Introduction

Edward Cullen has lost count to the amount of times he's stepped foot on school grounds. If people knew his and his siblings real age, there wouldn't be much of the school left. He sighed as he stepped into the school building, avoiding the looks of almost everyone – nope, it was everyone.

He could almost taste the gossip.

Hell, he could already hear the gossip.

"I think angels just walked into the school."

"Wait, those are the new doctor's kids I heard about - Collin's or something?"

"Why are they holding hands?"

Edward inwardly groaned when he noticed Rosalie's and Emmett's nonchalant attitude and swinging hands. The two could barely keep it together even on the first day. But he was well aware keeping a low profile for his family was damn near impossible. They stood out worse than a sore thumb.

"Impossible," he suddenly heard Alice mumble under breath but he caught it. Immediately, he started surfing through her mind but was met with rock rendition of Twinkle Twinkle Little Star. He tried digging deeper but found absolutely nothing he hadn't seen before. And the last thing he needed to see ever again was Jasper and her - never mind.

Edward glared at his sibling as she giggled and skipped away with her mate. He rolled his eyes and decided to just walk to his English class, which happened to be his favorite. Out of everything he seems to learn and relearn, English never seems to bore him.

Abigail Davis was as average as a person could be in small town Forks, Washington. She has a group of friends that she grew up with. She has a brother who left the tiny town as soon and fast as he could. And she has a Honda Accord that was, quite frankly, as average as her.

She had loving parents that left her alone far too soon.

Tragedy was something that Abigail was not accustomed to and when it struck, she was simply surviving. It was easier than living, she believed. The world had already ended in her mind.

However, Edward Cullen refused to believe Abigail was just surviving - that was his job. He forces himself into her life as harshly as the thunder boomed in the state of Washington, a sound it never tires of. But he soon forgets the danger that encompasses his life when he realizes she's more than a beautiful lonely girl, and he drags her into his perilous life with a price to pay for the simple act of love.

A/N: Okay, just a quick few notes. This is my first FanFiction ever, so I hope you all enjoy it!

So, this Edward/OC story:

1) Takes place before Twilight, and during all four books/movies with many alterations from the original.

2) Bella exists.

3) There's an extra member of the Cullen Clan.

4) The Cullen's arrive during Junior year instead of Freshmen year.

I think everything else is pretty much the same. I'll let you know if anything more changes as the story goes on. I truly hope you guys enjoy the story! I'll do my best updating twice a week. Now, enjoy the first chapter.
