A/N Hey guys! The next part of the battle is here! Hope you enjoy :)

...And uhm, keep your tissues ready for this one guys. Y'all are gonna hate me after this...

Percy kept an eye out for Kronos, why hadn't he appeared yet? And just great Percy must have the worst luck in the world because right as he thought those words, a voice boomed out.

"Perseus Jackson..."

Percy looked up and standing there in all of his assholish glory was Kronos himself. His chariot was driven by Prometheus, Percy grit his teeth. He had met the clever Titan during the previous war and was not fond of repeating the experience.

The monster army fell back, forming ranks near Kronos, who was here with reinforcements. The Titan Lord was smirking as Percy strode forward in the center. His friends stood behind him, the Gods and Thalia and Nico stood with him, Tony was hovering above, it was reminiscent of the start of the battle.

Though this time, his friends were more tired and definitely a lot more bloodied and bruised. Percy himself had multiple small cuts but he wasn't bothered.

"Kronos, last chance, stand down." He defiantly told the Titan lord.

Kronos simply smirked, "I have come too far to stop now Percy, this will only end when one of us is dead now. And I think we both know who that is.

Percy kept his face blank but thought, oh I definitely know who it is.

"If you wish then. Demigods, let's send their asses back into the ground." Despite them being tired and wounded another huge cheer rose out of the crowd.

Kronos simply smiled and gestured his army forward. The two armies once again met in a flurry of swords.

Poseidon stood near the boundary line, incinerating the monsters who tried to cross into the demigods' tents. He would have preferred being in the main of the battle but defeating Polybotes had taken up a lot of his energy, and since he was lending some to Percy too he was quite drained.

But he fought as well as before. He kept an eye on the battle ready to summon an earthquake just in case the tide turned.

Kronos was advancing leisurely, taking great pleasure in strewing demigods out of his way. They were no match for his skill. A beam of bright light suddenly hit Kronos, causing him to stagger slightly. He turned around furious.

Tony saw the Titan Lord turn around furious and was frozen for a moment. He dodged quickly though when Kronos threw a blade at him. This made the Titan Lord even more angry and Kronos came up at him with fury, Tony tried to keep up, he really did but Kronos was skilled enough to even attack Natasha easily. Of course he is Tony, he is a freaking Evil Titan Lord, his brain supplied helpfully.

Tony didn't register at first when the sword pierced his armour, he just kept fighting, or rather dodging the blows trying to get a shot in, but another dagger to the abdomen had him collapsing. Kronos smirked in glee as he heard a vaguely familiar voice shouting, "TONY! NO!"

Tony's vision faded in out and out but he saw the sea green eyes pouring into him, begging him to hold on, he heard a faint laugh and a jumble of shouts everywhere.

Percy watched as though seemingly in slow motion as Kronos pushed the dagger into Tony's armour.

"TONY! NO!" He yelled out desperately as he ran towards the now collapsed figure. Kronos stood to the side merely watching with amused laughter. Percy dropped down to Tony's side and saying, "Tony, please, please stay awake, Tony come on."

He saw the unfocused whiskey brown eyes starting to close and his breath hitched. No, it wouldn't happen again, he wouldn't let anyone else die for him.

"Nico! Take him away!" He shouted as Nico got beside him, he whispered, "Please save him."

Nico only gave him a firm nod and melted back into the shadows taking Tony along with him. Percy closed his eyes gathering his thoughts for a moment.

Oh now you've really done it Kronos. You will pay for that.

Percy stood, this time gripping Arius. The hatred was swirling like a raging sea in his eyes. The brunt of his furious gaze directed towards Kronos who looked more wary and had the slightest hint of fear in his eyes.

Percy gave him a shark's grin, which made everyone who saw it shiver, "You hurt him, and now, now you will pay."

The Avengers exchanged a glance, this time Percy was furious and would not hold back. They were about to witness his true wrath rain down on Kronos, and if they were honest, they could not find a single emotion of sympathy for him. He had hurt Tony, and now he would pay.

Thalia and Nico stood firmly a little distance behind Percy, ready to intercept at a moment's notice but they did not think they would need it, Percy looked so furious, his glare alone should have evaporated Kronos. (LOL I accidentally typed Thanos)

All around them the battle still raged but to Percy it was just a background noise as he and Kronos met with a loud clang of blades. Kronos was just as strong, if not stronger than Percy remembered.

The two exchanged blows that were a blur to the rest. Percy stabbed and ducked, Kronos countering with a powerful blow to his left side, which he quickly intercepted.

"Well, Percy I must say, you've grown." Kronos said as he managed to avoid yet another one of Percy's strikes, around them the wind had picked up and Percy had to speak louder than normal to be heard, "Yeah, well that's what happens when time passes, bitch."

Kronos apparently did not agree with Percy's humour as he growled under his breath. Percy was growing tired now. He couldn't keep this up forever, Kronos noticed this and started pressing his advantage, forcing Percy to back up bit-by-bit.

Percy grit his teeth, Kronos was letting his guard down thinking Percy was going to give up. This gave Percy plenty of opportunity to strike him but he had to make the smart choice, he only had one shot at this.

He countered the blows pretending to slow down seeming as though he was tired. Kronos foolishly kept coming at him, seemingly not realizing Percy's plan.

Another few dodges later Percy saw the perfect opportunity, he raised Arius willing Kronos' hand to slow down as he did so. He slit Arius straight through Kronos' throat. The Titan Lord only had time to yell a horrified, "No!"

Before his form exploded. Percy was once again thrown off as a blinding flash of light shone. Percy felt happiness for a moment before the pain and the consequences of his decision hit him full force.

He dropped to the ground, leaning against a boulder, his insides felt as though they were being ripped apart. Something sticky and warm ran down his mouth.

His quickly blurring eyesight, recognized a figure shaking him, several others yelling something else. He took a shuddering breath and ow, did that fucking hurt.

He raised his hand with a great effort and the commotion stopped. He focused on the figure closest to him, identical green eyes bore into each other and Percy smiled one last time as he choked out, "Let me go. It's okay."

And as he closed his eyes he saw a very familiar blonde calling him, "Come on Percy you've done well."

Percy felt himself rise but asked, "But...what about them?"

The blonde simply smiled sadly, "They will be okay Percy, for now it's time to go." Percy took the hand extended out and grasped him tightly as if it was the only thing keeping him alive, or well in this case dead.

They'll be okay. They'll be okay. He kept repeating that to himself as some sort of mantra. He didn't look back afraid that if he did, he might never want to leave.

Nico screamed as he felt Percy's life fade out. Thalia understood the expression and a stricken looked crossed her face as she stumbled down to her knees, "No! No! Percy no!"

Athena laid a firm hand on both cousins' shoulders, "Don't cry for him, for he's reunited with Annabeth again." Though she herself was holding back tears.

Poseidon still clutched Percy's body in limp shock. He knew this was coming, he knew, long before anyone then why? Why did it hurt so much?

The demigods and their allies had gathered around them. Reyna had tears streaming down her face as she watched the light leave Percy's eyes.

Artemis was the first one to drop to her knees, bowing her head in respect.

"For the bravest warrior we have ever seen."

One by one, everyone followed. Steve looked upon the ghastly scene. The dust still lingered in the air and the dying rays of the sun painted the sky in beautiful colours as though giving one last tribute to Percy.

The ghost of his smile was still etched upon his face as Natasha bowed her head, hiding her tears though she knew everyone else was crying too. Beside her knelt Clint, he looked every bit as devastated as she felt.

As the dust settled, all of them, Gods, mortals and demigods alike knelt in honour of the one they had come to love and respect.

And it felt wrong, oh so wrong that the boy who kept giving and giving everything he had within him, even when he lost his family, who led them all to victory, who brought them together, would never again see the world he helped protect.

Thalia felt as though her heart was ripped apart, she still could not understand the fact that she would never see those sea green eyes winking mischievously at her, see the smile that guaranteed trouble and made hearts melt, would never hear the annoying voice teasing her and infuriating her. That their big three group was now down to two.

Nico felt numb. Just numb. He had lost yet another sibling, first Bianca, then Jason, then Hazel and now Percy. Somehow even though he had seen Percy almost die several times, he had never really thought what would happen when Percy actually did die. Percy felt like an immortal legend, someone who would live on despite the things hurled at them, and the idea that Percy would- no is dead, he reminded himself bitterly, was so, so unbelievable. But it had happened and it reminded him of just how mortal and fragile they were. And he did not like the thought at all.

Zeus and Hades quietly stood up and walked towards Poseidon, "Come on brother, he is happy now." Hades softly told Poseidon who just numbly nodded.

Hades and Zeus helped Poseidon stand, he cradled Percy in his hands. Slowly the rest stood up, everyone supporting each other. Chris held a shaking Clarisse tightly in his arms, controlling his own tears. Clint and Nico were similarly holding Natasha and Thalia respectively. Reyna walked slowly with Dakota by her side. Steve trailed behind Natasha and Clint.

Travis and Connor were looking the saddest anyone had ever seen them, Hermes walked with them, a calming hand on each shoulder.

The heroes walked back to the Palace, lost in their own grief. The injured had already been carried to the infirmary, there were four demigods dead. Marie (a daughter of Athena), Sam (a son of Apollo), Thomas (a son of Hephaestus) and Alex (a daughter of Hermes).

Suddenly a loud gasp was heard from Natasha. Steve turned to her and asked what happened. The horrified look never leaving her face she answered, "Tony."

There were similar gasps at this, Tony and Percy had grown really close. Steve's heart broke at the thought Tony finding out. Nico only hoped that Tony would be alright, he had put him in the care of Bruce and Will, but Tony's life force was draining out fast so it was difficult to tell but he felt confident that Tony would pull through. The worst part was going to be breaking this to him.

A/N I know...I know. I'm sorry. The story isn't over yet though so stick around :)
