"Unbelievable." Ororo muttered to herself in shock as she looked around at the carnage of destroyed stone embedded into several homes and the bodies of soldiers dotted across the ground. There must've been around 200 soldier on the part of the wall that was now gone, though the other soldiers who were helping their fallen comrades asked their King and Queen to leave in case of another attack, they refused as they began to help. One of the first soldiers Ororo bend down to help was mostly fine except for a nasty burn on his leg that was hurting him, using her power Ororo created a block of ice that she had the man press against the burn to ease the pain.
On her fifth patient Ororo heard someone yell "Peter!" And looking around saw Felicia, halfway redress in her uniform, running towards Peter to fling her arms around his neck and passionately kissing him with tears in her eyes. Though they had been keeping the wedding between the Spider and Cat a secret, it was clear that Felicia didn't care at the moment if anyone saw and Ororo couldn't blame her if she was in her place of waking up to an explosion and not sure if her love was among the living or dead. "I'm alright." Peter said hugging his second white haired wife in comfort, while receiving puzzled looks from some soldiers and smiles from people like Ororo or the other Royal Guards who knew of the secret marriage.
After they separated and Felicia dried her eyes she quickly took to action by having the guards take up supervising certain areas to coordinate, through a telepathic connection made by Betsy, the evacuation of the wounded to the nearby hospitals with Lorna helping fairing the most critical there faster by flying them on metal stretchers. Meanwhile as Ororo helped put out the many fires, Peter commanded the rest of the army, not helping in search and rescue, to shore up their defenses around the big hole in the wall while distance cheers could be heard from the Purifier camp and it took all Peter had to stop his soldiers from counter attacking.
"They will pay for this!… But for now we must remember that we need to protect our wounded people as they are attended to!… Plus those Sentinels would crush you before you can get anywhere near the camp!" These were just a few of the things Peter told his troop, who didn't like it but grudgingly agreed. It was almost morning when Peter received as final tally of the dead that totaled about 80 fatalities and 120 wounded, sighing Peter told the soldier to go to Betty Brant with every name of the dead so she could start writing a memorial story for them. There weren't any other actions from the Purifiers until the sun had risen all the way from East when Hawkeye kin eyes up on the wall spotted three of them walking from their camp towards the city, believing them to be more bombers the York defenders hastily prepare to fire when Hawkeye noticed the Purifiers were unarmed and holding olive branches.
"They are probably coming to say that there 'still time' for you to give them the Princess." Hawkeye said to Peter, "No doubt, which they have the nerve to do after what they done last night." Peter replied before saying "Fire an arrow to tell them to stop." And Hawkeye did, firing an arrow across the field to land mere inches from the lead Purifier foot, this stopped the group as Peter called through a speaking trumpet. "If you here thinking that I will negotiate with you cowardly terrorist at all after what you just did, then you can turn around and go back to your camp to prepare for battle." Peter could see the lead Purifier give a shrug like he didn't really care for his answer before his group headed back to their army now getting into formation. "Hawkeye…" Peter said to the purple clad archer, "I want you to take command of theses men on the wall, I'm trusting you to do so." Hawkeye nodded as Peter went organize his troops into position at the wall breach in a row of ten across with their shields sort of overlapping to create a shield wall.
"This is where we hold them! This is where we fight! Here is where their numbers counts for nothing and we can break this army here!" Peter shouted to his men who gave battle hoots in response as they ready themselves for the approaching Purifiers around 6,000 to converge on the wall opening and the remaining 4,000 attacked the wall along with the remaining sentinels. Just like yesterday York loose rocks, arrows and lead balls at the attackers. But unlike yesterday they went away with their mutant protection domes believing they were just facing normal people, which was their mistake since Ororo was on top of high building, out of their weapon range, calling down lightning on both the ladders of the Purifiers trying to scale the wall and the Sentinels to prevent them from full on rushing it.
This didn't deterred the Purifiers as they charged towards the hole and slammed into the shield wall that didn't budge because of both the men behind holding the front in place and also since a strange force seemed to be keeping the metal shields from moving. Which Peter knew was from Lorna, who, with one hand on the shields, used her free hand to pick up spare arrows from a barrel and threw them down onto the Purifiers. Who at some point tried to do another suicide attack, but the Hawkeyes stop this by shooting and detonating their bombs that instead sent scores of nearby Purifiers into every direction. Who began to fall in large drove because for every York soldier that fell, ten Purifiers were killed in retaliation and soon they had to pull back from the wall to regroup, but unfortunately for them Betsy sent Peter a telepathic message that, from Archangel eyes as he flew over head to tell where the Purifiers were moving, showed in the distance coming from behind the Purifiers was another force barring the red, blue and black spider flag, Lord Miguel O'Hara had finally arrived.
Seeing an opportunity Peter had Betsy send O'Hara a message before he rallied his troops, who followed him through the hole with a battlecry and ran across the field towards the Purifiers as O'Hara force charged from the other direction. Over 13,000 soldiers came down on the now 8,000 Purifiers, who was caught off guard by O'Hara troops from behind that there were chaos among the Purifier ranks and Risman barely managed to form a defensive line when they were hit. The battle was intense and it had to be knowledge that the Purifier fought tooth and nail to survive, but it wasn't enough as more and more were cut down by York soldiers. During the fight Peter finally came face to face with Risman, who was at a disadvantage because of Peter's spider-sense allowing him to dodge his attacks and land more blows. Finally Peter ran his sword through Risman's chest, holding to his word of being the last thing Risman saw as the life went out of his eyes. With their leader dead, the rest of the Purifiers lost their will to fight and threw down their weapons, though some just wanted to kill them all for the lives, both human and mutant, lost Peter's men knew that, though the Purifiers wouldn't have, they must be better by showing mercy as they put the terrorist in chains.

It was a couple of days after the war of the Purifiers, the dead buried and given their respects and thanks to the mutants the hole in the wall was mended much quicker then normal. Peter and Lorna stood in front of the call mirror, they had been too busy to try it until today and Lorna had doubts about getting a response. "Don't give up hope." Peter said before activating the mirror, unlike the other times there came a response as a live image of a blue skinned man with a tail appeared in the mirror.
"Hello? Kurt Wagner speaking, who is this?" Judging by the narrowest of the image apparently the man Kurt could only see Peter who answered, "King Peter Parker of York, I need to speak with King Magneto immediately."
"He is occupied at the moment, what could you need to speak that is so urgent?" Kurt asked and Peter looked at Lorna with a smile before stepping aside to let her take the stage, "The urgency my dear brother-in-law is to let my father know that I'm not dead." The look on Kurt's face was beyond priceless and immediately he suddenly disappeared in a puff of blue smoke, "He teleported." Lorna explained as they waited, which wasn't long as with another cloud of blue smoke Kurt was back and in the company of a woman who looked similar to Lorna except her hair was auburn and her dress was a crimson red.
"L… Lorna? Is it really you?" The woman asked as her knees shook and Kurt had to hold her to keep her from falling to her knees, "Yes Wanda…" Lorna said with happy tears in her eyes "It's me." "We thought you were killed at the village, where are you… how did you…?" Wanda demanded as Lorna proceed to explain, after she finished Lorna asked "What of you guys, from what we heard the Purifiers was attacking you as well."
"They did, and it was a great siege. They seemed to have attacked with everything they had, but now we know that it wasn't and that was their mistake because without those extra 12,000 men their final attack failed and the Purifiers were wiped out." Kurt explained, but before anymore could be said the mirror gave a little warning beep. "About to lose the connection." Peter said and could see the sadness on Lorna's face when he got an idea "Lady Wanda, your sister told me about the teleporting mutant Blink. I give you guys permission to transport in front of my castle." Realizing what he was saying Wanda replied "We'll come tomorrow morning around ten or so, thank you…" The connection started to waver "See you soon Lorna, I love you…" The call went dead. "I love you too." Lorna muttered before turning to Peter and embracing him in a hug "Thanks Peter." He nodded as the two went to prepare for the coming guest.
The next day Peter, Ororo, Felicia, Lorna, Betsy and Warren was sitting on the castle's front steps waiting playing a word game by seeing how many words you get using the letters from only one word. They were have fun when finally a purple portal appeared on front lawn, first to step through was the purple skinned mutant Blink, followed by both Lady Wanda and her husband Kurt, along with a bald headed man who wore a mechanical device around his legs to help him walk beside the last man. He wore Royal red and purple clothes and helmet on his head that was in fact the crown of King Eric, who removed it with his powers of magnetism to reveal his snow white hair and the surprise/delight on his face as he saw his daughter. "Daddy!" Lorna yelled running down the steps and practically jumping into her father's arms, who sank to the ground as he hugged the daughter he thought lost. Wanda joined in the hugging reunion while the bald man approached the King and Queen of York, "Charles. It good to see you again." Ororo said hugging the advisor and creator of the X-Knight Charles Xiaver, who returned his former knight hug. "And you too Ororo, I'm glad to see you well and… pregnant." Charles said surprise looking at Ororo's slightly protruding belly. "No doubt yours King Parker." "Just Peter and yes, I couldn't be more happier." Peter answered shaking Xiaver's hand as he felt the telepathic presents in his mind, it wasn't evasive just a confirmation to Xiaver that Peter was treating his friend right and smiled knowing that Ororo was with the perfect man.
Who turned to the King of Genosha as he approached with his daughters, "King Parker, I owe you a debt of graduate I may never be able to repay for the safety of both my daughter and my people." Magneto said offering his hand which Peter took, "Their good well being is good enough." He said though Peter knew, from what Lorna told him about her father, that Magneto would insist on giving a reward and quickly spoke. "But if you insist on trying to pay me back, your daughter and I had come up with an idea." The mutants looked at the green haired woman as she talked, "Do you remember that outreach program Uncle Xiaver?" Charles looked confused "You mean the human and mutant living program?" Lorna nodded "Yes you see, we had a talk with the refugees and many wants to stay because York had become a safe place for them. The people had shown them compassion and friendships are formed, the homes they stayed in had become a new small yet slowly growing community called Mutant Town."
"What does this have to do with Charles program?" Magneto asked not understanding as his daughter answered "As far as I can see, it have already begun." Then it seemed to click in the mutants' brains, the program was a test to see if humans and mutants could live together in harmony. It wasn't popular because of the Purifiers, but it was sort of a dream of Xiaver and who smiled as he looked in Lorna's mind to see and show Magneto the kindness of the humans of York. "I know you don't feel it right now Dad, but Mutant Town is the first step in mending the bridge that those terrorists tried to burn down." Lorna said with anxious expression on her face for her father's decision.
Who was quite for a long moment before he spoke to Peter "You are alright with this Parker? I don't want them to be…" "They haven't been a burden at all, in fact they proved themselves to just want to live in peace like the rest of my people and are welcome to stay." Peter told Magneto with a hand on his shoulder "I know that it'll take time for you to get used to the idea, but until then the mutants are welcome to stay. Want to come and see them…" Peter asked and the mutants nodded as Lorna had Xiaver send the location of Mutant Town to Blink so she could open a portal to it. Upon seeing their King the mutants was overjoyed and practically threw a small parade for the King of Genosha, who was surprise by the way his mutants, who seen many evils of humans, enacting with the normal non power folk as if they were one in the same people. By the time the group returned to the castle Peter could tell that his and Lorna's plan was working, though it almost ruined when Lorna told her father she would stay in York.
"But why?!" Eric asked almost bending all the utensils on the dinner table, "Because as you are in charge of everyone in Genosha, theses mutants in York have become my charges Father. We been through much and they now look to me as the leader of this new community who have a voice in Peter's court, I can't abandon my duties here." Magneto might've objected until Charles had a psychic word with his best friend and after a long moment, during which the tension was high, Magneto said "Alright Lorna, you may stay. But there is a condition."
"And what may that be?" Lorna asked nervously "You must visit home often." Her father answered and he was nearly thrown out of his chair by his daughter's hug. The next day the mutants had to return home, but not before Peter received a peck on the cheek from Wanda as thanks for keeping her sister safe and giving his word to Eric that he would take care of his daughter.
