Chapter 17

Cold crept down his spine causing him to narrow his eyes. "It seems dusk is settling upon you, King Odin." He gazed upon the Bifrost, pondering on when to expect the inevitable invasion. Thor was still on Midgard but was somehow hidden from him just like Loki was. If Thor knew the impact Odin's actions could have he didn't blame him for turning his back on his father. The chance to reconcile with Loki would make the decision only easier. Heimdal didn't know what to think of the Midgardians that had bypassed Asgard's defenses some time ago and freed Loki. They had in-depth knowledge on said defenses and he didn't know what measures they would employ to do it again. For there was no doubt that they would do it again.

~Scene Change~

The Bifrost came alive and Thor stepped through. Heimdall gave him a critical eye. "Came for a visit, my prince?" Thor nodded with a welcoming smile. "Aye. I came to see mother. I have nothing to say to father." The dark-skinned man nodded. "Understandable. The king has many faults; hopefully, you don't take him to task for them." Thor clenched his jaw. "I don't want to." "But you feel you have to." "Are you accusing me of something?" Heimdall shifted subtly into an offensive stance. "You seem to be rearing for a fight." The blonde relaxed a bit. "Of course I am. I feel threatened in my own home." "Since when?" "Since I realized what father is willing to sacrifice to get his way." They stared at each other silently, gold eyes inspecting blue. Heimdall relaxed fully and Thor followed suit. "The king's flaws are many, no one is perfect, young one." "Can I go now?"

Heimdall bowed loosely so Thor left the room. As soon as he felt it was safe he shook his limbs nervously. "That was scary." "Focus, you dunce." "You dare mortal?" he hissed seemingly to himself. "Stop bickering brother." Another voice came through, chastising. "It's not my fault." "It doesn't matter, get the job done." Another voice, commanding this time, said. "This is not easy you know." Thor growled. He quickly pasted on a smile to wave at the citizens happy to greet him. 'The beloved prince comes home to deafening cheer.' Since he couldn't fly he had to survive the walk to the palace. He didn't enjoy it. The palace halls were grand and pretentious as always, the guards smiled at him as he passed too.

The closer he got to the throne room the more nervous he got. To his disappointment his destination was empty. He went to the closest guard. "Where is my father?" The guard bowed shortly then said. "The king went to visit the gardens, my prince." Thor nodded and hurried away. He didn't ask where his mother was, he wasn't sure he wanted to know. He wasn't sure he wanted her to witness this. Then again, her faults are many too.

The gardens were in bloom. 'They are always in bloom.' A small search later he found his father, his mother was with him. He almost groaned out loud. They turned to him, his mother with a smile and his father with guilt. "Thor, how have you been." The woman hugged him warmly. Thor almost melted into it. Almost. "Mother, it's been a while." He kissed her cheek. "Father?" Odin smiled slightly. "Son. It's good to see you back home. I was afraid you wouldn't want to see me again." "You're my father. How could I stay away." Odin's smile grew more real. "I am glad. There's a lot I'd like to share." Thor sat down between his parents. The next few hours were filled with happy chatter. The nervousness melted away yet he couldn't let himself go. This was all he ever wanted from his parents. Why didn't it happen sooner? Why now, why this way? His dream is finally coming through and he can't even be himself.

Feeling that he had delayed this long enough he found an excuse for Frigga to leave. The woman thought nothing of it and left gracefully. "Father, do you regret what you did to Loki?" Odin thought about it for a moment then gave him a steely look. "Everything I did…" "Was for the good of Asgard. I know, but do you regret it." No answer came. The good mood had long since disappeared. Thor gave a mirthless laugh. "I can't believe you. Did you ever love me?" The confused stare he got tipped him to his mistake. "What are you talking about my boy?" Thor turned away. "The way you treat Loki…should I ever expect the same treatment? Am I also a tool to you?" Odin stepped forward to grip his shoulder but Thor shook him off. "I am disappointed father." "One day you will understand." "That day may never come."

Odin was going to say more but gasped when cold steel bit into his flesh. "What a great father you've been." Someone whispered behind him. Odin was shocked at this turn of events, and he couldn't even call on his staff. He felt his energy quickly leaving him, being suck into the knife lodged deep into his back. Frantic eyes met his son's and grew even wider. Thor, his son, had melted to take another form, that of his much-hated adopted son. He hissed in pain as the knife dug deeper into his flesh. "Any last words for you son?" Odin growled in anger. "I have nothing to say to you. You disgust me." "Haven't I always?" Loki quipped. He was grinning but one could see the sadness in him. "You're making a grave mistake." Odin warned. "If I die, a dire evil would be released into the world. No one can stop it but me." "How arrogant of you." Loki sneered but still acknowledged his warning. "Say we believe you; what sort of evil would plague the universe?"

The pain was starting to get to him. He had broken out into a cold sweat and he realized the blade was probably poisoned. "My daughter, Hela." Loki straightened up, focusing on the dying man. "Who?" "Hela, the Goddess of Death. She's my firstborn. However, she grew too power-hungry, too strong. I had no choice but to seal her away. My life essence is the only thing keeping her away." Loki laughed. "So you threw away another one of your children. Like the broken toys we are." "You are not my child." He turned to address his attacker. "I hope you make the right decision. Thor is not ready for this." "Unfortunately the poison has no cure. If the wound doesn't kill you the poison sure would. So let me save you the agony and put you out of your misery." Before the king could protest his throat was slit. Loki couldn't look away from his father. He wanted to see the life leave his eyes. The man he hated for so long and yet hoped would look at him at least once. Surprisingly, he was sad to see him go. Steeling himself, he looked away from the dead king to the accomplice.

Samuel was cleaning the blood off his blade with a soft cloth. "That was uneventful." The red-head commented. Loki agreed with him but stayed silent. He dug into his front pocket and pulled out eight black marbles. He threw them on the ground and they transformed into Hadrian, Itachi, Thor, Naruto, Liam, Sasuke, Alex, and Suigetsu. Alfred had stayed behind to watch Zack and the company. Sasuke quickly found himself a thick bush and threw up. Alex and Suigetsu were quick to do the same. The others looked a little green too. "Traveling in someone's pocket as a thing is not comfortable." Suigetsu griped.

Hadrian looked at the king's dead body. "Goddess of Death, huh?" he mumbled before scoffing in contempt. Only he was the true Master of Death. This Hela's title was just that; a title and nothing more. Suigetsu recovered first from the sick spell. "Now that I think about it, these lands and people that Asgard has conquered couldn't have come from anything other than violence. Do you think this Hela chick was part of it?" "Considering the secrecy behind her existence I'd give it a ninety-percent likelihood. Asgard has a tendency of burying its dark past." Itachi responded. Thor frowned at their words, contemplating the truth behind them. Sooner or later he'd have to dig up all those secrets, even if it's just to satisfy himself. He glanced at Loki. The man now looked unperturbed, disinterested in the conversation.

He went to get the young god's attention but a heavy frown dismissed that notion. Loki subtly reached for his weapon. Thor cautiously surveyed his surroundings. He saw nothing amiss, but the magic in the air was stirring. The rest of the group was still conversing loudly in the private garden. Thor realized they hadn't noticed the change. Harry raised his hand in a halting motion. "Hush!" Quiet settled over the group. A wind rushed past them. Harry was tense. "On your toes men!" he commanded. Immediately everyone was battle-ready. Nothing occurred for a few moments, then…

Loki's eyes widened as a portal opened in the middle of the garden, distorting the air around it. It opened to a dark abyss and from it, a tall dark-haired woman stepped out. She held herself with an arrogant poise that spoke of years of battle experience, dressed in form-fitting dark green battle garments that accentuated her figure and an aristocratic face staring at them with interest. The aura around her was dark and imposing; it made the hairs rise at the back of his neck. "So, the king is dead." Her silky voice announced.

Sasuke's kunai shook in his clenched fists. 'What is this…this power? I've never felt anything like it.' "Steady, otouto." Itachi whispered to his brother. Sasuke took a deep breath, determined not to show much more weakness. "Hai." His voice was steady, more confident. Though the grip on his weapon was a bit too tight. Itachi gave a satisfied nod, focus already back to their enemy. Naruto was growling lowly next to him, the threat making his fight or flight instincts go haywire. Sasuke chanced a glance to see his eyes flashing red on and off. Even so, he didn't move from his spot.

"Mistress of Death, am I right?" Hadrian addressed her. She turned her attention to him, interest wavering. This boy seemed even weaker than the red-headed man whose aura was almost non-existent. "And you are?" she asked, deciding to amuse him. "Hadrian Potter. I'm pleased…" Hela cut him off dismissively. "You bore me with your presence. Now then, kneel." There was silence for a few shocked seconds then, "Excuse me?" Suigetsu questioned, mouth hanging slightly open. "You heard me." She said arrogantly. "Kneel, to your queen." "As if." Naruto quipped, voice deep and gravelly in his state. His whisker marks had become darker and more defined, fangs poking out from his lips. Hela shifted to a ready stance. "No? Then I'll make you."

She darted forward to the nearest person; who just so happened to be Samuel. The red-head was caught by surprise and couldn't move in time. A spike appeared from nowhere and the goddess struck it into his chest. Samuel gasped in pain and was thrown backward. Before he even hit the ground Hela was off to her second victim. Luckily, Suigetsu had the forethought to make himself burst in a spray of water. Most of the liquid gathered a second later into Suigetsu's form, the rest was fashioned into spikes that rained down on the slightly surprised Hela. She was able to dodge each and every one of those spikes. Thor and Loki moved on the offensive.

"Itachi!" There was a command in Harry's voice. The raven was already moving to Samuel's side, palms glowing a pale green. He hovered them over the man's prone body. 'Shit.' Out loud he said. "The wound is grave. I need to treat him immediately. It will take time." The group heard him clearly through their earpieces. "Do what you must." Itachi gave an affirmative and shunshinned Samuel along with him to a safer corner.

Naruto was angry. No, he was enraged. No one touches his family and gets away with it. With a snarl, he launched himself at Hela. Startled, Thor moved out of the way just to see the blonde swiped viciously at his supposed sister. Hela dodged easily as Naruto's mind was clouded by rage. Thor moved further away to avoid being made collateral damage. He scampered to his brother. Loki had been nicked by a blade on his side. It was bleeding pretty badly too. "Catch!" Thor caught the bottle that was thrown in his direction by Alex. He recognized the potion and let Loki drink it. Almost immediately the man's brows relaxed from his pained grimace. Thor looked again at Naruto engaging Hela. The man was feral by now, using his claws and teeth in a bid to tear into Hela. At some point, the blonde had lightly shredded Hela's arm. The witch was glaring at him ominously, throwing those spikes at him relentlessly but Naruto avoided them with inhuman speed, some he utterly destroyed with kicks and punches. His teeth were bloody from where he had managed to bite into the goddess' arm.

"He's…" Loki started but couldn't finish. Sasuke indulged him anyway. "He's lost control of his demonic side. Remember the tales of Kyuubi no Yoko Naruto was so eager to share with you?" Thor whipped around to gape at Sasuke. "You mean the great Kyuubi is Naruto?" "Naruto is not Kyuubi, but he holds his power while the demon itself sleeps within him. Do not hold him in contempt for it." Thor nodded in understanding. "Of course."

Naruto let out a roar of pain as Hela's sword dug into his thigh. The place where the blade was buried was already steaming as the flesh started to heal. The red-eyed blonde crouched threateningly on all fours like the fox demon he was. Three chakra tails were already swaying behind him in agitation. He opened his mouth wide so a red energy started to form in it. A second later he directed it at the goddess. A beam of red energy left his mouth straight towards Hela. The goddess' eyes widened in astonishment and the sheer power this boy could hold. She raised her hand to catch the attack in her palm. The force behind it pushed her back a few feet. Her palm had already started scorching. The attack stopped mere seconds later. Hela prepared to attack the blonde once again but paused.

The boy who addressed her first held her attacker in a chokehold. The hand not around his neck was pressed firmly on his forehead. He seemed to be whispering something in the feral man's ear. The blonde struggled a bit more then calmed down some. Hela took the time to calm herself too. Never had she fought one so reckless as well as skilled enough to drive her into a corner, even if she was taken by surprise. The rest of the group were watching her warily, around those who were injured as if to protect them. She lunged at them again.

"Lightning Style; Lightning blade!" A sword of lightning materialized on Sasuke's hand and he dove forward. He didn't allow himself to think how strong she was as they exchanged blows, instinct driving him more than anything as he avoided her attacks and dealt his own. He had to watch out for the random spikes that materialized around him. He jumped backward, making hand seals. "Fire style; Phoenix flame." He blew a stream of red hot flames at the goddess. Hela just swiped at them negligently. Out of the flames, Alex appeared. His palm was alight with an array of runes that were rapidly sucking in the dissipating flames. The runes flashed red then the flames shot back out in a focused beam, stronger and more concentrated. Hela spun away from the attack, only her cloak getting caught in the blaze. She cut it off with her blade before blocking a sword strike from Suigetsu.

"All of you, face the incoming guards! Naruto will fight with me." Suigetsu, Sasuke and Alex pulled away from Hela. Alex looked behind to see guards hovering indecisively at the entrance. It wouldn't be long before they came to a decision. Alex wanted to protest, he really did. However, he knew it wasn't wise to just focus on this battle alone when they had so many enemies. With a resigned growl, he turned to Sasuke and Suigetsu. "You two, get the guards in the palace. Loki, Thor, Liam, make sure no more make it in." The Phoenix members nodded resolutely and followed instructions. They knew how powerful Naruto could be, and Hadrian was unmatched by any they had seen. Loki hesitated. Thor was the one to voice his objections. "I must help. My sister is my responsibility now that Odin is dead." Alex snapped. "Don't be so noble! You're a prince, your people love you. Go calm them down while we disable those who give us trouble!" Thor still hesitated. "Now!" Losing patience, Alex ran to disable the group closest to them. Thor hovered a bit more but a touch from his brother drew him away.

Naruto was still growling but his eyes were clearer. The crimson orbs bore holes into Hela as she let the group separate, obviously thinking they'd be weaker apart. The thought filled him with vicious satisfaction. She won't know what hit her. Itachi joined them, hands stained red. "Samuel is stable. I left him in Alex's capable hands." Harry nodded. "I would send you away with the rest but I know you'd refuse." Naruto didn't imagine the satisfied glint in Itachi's eyes. "Besides, I believe we'd need your skillset. Remember Naruto, six tails." The blonde nodded in affirmative. Itachi frowned in question but dismissed it. They'd just have to work around him.

Itachi's black orbs morphed into the blood-red of his mangekyou sharingaan. He thrust his hand forward almost lazily. "Amaterasu." Black flames sparked into life right where Hela was. The goddess screamed in pain as the flames began to engulf her. She however let out a pulse of energy that blew away the flames. Itachi stumbled back in shock but steeled himself and brought the eternal flames back to life. Hela was quick to avoid them this time. Itachi chased after her with them, ignoring the throbbing pain in his eye.

Naruto launched forward after her, a manic grin lighting his face at the prospect of drawing blood once again. Itachi quickly stopped the flames of Amaterasu in a bid to stop himself from burning Naruto with them. The force of his restraint made him stumble to a knee, holding his bleeding left eye. "That idiot." He hissed. "A warning would have been nice." Harry brushed at Itachi's silky locks on his way past him. "His control is tenuous; forgive his misstep." Itachi nodded and uncovered his eye once again. Harry added. "And don't use your mangekyou sharingaan like this. It's bad for your health." Itachi scowled after him. The wizard produced a whip of magic in his hand. It shot out to bind Hela's arm. The goddess dropped the sword aiming to chop Naruto to pieces. Like a lion scenting weakness Naruto was quick on the offensive. Two of his chakra tails grabbed onto the other arm, searing it in the process. His fist collided with Hela's cheek. Blood spurted out of the woman's mouth. Naruto spun and his tails collided with her abdomen throwing her away a distance.

Harry apparated to her position and punched her again. Hela was surprised by the force behind the punch. She blocked the next few attacks. Blades materialized around her and she threw them at the raven. A few protegos took care of that. Harry slammed his palms on the ground. The floor rumbled and a serpent of earth tore out. It lunged at the goddess who disintegrated it with a powerful palm thrust. Blades flew at Harry, he dodged around them easily. Black lightning sparked between his fingers. He raised his hand and shot it towards her. She jumped away, right into Naruto's hammer kick. The force behind it rocketed right through to her bones. The ground cracked beneath her. More kicks created a crater. A Rasengan formed in Naruto's hand, the blue ball of chakra and wind tinted purple with demonic chakra. Hela frantically got away from it, for once in a long time fearing for her life.

She screamed in rage even as the ground was absolutely vaporized where the Rasengan hit. She slammed her palm on the floor. It was destroyed further as spikes bloomed from it like a morbid flower of death. A sweep of Harry's hand turned the spikes to dust. A wind picked up the particles and swept them Hela's way. A black lightning storm brewed within. The wind threatened to sweep Hela away. If that didn't work the lightning in the storm would deal some damage to her. Gritting her teeth she jumped upward. From her vantage point above she could see the chaos around the palace as guards were disabled and maids swept to safety. From the distance, he could see his much-abhorred brother and the stray Odin picked up hurrying the citizens along to safety with the help of guards and other citizens. She could feel Heimdall's gaze on her too.

She blocked a flying kick from Naruto. Grabbing his foot, she ignored the burn of that red energy around him and threw him straight back to the ground. Green magic sparked between her fingers like the burning flames of her rage. Blades materialized around them and moved to impale the two mortals. A ring of symbols appeared above her targets and flashed gold. The blades just sunk into it then re-emerged in reverse order. Hela dove around her own attack sent against her. Just as she thought she was out of the woods a burning pain engulfed her. She shrieked in agony, the pain so utterly all-encompassing she couldn't even think through it, otherwise it might have reminded her of the other man's black flames. She sneaked a peak to find black flames all around her. Something else wrapped around her arms and torso like snakes. It sapped away at her magic. The pain in her chest was nothing in comparison to the burning in her bones. Wait… She looked down at her chest to find a hole right through it. She gasped feebly once or twice and went limp.

Naruto pulled back his fist and touched back on the ground, watching as the flames engulfed the body completely until it was nothing but ashes in the wind. His arm was badly burnt but his demonic chakra prevented the flames from advancing too quickly on himself. He grinned in satisfaction, the expression looking manic on his face. "I killed her." He stated in a growl. He turned to see Harry already at Itachi's side. The raven was panting heavily, hand clutched over his bleeding eye again. Itachi was staring at Naruto in concentration and the flames engulfing his arm flickered out. He walked toward them. "Itachi-nii." "I'm fine." He didn't sound fine. Harry tutted. "The power in your eyes has deteriorated further. I told you not to use your mangekyou's offensive abilities anymore. Your impressive jutsu arsenal would have sufficed." He placed his hand over Itachi's eyes, a white glow emanating from it. Itachi sighed in relief as some of the damage was healed. "What are you trying to prove?" "I haven't lost my sight yet." Harry stared at him almost in disappointment. "If losing your sight is your end goal then you're excelling at it. I will not tolerate further disobedience." Itachi nodded subserviently. Harry helped him to his feet.

Now that the adrenalin was leaving him along with Kyuubi's chakra Naruto was starting to feel the pain of his injuries. The burn wound was particularly painful. Naruto didn't fault Hela for losing her wits under such pain. He clutched above the throbbing wound, Kyuubi's chakra not being able to heal it quickly due to the nature of the flames. Something cool washed over his arm and he focused back on his surroundings. "Harry-sama?" the suffix slipped before he could catch himself. He blushed; he didn't like addressing anyone so formally. Harry just healed the injury as best he could. There was some scarring left but Naruto believed that would go away eventually. His arm still hurt but not as badly as before. It was manageable. Then the exhaustion hit him and he swayed. Harry steadied him with firm hands. At his condition, Harry decided to carry him on his back. Naruto stiffened for a moment but he was too tired to object. He wrapped his arms around his neck and rested his head on his shoulder. He'll just rest for a while. Naruto was out before Harry could make it to the door.

Itachi made to open the door but Harry stopped him. "Wait!" Before Itachi could demand an explanation the door blasted outwards along with a column of flames. Naruto rolled away from him, a pained expression on his face as he was startled awake. "Naruto!" the man opened his eyes and they widened in apparent shock. Harry turned his eyes to what Naruto was staring at and his own grew wider. Above them was a monstrous fire demon; it was twice as tall as the palace and was utterly destroying it. Shock filled Harry's system. His men; they were still inside. 'No.' He sent a mental probe and got nothing back. He could not sense any of them. His pupils contracted in his rage. 'Unacceptable!' At that moment he forgot that his people were protected from death by Death, he forgot that he was the Master of Death. He only knew anger. He spun around to grab Naruto's wrist and apparated him to the Bifrost where he found Heimdall as well as some citizens seeking shelter. He stared into the man's eyes steadily, his calculating and Harry's holding a simmering rage. Eventually, the man bowed his head shallowly. Harry didn't question his subservience and apparated back. He repeated the action only now with Itachi in tow. "Stay." He ordered and returned.

He looked up at the raging demon, sending blasts of molten rock everywhere and burning everything.

IT. WOULD. PAY.

He saw Thor fluttering around the beast, lightning sparking around his form and striking at the monster but doing little damage. He outstretched his arm. "Accio." Thor was lurched back and came flying. "Aresto momentum." The thunder god slowed down to a stop next to him. He seemed bewildered with lightning striking aimlessly around him. "Cease your flailing." He commanded. Thor stared at him with surprise. "You…" "I will take care of Surtur. Worry about your citizens." Without waiting for a reply he stepped forward. The next step brought him hovering to the beast's eye level. This…abomination dared hurt his family. He would destroy it utterly. Clouds gathered up ahead, so thick they blocked out the sun. Green lightning gathered above, the flashes matching the color of his glowing eyes. The fire giant finally noticed him. He narrowed his eyes at the tiny thing defying him and pulled back his fist to swat him away. It collided with a golden shield and the spot erupted in flames on contact with Surtur's red-hot skin. The smoke cleared to reveal an unharmed Harry.

In his anger, the fire demon breathed fire in his direction. The shield held strong. Once Harry deemed the clouds charged enough he lifted his hand as if to reach for them. His arm visibly shook at the amount of energy he was consuming all at once. Surtur looked up at the flashes of green lightning, the color blinding yet still drawing the eye. He stared in confusion and anticipation, not knowing what to expect. A shiver went down his spine the longer he stared into the clouds. Lively as they seemed they felt devoid of life. Even the ambient magic seemed to disappear into them. He had a bad feeling about this.

Acting on instinct he stepped forward toward the cause of all this. Another long step brought him closer. All the while those green eyes were locked unblinkingly on his own, bright and filled with hate and contempt. He opened his mouth. "Your foolish actions have cost me my own. The price is death." Those were the last words Surtur heard as the glow in those eyes intensified and Harry gestured downward with his hand. A deafening boom filled the air. A large bolt of lightning came down from the clouds, lighting the world in an emerald haze. It connected with the demon and it's as if all that was him was stripped away. The fires burning on his torso flickered out like candlelight in the wind. His body went completely limp. A second strike tore his body apart and it crumbled to gravel. Multiple more stray bolts hit the surroundings, not even leaving flames in their wake. A lifeless vacuum was created in the atmosphere. Those still left lingering below felt the pull on their life forces and bowed to the pain of it. Luckily they were only weakened and left unconscious as if a hoard of dementors had passed by.

Harry felt his rage leave in a whoosh of air, taking his strength with it. He lost consciousness and was sent free-falling to the ground. Luckily someone managed to catch him out of the sky. Thor held the smaller man's body close as he made landfall. Once safe he pulled back to stare in awe at the man. To think that he could kill Surtur the fire demon with one attack…It was incredible. Just who was this person really? Surely he was mentioned in their legends or prophecies. He shook himself out of it. Right now he needed to get him help.

"Harry!" he turned to see Alex running towards them. He was covered in dirt and soot but was otherwise uninjured. Behind him Suigetsu, Sasuke, Samuel, and Liam were approaching as well. When he reached them Alex fussed over his leader, worried and relieved at the same time. "You idiot." He breathed, exasperation in his voice. "You never told me you could hurl killing curses out of the sky." "What?" was Thor's clueless question. Alex shook his head. "Hey!" Liam exclaimed. "Is the boss okay? He can't die, right?" There were mumbles of dissatisfaction from the group. Alex clucked his tongue. "Of course not. He just needs to rest. Considering we survived whatever that was Harry definitely wouldn't die." He stood up, and Thor straightened to his full height. They started walking towards the royal emergency bunker where Thor led them. Soon Harry was tucked into a bed and the group could start to deal with the next problem. Alex turned to Thor. "Just where did the fire demon come from?" Thor sweatdropped at the expectant looks thrown his way. "I'll explain."

A/N: Over a hundred follows and favorites. Wow, just wow. I can't believe there are so many people on this wagon. Thank you for your support. It means a lot and I'm grateful.

So Asgard still exists. I honestly found the decision to destroy Asgard and instead dump them on the poor Earthlings appalling. 'Asgard is its people.' Ya, and overpopulation is a thing. I liked Hela in the movies, but in the end, she was so weak she was killed with one blow from a fire demon. I was so disappointed that such a strong lady was snuffed out just like that. To my eternal suffering, my meager writing skills couldn't do anything for her.

I honestly think Loki deserves the crown (or is that the fangirl in me?). He was dealt a horrible hand in life. Give the poor sod a break.

Phoenix is such a caring patchwork of individuals. I love them, I hope you do too, and I'm rambling.

Stay tuned for more.
