(Continuing From Where The Last Chapter Left Off, With Kuzuku and Zugo. . .)
Kuzuku weakly raised his head to stare at the faint red light that shot into the sky. He could barely sense it due to how fast it was moving but he was positive that it was Broly. Confused, though too injured to really dwell on it, the young Saiyan let out a sigh of relief, "We-welp. . .lo-looks like they're gone for now. . .we can. . .rest easy." Hearing this, the Astackian eased his body and breathing as the Glacial Prison surrounding them disintegrated slowly due to his command. Little by little, Kuzuku could feel the winds blow against his body which caused him to shiver a bit while his Astackian friend seemed unfazed.
"That's all good and all, but. . ." Zugo sighed, his eyes wandering onto the battered Saiyan, "How are you guys getting home? I can't carry both of you in the state I am in."
Kuzuku chuckled weakly, "I-I think that's not. . .much of a problem." Zugo raised an eyebrow at his lack of worry until heard the sound of someone's feet touching the ground. He turned, his eyes now locking onto the hero of the day whose hair had remained blue. The fusion smirked at him, his hand resting on his hip as he greeted them.
"You two seem fine. . .definitely not dead at least," Gogeta jokingly relieved.
"Right. . ." the battered Saiyan smiled weakly before adding, "Though if I don't get to Whis quickly, I feel like I'm heading straight to Otherworld early."
Gogeta chuckled at the small comment though he could tell he wasn't joking on that part. His life-force was slipping little by little to which it was amazing for him to be even conscious right now. As that thought passed, Zugo decided it was about his time to take his leave as he walked over towards Gohan's direction without warning, "It's settled then, I'll leave Kuzuku to you. . .uh. . ."
"Gogeta," the fused warrior interrupted.
Zugo nodded and smirked, "Yeah, so I'll be taking Gohan back to his place. Knowing his wife. . .well, she might flip when she sees her husband knocked out cold and battle damaged.
"Heheh . . ." Kuzuku laughed before commenting further, "Sounds like a worried Videl to me. . .see-ngh, you around Zugo. Tel-tell Riley I said hi,"
The Astackian nodded before taking off into the air to go grab the unconscious half-breed, his figure disappearing quickly into the sunset sky. As soon as he left their sights, Gogeta knelt down to lift his Saiyan comrade off the ground with little to no gentleness to it as Kuzuku groaned from the sudden movement. However, he ignored it, believing that it couldn't be that bad as he rested his arms over his shoulder while he searched for Whis's Ki signature. It didn't take him long due to his enhanced senses due to being a fused warrior, his body vanishing from the deserted battlefield.
-Instant Transmission SFX-
In an instant, the Saiyan fusion transported them just a few feet away from the group of onlookers who heard them come in. They all turned, their eyes immediately on the two as Gogeta waved them hello, "Yo, got a special patient here that needs help." He looked over to Whis who simply nodded as Gogeta then began to rest Kuzuku onto his back and allow the angel to do his magic. He took a step back as Whis walked over towards them, his feet only stopping when he was standing over the young Saiyan.
The Angel smirked, "I give you an A for guts but a C for execution. You still have a long way to go, Kuzuku." Kuzuku weakly smiled, his eyes dull and hollow as he could barely see him. His mouth opened, struggling to choke out the words that were meant to reply.
"Yu-yup, I fi-gured. . .as much," he admitted sadly.
"But that's a discussion for another time as I've learned a couple new things about your transformation today. . .," Whis noted before glancing over at Gogeta, "You should be grateful to this. . .fusion. His power was a performance fitting of someone of this stature."
Gogeta smugly smirked, "Why of course, I make sure I get the job done. Though, someone seemed to use the dragon balls to send him somewhere before my Kamehameha could land."
"Oh. . .? It certainly wasn't Frieza. I wonder who could have done that," Whis intrigued, cupping his chin.
"Don't know. . .," Gogeta shrugged before looking up at the sky with a smile, "But whoever it was had good intentions. I just know it."
Whis let out a muse chuckle before turning back his attention to Kuzuku. Wasting no more time, he called forth his angelic staff and hovered the ball over the Saiyans body. There was a small silence until his orb began to glow a greenish-blue color that enveloped his body. Similar to before, he could feel his strength coming back to him while the aches were slowly relieving themselves. It really was something to marvel at but to be expected of an Angel of universe 7. Soon enough, Kuzuku could finally feel enough strength to move as the light shrouding his body began to fade. Hastily, the Saiyan lifted his back off the ground with a slightly surprised look as he looked at his hands front and back.
"Man, I really can't get over how amazing your healing ability is. I didn't think anyone could beat 21 in that category unless they use a senzu bean," Kuzuku complimented before suddenly chuckling into a whisper, "But don't let her know I said that, okay?"
Whis smiled playfully, "I don't know. . .I'll consider if you can sneak me some of her cooking that you keep praising."
"Deal!" Kuzuku chuckled.
As the angel and young Saiyan shared a moment of laughter, the universe 6 Saiyans couldn't help but stare at the fusion along with Bulma. Eventually, their stares caught the Saiyan fusion's attention due to how uncomfortable they were making him.
He raised a questioning eyebrow with a confused look on his face, "What?"
"So. . .uh, what do we call you?" Bulma hesitantly asked.
"Heh, well the Potara fusion is called Vegito so we decided to name ourselves Gogeta this time around," Gogeta replied.
"Gogeta. . .I'm not gonna lie, that really does have a nice ring to it-" Lottus admitted until he was cut off by Caulifla's gleaming eyes.
She leaned forward to get a closer look at the fused warrior, her sudden action causing him to step back a bit as she stared at him like a child looking at a brand-new toy, "Whoa, so this is that meta-whatever fusion. Hey, Kale, what do you think we will be called when we fuse that way? I bet we will be way cooler."
Kale timidly muttered, unsure on how to answer her question, "Umm. . .well sis. I think-"
"Hmph, you got too many years to go in order to reach this level of power," Gogeta interrupted, his arms folding with confidence, "Especially since as of right now, I think I can go toe to toe with Jiren without learning Ultra Instinct! In fact, I think I'll even-!"
Before he could finish that sentence, the fused warrior's body began to glow before it separated into the two beings that made up his existence. The Saiyan prince and the Saiyan raised on Earth were now standing there confused, their clothes tattered and ripped all over while Caulifla cackled loudly at what had happened.
"Hahahahahahah! Yup, definitely can go toe to toe with Jiren all right. . .FOR THIRTY MINUTES!" Caulifla clutched her gut from trying to hold back her laughter.
Vegeta growled as he could feel a vein popping from his forehead, "You. . .little. . .twerp. Maybe you need some royal discipline because Kolard clearly isn't doing a good job!"
"Hey, take it easy, Vegeta. Heheh!" Goku grinned, "We won and everyone is now safe so let's call it a day. I'm tired and I kinda wanna take a bath!"
The Saiyan prince shot him a glare, as Caulifla's laughter settled down a bit while Kale rubbed her back in hopes to help with the pain of laughing too hard. He frowned, "That's something rare for you to say, Kakarot."
"What can I say, that fight was one of the toughest we had. I didn't think anything would come close to Jiren levels of hard," Goku admitted.
"Hmph," Vegeta mused before walking past him towards his wife, "Even so, mark my words I'll surpass even that power soon enough. For now, it's time to head home. Bulma, you can summon the ship from your weird sorcery."
The blue haired scientist rolled her eyes, "We've been over this, Vegeta. It's not magic. But, whatever, as my prince wishes, I guess." She reached into her pocket before taking out the capsule that had a CC insignia labeled on it. Wasting no time, she pressed the button on top before tossing it to the ground, the capsule bursting into smoke in order to reveal the yellow jet they used to get here.
"Lottus, Cabba, you better get your asses on this ship or there will be no sleep for you tonight!" the universe 7 prince warned as he entered through the open door along with his wife.
Both of the male Saiyans felt their bodies shiver at the threat. Mainly because they knew in the back of their minds that he would follow through with. Quickly, they jogged towards the jet though they paused mid-way before turning around. Without a second thought, Cabba raised his hand and began waving them farewell, "Looks like we can't stay around. We'll be taking our leave now."
"Yeah, we'll see you around," Lottus smiled though he couldn't help but notice Caulifla scoffed to the side. He inwardly chuckled before turning to follow Cabba into the ship. Soon enough, the latch closed before the engines of the vehicle began to turn. Before long, the jet began to hover before hastily taking off into the skies above, thus leaving the remaining Saiyans with the Angel.
Goku turned to Kuzuku with a smirk on his face, "I guess this is where we part as well. Chi Chi's probably worried again about where I am at. Knowing her, she's gonna flip when she sees me again like this."
"Heheh, that makes both of us. Anyway, until we meet again, Goku," Kuzuku chuckled.
Responding, Goku nodded before placing his fingers on his forehead in order to focus. In a blink of an eye, he disappeared without leaving a trace behind, presumingly using his instant transmission to get back to his house. Knowing him, he would have probably teleported into some awkward situation without a care in the world. That said, Kuzuku yawned as he was mentally tired from everything that had happened. He most certainly couldn't wait to collapse into his bed as much as his two students here seemed anxious to fall asleep.
"Well, looks like we should go pick up 21 and get some rest. I can teleport you back if you want me to Whis," Kuzuku offered, his attention now on the Angel.
There was a moment of silence as Whis contemplated a bit on the offer until he caught something in his field of vision. He smirked, the familiar Ki approaching fast as it seemed impatient. A Ki that hasn't changed it's texture for as long as he could remember it, "I think I'll pass. Looks like he had enough of waiting for me to come pick him up." Confused, Kuzuku turned around only to finally realize what he meant by that. In a moment, a purplish Ki soared through the air before touching down in front of the small group.
The Ki dispersed, revealing the purple-cat that is widely known to be the God of Destruction that resides and governs all over Universe 7. His garments flowed a bit with the wind as he began walking forward towards Who's who seemed intrigued by his demeanor. However, he seemed to be the only one that noticed as Kuzuku greeted him with a grin.
"Oh, hey Lord Beerus!" Kuzuku smiled, "Guess you got tired of waiting, huh? Sorry, they gave us a way tougher fight than we thought but everything turned out well. Man, I sure wish you were there to see it."
Uncharastically, Beerus seemed to remain impassive by his words. He simply continued to tread forward and walk past the Saiyan who was left in confusion. Before long, the God of Destruction stopped by his Angel's side before turning to glance back at the Saiyan who was staring at him with a raised eyebrow. He smirked, "I bet it was. . .keep that sort of training up then who knows how strong you'll become."
The primal warrior blinked a bit before smiling at the out-of-the-blue encouragement, "Sure thing, we'll get much, much stronger. Just you wait." Hearing that, Beerus chuckled inwardly before turning away without much of an immediate response. The action itself made Whis slightly more interested in his lord's behavior to which he'll most likely ask later in private. Wasting no time, the Angel held his staff out before tapping the ground, the spiraling white yet colorful Ki wrapping around the two divine beings of Universe 7. In mere seconds, the light then became a pillar that shot into the sky as the two stood there in the center, waiting to be transported back to their planet.
However, Beerus twisted his body slightly back to the Saiyan, his brain recalling one last thing, "Oh, and before I forget. Your wife is already waiting for you at home."
"Ah, I see. Thanks for the info, Lord Beerus," Kuzuku said, before the Angel and his God were rocketed into the sky as the light diminished.
The remnants of the energy particles flowed down upon the three of them like snow as they stared at the stars above. Kuzuku couldn't help but marvel at the small light show as he sometimes forgets that the world he lives in comes with small surprises at the end of a rough road. He smirked, the wind blowing against his face and swaying his hair along with it as the orange in the sky was almost diminished into the calm night. Seeing this, he turned to his pupils who were lost in a trance by the small light show before they noticed him staring at them. Caulifla nearly jumped out of her skin while Kale couldn't help but blush and divert her eyes. Though, Kuzuku only chuckled and grinned widely.
"Ready to go home!?" He chirped.
It took a few minutes for them to process what he said before nodding with smiles on their faces, the two female Saiyans replying with cheerfulness laced in their voice, "Yes!"
(Around The Same Time, At The Ayoma Residence Near Mount Pao. . .)
The sky had finally gotten dark with the full moon shining from above. Fresh air blew against the calm grass as the waters seemed to be relatively calm tonight. From afar resided the Ayoma family household who's lights were on and shining through the windows as 21 sat patiently on the couch waiting for her husband to return. She had just got done leaving Bulla with Trunks which gave her an excuse to return early. She twiddled with her thumbs to pass the time since she could barely get her mind off the main issue at hand. The issue that became, "How am I going to tell him. . .?"
It wasn't like she was against it and that Kuzuku would leave her if he found out but it was most certainly something that was planned. Obviously, there were times in the past where couples and even married ones would go separate ways when something like this occurred simply due to them not being on the same wavelength to conceive one of their own. But she knew at heart that her Saiyan husband was simply far too kind hearted to let that get to him. Knowing this, she knew deep down that she was simply just nervous to reveal something so big: even to the one that she loves so much.
21 sighed and groaned, as she rested her cheeks on her hands, "What am I thinking? I'm making this a big deal. I'll just tell Kuzuku and then everything should go from there." With that revolution in mind, she clenched her fist and slightly pumped them as she found new found confidence after overthinking it for the whole day. However, that excitement was short-lived by the sudden tap of the shoulder. She froze, her head turning slowly only to see the same face she wakes up to every morning.
"Uh. . .tell me what?" Kuzuku muttered.
"Ku-Kuzuku!" 21 yelped jumping from the couch she was sitting on to face him completely. She was completely surprised as Kale and Caulifla began walking from behind the Saiyan, "When did you get here? How much did you hear!? Are you okay! Do you need healing-!?"
Kuzuku waved his hand in a nervous chuckled, "Whoa there, calm down. I came through the front door though you seemed too caught up in your thoughts that you didn't notice me walk in so I didn't want to disturb you. Really, I only heard you saying something about telling me something, that's it. Oh and you don't have to worry about my injuries, Whis healed me right away."
"Oh. . .I see," 21 muttered, her eyes staring as if she were a deer caught in headlights.
The Saiyan musely smiled at her reaction before noticing the female Saiyan pair slamming onto the other couch face first. For a moment, he thought about saying something but he retracted that thought when he heard the soft snores that escape their lips. The sight itself made him laugh a bit as the married couple watched them sleep practically on top of each other with Caulifla holding Kale close to her like a stuffed animal, "Well, they're going to be out like a light till tomorrow so it looks like we don't have to worry about privacy. But anyways, wanna have that chat on the roof? The stars are out tonight since the clouds are clear."
"Al-alright. . .," 21 timidly accepted.
For a moment, the Saiyan felt his face lit up as he gently clasped her hand before motioning her outside. As they reached the door, Kuzuku made sure to grab one of the blankets resting on the hook before exiting his home and into the nightly outside. The stars were shining from above, the scene perfect for a nightly time on the roof as the married couple flew up to the top of their cabin. Their feet gently tapped the surface of the roof before Kuzuku opened up the blanket wide enough to enveloped the two before they sat down to watch the sky above.
Then. . .there was silence. Neither of them said a word at the marvelous sight under the full moon that rested in the center of the starry night, it's luminance shining down upon them. 21 couldn't help but blush at the feeling of being so close to him as well as the tension brewing. She felt like her heart was pounding in her chest with her thoughts in a jumble. However, she was suddenly snapped out of her trance by the feeling of Kuzuku's tail wrapping around her waist, consequently pulling her closer as he continued to stare up at the moon. He smiled slightly, the wind blowing against his face as he thought back for a moment. Honestly, 21 couldn't help but stare at his expression that made her skip a beat.
"Man, it sure is a pretty night isn't it. Even the moon is shining as bright as the stars in the sky, " Kuzuku noted, his head then turning to his wife's azure eyes with a smirk, "Don't you think so as well. . .?"
21 giggled a bit after a short pause, "Why of course. If I'm being honest, it's one of the perks when living by such an open yet secluded place. I remember wanting to come to your house just to see it myself."
"Really now? Are you sure that you simply wanted to see me all those times back then but just chickened out?" Kuzuku teased slyly.
"Wh-what? Well. . .it was only a few times but really, I do admire the view you get to see everyday," 21 admitted.
The Saiyan nodded, his mischievous snicker nearly falling deaf to her ears until he looked back at the moon. He smiled, "Hey, 21?"
"Hmm?" she muffled, her eyes looking down unconsciously.
"Do you think. . .well, that's when we confessed our feelings. That the moon was like this amongst the stars?" Kuzuku asked.
The majin scientist let out a mused hum, "What's making you bring that up now? Someone's being a bit sentimental now? Kuzuku inherently chuckled at the small playfulness in her voice.
"Hahahahah, maybe I am!" Kuzuku exclaimed, his toothy grin wide for the world to see before returning back to a nostalgic look, "Well. . .it's just something to dwell on I guess. To think that we came together under a sky like this really makes it feel even more special. Perhaps I'm just digging too deep into it but it really just made me think back then. My love for you really has grown, hasn't it?"
Hearing that made her flush, her voice timid and nearly silent at the question, "I mean. . .it could be the same about my love for you as well, Kuzuku. . ." The Saiyan nodded in understanding where she was coming from.
"Likewise. . .now, that said: what was it that you wanted to tell me?" Kuzuku asked, his tone calm and inviting.
The majin scientist twitched from where she sat, her hands growing sweating as she could feel Kuzuku gaze on her despite him only looking at her from his peripherals. She gulped her cowardness down after running through her lines before courageously grasping his hands to gain his full attention. In response, Kuzuku's head turned to look down at her nervous expression, her blush brighter than red as she pulled his hand to her stomach. He was confused. . .unsure as to what she was trying to insinuate. Mentally, 21 knew that Kuzuku was about as dense as a rock when it comes to things like this and that he's more of a straightforward person than anything. Her lips pursed as she was about to utter the words she kept locked for the entire day. The words that she wanted to tell him when she found out. The words that were so easy to say but so hard to let out. . .
"Kuzuku. . ." 21 murmured, "I have something really important to tell you. . ."
The Saiyan raised a question eyebrow, his only reply being, "What could possibly be so important. . .?" There it was, her golden opportunity given to her by whatever mythical god existed throughout the multiverse. She breathed inward and exhaled to a timid yet shining smile, her blue eyes glistening almost to the point Kuzuku felt his heart jump out of his chest. But. . .the words that were meant to be the one to cause that to happen.
"I'm pregnant. . ."
There it was, the faithful words that sent him over the edge. He couldn't see it for himself but he was probably sure that his face had frozen in shock from the reveal as his mind went through numerous flashbacks. The loneliness that he felt back when he was a child sitting on the bench residing next to the orphanage door as his friends were whisk away by a pair of adults that held their hands. Their smiling faces that beamed with the sun as they exited the gates with their new family while he sat under the shade with a blank expression. He knew what that feeling was though he was sure that he diminished it when he met everyone on Earth. However, hearing that caused it to resurface one last time, his eyes beginning to slowly water.
Unbeknownst to him, 21 was starting to worry as this sort of reaction was the last thing that she would see as only two, long tears ran down his cheek, "Kuzuku. . .are you okay? I didn't expect it to make you-Mphm!" Before she realized it, her words were silenced as her lips were captured by an abrupt, deep kiss from her husband. She was caught off guard, her eyes widening before settling into the passionate kiss itself. The moment was simply too good to let her other thoughts in as she deepened the kiss to reciprocate the feeling. Though, after what felt like an eternity in their own words, the two separated as the Saiyan buried her face into her chest while his chin rested on her head.
"Heh. . ." Kuzuku choked, his smile creeping onto his face, "That really is something important, huh? Way to drop a bombshell after I nearly died earlier."
"Sorry. . ., I really do have sucky timing after all," 21 quietly giggled.
He chuckled, his tears still running down his face to which if Vegeta were there he'd be shocked. It's rare for any Saiyan to cry even if they were in the worst pain imaginable. However, these tears were only described as joy, "Regardless. . .this is great news for the both of us. Thank you, 21. . ." The majin scientist closed her eyes, as she was getting quite too comfortable in his hold.
"You're welcome. . .Kuzuku. . ." 21 whispered. Before they realized it, the married couple after coming to terms with the sudden news passed out along with the rest of the Z-fighters, their breathing serene and soft as the sky above revealed to have a single shooting star pass by. . .
(With Beerus and Whis, At An Unknown Part Of The Universe, Beerus Planet. . .)
Beerus's planet had always been one of the quietest places since its creation. And since then, it's housed many Gods of Destructions that have come and gone with time, each one being hand picked by Whis himself. However, none were as interesting as his current master as the two watched the clusters that split the horizon. The Angel waited patiently for what his lord had to say as the god sat on the ledge of his palace as the winds blew against his fur. He was in deep thought, his mind seemingly lost in thought at what he was just told. After some time, the divine, calm silence that filled the air was finally vanquished as Beerus slowly opened his eyes.
"So. . .that's what happened, Whis?" He muttered.
The Angel nodded, his reply short and quick, "Yes, Lord Beerus. . ."
"I see. . ." Beerus muttered, his feet suddenly standing him up straight without further words needed. He stared out into the distance, his garment rustling around his neck as he came to a conclusion. For once, the Angel was unsure what his master was thinking. Out of all his years, he's never been so distant in his entire time spent with him. The two always had a good master and pupil relationship. Even in the beginnings when Beerus still expressed his lack of motivation. However, this time around, something seemed different. Suddenly, Beerus raised his head upward a bit, his facial expression impassive, "These Saiyans really are something. I'd never expect that they would become this powerful in such a short amount of time. First it was Goku, then Vegeta along with that boy wonder Kuzuku, and now we have another one who has risen past them. . .who knows how far they can go."
The sudden explanation piqued Whis's interest, his smile somewhat insinuating that he was picking up on Beerus's thoughts, "Oh my. . .Lord Beerus, could it be that you are starting to feel threatened?" In response, he let out a muse huff.
"Hmph, don't jump the gun just yet, they are still not even close to my full power," Beerus assured, though he continued with a bit more seriousness as the amused feeling vanished, "It's just that, at the rate they are going, it won't be much longer. . How long do you think, Whis? A decade? A year? Or perhaps in only a couple of months? When will they become strong enough to surpass me?"
Thinking for a moment, the Angel cupped his chin before replying, "Honestly, that part seems to be unpredictable. But forgive me for asking, why does this cross your mind, Lord Beerus?" The god of destruction then turned to his attendant, his eyes showing just how serious he was despite the angel's smile. Whis couldn't recall a time when he's seen Beerus show a face like this, a face that shows some form of desire: a determination to achieve something like no other.
"Watching them grow showed me something. It showed me that I've been lazy and overconfident for far too long. For millions of years of being revered as the strongest god of destruction, one that could become the strongest of that status in history: not once think about training to further increase my power. Simply because there was no real opponent to test my strength against that weren't Angels." Beerus explained, before adding, "The God of Destruction have all gotten quite cocky, don't you think. None of us expected for a mortal like Jiren to exist. None of us expected a mortal like Goku to achieve and perfect Ultra Instinct. None of us expected his son to achieve a form with Ki comparable to a Kai's. Nor did we expect Vegeta to surpass his limits along with Kuzuku. The misconception that mortals will never reach the power of Gods of Destruction were shattered right in that tournament. Now that reality has hit me in the face, I think it's time for me to wake up unlike the rest of them. . ."
Whis felt slightly proud at where he was going with this, "That's an interesting way of thinking. It sure does separate you from your fellow gods. So. . .what will you do?"
Beerus smirked, his chuckling being muffled by his lips as he could only think of one place in mind, "Whis, I'll be taking a leave of absence. I won't be back for who knows how long but don't tell the Saiyans or the other Gods of Destruction and Angels where I went. Only Zeno and the Grand Priest should know."
"Ho? This is so sudden, where are you going?" Whis asked.
"Well, now that I think about it, perhaps Champa will probably figure it out despite it being a wasteland now," Beerus chuckled before revealing the location to him, "I'll be returning to Anublu. . ."
Whis's eyes widened with slight surprise, "Anublu? Why are you going there to-"
"Hmph, isn't it obvious? You sorta already know the answer from deducing what I said so there is no need to ask further questions, Whis," Beerus interrupted with the Angel left appalled for a moment. Though it quickly turned into a smile as his lord uttered the words that he'd been hoping to hear, as his right shoulder was now facing Whis while looking at him, "Wouldn't it be fitting to start training again on the very planet you grew-up in?"
Hearing those faithful words sent shivers down the Angels spine, his smile being unable to be contained as it widened into a grin. Atlas, his lord will finally reach it. . .his potential that he saw in him eons ago will finally be realized. However, there was only one question left as Whis's tone was laced with excitement that was being held back by his sophisticated nature, "Yes, that does sound wonderful Lord Beerus. But. . .what for?"
The God of Destruction was silent, as he stood upon the surface of his palace's ledge. The sky began to become slightly orange once more, though this time instead of the setting sun was the faint sign of it's resurface. He then turned, his eyes looking straight into the orange horizon of the new day before smirking, "To prepare for the upcoming dawn of a new era of course. . ."
(Back On Planet Earth, At The Sons House Early In The Morning. . .)
"Alright, I'll be off! I'll be sure Goten gets back before noon!" Goku assured, his hands waving bye to his wife while Goten was anxious to leave. Despite being completely battered yesterday, the Saiyan actually agreed to take his youngest son for training with his grandparent in another world.
Chi Chi sighed, handing him the box lunch she made for the both of them, "You better but make sure Goten doesn't overdo it."
"Sure thing and thanks for the lunch," Goku chirped, his hands adjusting the belt keeping his pants together, before looking down at Goten, "You ready, little buddy?"
Goten nodded, "Yeah, and I'm not little no more! Just wait, I'll be stronger than you one day!" Goku chuckled, his hand resting proudly on his son's shoulder while pressing his fingers on his forehead.
"I bet you will, let's go!" the hero of Earth exclaimed.
In an instant, the two teleported before Chi Chi's very eyes, leaving her to do her house chores as it was one of the many duties she had to uphold as a Saiyan's wife. She sighed, mentally groaning at how lenient she was being lately but she knew it couldn't be so bad. I mean, Gohan trained with Goku around his age and he turned out fine so what's to say Goten won't be the same. Knowing that, she mentally felt energized as she placed her hands on her hips to start the day, "Well, time to get the laundry done and ready to dry before I start cooking lunch. I think some nice roasted beef that I bought would do." With that said, she turned back inside her home without a second thought.
(Now At Capsule Corp Home Of The Brief Family, Vegeta And His Trainees. . .)
The streets were vacant as the Capsule Corp's outdoor gravity room was on for full display as the bluish-white light crept through the hatch. From outside, you could hear the groans of strenuous workouts echoing from the interior walls as the Saiyan prince was upside down using one-hand alongside Lottus and Cabba while Trunks worked on his own.
"329! Come on, if this is all you two can handle then you'll stay as pathetically useless as you were before! Pick up the pace!" Vegeta spat, his patients running low today due to how much motivation he was feeling.
Lottus groaned before smirking with odd confidence, "Don't worry about us, we're far from finished from something like this. We've endured a lot worse!"
"Yeah, like Lottus said, we'll work twice as hard compared to before! 312!" Cabba claimed before going in for another rep.
Vegeta smirked, his hand pushing down before lifting himself back up without focusing on it, "330! Well then, show me your grit then!" Just as he said that, the three Saiyans began to pick up the pace, their goal aiming for a thousand hand-stand pushups before moving onto the next drill.
On the other hand, Trunks was still boxing under the gravity that his father set the room to while using modified dumbbells to help. He was moving fast, his strikes focused on precision and mimicking his father's style of fighting greeting. Despite this, his arms were already feeling numb though one thought kept him going, "Just watch, I'll become someone you'll be proud of dad! But I'll do it my own way!"
As he spun around into a roundhouse kick, a certain blue haired scientist along with a young girl around Trunks' age watched from outside. Bulma smiled as she took a sip of her coffee, "Well, look at the boys go. They really are fired up early, don't you think, Mai?"
"Yeah, though I do wish Trunks would finish up soon. . ." Mai murmured.
Hearing this, Bulma slyly grinned at the wishfulness, "Oooh? Does someone have a crush on my little boy?"
"Wh-what!? No, he just promised to take me to this skating ring for the first time," Mai stuttered.
The reaction alone earned Bulma some small giggles though they were short as she had things to attend to as well. She smiled, sipping her coffee once more before excusing herself, "Oh well, you'll come around eventually. Now, I got to tend to Bulla's breakfast. She's an early riser like her father and big brother. Feel free to join me if you get tired of watching Trunks's sweaty tank-top."
She blushed as Bulma began walking back towards the house before exclaiming, "I told you it's not like that!"
(Meanwhile, Now By Mount Pao, Ayoma Residence With Kuzuku. . .)
The orange sun slowly began to paint the skies with it's bright orange colors as the rays illuminated the grassy area surrounding the Ayoma household. The sky was starting to become partly blue with the rays of the sun itself shining down on the Saiyan who seemed unconscious on the roof. Eventually, he began to stir in his sleep before his eyes fluttered a bit from one of the rays of light hitting him dead in the face. His vision was foggy for a moment, confused as to why he was currently outside on his roof as memories began to flood back into his head. After realizing it, he looked down to see his sleeping wife burying her head into his chest. She snuggled and even let out a satisfying gasp as she rested in his arms. Seeing this made his heart flutter until his attention was diverted from what was in front of him. He couldn't help but notice it, the sight something so marvelous that he could only describe it in one word.
"Amazing. . ." He muttered. The sun was shining bright as it was half-way through the horizon with the sky being mixed with blue and orange lights. The clouds were moving towards them while the trees from afar were the only thing that wasn't fully enveloped by the radiance. The Saiyan couldn't help but smile at the wondrous sight with the wind blowing against his face, "That's right. . .It's tomorrow. . .A brand new day with new things to experience. Thinking about it now, today is a collectiveness from all the things we've experienced in the past. Every pain, every sorrow, every joy, happiness, and tears that were forged. . .it still exists. But it's up to us to bear with it all and overcome it: the good and the bad. That way, we can become stronger in the end so we can prepare for tomorrow."
As that thought passed, he raised his head to look at the brighted clouds and muttered, "This is only the beginning. We'll move forward and live our lives the way we want to with no regrets. It all starts today!"
With that said, he sat in silence, his eyes watching the clouds since he didn't want to wake 21 up just yet. However, it seemed like he didn't have much of a choice. Suddenly, he caught something in his field of view. At first, he didn't think much of it until it was getting closer. . .and closer. Almost too close for his comfort. His smile was still on his face but it was evident that he was starting to grow nervous as the unknown object approached his house faster and faster until . . .
*BOOOOOOOOOM!*
The figure crashed directly into his front lawn at full speed, the shockwave vibrating the area so much that 21 nearly jumped out of Kuzuku's arms. Her face seemed completely surprised in an almost hilarious way but who could blame her? If anyone had something fall out of the sky and impact the ground near their property out of nowhere then there is a high chance they'll catch a heart attack, "Wh-what!? What's going on!?"
"Do-don't know, but this sure is one hell of a way to start tomorrow. . ." Kuzuku chuckled weakly. He was most certainly surprised as well though he was slightly wondering if this was because he somehow jinxed himself or not. Before long, Caulifla and Kale burst out of the house at full speed, the two basically wearing the same clothes as yesterday with disheveled hair from basically leaping off the couch immediately.
Caulifla snarled loudly, her morning temper unshackled by any form of mannerism, "Who the hell dares disturb my sleep! Step forward, I'll kill you now!" Sitting on top of the roof, Kuzuku could swear that her tone mimicked more of a demonic entity than a Saiyan girl for a moment. He had to make a mental note not to piss her off otherwise he might be in for it.
That aside, the smoke was slowly beginning to clear up: revealing a round spaceship with jet wings on the side that were brown in color with gold outlining. The passenger patch seemed to be covered with smoke, most likely because of overheating in it's functions as whoever was driving it had to open the hatch to get some fresh air in. The married couple along with the female Saiyan duo started closely to see who it was, their eyes trying their best to peer through the smoke before it unraveled. Though, this was quickly proven useless since the figure began swiping the smoke away while coughing out the dust particles that were logged in its throat.
In time, the smoke completely cleared, revealing the newcomer from the skies entirely. He had moderately spiky, dark silver hair with two bangs framing the side of his face while spiky locks seemed to cover most of his forehead as it only parted ways towards the left side of his face. His hair was long enough so that it could be tied into a thin low-ponytail all the way down to his mid-back. From the looks of it, the young looking man seemed to sport a reddish-brown sleeveless vest thus revealing his lean, muscular frame with several buckles sticking out along with some matching pants that were held up by what seemed to be a worn and torn, dark brown tiger pattern pelt made of cloth.
"Man. . .I really did it this time. . .ugh," He complained before glancing at his surroundings. The crater wasn't huge to say the least which was surprising. But, that didn't disregard the fact that he had crashed and landed on someone's property out of nowhere. Eventually, he caught notice of the stares he was getting, his light crimson-red eyes that resembled more of a dragon due to it's slitted pupils widening at the sight. They all were silent, unsure on how to proceed from there since everything was so sudden. Though, without much thought, the silence was broken as the mysterious person greeted with a grin, "Hey there, the name's Ryo Kenga~!"
A/N: With Broly defeated and Frieza's plan foiled once more, trouble has finally left the Earth alone once again. But Beerus is leaving without warning? And what about the new arrival of a mysterious young man? Is he a friend or a future foe? All could only be answered in the upcoming future of the start of Dragon Ball Tenkai! Hahah, anyways, sorry this took a long time, I was busy with personal things. Now about this chapter. Again, I basically wanted this to be the true introductory chapter to the main story. Furthermore, I'd like to emphasize that Dragon Ball Tenkai DIVERGES away from the main continuity. Meaning, no Granolah or Moro arcs will be included. Mostly everything from here on out is original ideas incorporated by yours truly. That said, thanks for reading and until we meet again!
