I enjoyed my break and the next one will be on the week of Easter. I said I was going to put Zero's Life on hold this week for a new one-shot series and here you go, this is a Toradora one-shot series, decent anime, recommend at least giving it a watch, it's funny and has some moments in it where it'll feel like it's punching you in the gut, many of these will be centered around Taiga and Ryuuji, with some others involving some of the other main cast.

These one-shots will be rated between T and M, depending on what happens in them, some will be slightly AU, some might contain character bashing, both of which will receive some type of warning in the beginning of them. This one will be slightly AU…enjoy.

Taiga and Ryuuji entered the beach house and dropped their bags before Taiga inhaled slowly and looked up at Ryuuji, "Well, here we are," the blue-haired young man hummed and nodded, "Ryuuji, I've been meaning to ask you…why didn't you tell me it was you that saved me that day?"

"Taiga, I don't think-"

"I want to know why you and Kitamura allowed me to believe he was the one that saved me that day…and why did you let Minori tell me instead?" Taiga demanded and Ryuuji looked away as he rubbed the back of his head, "Ryuuji, we're running away together, we're eloping, I'd like to know why you couldn't tell me the truth about-"

"You…you said those things, and you thought you were talking to Kitamura, so I let you believe that so you wouldn't feel embarrassed about everything that you've said to me, and I asked Kitamura if he can play along with the lie so you wouldn't have to worry about it, but I truly didn't think Kushieda would do that, but then again, she's been straightforward about everything, no matter what,"

"So…you only lied to…to keep me from embarrassing myself?" Ryuuji looked down at her and slowly nodded, "But…while you and Minori were chasing after me, she confessed and…and you seemed like you didn't care. I thought the whole point to our plan was to help each other out,"

"Trust me, if it were any other day, I'd be overjoyed, but with everything we've been through…I just…I couldn't leave you like that," Taiga hummed before the sound of her stomach growling filled the air and her eyes widened. Ryuuji chuckled and patted the top of her head, "We've been traveling all day. Why don't you take a warm shower and I'll make us some dinner?"

"Sweet and sour curry," Ryuuji hummed and nodded before Taiga picked her bag up and began walking towards the stairs.

The two young adults sat on the floor in one of the rooms and watched as snow lightly fell from the night sky. Taiga slightly smiled as she rested her head on Ryuuji's shoulder and Ryuuji looked down in confusion only to see Taiga nuzzle closer to him as she closed her eyes and her breathing evened out. Taking a deep breath, Ryuuji wrapped an arm around her and held her close as he closed his eyes and fell asleep.

Well…here's the first one-shot in this…well…enjoy.
