A/N: So, I have a friend who looks and acts exactly like Monique. And so I've ended up writing a lot of fics about Monique for no real reason. This is one of them. It takes place after The Gargoyle Club, but before Grotesque Game. Please enjoy and review.

Chapter One
Andre hated it when Monique came over.
He supposed it wasn't her fault. She and Colette were roommates, after all. Monique had just as much a right to spend half her time at the Chevalier Manor as Damien did.
But still. Andre didn't really like Monique. He didn't want her in his house.
Andre was reminded of this fact one day when he walked into one of the Chevaliers' guest rooms and found Monique reading on the bed.
Andre froze in his tracks, staring at her for a moment. "Monique… what are you doing in here?"
The girl looked up from her book. "Waiting for Colette to come back with our popcorn. Psych's on in a few minutes."
She went back to her book, ignoring Andre.
Andre rolled his eyes and closed the door behind him, making his way towards the mini-fridge on the other side of the room, the only reason he'd come in there in the first place.
Monique looked up and watched him curiously. "You can't get enough food from the main fridge? You have to go raiding this one?"
Andre gave her an annoyed look. "No. I'm getting something that we don't have in the main fridge."
Andre opened the fridge and crouched down to look through it.
"What are you looking for?" Monique interrogated.
Andre reached into the back of the fridge and pulled out a Tupperware of black squishy stuff.
"Caviar," he announced, showing it to Monique. "Eden's never had it, so I'm making her try some later."
Monique rolled her eyes. "She's gonna think we're so cliché now. And do you even like caviar?"
"No," Andre admitted. "No one does."
"Then why give it to Eden?" Monique asked.
"Because," Andre replied. "I know no one likes it, and you know no one likes it, but Eden doesn't know no one likes it."
Monique rolled her eyes and went back to her book. "Whatever."
Andre stood up and closed the fridge, Tupperware in hand. He crossed the room and turned the doorknob, but the door didn't open.
Andre frowned and pulled the knob again, but the door didn't budge.
Monique looked up and raised an eyebrow at him. "Andre, what the hell are you doing?"
Andre put the caviar on the floor and gripped the doorknob with both hands, ignoring Monique. He pulled with all his strength, willing the door to open.
It didn't. Instead, the doorknob broke off, clattering to the floor.
"Uh oh," Andre muttered.
Monique slowly stood up, frowning. "What do you mean, 'uh oh?' What did you do?"
"Nothing," Andre protested. "I didn't do anything! Just… the doorknob… broke…"
"What?!" Monique dropped her book and ran over to him. She pushed on the knobless door as hard as she could, but it still didn't open. Andre joined her, pushing against the door with all their strength combined. It stayed closed.
Andre picked up the doorknob and tried to fit it back onto the door. The knob fell from its place the moment Andre let go.
Growing desperate now, Monique started banging on the door, shouting, "Colette! Colette, help!"
"Sorel!" Andre added, beating the door with his fists. "Sorel! Damien!"
After twenty minutes of committing door abuse, Andre and Monique gave up and slid down the door onto the floor, exhausted.
"That's it," Andre decided. "We're trapped."
