My Hero Academia: Entreri Gaiden
Chapter one: Fuyuki's exile
The struggles of the generation spearheaded by UA High's 'legendary year' are now all in the past, and things were looking relatively peaceful. It was a peace that had not been enjoyed since the time in which the long retired pro hero and former Symbol of Peace, All Might, was still an active pro hero. Fittingly, this new and current era of peace was led by the new Symbol of Peace and successor to All Might, Izuku Midoriya, also known by his hero alias of Deku.
Izuku, a member of UA High's 'legendary year', became a top ten pro hero in the first rankings list on the Hero Billboard Charts after his graduation from UA, then a year later rose to the number one spot, a position that he holds to this day. Many have tried aiming for the throne that Deku occupied, most notably Katsuki Bakugo aka Dynamight, but all efforts had failed.
As of this moment, the person who is closest to beating Izuku for the number one spot is his old classmate Shoto Todoroki, who is currently the number two hero. However, the son of the disgraced former pro hero Endeavor is fine where he is; if he does somehow get Izuku's spot on the charts then that would be neat, but he's not aiming for the top. Ambition like that is what had ultimately led to his father being disgraced.
Aiming for Izuku's spot had also screwed others over in varying ways. Just look at Bakugo.
If anything, one thing that Todoroki does want is to be a good father to his son. Indeed, many of those from UA High's 'legendary year', mostly with each other, now have high school age kids. Todoroki is one such example as he and his wife Reiko, the pro hero Emily, have a son that they named after Todoroki's brother Toya. Toya looked like his father, save for having his mother's eyes, and mostly white hair with splots of red (like his aunt Fuyumi). For Toya's quirk, it's a mix of his mom's quirk and the ice half of his dad's quirk.
There were many other kids like Toya, the spawn of heroes from UA's 'legendary year'. However, the most stand out example would have to be Fuyuki Midoriya, the son of pro heroes Deku and Uravity. Fuyuki had a lot of focus, given that he's the son of the current number one hero. Izuku has been the number one since before Fuyuki's conception even. That being said, Fuyuki had a lot to live up to, not that he was bothered by it.
Appearance wise, Fuyuki looked just like Izuku when he was Fuyuki's age; the only differences were that Fuyuki had his mom's hair color and eye color. Speaking of Uravity, or as she is also known Ochaco Midoriya, Fuyuki ended up developing the same quirk as her. Fuyuki was noted to be inately better than his mom when she was his age; her weight limit for her gravity quirk at that time was three tons, but Fuyuki's limit was currently at six tons.
Fuyuki was looking forward to another day of lessons at UA high, the most prominent hero academy in Japan and the very school that his parents had graduated from. He had a legacy to live up to, attending the same school that made his parents, made so many notable pro heroes. But he was determined to succeed here. He wanted to make his parents proud of him, and he would be succeeding there.
...Fate would have different plans, however.
Fuyuki had reached his classroom, class 1-A. It was the very same heroics homeroom that his parents were first in when they were at UA, again making Fuyuki's heart swell with pride. The son of Deku opened the door and walked on in, seeing many familiar faces, even being greeted by those who he personally knew as close friends.
First was Toya Todoroki, that white hair with red splots in it unmistakable; Toya even wore his hair in the same style his mother Reiko wore hers, the bangs covering one of his eyes. Next was Samidare Tokoyami, the son of pro heroes Tsukuyomi and Froppy. Named after his uncle on his mom's side, Samidare looked like his namesake, save for having black hair and his dad's eyes.
Next was Aizawa Shinso, the son of the pro hero Hitoshi Shinso (Fuyuki for some odd reason couldn't remember Hitoshi's hero name at that moment). Aizawa was named after his father's mentor, Shouta Aizawa, the former homeroom teacher of class 1-A. Aizawa Shinso looked like his dad Hitoshi, except he styled his hair to look like what his namesake had. Aizawa also had cat ears rather than normal human ears, and a meter-long cat tail.
Finally there was Fuyuki's last immediate friend, Tengoh Iida, son of the pro hero Ingenium. Tengoh looked like slightly more slender version or his dad Tenya (who did have some muscle), but Tengoh's hair was slightly longer and light vibrant green, and Tengoh had a slightly more relaxed air than his dad.
"How are you all doing, guys?" Fuyuki asked in greeting as he was met up by his friends.
"We ran into some of those friendly third years again," Tengoh said, "You know, that group of six boys who all idolize Red Riot?" Tengoh jerked a thumb at Samidare. "Samidare here and I saw two of the six pull a bully away from Komaru, who was being picked on by said bully."
Fuyuki let out a worried gasp as he turned to look around in class. After a few seconds, Fuyuki turned back to face his friends. "...Where's Komaru now?"
"Over in Principal Sekijiro's office," Toya explained, "He's giving his side of what happened while the two third years keep an eye on him." Toya let out an amused smirk. "...Methinks that the bully won't be all that happy for having tried to pick on Komaru."
"Principal Sekijiro has a very low tolerance for indecent behavior such as bullying," Aizawa said, "He'll probably give the second year gen ed course boy a very harsh punishment if he feels the homeroom teacher of class 2-C isn't strict enough on said bully."
Fuyuki nodded in agreement; Sekijiro Kan, otherwise known as Vlad King, took over as principal of UA a few years before Fuyuki started attending because the prior principal, Nezu, had to step down for health reasons related to his weakening legs. However, Nezu still retains a lot of pull in UA, and semi-unofficially serves as an advisor to his replacement Sekijiro. Nowadays, Nezu puts his focus on nurturing bright young minds that spark his intellectual interests.
As Fuyuki was wondering if Komaru would show up at all, his attention was grabbed by him and his friends hearing a familiar female voice call out, "This is fucking dumb!" The boys looked over and saw the female classmate in question. She was very much familiar to the boys, even more so to Fuyuki, and for good reason.
Inko Bakugo, the daughter of pro heroes Dynamight and Rocketti. She had long spiky ash blonde hair, a pair of lyre-shaped horns growing out of her head, hooves for feet rather than actual feet, and a well-toned slender body. Inko had her dad's eyes, but all other facial features came from her mom. Inko was a girl who Fuyuki was very familiar with, given that they were actually cousins.
It's true. A few months before the 'legendary year' graduated from UA, Dynamight's biological mother, Mitsuki, was killed along with eleven other civilians in an attack at an open air market launched by a fairly large group of thugs. This shook Dynamight, as well as his father Masaru. It would be quite some time before Masaru was able to get over the passing of his first wife.
First wife because, after recovering from the emotional loss, Masaru soon began a relationship with Inko Midoriya, the mother of Deku and grandmother of Fuyuki although this was some time before Fuyuki was born. It was convenient as Inko had actually been a widow, her first husband Hisashi dying while traveling abroad for his job; he had been caught in a collapsing building from what Inko had been told on the matter.
A few months after they began dating, Masaru and Inko got engaged, and six months after that they got married. This made Izuku and Bakugo step-brothers; if one wanted to be technical, then Fuyuki and Inko (Bakugo) were actually step-cousins, but who bothered keeping track of all of that technicality business. But yeah, Fuyuki and Inko were cousins; Dynamight, having become related to the Midoriyas, decided to name his daughter after his step-mother, in the hopes that she'd have a similar temperament.
No, she took after him mostly.
"Inko is probably annoyed that Komaru is being held up," Fuyuki whispered to his friends, "I got it from Uncle Katsuki and Aunt Pony that Inko is rather protective of Komaru."
"Well her dad and Komaru's dad are close friends," Tengoh pointed out, "It would make sense that Inko would care about Komaru. Hell, she'd probably be annoyed over Marley and Ragna being held up as well."
Fuyuki merely shrugged. "Well she'd be annoyed, yes, but Inko wouldn't care as much about Marley and Ragna being held up." The boys looked on to see Inko as she continued to rage, being a very stark contrast to the woman she was named after.
...
Eventually, the class settled down and things were started with their teacher, Hiyami Kababah. She was none too distinguished as UA teacher and pro hero, and there was a bit of evidence suggesting that Kababah somewhat discriminated against her male students, trusting them less than her female students by default. This is notable given that Inko has proven with that temperament of hers to overall be Kababah's most troublesome student.
Even so, Kababah was easy enough to work with. On this day, she was having her students go through an exercise that, ultimately, Fuyuki not only finished first but got the overall best score. "Not bad, Midoriya," Kababah remarked, a hint of wry bemusement in her tone, "But then again your dad is the number one hero."
Fuyuki nodded once in thanks to his sensei for the acknowledgement. As the other students completed the exercise, Inko gave her cousin a glare. She scoffed in annoyance, but did nothing else save for turning around and leaving Fuyuki be as he conversed with his friends. The day soon ended, and overall Fuyuki was noted by teachers to overall be the best in classes that day. But with the blood of the number one hero in him, it was expected that Fuyuki would do well.
A model student, to be sure.
That evening at the dorms for class 1-A, the students of new class 1-A were relaxing after the day that they had just finished. "What do you think will go on tomorrow?" Tengoh asked as he regarded all of his friends.
Fuyuki shrugged. "No clue. But whatever may come our way, we'll tackle it with a plus ultra attitude."
The others in Fuyuki's immediate circle of friends all nodded in agreement. As Samidare was about to speak up, a shadow creature came out of him, connected to him by a shadowy cord that peeked out from under his shirt. The shadow creature was black, with dark green whispy streaks, and similarly colored eyes. Additionally, it vaguely resembled a frog. "You humans sure are an interesting lot," the froggy shadow creature said.
Samidare rolled his eyes at the actions of his sentient quirk. The quirk is listed as Great Shadow, a variation of his father's own sentient quirk Dark Shadow who, unlike Dark Shadow, was more frog-like. It was suspected that influence from his mother's half of the family is responsible. Also, Great Shadow has proven to be as...eccentric...as Dark Shadow.
"Yes, yes, we're very interesting Great Shadow," Samidare said dryly, then he immediately turned to his friends. "Hey, the sports festival is coming up. How do you all think we'll do?"
"Oh, I can't see anyone stopping us," Aizawa remarked, sounding a bit sure of himself as his left cat ear twitched slightly and his long cat tail swished. Jerking a thumb at Fuyuki, Aizawa went on, "We even got the son of the number one hero in our corner. We have this in the bag, boys."
Fuyuki laughed it off, a bit embarrassed. "Oh come on now, Aizawa. It's not like I'm insanely overpowered like my dad. If anything, I'm mostly like my mom."
Toya nodded along in agreement. "Yeah, you straight up got the same quirk as Uravity. Oh, that reminds me." Toya turned to look at all of his friends. "Have any of you boys given any thought to what your hero alias will be?"
Nodding in confirmation, Fuyuki was about to speak up, but he was cut off when Kababah called out angrily, "Midoriya!" The boys all turned to see Kababah come stomping over towards them, followed by some of the girls in their class. All of the girls were glaring accusingly right at the son of the number one hero.
"What's going on, Kababah-sensei?" Fuyuki asked, worried about what was going on.
Pointing accusingly at her own cousin, Inko snapped, "I'll tell you what's going on, you perverted little shit! We just discovered that you're a goddamn panty thief!"
"Woah, woah, woah, time out here!" Toya said, getting up and doing the time out gesture. With all eyes on him, Toya said, "You're accusing Fuyuki of being a panty thief, something that not only is he not, but also something that shouldn't even be possible period since Fuyuki just ain't like that at all."
Gesturing to the girls behind her, Kababah said, "One of the girls here told me that she saw that Midoriya was up to something suspicious, while also hearing him mutter something about his 'secret stash'. So I decided to investigate by searching his dorm room." Pointing dramatically at Fuyuki, Kababah declared, "Not only did I find a load of panties stolen from the girls in class, but I also found indecent magazines!"
"Exucse me?!" Fuyuki had exclaimed, not believing the accusations thrown at him.
Sekijiro was brought in to look at the matter, and indeed the principal of UA found said items in Fuyuki's dorm room. "You...do realize that all of this is very clearly planted," Tengoh said as he looked at the Blood Hero, "Right, Principal Sekijiro?"
Sekijiro looked down at where all of the stuff was just sitting in a box on the floor in Fuyuki's dorm room. "...I don't know," Sekijiro replied in an unsure tone, "This wouldn't be the first time that a UA student had been very indecent in the lewd sense."
"Well can't we just get Police Commissioner Naomasa to come in and check things with his quirk?" Samidare asked, "He can get the truth for us for sure!"
The principal of UA crossed his arms over his chest, wore a grim look. "...We don't have the time to do that. The parents of the girls are going to want some form of justice, and they're going to want it-" Sekijiro stopped to snap his fingers. "-Like that. I'm afraid that I'm left with no choice but to approve of Kababah's request to expel Fuyuki from UA."
"You're expelling him?!" Toya exclaimed, "Without even investigating things properly?!" As for Fuyuki himself, he was shocked into silence; he was being kicked out of UA, the school his parents had attended, the school he had wanted to go to for so long.
Sekijiro gestured to the box of lewd things sitting on the floor. "There's evidence right there signifying that Midoriya is a blatant pervert! The last time UA had a blatantly perverted student, the staff did nothing serious to curb things until things got so bad we nearly lost accreditation when things made the news!"
From behind the boys, they heard a girl chuckle darkly. They turned to see Inko, Fuyuki's cousin, standing there leaning against the door frame. "Yeah, I never really could trust that cousin of mine. Never for the life of me could figure out why, though." The horned blonde girl looked right at Fuyuki. "Your parents are going to be pissed when they hear you not only got expelled from UA, but also turned out to be a pervert and a panty thief. Hell, the whole family will be pissed."
"I am NOT a pervert or a panty thief!" Fuyuki exclaimed, "This has-" Fuyuki was cut off when Sekijiro placed a firm hand on his shoulder.
"Yeah, given the circumstances, I can't let you anywhere near any of the female students," Sekijiro said firmly, a hint of resignation in his tone, "Come with me." Sekijiro then led Fuyuki away, amidst cries of protest from Fuyuki and his friends. Soon enough, the son of the number one hero was led out of the dorm building.
Fuyuki's friends couldn't believe that this had happened. "...We need to to tell others about this," Tengoh said firmly, "Something's obviously up. There's no way Fuyuki is a pervert for real."
"Exactly," Aizawa said as he and the other boys left the dorm room. Lingering behind for a second was Inko, who said nothing as she turned around and proceeded to head on over to her own dorm room.
"I keep telling you, I didn't do anything!"
After his expulsion from Japan's top hero academy, Fuyuki was brought straight home where his mother Ochaco, as well as his Aunt Pony and grandparents, were all confronting him. Well, his Grandpa Masaru was mostly hanging back, a stern and disappointed look on his face. It was clear that none of them were believing him.
"Don't lie to me, young man!" Ochaco scolded angrily, "Do you know how shocked I was when I got a call telling me everything?! Do you know how bad this is?!"
"But I didn't do anything! I was clearly set-"
*SLAP*
Fuyuki was cut off when his mother slapped him across the face. "I am very disappointed in you, Fuyuki," Ochaco said firmly, "I can't believe that my own son is a pervert!"
Granny Inko sighed in a troubled, resigned tone as she expressed disappointment in her grandson. In the years since Izuku had graduated from UA, in the years since she had been married to Masaru, Granny Inko had gained a truly warm, grandmotherly appearance. She now wore glasses that had a beaded string attached to the ends of the ear pieces, and her weight had doubled since Izuku had started at UA; Granny Inko was an old fat lady, but one who made everyone that saw her wish that she was their grandma.
As such, having Granny Inko disappointed in you was something that would break your heart. Which is why Fuyuki was barely able to keep himself from crying when Granny Inko said, "I...I don't think I can speak to you right now, Fuyuki."
Ochaco pointed right up the staircase in the house. "Your room. Now. We'll talk more about this when your father gets back from cleaning up the mess that you made." It was clear that none of his family believed him, refused to believe him. Left with no choice, Fuyuki did as he was told. He looked back one last time to his family, but his mother and aunt were both giving him stern looks, his grandfather looked resigned and disappointed, and his grandmother wasn't looking at him at all.
Feeling defeated, Fuyuki turned around and went up the stairs.
It was past midnight and Izuku still hadn't returned from sorting things out. Fuyuki was laying on his bed in his room, staring up at the ceiling even though the lights were off. He couldn't believe that all of this had happened to him; set up for something he didn't do, expelled from UA, and now none of his family believes him. No doubt his dad, as well as Uncle Katsuki, would not give Fuyuki the benefit of the doubt either.
He also had no way of confirming his innocence, outside of his dad arranging to have Commissioner Naomasa question him with his Lie Detection quirk active. But Fuyuki scoffed bitterly at the idea; if everyone else in his family didn't believe him, then how likely will his dad be willing to help with setting up something that would actually help prove Fuyuki's innocence? As far as Fuyuki's family was concerned, the face value of what happened was fact, with what all laid beneath it a non-factor.
"...None of them will believe me..." On a spur of the moment rush of energy and determination, Fuyuki got up, knowing he had to be as quiet as possible since not only did he not want to wake his mother up, but also his grandparents and aunt, all of whom had stayed over for the night. Luckily for him, Fuyuki knew how to be quiet, especially since his cousin Inko, whenever she had brought Komaru over, demanded that things be as low volume as possible.
Fuyuki once learned the hard way what happened when he didn't give into a demand from his older cousin.
He took an empty duffle bag out from under his bed, then went about throwing in what all he thought he'd be needing. This included a few changes of clothes, but there were a few utility items like a pocket knife, a small flashlight, a stick of deodorant and other handy tools. These were all items that were already in Fuyuki's room.
There were a few more things he wanted to grab, but they were all located outside of his bedroom; oh well, that's what the money Fuyuki was bringing with him, all of the cash money he had available to him (an impressive 21,000 yen), was going to be used for. Buy what he couldn't take with him. Seeing that everything he was able to bring with him was packed, Fuyuki grabbed the bag and threw the strap over his right shoulder.
Carefully, Fuyuki opened the window to his bedroom as silently as possible. A good thing for him that Fuyuki developed the same quirk as his mother, as he used Zero Gravity to float down safely, quietly. With the dead of night covering him, Fuyuki took off, never intending to return to a place that doesn't believe him, that doesn't trust him.
END, CHAPTER ONE
Author's notes;
This idea was swimming around in my head, so I had to get it out. This story sees Izuku and everyone in his year at UA now all grown up and with UA age children of their own. But things took a hard turn when Fuyuki, the son of Izuku and Uraraka, was expelled from UA. No one in his family believes him, so Fuyuki decided to run away. Where this will lead the son of the current number one hero in Japan will need to be seen to be believed.
This story takes cues, hints and ideas from some of my other BNHA works, such as ACTWGDIL, but it's a separate beast entirely. You'll see what I mean later. Also, this is the first story with an overall serious tone that I'm attempting, so please bear with me as I figure things out here.
