Earth Land: Deep within a Cave

A fair-skinned man with spiky, waist length black hair stood inside a rather deep, large cave. He currently wore his casual attire consisting of a blue, long sleeve shirt and white pants. The Uchiha Clan's crest was on the back of his shirt. This was Madara Uchiha.

A set of crimson armor with numerous metal plates, forming protective guards along his chest, waist, shoulders, and thighs, sat against a nearby wall. A Konohagakure forehead protector and orange, brown gunbai were sat alongside it.

The cave itself was rather spacious and lit by torches as nine, colossal tubes were spaced along the wall. Each tube contained a different, forming being. Currently, each being was just a colored liquid. Tan, dark blue, gray, red, light blue, white, yellow-blue, dark red, and orange.

Madara looked at each tube one by one before nodding. "It is time to bring the Shinobi who will match me to this world. The world where our ultimate clash will give me the death I now seek as a warrior."

Madara moved back and held out his hand causing a magic circle to appear on the ground. This Uchiha, who had died more times than one should, had come to accept that his ideals were not right with his last death. With acceptance, he was annoyed to find himself alive in this world.

It was as though some malevolent force was out to use him. He could feel it tugging at him to come, but he would not give it the satisfaction. He lived to find the way to meet his end. As he lived, he learned how different this world was from his old one.

As the first of his world, he learned others had been brought here. Others like him and others not quite like him. In the end, they had no idea he was here as he had no qualms with them; however, their continued existence would provide the chosen warrior opportunity to grow.

Madara's eyes turned to the Sharingan. He would grant the chosen warrior his newfound power, and, with it, the warrior would grow exponentially. In the end, he would give Madara the honorable death he sought.

"Bring me a warrior who will become an opponent worthy enough to end my existence." Madara thought causing the magic circle to vanish. "I'll be watching, so don't disappoint me Kakashi Hatake."

Elemental Nations: Valley of the End, After the Final Fight…

Kakashi Hatake, a man with spiky silver hair oriented to the left and dark grey eyes, was crouched on a cliff overlooking the valley. A vertical scar, which he received in the Third Great Ninja War, ran over his right eye. He wore a mask which covers the bottom half of his face.

The rest of his attire consisted of a Konoha flak jacket, dark blue pants, and long-sleeved shirt. He also wore fingerless gloves with metal plates on the backhand. He seemed rather ragged, but that was expected since he had recently fought in the Fourth Great Ninja War.

Shortly after that, he had done everything he could to help his students fight Kaguya Otsutsuki. Now, things seemed have concluded after one, final fight between his two students. Kakashi smiled as he took his head band and tilted it over his right eye.

After getting his regular eye back, this wasn't necessary, but old habits tended to die hard. Kakashi's eyes were suddenly drawn down as a crimson red and unfamiliar seal appeared below him. The only thing the Jonin recognized was the Sharingan symbol within the center of the seal.

Before he could act, the Shinobi turned into crimson red particles which vanished into the sky. Oddly enough, a few black particles, from an outside source, merged with the red particles. None of his students noticed since he hadn't made himself known to his students.

Earth Land: Hill, Day…

Kakashi appeared, still crouched, on a hill which overlooked a city he could tell was untouched by the wars of Shinobi. The Jonin was shocked, but he had years of experience. He wasn't about to overreact to the situation.

"What was that and where am I?" Kakashi took stock of his situation. "That city down there looks nothing like I've seen in the Elemental Nations or beyond."

"I can tell your confused Kakashi Hatake, so allow me to explain." A voice Kakashi recognized, but couldn't quite place, spoke.

The Jonin noticed a floating, crimson sphere before him. "Who or what are you?"

"I am a person who exists far from your current location." The voice spoke. "I was the one who summoned you. Before we continue, why not look at yourself." A full-length mirror appeared. "Do you notice anything different?"

Kakashi was shocked to find that he was now 18. "What have you done to me?"

Whatever this sphere was, it didn't seem to be capable of fighting. Considering he could tell there was no one around, Kakashi figured it would be best to get information on his circumstances.

"I have turned back your time to keep you in the prime of your life." The sphere stated. "You are in a world called Earth Land which exists in another world."

If you had told Kakashi before the war that other dimensions and worlds existed, he wouldn't have believed it; however, he had helped his students fight a woman who could send them to different dimensions. That meant this was either an elaborate Genjutsu or real.

"You will find that you are not the only one from your world here. Old enemies and allies have either been given a second chance at life or copied into new lives. Without you, the old enemies of your world will devastate this land."

"What do you mean by old enemies?" Kakashi asked.

"The Akatsuki, Rogue Shinobi, enemies within, and Madara Uchiha are here." The sphere replied. "You may find some more agreeable than you think. There is more, but I will not hold your hand by explaining it."

Kakashi was not blind to the damage people like them could cause, but how could he trust some random voice coming from this sphere. The more it talked, the more untrustworthy it seemed.

"What makes me special?" Kakashi asked. "I have a life and people I care for back home. Surely, the people of this world and allies from my world can handle things here."

If what this voice said were true, Kakashi knew he sounded a little selfish, but he had just fought a war culminating in helping to fight a woman who could tear through dimensions. Surely, his stance was understandable.

"Are you content to abandon this world for your own?" The sphere asked. "To leave them to face Madara Uchiha and the Akatsuki? This world has its warriors, but without you, their chance of success lowers."

This sphere had a point. It may not have told him everyone here, but who really had an idea of how strong Madara had become? Those that had died during the war weren't strong enough to stop him, and that's even if they knew about the impending danger in the first place.

The sphere continued. "Madara has only grown since he's arrived in this world. A world of Magic rather than Chakra. He will destroy this world unless you, my chosen warrior, act." The sphere explained. "You who is the secondary wielder of Copy Magic.

"Magic?" Kakashi questioned. "Copy Magic?"

"Magic is what the Mages of this world use to fight." The voice informed. "It has become the source of power for those from your world. Unlike them, your skills have been replaced by a Lost Magic known as Copy Magic.

Lost Magic is magic which has been obliterated from the history of this world. They are a powerful type of magic, but some have drawbacks. Your Copy Magic is connected to your Sharingan of which you now have two.

Your Sharingan has all the usual reading abilities of your world, but you've lost your Genjutsu. Since I don't want you to be without something usable, I've left you with Body Flicker. Realistically, there is no choice as I will not give you one."

"How do I know I can trust you?" Kakashi questioned.

"I want Madara Uchiha eradicated." The sphere stated. "Anyone not opposing the good people of this world are free to live, but the rest must be dealt with one way or another. Do this for me, and you will see the Elemental Nations again. Refuse me, and you never will see them again."

Kakashi had no idea how strong the person behind this was, but if what they said were true, along with his current build, he should be much weaker than he was. In the end, there wasn't much of a choice to be had.

"It looks like I must accept; however, this isn't over." Kakashi stated. "I am more than a tool to be used."

"I hope so Kakashi Hatake." The sphere stated. "Head into that city, Magnolia, and join Fairy Tail. They will help you achieve the strength you need."

Without another word, the sphere vanished leaving Kakashi without much to go on. He looked towards the city and considered trying another path. Since this was another world, he had no idea where else he could go. At least by entering Magnolia, he'd have some guidance.

"Looks like I know what I must do." Kakashi walked towards the city. "That said, my new 'employer' hasn't forbidden me from finding my own way home. If a native brought me here, perhaps a native can help me return."

Madara's Cave

"I'll be waiting Kakashi Hatake." Madara looked at the sphere in his hand. "I sense a bit of your magic in him Zeref. Looks like you were serious about helping me achieve our shared goal."

The Uchiha took one more look at the nine vats before walking down a single hallway. A brown, magic circle appeared at the entrance causing a wall to shoot up masking the room.

Magnolia

Kakashi walked through the city and noticed just how lively it was. People were going about their day while only paying minimal attention to him. What he could conclude with certainty is that mages must look different from the civilians, and he probably looked enough like one.

He was thinking on how to find Fairy Tail while becoming aware that he didn't feel quite right. It wasn't that he was sick or hurt, his wounds from the war had been healed, but he felt different. After contemplating on this, he figured it had to be his absence of Chakra.

Normally, that would be detrimental to anyone back home, but he didn't feel any negative effects. Although Kakashi felt different, he still felt as though he could get on the roofs, but he had no idea what the rules of this society were. As such, he decided to ask for directions.

Hopefully, people would be willing to talk with him. "Excuse me?"

The civilian he stopped to look at him with a raised eyebrow. "Can I help you?"

Kakashi nodded. "I came to Magnolia in search of the Mage Guild known as Fairy Tail. Unfortunately, my former home provided no information on where it'd be within the city. If it's possible, could you point me in the direction of the guild?"

"Yeah, no problem pal. Everyone in Magnolia knows where the guild is." The civilian pointed up the road. "Fairy Tail is located up the main road. Keep going and you can't miss it. Building is at the top of some long stairs."

Kakashi nodded. "Thank you."

The Jonin moved up the path. Despite his current situation, he couldn't help but wonder what Fairy Tail might be like. Ultimately, he hopped they had the answers he sought.

Fairy Tail Guildhall

Eventually, Kakashi saw a building at the top of some long stairs and assumed it was the Fairy Tail guildhall. He walked up the stairs and opened the doors to a bar room filled with all sorts of different looking mages.

Most of them noticed the door open and turned to the Jonin. "I hope I'm not intruding. My name is Kakashi Hatake, and I was led to believe this is Fairy Tail. If it is, I'm looking to join."

He wanted to gauge who the master was and hoped they were reliable. Kakashi needed someone to help him, and who better than the person that led the guild? He was soon approached by a slim young woman of below average height.

She had long, white hair which curls slightly at the ends with two bangs framing her face and reaches down to her chest. She had large blue eyes and a curvy, voluptuous body. She wore a sleeveless, ankle-length maroon dress with a pleated skirt.

The chest of the dress was adorned by a large, pink bow and similarly colored trim which framed the rather ample neckline, acting as straps, and circled around the waist. She also wore high-heeled shoes.

Upon seeing her, Kakashi had to admit she was beautiful, but he also thought of Jiraiya. "If he were here, he'd likely have the inspiration for another book. Hm, I wonder if this world has literature like that?"

"Hello, I'm Mirajane Strauss, but most people call me Mira." Mira nodded. "If you wish to join, I can take you to meet our guild master. He's usually welcoming to any Mage looking to join."

"I would appreciate the direction." Kakashi stated. "That said, do not feel the need in taking me to him. If you point me in his direction, that will be enough."

"If you insist." Mira pointed to the bar. "Master Makarov is over there. After you talk to him, come to me for your stamp, and I'll point out some of our members to give you a basis."

"Considering I don't know how long I'll be here; it would be best to get to know them. Especially if I end up staying to fight Madara." Kakashi thought. "Thank you for your kindness Mira."

This girl was a sweet one, but Kakashi could see an underlaying strength deep in her eyes. He wasn't about to underestimate anyone's combat prowess in this world. Just because it didn't look like home didn't mean it wouldn't have strong people.

Mira thought Kakashi was looking at her eyes longer than most men tended to. Not that she wasn't used to people looking at her, but they usually focused on something else. It was rather nice to be honest. That said, she had work to get back to.

"Anyways, I will take my leave." Mira stated.

Mira walked off and Kakashi turned his attention to a bar where he noticed an extremely short, elderly man with black eyes and white hair. This did include a rather thick, matching mustache. The old man was dressed in a casual manner.

His attire consisted of a white shirt with a black Fairy Tail stamp in the middle under an orange hoodie. Kakashi had noticed that mark on the other mages leading him to believe it was a symbol much like his head band.

As he approached, the Jonin noted how relaxed the old man was. In truth, despite the height difference, this man reminded him of the Third Hokage. This connection put Kakashi more at ease with his situation.

"Hello boy." The old man looked at Kakashi with a smile. "I saw you enter and converse with Mira." He nodded. "My name is Makarov, and I'd be happy to help you with whatever you need."

"I'm glad to hear that sir." Kakashi stated respectfully. "I arrived in Magnolia and was hoping to join Fairy Tail."

"New recruit, huh?" Makarov nodded. "Fairy Tail is always glad to take in new Wizards. What's your name?"

"Kakashi Hatake." Kakashi replied.

"Pleasure to meet you." Makarov stated. "Welcome to Fairy Tail. Since you'll be staying, feel free to call me what you like. Sir or master is perfectly fine, but there are many who call me gramps. I'm not picky my boy."

"I'll keep that in mind Master Makarov." Kakashi looked at the man with a raised eyebrow. "Is this really all it takes to become a member? No disrespect meant, but you don't need to hear anything about me?"

Makarov waved him off. "Everyone is entitled to share or not share their stories. What matters is that I can tell you are a decent guy, so until you feel up to sharing your tale, I won't pry. Don't apply that to anyone else here. My children are a curious lot."

"Your children?" Kakashi had noticed how fondly Makarov said children as it was the same fondness used by the Third. "Are these actually your children or…"

"I do have a grandson, but that's it biologically." Makarov nodded. "While I do love him, I love all who wear the Fairy Tail mark. To me, all of them are my children. All those who join Fairy Tail come to think of each other as family. For most, it is the only family they've known."

"At least that voice hasn't sent me to join something against my values. In fact, many back home would love to have this." Kakashi gave one of his eye smiles. "Seems I have chosen the right guild. Thank you, Master."

"Think nothing of it and welcome to the family." Makarov stated. "You can go to the end of the bar and speak with Mira to receive your guild mark. Oh, if you do not have somewhere to stay, you can use the infirmary until you get on your feet."

"That is very kind of you master." It was more kind than Makarov knew since Kakashi had spotted people using money different from that of the Elemental Nations, and it's not like he had any to begin with considering he had been fighting a war. "I believe I will visit with her now."

The Jonin walked over to Mira, but he felt two sets of eyes on him that had remained well after everyone else stopped looking. Kakashi saw that one set of eyes belonged to a female with a rather large barrel of alcohol while the other belonged to a guy that looked like an Uchiha.

The woman was tan with an ample bust. She was also tall and slim with mid-back length brown hair and large brown eyes with visibly long eyelashes A black Fairy Tail mark was located on the lower left part of her abdomen above her hips.

Her shapely upper body was largely exposed, with her attire being a light blue bikini top, pair of capri pants with two bands hanging from each leg, and a light belt covered in heart motifs loosely tied around the waist. She completed her outfit with a pair of high-heeled sandals.

"Peculiar." Kakashi thought. "No one knows me, but it wouldn't be out of the question to receive looks from girls like I did in my Academy days. While there's something like that with her, she also seems curious."

The guy's most prominent feature was his spiky, black hair. He also has dark blue eyes, and a well-toned body. His attire consisted of black pants and a red T-shirt with a necklace, metal bracelet, and chain attached to the belt loops on the right side of his pants.

"That guy reminds me of an Uchiha, but I get the feeling that's not it." Kakashi thought.

The Shinobi adverted his gaze and approached Mira. "Hello Kakashi. I can only assume you're here to see me about your guild mark so take a seat." She retrieved the stamp as he sat down. "This won't hurt. All I need is for you to tell me where you want it and in what color."

"Where do you recommend?" Kakashi asked.

"A guild mark is meant to help clients identify you as a Fairy Tail wizard when you take a job." Mira explained. "It's best if it's somewhere visible or easily accessed. Of course, if you ever leave the guild, it can be removed.

"Considering my attire covers practically every part of my body, I'd need to either get it somewhere visible or hidden. That said, I could always earn money and change my wardrobe." Kakashi rolled up his right sleeve.

"On my right arm, below the shoulder, and silver."Mira nodded and pressed the stamp on the indicated area giving Kakashi his desired color of guild mark."Now that we're done with that, you said you'd point out some of the members."

"Of course." Mira pointed to the woman who'd been looking at him. "That's Cana Alberona. She holds the title of Fairy Tail's heaviest drinker." She then pointed to another person who was berating two guys. "That's my brother Elfman Strauss."

Mira had pointed to a large, muscular man with tan colored skin who towered over everyone in the room. He had long white hair styled in wavy spikes, dark eyes, and a rectangular, elongated face with a scar running down its right side.

His outfit was a dark blue jacket with purplish blue inners held closed by a line of large buttons. Elfman's outfit was completed by loose pants, which matched his jacket, and were held by a simple belt. Finally, he had traditional geta sandals on.

"Then there's Gray Fullbuster." Mira had pointed out the guy with spiky hair who had been watching him. "He's a talented wizard but has the habit of taking off his clothes. He doesn't even realize he's done it. Sometimes he keeps his boxes on, but other times he loses everything."

"Looking at him more, he kind of reminds me of Sasuke; however, he seems calmer." Kakashi thought. "He's far more composed and content." He turned to Mira. "He doesn't seem like the type to strip."

Mira giggled. "Look again."

The Jonin turned to see that the wizard had somehow lost all his clothes which allowed him to see the guy's guild mark, dark blue, on his right pectoral muscle.

Elfman came over. "Gray, put your clothes back on!"

Gray looked at himself shocked. "Ah, my clothes!"

"Everyone has their habits, and it usually comes from somewhere." Kakashi thought knowing he had his own habit. "Who's next?"

"Many of our most notable members are either on quest or out, so you'll meet them as they return." Mira stated. "That said, there is Loke. He's ranked high on the most eligible wizard bachelor's list, but you may very well end up outranking him."

Loke was a young man of average height with orange hair. He wore a green coat with a wide collar over a light red shirt, covered in flower-like motifs, black pants, and white sneakers. The guy currently had two ladies in his lap.

Kakashi looked at Mira. "Since that was the last person you're going to point out, I was hoping you could fill me in on how a Mage makes money. This is my first guild, and I unfortunately have nothing. While I have a place in the infirmary, I'm not one to impose."

"No problem." Mira pointed to a board which read 'Request Board'. "That is our guild's Request Board where Wizards can find jobs. Each job pays a different number of Jewels depending on who sent the quest and how difficult it may be."

"Jewels, huh? Sounds like the jobs back home." Kakashi thought. "What kind of jobs are there?"

"Practically anything. Simple jobs around Magnolia, deliveries around and out of Magnolia, fighting thieves and bandits, hunting monsters, fighting dark mages, and so on." Mira stated. "Is there anything that strikes your fancy?"

Kakashi had an important question to ask, but he had to phrase it right. "Actually, I have a question. I'm a little in the dark concerning jobs that require fighting. I don't have to kill, right?"

"Heavens no!" Mira shook her head. "Official wizard guilds are heavily discouraged from killing, and we never get such jobs in the first place."

"I see." Kakashi stated. "I'm sorry for bringing such a thing up, but I had to get some clarity."

"Not at all." Mira stated. "Anyways, are there any jobs you might like in particular?"

"While I would be glad to take down some bandits or thieves, I am new to Magnolia. I think it's best I take local jobs to learn more about the city." Kakashi stated. "My body and arsenal are also limited, so It'd be best to get a grip on what I'm capable of before setting off.

"That sounds like a great idea." Mira bent down behind the counter before pulling out a good stack of papers. "The new requests for the board have come in, and these are the local jobs. Since this will be your first job, you can have first pick."

Kakashi picked up the stack and began looking through it as he conversed with Mira. "Are there any time limits I should be aware of?"

"Not particularly." Mira stated.

"I see they pay anywhere from 1,000 to 5,000 Jewels." Kakashi stated. "How much is there all together?"

"All those jobs done would equal 100,000 Jewels." Mira stated before smiling knowingly. "If you did them all, I could direct you to an apartment building where rent would be 80,000 a month leaving you 20,000 by the end."

"I see." Kakashi nodded. "I think I can get all these jobs done well within the month."

"They are yours." Mira stated. "That said, you should start tomorrow as it is getting late. The stairs down to the infirmary are over to the right."

Kakashi had been through a lot from the war to ending up in another world. "I believe that would be for the best, but before I head down, Fairy Tail wouldn't happen to have a library, would it?"

"It's the door to the left." Mira nodded. "Feel free to take anything that strikes your fancy."

Kakashi stood. "I believe I will do just that."

As the Jonin walked towards the library, he noticed Cana and Gray watching him again. He wondered why they didn't approach him but ended up chalking it to them giving the new guy his space.

Infirmary

Kakashi walked on down the stairs holding books pertaining to Earth Land's laws, history, and maps. He hoped he'd return home soon, but there's no way he would deny knowledge in this new environment.

The Shinobi picked an empty bed near a source of light, sat down, and pulled out one of the books. He figured he could get through one before having to get to sleep. After all, he had jobs to get to tomorrow.

Morning…

Kakashi woke and did his best to prepare for the day. Considering all he had were the clothes on his backs, and whatever he had on him, he couldn't do much. The Shinobi made his bed, checked over his remaining weapons, and neatly stacked the books he took from the library.

"Two kunai, a handful of shuriken, and the Icha Icha books. I'll need to be careful using the weapons until I gain more magic." Kakashi thought. "On that note, I should get to the jobs. If I complete them fast enough, perhaps more will come in, and I can take them as well."

The Jonin walked up the stairs.

Guildhall

Various Wizards were in the main area as Kakashi approached the bar and sat down. "If I put all my experience to the task, I can finish each day's worth early and train."

"Ah, there you are Kakashi." Mira walked over with a chipper smile, an omelet that smelled heavenly, and a glass of orange juice. "Good Morning."

"Good morning Mira." Kakashi stated.

Mira set the food and drink before Kakashi. "Here, I made you a meal before you get to your jobs." This shocked the Jonin. "This way you'll have more energy for the day."

"I appreciate this Mira, but I have no Jewels to my name." Kakashi moved the plate and glass away from him. "Come to think of it, I'll need to divert a rather large portion of my pay to new clothes and food. Without proper budgeting, I may not be able to afford rent."

"It's alright Kakashi." Mira moved the food and glass to Kakashi. "For the time being, I'll feed you free of charge."

Kakashi looked at the food and got a good whiff of it causing his stomach to growl. "I really don't wish to be a bother."

"Trust me, it's no bother." Mira nodded. "Eat to your hearts content and never be afraid to ask for more."

Kakashi nodded. "I apricate this."

The Shinobi grabbed a fork as Mira and plenty of other Wizards began to stare. Seems they wanted to know what was under his mask far sooner than his students ever did. Kakashi pulled his mask down causing everyone to be surprised at how handsome he looked.

Mira, being the closest, was even blushing. The Shinobi didn't care as he scarfed down the meal with gusto causing everyone to be equally surprised with how fast their newest Wizard was going through his meal. Kakashi finished and put his mask back in place.

The Jonin clapped his hands together, closed his eyes, and bowed his head in respect. "Thank you for the meal Mira. It was the best food I've had in a long time."

Mira snapped out of looking at him before smiling. "I'm glad to hear that."

"While the meal was good, it doesn't solve my clothes problem." Kakashi stated to himself. "Guess it can't be helped. I'll need to seriously budget my money while accounting for possible failures if I want just enough for a month's rent."

"If you need some Jewels for clothing, I'd be happy to provide." Cana stated as she approached.

Kakashi looked at her. "Thanks for the offer, but I'd rather not take money from a guildmate. It's already enough that Mira is willing to feed me for free. I'd rather not push it and have people think I'm not willing to make my way."

"I thought you weren't like the other guys around here and hearing that confirms it." Cana smiled. "You don't want to just take my money, so I'll pay you for a job. If you come to one of the booths and talk will me, I'll give you more than enough for four outfits."

Kakashi knew this girl was curious about him and talking to her did seem to solve his problem; however, doing that would just create new problems. He'd either need to be truthful with who he was or concoct a lie.

"As that voice said, it's not uncommon for others from my world to appear here, and I could use the money. Even if they do know the full story, wouldn't it go against the village sharing any info about it?"

"Well, what's your choice?" Cana asked.

"I can accept those terms." Kakashi stood. "I do want to make it clear that this is simply moving forward the inevitable. At this point, I need clothes, but it is not the sole motivation I have for talking with you."

"Really?" Cana smirked. "What would your other motivation be?"

"I'm in need of help." Kakashi stated. "I can't exactly get that help if I'm not honest, so I'll put my trust in you as well as the guild. Based on the little I know; you seem trustworthy enough."

"Very well then." Cana walked to a booth. "Come on, newbie. Let's get this job underway."

Kakashi followed Cana and sat across from the mage. "Ask whatever is on your mind."

"Let's start with something simple." Cana stated. "What's your favorite food?"

"My favorite foods are salt-broiled saury and eggplant-mixed miso soup." Kakashi answered. "What about you?

"You may think it's anything that incorporates alcohol, but if I wanted the drink, I'd just drink it." Cana replied. "Honestly, I enjoy a good soup the most. Might try that eggplant-mixed miso you talked about. What do you like to do with your spare time?"

"I enjoy my student's company and reading a book series called Icha Icha." Kakashi stated.

"Icha Icha, huh?" Cana perked up at that.

Kakashi could sense a small level of familiarity with those words. "Did something I say catch your interest?"

Cana leaned forward while many mages had stopped what they were doing to listen in. "The food you mentioned sounded a little peculiar. I won't lie. Your appearance does strike a chord though you do seem younger. Even if you do have the same name, I wanted to be sure."

"I seem younger?" Kakashi pondered. "She would only say that if someone I knew was here."

Cana continued. "That book series you mentioned is the same one an S-Class Wizard of ours spoke of. He said his old sensei wrote them."

"It can't be." Kakashi looked at Cana hopefully. "Is his name Minato Namakaze?"

"Oh, so you are that Kakashi." Cana smiled. "I had my suspicions, but I wanted confirmation." She frowned. "That leaves the question of how you died. He said you were alive before some raven haired Uchiha dispelled the Reanimation Jutsu."

"How I died?" Kakashi nodded. "I suppose that makes me an anomaly. It also appears my former Sensei has told you much of our world."

"Are you saying you didn't die to get here?" Cana asked.

"No, I didn't." Kakashi stated. "Someone brought me here against my will while I was still alive. There's more to the story, but could I keep it to myself for the time being? I still have much to process myself."

"I suppose, but you've just made me curious." Cana put a stack of Jewels on the table and slid it over to the Shinobi. "I'll want to hear more, but I'll consider this job of ours a success."

"I won't say this hasn't been interesting, and I wouldn't mind talking more without the promise of Jewels." Kakashi tucked the money away on his person. "Say Cana, you wouldn't happen to know when Minato will be back?"

"He tends to come and go." Cana stated. "Much like another S Class, Mystogan, he takes on plenty jobs to keep Fairy Tail looking strong."

"If he ever returns, and I'm not here, tell him I've joined Fairy Tail." Kakashi stood. "In the meantime, I have jobs to get to." He walked towards the open doors of the guildhall. "We will speak later Cana."

The shinobi walked away while many mages, from unknowns to Elfman, Cana, Loke, Mira, Gray, and Makarov were watching him leave with varying levels of interest.

Kakashi's New Apartment: 2 Weeks Later…

Kakashi spent the past two weeks working through his jobs and getting a handle of his build. In that time, he was able to rent an apartment, get a handle on what he was capable of, and find ways to utilize Body Flicker. Granted, all he really had was a bed and fridge, but that was life.

It was still an impressive place worth the rent with two bedrooms, bathroom, kitchen, and living room. That's not all as Mira had informed him of more jobs coming in around Magnolia. Kakashi now got dressed in a no sleeved black shirt and matching pants.

He then tied his head band around his forehead while keeping his eyes uncovered. The final touch was placing his weapon holsters in their proper places before setting out for the guildhall. He hoped Makarov may even have an idea to get him home.
