Prologue!

Running…

Running faster, and faster.

Through a woodland area, huge trees surrounding them. Cherry blossoms fell down, scattered across the ground, the sky was clear blue, yet there were clouds that formed darkened patches on the ground, a young boy took note of all of the things.

He even noted the animals in the area.

The small little woodland creatures, the bugs, everything that his eyes could capture, did capture.

The wind speeding through his hair indicated how fast he was going.

The young boy was being chased by a few monster looking Stray Devils.

Their eyes were on the boys body, ready to devour him whole.

The young boy in question looked around nine to ten years in age. He was of average height for a boy his age, he had deep purple eyes, and raven black hair. Long hair strands fell down both sides of his face, framing his face with the bangs. At the back, his hair flowed down to his neck, jagged as if it was like a lightning bolt, a choice on the boys part to make it look like that.

This boys name is Haruki Himejima.

The child's eyes displayed what seemed to be fear as the creatures continued to chase him down…

But then he tripped.

He gasped, and tried to stand, when a hulking monsters foot stomped beside him.

He quickly turned, seeing the monsters devilish eyes on him.

"Hmmm, wonder what we'd get for this one?"

One of them said, licking their lips.

The boy moved backwards, trying to get away.

But they stopped him with a wave of their hands, shooting off some kind of power.

Demonic energy from the looks of it.

The boy cupped his head into his knees, avoiding the blasts of power.

The Devils laughed, as the boy looked up at them.

"Please don't hurt me..."

He sobbed out.

But the Devils laughed, letting their guards down.

One of them tried to grab the boys head…

When his scared face...suddenly took a dramatic turn.

From fear...to excitement.

His hand grabbed the Devils hand, as some weird type of lightning crackled between his fingers.

"...It's not nice...picking on innocent people, now it's time to get punished."

Finishing off his words, the boy ran the weird lightning that looked to be a mixture of normal lightning and some kind of white lights running through it, which ran through the Devils body, shocking him to the point that he fell over, and died as a result of the intense shocking.

The Devils were shocked as the boy stood up, licking his lips with a slight smirk on his face.

"W-Wait, you were frightened a second ago! What happened to that?!"

"You lowered your guard because you thought I was helpless."

The Devil scornfully growled, and charged for the boy.

Trying to land a direct punch on him, he dodges left, and then slammed his hand downwards, filled with Holy Lightning, the man's eyes popped out of his head, as blood leaked out of his hand which he retracted.

Raising a finger to his lips, the boy began chortling sadistically, his face excited about the battle that could be awaiting him.

"Ara~ Naughty Devil-kun's, attacking innocent villagers, and trying to take the women for your own disgusting pleasure. You're gonna have to be punished for that ufufu~"

"T-This kid is weird! I'm just gonna cut him down!"

One of the Devils brought out what seemed to be some kind of large thick sword, and came towards Haruki. The blade attempted to slice the boy in half, only for Haruki to jump backwards, and then swing his hand upwards, summoning his Holy Lightning and formed it into a shield, blocking off the giant sword.

"Ara, that sword seems a little too big, it wont be able to be used that well~"

The Devil glared hard, and tried to push down.

But Haruki's lightning shot through it, breaking it clearly in half. The top half of the blade dropped down towards the ground, Haruki kicked off the ground, and slammed his foot into it, using some pressure to blow it towards the Devil, piercing him in the chest.

Haruki landed on the ground, twitching his neck.

"Hmmm, it seems that you aren't going to be much of a challenge after all. I heard you guys were strong, I was looking for some strong opponents...but, I didn't find any. Oh well, I guess it's time to end this."

The Devils face fell as lightning with white light, Holy Lightning wielded by the child sprang forward, and wrapped around their bodies, shocking them into oblivion, and even scorched the lands with the amount outputted.

Exhaling slowly, he wiped his brow.

"Darn...they weren't that strong...I wish they were a bit stronger...ooh well~"

Though it had quickly been over, Haruki showed a delightful smile, due to being able to take care of evil people, and seeing their fear. Since they always spread fear, he felt it was rather cathartic for them to feel fear for a change.

He turned and walked away from the area with his hands behind his back.

Sometime later, a young woman with long black hair, tied into twintails, and wore a magical girl outfit, with pink frills looked at the area that had been devastated, her blue eyes scanned over the area, a smile plastered on her face.

There were several Devils behind her, looking at the destruction Haruki had left behind.

Though the smile seemed to be a bit more...off than it usually would be.

She saw that not even a trace of the Devils existence was left.

She could feel some lingering demonic energy, so she knew that Devils had been there, and she also knew that Haruki had been there.

"Wow, that boy must've done this damage too!" She exclaimed with a wild smile. "But geez, this boys moving too fast, we can't keep up with him! Which way did he even go?! Little boy! Come out! It's okay! We wont hurt you!"

Despite saying that, no one came out at all.

She sighed, as a Devil came closer to her.

"Wherever he's gone, I can't track him down Serafall-sama."

Serafall exhaled with depression.

"Geez...and I thought you were good at sensing~"

The Devils face paled as Serafall winked at him.

"I-I am good at sensing! But the boys covered his tracks somehow!"

She presumed it would be that.

It had been like that several times lately.

Whenever they got close, he somehow managed to keep his tracks cleared.

Leaving no aura to follow.

She knew he must've been skilled to do something like that.

Serafall pursed her lips.

"Of course he is, we've been tracking him for like nearly three months now. It isn't like I wanna hurt him or anything...why does he keep running away from me…? Honestly, there's nothing wrong with me you know little boy!"

The Devil accompanying her chortled awkwardly.

Serafall waved her hands up and down.

"Well, no matter! Alright, it's time to find this boy! Everyone, split off and search for at least twenty miles in each direction! Don't quit until this boy has been found! I need to find him after all~"

[Yes Ma'am!]

The Devils took off running away, doing their duties for Serafall while she looked out to the sea of trees, exhaling slowly.

It seemed that she wouldn't be able to find him so easily.

She had been looking for a good while now, yet…

Nothing.

As that was going on, Haruki returned to what seems to be some kind of bar, he walked into it, and went to the bartender.

"They're gone. They wont be bothering you again."

He said, while looking between the different people in the bar. Women, children, men, some Youkai, ranging from ones he recognized like some fox Youkai, to one's he wasn't sure about like a kappa looking Youkai, among others. There were some humans also, he knew they'd be ones that would know about the magical side of the world, otherwise they'd not be in the town.

It seemed to he a family like bar, which he found intriguing.

"A-Amazing, you, a kid, beat them?"

"In terms of Devil strength, they were Low Class, so it wasn't difficult. You don't have to worry, your town will be safe now."

He replied with a soft smile.

The bartender looked astonished.

But he didn't ask more questions.

"I-I see! Still, thank you young man! You've saved our village contacting Devils and others to help us out! They would've charged us, and us being a poor community...we couldn't afford to pay them at all...we were in a bind until you showed up."

"It's not a trouble. Don't worry about it."

"Still, allow me to thank you properly!"

The boy lightly smiled kindly, his smile brought a smile to the bartenders face.

"Please, it's alright. I don't like seeing people being oppressed, just allowing me to rest here for a night is already enough for me."

"Then...have a meal! On the house!"

"Eh..." Feeling his stomach rumble, he shrugged. "Sure, thank you for your hospitality."

"Then what would you like boy?"

Haruki pursed his lips.

"Erm...do you know how to do Katsudon?"

"I believe so. I'll get on it right away!"

"Hehe, thank you very much."

He bowed his head, and walked off to a table.

Sitting down, Haruki got out some information about certain people that could be connected to someone.

He was on a mission to find someone important to him.

Someone he would consider his most important and precious person in the world.

His elder sister.

Everyday, he looked for news about her, ever since they got separated.

Ever since their Mother had died…

He was searching.

It had been about a year, and still…

There was nothing.

No matter what he did, he couldn't find her.

If she was dead, alive.

He didn't know.

As he looked through it, he saw out the corner of his eye, a man with a beard was on the front page of some kind of newsletter.

It was a man he knew rather well, but didn't want to even think about.

His own Father.

"So, he'd rather pose for pictures...than try to help Onee-sama and I….whatever, I'll protect Onee-sama myself then. The only thing you gave me is this Holy Lightning..."

Thinking about it, he didn't want to think about his Father anymore, so he didn't look.

As he searched, he came across a very curious piece of information he had collected.

About a mysterious child, purifying creatures within a certain place that was usually filled with Devils.

It didn't say who or what it was.

Only that it was someone purifying creatures.

"Akeno-nee-sama...is this a sign for me…? You were always able to purify like Mom...are you there? ...You have to be there...right? It could be a trap by that damn Suou, that can't be ruled out either...but still, Onee-sama...even if it is just a long shot...it's the only shot I've got...don't worry Onee-sama, I'm coming. I just hope that bastard Suou hasn't got his hands on her. So far, I've evaded him...but...if he's found her...I'll never forgive myself..."

He exhaled slowly, as his food came.

"Here you go young man."

Haruki gave an appreciative smile.

"Thank you. May I ask you one more thing?"

"Of course, anything!"

"Then, could you point me in the direction of this place please?"

Haruki showed the place, the nice bartender overlooked it, before cocking his head.

"Why do you want to go there? There's not much out there."

That sounded relieving, and also terrifying.

It could be used for either a base for Akeno, or a trap by Suou.

Either way, he'd have to go and see if he could get towards her.

"I'm...I want to see the sights, that's all."

He lied, not knowing what he should, and shouldn't reveal about himself, since he didn't want anyone to come after people because of him.

"I see, then I'm sure we can point you in the right direction."

Haruki gave a soft kind smile, as the man explained which way to go.

"Thank you very much."

"Not at all."

The Youkai bartender turned and walked off, leaving Haruki alone to eat his food.

Haruki looked out of the window, and thought about his sister, what she was doing at that time, and if she was lonely right now...he just hoped that she was alive, and well.

After eating his meal, he casually walked out of the room, and went towards a place he could rest for the night.

As he walked across the path, and to a secluded area, and went to walk towards the place he was told he'd be able to sleep that night…

When he heard some noise from up above.

Looking, he saw some young kids climbing up the side of a tree, going towards what seemed to be a tree house.

He paid no attention, allowing them to do what they'd like to do…

But then he heard a scream.

"Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah!"

Turning quickly, he saw that one of the boys climbing had lost his balance, and was falling out of the tree.

Since he was rather young, Haruki thought he'd be hurt.

Without even thinking, he spread his brilliant midnight looking wings, and shot forward.

Flapping hard, he crossed the distance within moments, and caught the boy before he could hit the ground, using some magic to decrease the speed he'd fall so when he was caught it wouldn't hurt him.

Looking down, the boys eyes went towards Haruki who gave a kind smile.

However, as he was, the boys eyes went towards the wings extending out of Haruki's back, seeing his black wings, his face paled.

"FALLEN ANGEL! A FALLEN ANGELS HERE!"

As the boy yelled it, the townspeople came shooting out of their houses, and saw Haruki hovering above the ground.

Their anger turned to Haruki, and yelled "LET HIM GO FALLEN ANGEL!" and "THAT MONSTER HAS MY BABY!" he presumed it was the boys Mother. He also saw that some of them had summoned some weak fire to try and blast him with it.

But before they could, he landed on the ground, placing the boy on the ground, and he shot off to his Mom.

"Kaa-chan! I was so scared! That Fallen Angel was going to take me!"

"I know baby! It's okay! That Fallen Angel wont get you!"

Haruki retracted his wings as he saw more and more people turning towards him, pointing, and some even looked frightened. Some even had some weapons pointed towards him as if he was some kind of enemy that needed to be vanquished.

As the crowds became bigger, he could see some anger on some of their faces, and he knew why.

Because he was half Fallen Angel.

Haruki hadn't expressed what kind of creature he was.

Since he was a Fallen Angel human hybrid, he could pass for a human that knew magic.

A magician of sorts.

He even knew a little bit of magic that could be convincing enough.

He realized during his travels, that people weren't accepting of Fallen Angels.

At least when it came to certain groups.

He never could tell which would be, and which wouldn't be, and this happened to be a group that wasn't so welcoming to the Fallen Angels, though honestly he hadn't come across any that really accepted his Fallen Angel status. It was either the humans didn't know, the Youkai were indifferent or cold, or some downright despised Fallen Angels.

Some even began shouting slurs like "Get out scum!" and things of that nature.

Haruki just stared at them, and went tried to get close to try and force him away, Haruki merely placed his hand forward, summoning some Holy Lightning, pausing the man in his tracks, and caused him to back off with a small look.

"Thanks, for the hospitality, I'll be on my way."

Haruki turned, and began walking away from the area.

When one of the men tried to throw a rock at him, he didn't even look as he caught it, and crushed it in his hands.

The man's face fell into worry when he did that, and watched as the lone half Fallen Angel exited the town.

Some felt remorse.

Not everyone was as cold and callous as them to judge him just for being half Fallen Angel.

But the majority, they see Haruki's wings, they run or they hate.

And unfortunately, it wasn't anything new to Haruki.

When morning broke, Haruki allowed his eyes to open, and stretched within the tree he slept in that night. It was rough sleeping out in the open, anything or anyone could attack him, but he didn't have much of a choice.

He went to move, when suddenly from up above, two girls with bird like arms came shooting down towards him, so he leapt down towards the ground, only to see that chains were coming out from the surrounding areas, and wrapped around him before he could respond.

Landing on the ground with a thud, his hands were behind his back, looking as if he had been bound by choice.

"...They slipped through my barriers, huh..."

He whispered, watching the bird like girls come from up above.

They were rather cute, with mostly short hair length for girls, their piercing eyes went towards Haruki.

"Ara ara, it seems that you're a bit far from your home girls."

He chortled out, one of the girls placed a talon on his face, and pushed him on his back.

"This ones really cute. Lets keep him!"

"Hmmm, we could use someone cute with our group~"

"We could do some things with him~"

"Aah, that precious face makes me excited!"

The girls surrounded him, the harpies that Haruki could tell.

He looked between them, then smiled cheerfully.

"I've not had so much female attention in such a long time, it's a blessing really~"

They...looked unsure of what to think.

The fact that he was simply smiling as if he wasn't in some kind of life and death situation was something they hadn't come across before.

"H-Hey, why aren't you acting more scared?"

One of them asked, seeing that despite his status as being tied down, he was smiling and acting cheerful.

"I've never been tied down by cute girls before, so it's a new experience. I also do like to do the tying down too~"

The girls blinked as he ran Holy Lightning around his body.

The harpies backed off as the lightning surged, and broke through the chains.

Their eyes almost popped out of their heads as he stood up, a delighted smile on his face, a small blush to accompany as well.

"There, now that I'm out of your binds, it's time to begin our dance~"

Cracking his hand to the side, a whip made of electricity formed.

The harpy girls looked astonished as he approached them with a wicked smile…

Five minutes later, and the harpies...had to admit defeat.

"Aaaaaaaaaaaah~ Your lightning feels so good~"

"Do it again~ Do it again~"

"No, do me again Haruki-sama!"

"Haruki-sama! Please use it on me!"

The harpies had huge blushes on their faces, moans escaping their lips as Haruki stood close by, casually allowing his lightning to crack against them, sending surges of electricity through them, but rather than be painful, it seemed to be rather pleasurable.

"You girls really are naughty aren't you? It's alright, I think you're rather adorable~"

[Haruki-sama~ Some more please~!]

They cooed, twitching their lower bodies.

Haruki smiled cheerfully.

"My Onee-sama taught me about people that like this. I just love making people feel excitement, and happy~"

He said in an genuine innocent way, the harpies became even more happy about that.

[Yes! Please some more Haruki-sama! Sorry for trying to hurt you!]

"Ara, don't worry about that now girls, everything's good~" They smiled while panting, some even giving off shy expressions. "But I'm sorry girls, I'm gonna have to go soon, I can't keep playing with you anymore."

[Aawwww...stay, we could have more fun~]

"I want to but I have to find my adorable Onee-sama~ Next time, we'll definitely play even more~ If you ever hear about her, you know how to contact me~"

They groaned in sadness, so Haruki sent some more electricity through them, causing them all to moan really loudly, something that felt like music to his ears.

He then waved, and took off, leaving them quivering excited messes on the ground.

They...definitely had an unexpectedly good time.

At the same time, Serafall arrived in the town that Haruki had been in, and presented herself cheerfully.

She skipped forward, and presented a rather grainy looking picture towards some of the townspeople.

"Hello everyone! Can anyone tell me where this boy might boy?"

She asked with excitement…

But she was met with a sneer from some of them.

"We kicked that creature out last night."

"Good riddance if you ask me, glad he's gone."

The words, Serafall didn't like them at all.

"Excuse me?"

The townspeople came closer, and gave a scornful look towards the picture of Haruki.

"We kicked out the Fallen Angel scumbag!"

"Yeah, thinking that creature can come here, and do whatever he wants!"

"We already dealt with some disgusting Fallen Angel! He tried to kidnap one of the children!"

"My son was almost taken by that creature!"

Serafall looked around, feeling the auras around.

She couldn't feel anyone strong in the village at all.

Yet, they didn't look hurt, damaged, or anything.

The village looked in tact even.

"So...let me ask, even though there is no one in this village that could stand up to that boy, you're all vilifying him for...what exactly? Because he's got some Fallen Angel blood within him? He didn't do anything to you for what I can see. You said he almost took your son...why didn't he? None of you could stop him, so why didn't he just destroy you all if he's the monster you are making him out to be?"

Though Serafall spoke sense, they didn't listen to reason.

"They're horrible! Those Fallen Angels!"

"They tried to kill us once!"

"It was awful! I hate them!"

More and more noise came through…

She honestly was shocked they could say such words against a child.

A child that clearly could've wiped them off the map.

But then the bartender, the kind one that Haruki had talked with, came forward, and walked towards Serafall.

"I'm sorry about all of this. That boy actually did us a good service, he rid us of Stray Devils that had been attacking for months on end. Also, the child they're talking about, he saved the boy by catching him as he fell from a great height. There...There's many that have horrid outlooks on Fallen Angels due to how many perceive them. I actually wouldn't mind seeing that boy again, I didn't truly get to thank him."

Serafall was glad at least one decent person was around.

That could see past everything he was, and that he was simply a travelling lone boy.

"That's good, now could you tell me where he's gone? If you know?"

"Why do you want to find him? You're a Devil, right?"

He cautiously asked.

He didn't want to divulge any information that would lead the boy to be killed or something akin to that.

He knew Devils and Fallen Angels didn't get on, so he wasn't thrilled that Serafall was asking.

Serafall also understood why the man was being hesitant with the true, she would be if she was him.

"That I am~ I'd like to find and thank him!"

"Thank him?"

It seemed odd that Serafall wanted to thank a Fallen Angel.

What that could be for, he didn't know.

"Something personal that's all~ But I can say that as I've followed this child, I've seen that there's more and more places that he's done a lot of good...but, also I've seen a lot of people that have turned negatively against him too...due to his Fallen Angel side. No matter where the child goes...humans push him away, Fallen Angels think he might not be pure enough for them...of course, not all humans or Fallen Angels are like that...but, there are plenty enough for this child to have nowhere to exist."

He tried to search for any deceit within her.

Anything that could lead him to a conclusion that she was hating him.

Wanted him to die.

But he saw none.

Maybe it was only a small chance, but maybe Haruki could have a better life.

At least, that's what the bartender wanted, after everything he had done for them.

It might've seen minor, but thanks to Haruki, they had a place they could live peacefully again.

They didn't have to pay any help, they got it for free, and he never complained once.

It was an act of a kind stranger.

An act he wished to repay.

"That's rather sad...no wonder he kept it a secret from us. Anyway, he's gone to this location." He explained, and showed her on a map. "And...make sure that he has somewhere to return to. Like you said...he doesn't have anywhere to exist...maybe you could give him that place."

"Yup! Leave it to me~"

Serafall bowed, and began running…

But she stopped, and looked back at the men and women all stood looking around uncomfortably.

"That boy, saved your lives. Yet, you kicked him out, just because he had Fallen Angel blood. Did any of you care to ask what his story was?" No one answered, they just kept quiet as Serafall shook her head in disappointment. "A child, doesn't deserve to be treated like this, especially one that protected your town, without asking for anything in return. Yet, you turned on that child for being Fallen Angel..."

Serafall usually wouldn't speak like this.

But she was tired of seeing everywhere she went, this lone child was treated like a monster.

For all the good he did, for every little life he saved…

He got hate.

He got everything thrown in his face.

She found it highly disgusting and depressing.

So she decided to do something herself, and find him, and see what his life was going to be like, and see if she could make it better.

Two days had gone by, and eventually, Haruki arrived at the area he thought Akeno could be in. The information he received was enough for him to take a chance, so he walked into the small town area. It looked to be like an old out of the way type of town, very rural in its structure, the houses even seemed more rural.

He looked for anyone to be about.

But he couldn't see anyone, or anything.

There wasn't a soul on the streets.

He found it odd.

It was midday, and yet no one was around.

He knew something was going on, so he proceeded with caution, wanting to make sure that he didn't get the jump on him, and he himself was able to turn the tides on the enemy if there was a way for him to do so, if an enemy was going to appear.

As he walked forward, he went past a field of flowers…

When he felt a chill down his spine.

Holy Lightning formed around his fingers, knowing that he was about to be ambushed.

As his eyes scanned the area, he heard a noise behind him, turning to see a sword wielder shooting for him. Haruki reacted with quick speed, shooting a bolt of lightning for the sword, and broke it in half, the lightning continued, wrapped around the man, and blasted him backwards.

But as he did, flames came shooting down from up above, so he dispersed it with some Holy Lightning, scattering the flames around his body, only for that to be a distraction, as several men and women came him at him with bladed weapons.

Their weapons surrounded him, so he got into a fighting stance.

Haruki looked around, seeing that he was surrounded.

"Suou, you're there, right?"

He called into the sea of people that had gathered.

No answer.

One man tried to strike him down, but Haruki grabbed his spear, snapped it in half with his hand fused with Holy Lightning, then delivered a palm strike to the man's chest, hard enough to send bolts of lightning through him, and knock him unconscious.

"Any of you charge me, and you'll end up like him."

He wasn't dead.

But they didn't know that.

They seemed to be hesitant.

Yet Suou didn't show himself.

He pushed forward, and called "Come out, coward!" Haruki wanted to look him in the eyes if he was going to be facing off against the Himejima clan members, he wasn't going to allow Suou to get away with it.

Surely enough, Suou soon walked out, and his old eyes met with Haruki's young ones.

He had an old wrinkled face.

But by no means did that indicate he wasn't a dangerous foe.

In fact, he was the most dangerous one around.

"You've been rather difficult to track down."

"The townspeople, kill them?"

"No, I just persuaded them to leave for a little while, I don't kill innocent people."

"Makes a change."

Suou narrowed his eyebrows.

"Listen boy..."

"The information about a girl purifying creatures, is you spreading rumours to lure me here?"

Haruki figured it out now that he was confronted by the people he loathed.

The clan that killed his Mother, pushed and tried to murder him and Akeno.

Though since Akeno wasn't with them, he hoped that she was alright. No matter if he asked, they'd not reveal if she was alive or dead.

"Correct, tracking you became difficult, probably a skill you learned from your Otou-sama, or is it Okaa-sama? Either way, you always were a smart child."

"Speaking about me in the past tense, I'm not dead yet."

Suou raised an eyebrow.

"Yet, being the word I am going to erase this day." As he said it, he snapped his fingers, and an immense flame erupted forward, wrapping around his arms and intensified. "These flames, are blessings from the Shinto God of fire, and I've been blessed with particularly strong flames. I do not like having to do this child, but I will kill you for the purity of our clan. Like we did your Okaa-sama."

The fact that Akeno wasn't mentioned, gave him hope that she was still alive.

That she had been able to escape.

Even if it was a tactic to trick him to let his guard down, Haruki would take it with both hands, and be glad that he had a chance to see his sister again.

"To wash away Kaa-chan's 'sins' of falling for a Fallen Angel. What nonsense are you trying to spew out Suou? You're trying to convince yourself that she was brainwashed, she loved my Otou-san, even to her dying breath."

Suou's eyes angrily stared at the defiant face of Haruki.

"You little brat, you know nothing."

"You know nothing, you killed her due to your paranoid fear that we'd actually be stronger than people within your own 'pure' clan or whatever. Or you hated Fallen Angels that much that anyone of your clan being with one is a sin and they should be executed. But, you wont get me without a fight."

"Is that so?"

Haruki nodded, allowing his Holy Lightning to spread around him.

The density was something that Suou hadn't expected of a child his age.

Due to the constant battles and fights that Haruki had to have thanks in part due to Suou and his group, fighting for others protection, fighting for money, fighting to just stay alive, allowed him to increase his power.

Suou gasped, seeing the lightning grow more and more wild around him, burning and tearing up the ground around him. Some of the ground even was erased due to the output of power that Haruki was releasing.

"Get back-"

Before he could finish, Haruki unleashed his Holy Lightning, and devastated the people around him.

Taking out over ten in one burst, the others used barriers to defend against the wild attack, but some of the barriers weren't strong enough, and they ended up electrocuting them to the point that large wounds erupted over their bodies.

"Needless death, isn't something I believe in. I think it's senseless. But, death of the evil, the wicked, then I think that's rather justified, isn't that right, Suou Himejima? You may end up killing me this day...but, I'll be damned if you get away with it so easily. Suou, you gave up your humanity when you decided to kill my Kaa-chan, so I'll take out as many as I can of your group, to protect my Onee-sama!"

He didn't know if Akeno was alive.

But if she was…

Then he'd make the people trying to hurt her as small as he could.

To give her a chance at a better life.

He loved his elder sister so much.

He considered her the only family that he had left.

"Kill him!"

Suou ordered as Haruki set eyes on him.

"I'm coming for you, Suou."

Charging forward, like a man on a mission, he dodged one strike of a sword, embedded his fist into the body of the man, and sent huge bolts through him, taking him out, then he twisted backwards as a sword came for his neck, at the same time extended his hand upwards, and sent a bolt of electricity through him, flinging him into a crowd.

Then a few more tried to fire flames at him, but he unleashed a good deal of Holy Lightning, breaking through the flames, and shocked their bodies, and dropped them to the ground, blood leaking out of them.

As he did so, one member slashed from behind, Haruki dodged out of the way, but received a large gash on his back, drawing blood.

Gritting his teeth, he turned, and unleashed a heavy punch to the man's face, blasting electricity up close and personal, sending him flying away, smashing into a nearby house, and caused it to crumble down on top of him.

"Come on then, who else?"

He had a smirk on his face.

It wasn't one of cockiness, nor confidence.

It was one of sheer enjoyment of what was going on.

He did like to fight.

He liked it even more against people he didn't like.

He truly loved it when it was people he despised, and that he could truly hurt them, like they had hurt others.

Like they had hurt his Mother, and his sister.

"Damn this boy...his heart is resilient, so he'll fight through any pain he has..."

Suou bit his lower lip, seeing Haruki taking out a good number of people.

He counted at least fifteen by a minutes end.

Even though Haruki himself ended up with several wounds, he still kept going.

Taking down people left and right.

Suou growled, and went to stand up, when Haruki's eyes shot for him, unleashing a wave of Holy Lightning towards him.

"Such lightning, shall disappear!"

Suou extended his hand, and countered with his own flames of destruction, blasting the lightning out of existence, and saw that Haruki didn't give up, he already was charging ahead, summoning more Holy Lightning around him, firing it off in many strong unique looking bursts of power that rained down onto Suou.

Suou flexed his arms, and summoned more fire, surrounding himself in the dense flames, and combated the Holy Lightning. The Holy Lightning and flames collided with one another, and erased the others existence.

"Seems I'll have to pick up the power a bit boy."

Suou increased the flames further, and shot them for Haruki in a huge wave of fire.

Haruki knew he'd not be able to dodge it, so he formed his Holy Lightning into a shield around him, surrounding him like a cage, and took the full force of the flames.

The flames burnt the earth, and broke through his protection of Holy Lightning, and caught his skin, burning him deeply with the power blessed onto the Himejima family.

But Suou was surprised when he saw that despite being hit by Suou's flames, Haruki still was standing.

He didn't even back down for a single moment.

His skin was burnt, his clothes were in tatters…

Yet he was still standing defiantly before him.

"That all you got, Suou?"

Suou bit his lower lip, before waving his arm in the air, creating a pillar of fire from his right hand side, and shot it for Haruki.

He was shocked when Haruki managed to dodge the fast moving fire, and shot for him, using his lightning to blast him forward. His face, still burnt, was smiling towards him. It wasn't a scared expression, it wasn't even a nervous smile.

It was a smile of someone that was fighting for their life, and fighting for what was right.

Even Suou had to acknowledge that kind of smile.

"Boy...you're definitely your Okaa-sama's child, she also used to smile like that. But no longer shall you live."

Snapping his fingers, he created many flaming birds in the sky, looking to be the size of crows, then sent them towards Haruki in sharp fast bursts. Flapping their flaming wings, they came closer and closer, surrounding the boy on all sides.

Haruki saw that he'd not dodge them, so he took his Holy Lightning powers to a stronger level, pushing more and more power into it, and created an omni directional wave of Holy Lightning emanating from his body, and sent it outwards, catching the flaming birds in the attack, and vanquished them out of existence.

More astonishment came over Suou, seeing that the boy was quite talented for his age, fighting him, and forcing Suou to actually try even harder, but when he tried to, Haruki used the moments distraction to shoot a large burst of Holy Lightning towards him.

Suou pushed his flames, and caused the Holy Lightning to be dispersed.

But noted that the Holy Lightning was rather strong.

"His Holy Lightning is powerful. If he grows up, he'll be a true monster. Best take care of him now. It's regretful, but this has to be the way. To rid the sins of Shuri, taking care of her children, erasing them from our family has to be the path I've set forward. I'm sorry child, I don't like taking the lives of children, but for the future of Himejima, you have to be released from this world by your death."

Suou readied his hand once more to fire his flames…

When he felt the temperature drop significantly.

His flames suddenly froze, as did his arms and upper body, leaving his feet, legs, and neck along with his head unfrozen.

"Here I am! To save cute boys from naughty old men! Serafall-chan! At your service!"

Serafall jumped down to the bewilderment of Haruki.

He watched as she casually froze all of the men and women around in a single attack.

The very same people he struggled against, she took down with near no effort at all.

He couldn't help but begin to blush at the sight of her.

Seeing her power, and how effortlessly she stopped Suou, told him of her incredible power.

He definitely had an attraction to women that had power.

"Amazing...a cute girl that can kick some ass..."

He murmured, as Serafall turned, and winked at him.

Haruki blinked in surprise, as Serafall's eyes went towards Suou.

"Mouuuuuu! You're so mean! Picking on a cute boy such as this! What were you thinking old dude?"

Suou looked mildly surprised.

"Wh...Who are you?"

"Didn't you hear? Serafall! Serafall Leviathan!"

Haruki knew the name Leviathan at least, and knew that it was a Devils name.

Suou also recognized the name, and pulled back.

"…I've heard of you now, the Strongest Female Devil."

Haruki's ears perked.

Serafall...was the strongest?

That alone, excited him even more.

"That's right~ Grayfia-chan totally tried to fight me once, but I had to knock her down~ Even that Roygun-chan thinks she's like super strong, but I showed her that it isn't alright to try and be mean! Pink haired woman!"

Serafall exclaimed, Suou narrowed his eyebrows for Haruki who did the same thing back.

"...Are you protecting that child?"

"Yup, wanna have a fight old timer? I'll show you the power of me glittering!"

Suou weighed his options.

Fighting a Maou...he couldn't beat her.

The power level was too ridiculous for him to even attempt it.

Rather than try, his old eyes cast towards Haruki.

"It seems you get a reprieve boy. Next time, I wont hesitate to strike you down."

"I'll be waiting, I'll be stronger next time."

Suou furrowed his brows, before collecting his men.

"Hey! You tried to kill this boy! And threatened him in front of me! You've got guts, haven't you?! Aren't you going to justify your actions?!"

Serafall demanded from Suou, but he shot her an uncaring look.

"This is Himejima business, if the Devils got involved, then something bad might happen to your people."

Serafall didn't care for his tone.

"Was that a threat to me?"

"It's a promise, Serafall Leviathan. It wouldn't look good if you, the Devils, ended the lives of the Himejima here. There would be chaos for the other people that believe in clans such as ours, nor might some of the other factions either."

Serafall wanted to punch him in his face for that comment.

It felt like he was gloating, that he wouldn't be able to be captured, or killed by her, or others might try something, and take advantage of the situation to cause more problems. As the Maou in charge of foreign affairs, she couldn't cause strife, no matter how much she wanted to do so right now.

Unless he actually attacked her, or members of her household, then there was little she could do without being made out to be the aggressor.

All she could do was silently curse as he walked away.

Haruki would've gone after him, but saw the power different between them, he probably wouldn't have won if the fight continued. Still, it burned inside that he couldn't at least blast the smugness off of Suou's face.

Once they were gone, Serafall grinned, as she turned towards Haruki, exclaiming "Well, looks like they're..." but then saw that Haruki was already taking off.

"Hey! Wait!"

He didn't reply.

He didn't know what the Devil would do to a Fallen Angel human hybrid.

He knew Fallen Angels and Devils didn't get on.

Especially a Maou wasn't going to take a shine to him, so that was going to be difficult.

Serafall though jumped forward, spinning in the air, and placed her hand out as she landed before him.

"I insist you stop~"

Haruki raised an eyebrow, before trying to walk in the other direction.

Serafall pursed her lips.

"Please! Stop for a moment cutie~"

"I can't, you're going to try and kill me."

"I wouldn't try and kill you, I'm a good girl really~"

He tried to walk off.

Serafall though caused the ground around him to freeze.

He looked down, then towards Serafall.

"You're quite strong, I wouldn't mind trying my power against yours~"

Despite the situation, he couldn't help the playful tone.

Serafall pursed her lips.

"Aah, so you're a boy that likes fighting huh?"

She said in a cute manner, pointing her finger towards him, and allowed some ice to slowly leak out of her finger. Blowing it to Haruki, the cold air ran through his hair and his face. He felt some ice growing across the areas he wounds were. Even the areas of the burns, cooling them down, without hurting him.

Feeling Serafall's power on him...he couldn't help but blush even more.

"I like fighting strong people, it isn't my favourite thing."

"Hehe, I think we should get those wounds attended too~"

Haruki wasn't sure of her angle, what she really wanted.

"Why would you help me? Seeking to make me apart of your peerage?"

"Ooh, I didn't even think of that! Aah, having someone as cute as you in my group, people would be envious! Even So-tan would be so jelly that I got to have a cute boy in my group~"

"I'm...eerm...I'm kinda confused right now..."

He admitted.

He truly didn't know what to make of Serafall.

"Hehe, well lets just say that I wasn't coming here to try and have you join my peerage. But, I did come here to say that I am thankful."

"Thankful? Of what?"

Serafall walked closer.

Haruki watched on.

She got closer, and reached out her hand, but he pulled back, something Serafall noted.

"Wherever I went, all I heard were peoples nasty words about you, at least, when they knew you were part Fallen Angel."

She began, Haruki lowered his eyes.

She then continued with a soft smile.

"But, I also saw the wonderful things you did also. Saving peoples lives, rebuilding places after some kind of disaster wandered through, and other things. Heck, the reason I'm looking for you is because you protected a town where my cute So-tan was at the time, and I wasn't there. You stopped some meanies trying to hurt innocent people, and my So-tan, so to me that makes you the best person ever! If something happened to So-tan, I wouldn't be able to forgive myself! But, you saved her, she told me as much, so I had to come and find you! No matter how long it took!"

Haruki blinked as Serafall bounced up and down.

But then she gained a humble smile.

"When I asked about you, I heard nothing but people praising your bravery that day. You even got a lot of wounds, right? Yet, you kept fighting on, why did you do that?"

That was an easy question to answer.

"Eh...well, my Onee-sama, she always told me that I should do what I can for the people around, my Kaa-chan also did the same thing. She helped a stranger, a Fallen Angel at that, and nursed him back to health. I wanted to be like them, to do some good in this world, even if...even if it rejects me."

Serafall exhaled slowly.

She understood his feelings now.

"I'm sorry...people can be mean of people they don't understand. They shouldn't judge you just because you're a Fallen Angel, part of one anyway. Baraqiel's son, I'm guessing."

"I was born from him, and got my Holy Lightning from him...that's all."

He said while exhaling slowly, showing he wasn't thrilled to speak about him.

"So your Onee-sama, where is she?"

Haruki's face fell, and a few tears began to come to his eyes.

Serafall saw that he was trying to hold them back as well.

Probably because, he always had to hold them back.

"I...I don't know where she is...I don't even know if she's alive..."

"I heard about an incident with Baraqiel's lover. That's your Kaa-chan?"

"That bastard Suou...and his followers...they killed her, they tried to kill my Onee-sama and me...I tried to protect my Kaa-chan...I tried to stop them...but I wasn't strong enough...I couldn't save her, there were so many of them, and by the time I got towards her...she was already gone. I didn't...even get to bury Kaa-chan..."

Serafall closed her eyes silently.

Hearing his story, she could feel the pain behind the words.

The anguish of being unable to save the people he loved more than anything.

And she continued to listen to his words.

"...So, I did my best to save Onee-sama...I forced her to run...I made sure she couldn't follow...while I led them away from her...it's all I could do to make sure that she could have some kind of chance to survive, get away and hide, so they couldn't find her...but, I failed Kaa-chan..."

Serafall brought his head to her chest, surprising him.

His cheeks turned red, feeling the softness of her chest.

Her delicate fingers ran across the back of his head, allowing her fingers to lace through his black hair.

His eyes went up towards her, seeing that she was beaming down at him with a grin.

"You're a child, fighting off an army of strong people. I'm sure your Kaa-chan never thought you failed her, I'm sure she'd be proud you did everything you could to save your Onee-chan, saving innocent people, even if they reject you now. I don't know your Kaa-chan...but, I'm sure if she raised such a kind boy, then she must've been wonderful." Haruki smiled, despite the tears flowing out of his eyes. "And your Onee-chan...she could still be out there. Don't give up hope yet, if she's as resilient as you, then she'll be out there, waiting for you."

Haruki hoped she was out there.

Waiting for him.

"Unless...Suou's already killed her. I tried to find her...for over a year now, I haven't had any luck...I hear rumours about someone that looks like her from time to time...but, I haven't been able to find her…I don't know if she's still even out there...and this year, if it's taught me anything...I don't belong anywhere. The Fallen Angels wouldn't want me due to my half breed status, some Youkai, like the previous village I was in, turned me away as soon as they saw my wings, the humans would reject me immediately finding out about these wings...the Church would want me dead for my status, the Devils would kill me due to my status as well, no offence."

"None taken~"

"So...there's no place I belong, other than with Akeno-nee-chan. My Onee-sama...she's...the place I belong with. Wherever she is...is where I want to be, I don't care where that is...as long as it is with her. I want...I want to protect her...I couldn't save Kaa-chan...but, I can protect Onee-sama...if she's still alive."

Serafall could understand his mindset very well.

From what she's seen over the three months she had been looking, the places she saw had indeed been helped out by him, but those that learned his heritage did turn on him. Seeing the darker parts of the world at such a young age, it would bring a sense of isolation, of loneliness, feeling as if there was no place that he could call home.

If he had to do that for a year, even over, she could see why it would just reaffirm that no place would ever want him. Always being rejected despite all of the good that he had clearly done, just looking back at the town she was at a few days ago, they rejected him, despite him taking care of a problem that had plagued them for months, and saved a child from suffering serious injuries.

And from what she understood, though he was a young child, he felt responsible for not being able to save his Mother. Something she could see wasn't something any child would be capable of doing, she saw the power of Suou. While she could wipe the floor with him easily, there would be many adults that couldn't even stand up to him.

"What about your Otou-san?"

"I don't know what he's doing, and I don't really care either."

Serafall, sensing the animosity, decided to leave it alone for the moment.

"I see...at least, come with me. I'll take care of you~"

"Why would you do that though? You hardly know me."

Serafall stuck out her tongue.

"Because, I like, people like you~ Say, I don't even know your name~ Mines Serafall, Sera-tan if you like~"

"Serafall...my name is Haru...Haruki Himejima."

"Haru-chan is a cute name~"

"H-Haru-chan?"

He asked, bewildered.

She nodded with a strong smile.

"Yup, Haru-chan! Now, time to get your wounds taken care of~"

Haruki didn't fight her.

He was too tired to fight her.

Clearly she was really powerful, so he couldn't even if he tried.

"Serafall-san...why did you search for me?"

"Didn't I say?"

"You could've had some Devil servants search for me...so why did you take time to do it?"

Serafall showed a bright smile.

"Because, I wanted too. Hearing what had been going on...yeah, I wanted to see you, face to face. To see what you were really like...and I have to say, I'm glad I did. Plus, with you saving So-tan, that only made me want to try harder! Even So-tan wishes to thank you!"

Her words caused him to feel slightly embarrassed, and ended up having a small blush on his cheeks, something Serafall found cute.

She also seemed to be genuine with her words, and actions.

It didn't seem like she was faking it either.

But for the first time, since his Mother, since Akeno…

He had found someone that didn't want to kill him.

That didn't reject him just because he happened to have Fallen Angel blood.

It was refreshing, he was glad that there were some people out there that actually were kind people.

End chapter!

So, this is the story that won the poll! First of all, thanks to everyone that voted! And as you can see, Haruki Himejima, is eventually going to be apart of Serafall's group! He's gonna have his own reasons to become a Devil in the near future. Haruki himself, is also something of a sadist, quite like his big sis in some aspects, and he also likes having fights against strong opponents, and also has some intriguing ways to use his powers, like with the harpies in this chapter, finding some enjoyment from that so it's gonna be fun writing some scenarios around him.

So, I've been thinking about Haruki having a Longinus, and I've got a few in mind, so I thought I'd put it to a vote, these are the ones I thought would fit best with Haruki, or what he could do with a few of these to make it rather interesting.

Dimension Lost. (Though it doesn't have raw power, but with Haruki having raw power with his Holy Lightning, its power to block any attack, and transport anything within the mist to wherever the user wants is something I could see being immensely useful for him, even being ab;le to teleport his own attacks to catch opponents off guard, maybe even use the teleporting aspect on opponents in ways Georg didn't, the Balance Breaker would also be different to Georg's and would be more fit for battle.)

Absolute Demise. (Ice and Holy Lightning working together would be pretty awesome, freezing the opponent and then shattering them with lightning, creating lightning infused ice creatures to attack, or some other cool stuff, the Balance Breaker I've got some ideas for, and might incorporate some of the canon Balance Breaker for this Sacred Gear into it.)

Regulus Nemea. (The Earth breaking powers plus Holy Lightning would be truly devastating, the Balance Breaker would be similar to Sairaorg's but he'd have an axe as well. Only thing would be that I wouldn't know what Sairaorg would get in replace of that, since it's a big part of his powers to have that, so suggestions on what would replace that always welcome. Either that, or just not have Sairaorg appear, though I do quite like Sairaorg's character.)

So yeah, those are the ones I thought would be best. I did think of some others, but I didn't think they'd fit with how Haruki's going to fight, or would be redundant like Incinerate Anthem since he's got Holy Lightning, he wouldn't need Holy Fire.

Finally, for those who didn't see the poll, it is a harem so suggest away! There are some I do have ideas for, but the only confirmed one right now is Serafall.

So until next time, please vote if you wish, and thanks for reading!
