Surprise!
So, because I am such a nice person I have written ANOTHER Fifty Shades fic for you all to read and enjoy. I actually really like this one as it is something different to what I am used to writing and I found this as a bit of a challenge for me. Suspense and Thriller is not something I've really posted on here before so I'm excited for you to see this.
Just to give you a couple of facts about this story; there is no BDSM as there is so much more going on in this story and I don't want to overdo it and take the focus away from the main story. We are going to see a slightly softer side to Christian then we have seen before.
Please enjoy!

Stalked: Chapter 1: Celebrate (Saturday April 23rd 2016)
Ana
I am so happy for Kate. Elliot is a really good match for her, they really are the perfect couple and I'm so glad that they are getting married. Kate really deserves a happy ending and she is getting that with Elliot. I have no doubt in my mind that he is going to treat her like a Queen for the rest of their lives, he makes her so happy and she makes him happy too.
I will never forget the first time I met Elliot; we had been out celebrating the end of college at the local student bar and we were so drunk. Kate was on the dance floor with some friends and bumped into Elliot, literally, spilling a while drink over him. She told him to watch where he was going like it was his fault... he was enthralled with her that very second. He brought her another drink to replace the one she had thrown over him and they spend the rest of the night dancing, drinking and kissing. I went home before her and when I got up the next morning, who do I catch doing the walk of shame? Elliot Grey. I'm not sure who was more surprised; he muttered an apology and rushed out the door.
Kate tried to play it cool for the next three hours as she waited for him to call and when he did, she nearly tackled me for the phone. They went out on a date that night and they haven't looked back since. I wish I was as lucky as them two one day, I hope to find my soul mate and be even half as happy as they are with each other.
Someone sat down in the chair next to me and I turned to see who it was, it was Elliot's brother Christian Grey. He was Seattle's most eligible bachelor with a net worth of about $2.2 billion... yes that's right... $2.2 BILLION. I nearly had a heart attack when Kate told me that Christian was Elliot's brother.
"Good evening Anastasia" He greeted me kindly.
"Good evening Christian" I replied.
He always insists on calling me Anastasia even after I have told him to call me Ana. He said he prefers Anastasia so I just let him go with it, there are not many people I allow to call me by my full name but with Christian I do let it go.
"No date?" He questioned.
"Christian, you and I both know that I haven't been on a date in eight months" I said and heard him chuckle.
Eight months ago I met a guy in a bar, a really nice guy and he invited me out to dinner and I agreed. Turns out he works for Christian and when he found out about my date, through big mouth Kate, he gave me a call to inform me that the nice guy I was on a date with had a wife at home and three children.
"You have awful taste in men" He mocked.
"And where is your date Mr Eligible Bachelor?" I questioned with raised eyebrows.
"As if I was going to bring a date here" He scoffed "Between my mother, Mia and Kate... I couldn't make anyone endure that" He said.
"So there is someone?" I pressed.
"No Anastasia, I'm not dating anyone either" He replied.
I have known Christian for the past three years and I have never known him to date anyone or have a girlfriend or boyfriend... we're not quite sure what his preference is. Elliot keeps trying to set him up with both men and women but Christian always declines the offer. When I bring it up to Christian he just says that he is working too much and too hard to have time for anyone else, obviously he hasn't met the right person yet because if he had he would have made time for them.
I finished the last drop of wine in my glass and placed it back down on the table, Christian picked up the wine that was set up on the table and poured me another glass, without me even saying anything, he was a real gentleman.
"Thank you" I muttered, he smiled and turned to the person on the other side of him, beginning a conversation.
Kate has made it clear that she wants to set Christian and me up with one another but I've told her that as we're good friends, I don't want to ruin that. He's a really amazing guy and I would be lucky to end up with someone like Christian but I think we are better off as friends, we're actually really good friends and when we go on these group nights out with Mia, Elliot and Kate it is usually Christian and me doing our own thing and having our own conversations for the rest of the night.
The sound of tapping glass brought everyone's attention to the stage where Kate and Elliot were standing with smiles on their face so large that I'm sure their cheeks were hurting.
"Can we have your attention please?" Elliot said into the microphone "First of all, Kate and I would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who made it tonight. Thank you for all of the gifts, cards and well wishes. Kate and I are so excited to begin this new chapter in our lives but before we can get to the actual wedding we have a few things to organise first" Elliot reached behind him and grabbed a navy coloured robe that said 'Best Man' written on the back of it in white making everyone laugh at the silliness of it "There is no one I would want by my side on the biggest day of my life then my brother" I smiled at Christian "Christian... will you be my best man?" Elliot asked.
Everyone made happy 'Aw' sounds as Elliot stood on the stage with one arm outstretched with the cheesy robe. Christian stood up and walked over to the stage, he took the robe and shook his brother's hand and everyone cheered. Christian gave me a small smile and wave to everyone and hastily made his way back to the table.
"That's very sweet" I commented.
"It's only because he doesn't have any other friends" Christian joked.
Elliot moved away from the microphone and Kate took his place.
"Ana" She started and all eyes turned to me, I felt my eyes go wide "You are my best friend, more like a sister than a friend and I would love it if you would be my maid of honour. There really is no one else I would love more to be there" She said.
She held out a white fuzzy robe with 'Maid of Honour' in glitter on the back.
I stood from my chair and walked over to the stage to take the robe of Kate. She grabbed hold of my hand and gave me a teary smile "Love you" She said quietly.
"Love you too Kate" I replied just for her to hear.
As I walked back to the table with my new fuzzy bathrobe, people cheered and applauded me. I sat down in my seat quickly and Christian smiled at me.
"Mia" Kate started "My new sister... please will you be my bridesmaid and stand up there with us?" Kate asked.
"Hell yeah I will!" Mia called from her table and got up to go and collect her own fuzzy robe with 'Bridesmaid' written in glitter on the back. Everyone laughed and applauded Mia as she went to get it; she looked so confident as she walked towards them and smiled happily at everyone as she went back to her table.
"Thank you again for coming this evening. Enjoy the wine on the table and if there is anything you want or need, please make sure you speak to one of the lovely team members who are scattered around the room." Kate finished.
Everyone applauded them as they shared a quick kiss.
"To Kate and Elliot!" Christian called out as he stood from his chair with his glass raised.
Everyone in the room followed his lead; we all stood from our chairs and held our glasses high and proud "To Kate and Elliot!" Everyone's glasses clinked together and we took a sip before sitting back down in our seats.
A beautiful slow melody began to play on the speakers and people, mainly couples, started to get up and go and dance.
"You know, it is customary for the Best Man and Maid of Honour to share a dance at the wedding" Christian stated.
"I've seen you on nights out Christian, you can't dance" I laughed.
"Is that right?" He stood from his chair and held his hand out "C'mon then, I'll show you my moves" He said.
"Who am I to turn down Seattle's most Eligible Bachelor?" I teased and Christian rolled his eyes with a smile on his face.
The two of us walked out onto the dance floor amongst the other guests, Christian wrapped one arm around my waist, pulling me close to him. His other hand glided down my arm leaving goose bumps in their wake and held my hand. I rested my free hand on his shoulder and let him guide me across the dance floor.
Christian's arm tightened around me and I rested my head against his shoulder as we danced. I breathed him in, whatever aftershave he was wearing smelled expensive but so God damn good. I could feel Christian's head rest partly against mine and I'm sure to anyone looking we looked like a young couple, I smiled at the thought of Kate and Elliot watching us dancing like this. It's Kate and Elliot's dream for me and Christian to get together.
The song came to an end and a more upbeat one came one. Christian and I pulled away from one another and both shook our heads with a laugh and made our exit from the dance floor and back to our table. I noticed our glasses had gone and sighed, I didn't finish the wine.
"I'll get us some more glasses" Christian stated and left the table in search of fresh glasses.
I picked up my bag from the floor under my chair to check my phone when I felt hands on my shoulders; I turned around to come face to face with a very smiley and happy Kate. She sat down in Christian's empty chair next to me.
"I saw you dancing" She said happily.
"It was just a dance Kate" I replied.
"Do you know what would be the perfect wedding gift to me? You and Christian finally ending up together" She told me "You two clearly have a thing for each other. Neither of you are dating anyone else. He is hot and you are gorgeous... you are perfect for one another" She said.
"Kate I love you but I don't think me and Christian are going to end up with each other. We are way too different. I'm sure Christian doesn't even wipe his own ass after going to the bathroom, he has bodyguards, a housekeeper, a cook, and PA's and people constantly doing everything for him. I am an editor at a publishing house who has never left the country. We are just too different" I explained.
"You're not that different" She replied.
"Who's not different?" Christian asked as he came up behind us.
"Nothing, girl talk" Kate stated and got up from Christian's seat "I'm going to find my fiancé; you two have a lovely evening" She smiled at us and walked away to find Elliot... or watch us from a distance... probably both.
Christian sat down in his seat and placed a glass of white wine in front of me.
"What was Kate talking about?" He asked.
"Doesn't matter" I replied as I sipped my wine.
"Elliot spoke to me about the same thing" He said knowingly.
"Did he?" I questioned.
"Kate and Elliot have made it very clear that they want us to get together or hook up at the very least" He answered.
"They mean well" I said not really knowing what else to say to that.
"Well they should keep their noses out" He replied in a slightly annoyed tone as he reached for his glass of wine "I told Elliot to leave it be. I don't want things to become awkward between us or anything" He added.
"It won't"
I placed a kiss on his cheek and he smiled in return.
As amazing as I'm sure being in a relationship with Christian would be; I think we should just stick to how things are. It works for the both of us and I think we're both happy with how our relationship is right now. I don't want to ruin anything because we are such good friends and we are really close friends, I don't want things to change.
So there we have it, the first chapter of this story. Right now it all seems so calm, sweet and kind but just you wait... everything is about to start changing and Ana is about to get herself involved with someone beyond her control.
Thank you for reading; I hope you enjoyed the first chapter. Please can you make sure that you follow, favourite and of course leave a little review!
