Hello! I am not a new writer or new Sailor Moon/SeiUsa fan, but as a big SeiUsa fan anyways for years now, I wanted to write this celebrity AU fanfic I've had stuck in my head for months now! Which is great because this will update weekly or every other week because all chapters are written already so no long waits! Yay!

Also, I want to thank my younger sister for editing these chapters for me.

So, I hope you all enjoy it!

Moonlight (You're My Starlight): Part 1

"Usako?"

"..."

"Usako?"

"..."

"Usagi!"

The man with black hair, standing next to a bright pink bed with stuffed animals covering at least half of it, sighed to himself in annoyance. Regrettably, he grabbed the edge of the cover, ripping the blanket off as he yelled, "USAGI!"

The person in question jumped up in alarm and then rolled off the bed, a loud thump resounding from the hardwood floor.

She whined as she sat up, rubbing her head where it had hit the side of the white nightstand.

"Mamo-chaaaaan!" she whined, dragging out the man's name.

Mamoru, aka Mamo-chan, could only roll his eyes in response, setting the blanket back onto the bed. "Good morning, Usagi."

She sat up, her long blonde hair tumbling over her shoulders in waves. She glared at the man in front of her, clearly disgruntled at the fact that he had interrupted her deep sleep.

She huffed and crossed her arms, her chin in the air. "I'm not saying good morning to you."

Mamoru could chuckle this time, a small smile crossing his handsome face. "You don't have to, but I hope you do know that you have rehearsals today for the Juban Music Festival tonight."

Usagi looked at him, noticing he was dressed in a dark gray button-down with the sleeves rolled up, dark blue jeans, and a black vest. He had on shiny black dress shoes, black sunglasses sitting atop his head.

He looked every bit of his role as a pop star's manager.

She squinted. "Why are you dressed so early?"

"Because rehearsals are in forty-five minutes."

The singer tangled herself out of her sheets on the floor and made a beeline for the bathroom. He heard the shower click on.

"Mamoru, why didn't you tell me?!" she shouted, but it came out as more of a screech.

"I told you last night that you had rehearsals at eleven o'clock, so you needed to be ready by the time I got here."

"You could've called me to wake me up!"

Mamoru didn't answer, instead glancing over at the young woman's phone. It seemed that she'd slept through four alarms and missed seven calls from him.

"She has to have her phone on silent…" he muttered to himself. Finally, he answered, "I would hate to always have to push you out of bed, Usako. You're not a child anymore."

The only reply he got was a muffled answer that almost sounded like she was ranting.

While she was in the bathroom, Mamoru made up her bed and tidied up the teen's room so she wouldn't have to waste anymore time when she finally emerged from the bathroom.

A few minutes later, Usagi came out of the bathroom, her hair wrapped up in a towel and robe on. She ushered Mamoru out of her room. "Out, out! I need to get dressed!"

In her bedroom, Usagi threw on black leggings and an oversized pink sweater with a bunny design on the front. She pulled on matching pink socks and tennis shoes before grabbing her own sunglasses, backpack, and phone and meeting Mamoru in her kitchen.

She made a face at the box of granola bars in his hand.

He only laughed as he tossed her one. "You can have ramen after rehearsals."

She grinned.

…..

At rehearsals, Usagi wrapped her hair into a high ponytail so it wouldn't get in the way as she performed. Since she wasn't in her usual Silver Moon attire where her hair was wrapped into two buns, it was safest to keep it away from her face so she wouldn't get a mouthful of hair.

She was next to rehearse after the idol, Sailor V, finished her rehearsal of 'Heart ga Tonjyau Sora Dakara'. Sailor V had been active far longer than Usagi. While she had only been in the idol world for two years now, only recently blowing up in extreme popularity last year, Sailor V had been on the scene since she was twelve, being admired by millions around the world, especially young girls.

Despite that, she had become one of Usagi's closest friends and had given her tips on how to maneuver in the idol world from dealing with possessive fans and people who didn't know what space and privacy were to making sure she did everything as professionally as she could.

When she first started, Usagi didn't mesh well with the word 'professional'.

She watched as Sailor V finished and walked off the stage, a small bounce in her step. When she spotted her fellow blonde, she squealed, "Usagi!"

"Minako!" she cheered, stumbling as Minako jumped into her arms.

"You weren't here earlier, so I guess you just arrived. You slept in late again?" Minako asked knowingly.

Usagi's cheeks turned pink. "Mamo-chan didn't wake me up."

Next to her, Mamoru shrugged, his lip twitching up in amusement at the fact that she was still sulking.

Minako laughed as she patted Usagi on the back. "Well, that's not so bad! You made it after all! I think The Three Lights rehearse after you, but they're not here yet."

"The Three Lights? I thought they weren't performing tonight."

The Three Lights were a popular girl group with an almost androgynous image, having also been around as long as Minako. They started off as a pop group, but slowly over the years, they transformed into a ballad group, enchanting people and finally able to showcase the vocals they hadn't been able to when they were pop singers in crop tops and short shorts. Now they were all suits and roses and it seemed their popularity had grown even more from there.

"They weren't, but their schedule was cleared abruptly, so now they're performing their latest single, 'Search For Your Love'," she explained.

"That's all they've been performing the last six months," Usagi mused.

"Well, it is a hit. Just like you'll be performing 'Ai wo Shinjiteru tonight'."

"I'm singing 'Moonlight Densetsu'!" Usagi argued. "... And then 'Ai Wo Shinjiteru'."

Minako laughed. "Well, good luck up there. I have to get going because I have an interview before tonight's performance, so see you later!"

With that, Minako left, leaving Usagi behind with Mamoru. She turned to him. "Do I have any more engagements after this?"

"You're free until tonight. You haven't had a break in awhile, so you should go enjoy yourself after this."

Usagi threw her arms around him. "Ugh! You're the best!"

Usagi's rehearsals took a little longer than expected because she'd forgotten a few of the dance break steps, but once her backup dancers jogged her memory, things went smoothly. She had noticed during her final break that The Three Lights still hadn't arrived, so she had come to the conclusion that the three women might not be performing after all.

Who needed a rehearsal with vocals that good in the first place?

Usagi wiped the little sweat on her face with a small face towel. She placed it on a table nearby with her water and went to take a quick walk around the area outside the performance booth. As she walked out, she saw two women walking toward it, one with long brown hair and the other with long silver hair. Both wore sunglasses.

Usagi's eyes went wide as saucers. She immediately recognized them as two out of three of the members of The Three Lights.

The short silver-haired one looked upset while the taller one tried to console her. "Why isn't she answering her phone?! We told her rehearsals were at twelve-thirty!"

Usagi slowed down a little before they crossed paths, curious as to what the issue was and listening in.

"I'm sure she's coming, Yaten," the brown-haired woman said.

The silver-haired woman—Yaten—scoffed. "She always does this!"

"Listen, she's been having a bit of a… rough time lately. Just cut her some slack."

"I'll cut her some slack when she doesn't arrive an hour late to all our appointments! We were after that Silver Moon girl and she finished twenty minutes ago!"

At that, Usagi sped up her, pretending that she hadn't heard the whole conversation as she passed by.

"Argh!"

"Yaten."

"Fuck this!"

Usagi turned around and saw Yaten stomp away, Taiki slowly following behind her with a deep sigh and her hands tucked into the pockets of her cardigan.

It looked like they were missing their third member, Seiya, and Yaten didn't sound quite happy. In fact, she sounded as if she wanted to murder someone. Chills ran down Usagi's back.

Seiya was the most popular member of The Three Lights, known to have the best vocals. She was also known to be pretty, almost handsome, chill, laid-back, and kind. She was usually free and about, her lack of care of being seen by the public eye not always a good thing. If there was one thing the public knew about Seiya, it was that she was a perfectionist when it came to music, so it did seem a little abnormal for her to not show up and leave her fellow members high and dry.

Usagi decided that the affairs of The Three Lights were not her business just as her stomach growled loudly. She pouted. This was all Mamoru's and his stupid granola bar's fault.

Whatever the issue was, Usagi hoped that the ladies of The Three Lights could fix it before their performance at the Juban Music Festival tonight.

…..

Seiya stared at the menu on the board above, holding her chin in her hand as she browsed the menu with way too many options in her opinion. Should she try the ice cream soda? It had been a long time since she had one of those, and she was in need of one despite it barely being one in the afternoon.

The young man at the counter sighed. "Have you found anything you want yet?"

"No. But I'm getting there."

"Just call me over when you decide what you'd like to order if we're not closed by then."

With that, he walked away, and Seiya muttered, "Asshole", under her breath.

She hummed to herself again, ignoring her vibrating phone in her pocket. It was probably Yaten again, and she wasn't answering no matter how many times she called. She would turn it off after she ordered. She couldn't be bothered with a damnrehearsal. She already knew how it would go and it wasn't like they were dancing either. The whole thing was useless.

Now, if only she could decide on a drink...

She heard the door open but didn't look at who it was entering the cafe. Seriously, this place had way too many options.

"Excuse me."

"Yes?"

Seiya didn't bother to pay any heed to whoever was talking to her.

"Are you ordering something? Are you in line?" the voice asked her.

"You only get one cream soda, Usako," another voice suddenly piped in.

"You're so boring, Mamo-chan," the girl huffed. She spoke to Seiya again. "So are you ordering?"

"Not right now," Seiya said, still staring at the board.

"You know," the girl started, "if you're overwhelmed by the options on the board, the raspberry ice cream soda is one of their best."

Finally, Seiya turned to the girl who was speaking to her, pushing her sunglasses down to the bridge of her nose to get a better look at her. She was a few inches shorter than her and wore a pink cap that covered long blonde hair wrapped in a braid. While she was obviously trying to shield her eyes under her hat, they were a deep blue. Kind.

"Is that an expert recommendation?" Seiya asked her with a small smile tugging at her lips.

The girl shrugged. "Just the recommendation of someone who's a regular here."

"Huh…"

The girl ordered first, Seiya chuckling when she realized the girl had gone against the wishes of the man accompanying her and ordered two raspberry ice cream sodas for herself. Seiya ordered one too, trusting the recommendation of the girl who seemed to know this place like the back of her hand and was friendly with the young man at the counter.

Seiya slipped into a booth and took a sip of the ice cream soda, genuinely surprised at the sweet and creamy taste. Neither the ice cream or raspberry overpowered the other. It was just right for her tastes, not too sweet but sweet enough that she could enjoy it without gagging.

She took her phone out of her pocket and frowned at the twenty-one missed calls from Yaten and the two simple texts from Taiki. There was also one from their manager, who was out of town for the weekend but always quick to yell at her if she did anything remotelyrebellious.

Taiki - Sent 12:16 PM: Where are you?

Taiki - Sent 12:18 PM: Seiya. Don't be difficult.

Iron Mouse - Sent 12:30 PM: GET YOUR ASS OVER THERE TO REHEARSALS, KOU, OR I SWEAR I'LL KICK YOUR ASS MYSELF WHEN I GET BACK! I DON'T GET PAID ENOUGH FOR THIS SHIT!

Seiya immediately turned off her phone, choosing to actively ignore the messages. Today was not a day she could function on stage. She really wished their schedule for today hadn't been changed to make space for them to attend the Juban Music Festival. It would only be full of newer singers she didn't know or had never heard of. When she had skimmed the flyer weeks ago, the only person she recognized was Sailor V, who had debuted around the same time The Three Lights had. Everyone else faded into the back of her mind.

She hated the annual Juban Music Festival.

It was a place full of good memories that only became bad ones in the long run. She wasn't showing up until tonight. The less time she had to spend at the place the better.

Seiya sipped her ice cream soda again, dreading tonight when she'd get an earful from Yaten and multiple disappointed stares from Taiki. She expected a call from Iron Mouse later, complaining about how she always had to clean up after Seiya when in reality, she didn't.

Iron Mouse just hated her job, but she was good at it.

A loud thud emanated from beside her, causing Seiya to jump in her seat. She turned her head to see the blonde girl from earlier face-flat on the floor next to her, groaning in pain and her hat cast off to the side.

What had she tripped over? There was nothing there.

Seiya leaned over and lifted her sunglasses. "Are you okay?"

The girl let out another moan of pain, and Seiya sighed. She stood up, grabbed the girl's hat off the floor, and bent down in front of her. She set the hat on the table and grabbed the girl by her shoulders, helping her sit up on her knees.

"Hey, are you okay?" she repeated.

The girl looked up, tears at the corners of her eyes but a sheepish grin on her face. "I-I'm fine… I think… I just can't feel my face at the moment, but it will—"

The girl stopped mid-sentence, gasping. Her eyes widened as she rubbed her head, brushing her bangs up in the process. "You—"

"I'm?" Seiya questioned, urging her to continue. The girl was acting as if she hadn't just fallen flat on her face.

"Seiya…" she breathed and then covered her mouth, eyes wide still.

"How do you—Oh, of course you know." The girl still stared at her in… It wasn't awe. It was something she couldn't quite make out.

"N-No, I'm not a fan! I mean… I am a fan, but not in the way you thi-think!" she stammered, her cheeks turning pink. "You just…"

"Lost for words?" she joked.

"No!"

"Usako?"

"Mamo-chan!" the girl, Usako apparently, said. Seiya looked up to see a handsome man approaching them. This must have been the same man from earlier. She hadn't gotten a good look at him.

Mamo-chan (apparently) sighed. "Did you trip over air again?"

The girl turned red in the face with embarrassment. "It wasn't air!"

"I think it was air," Seiya muttered under her breath. She cleared her throat. "Well, I think your boyfriend can take care of this."

"He's not my boyfriend!" the girl protested, her voice pitchy. "He's—ow!" She groaned in pain again.

The man bent down and poked the girl's head a second time, albeit softer.

"We'll stop by the hospital real quick before we head out for hair and makeup," he said in a long-suffering tone. "We don't want a bruise on your head for tonight's performance."

Seiya shot up an eyebrow.

Performance?

"Huh?" Both strangers looked at her, and Seiya realized she must have said that out loud.

"Sorry," Seiya said quickly.

"You don't know who I am?" the girl asked in surprise.

"Am I supposed to?" Seiya couldn't help but ask derisively.

Who the hell did this girl think she was?

"... Nothing," the girl said slowly as the man next to her helped her up. She stood up shakily, holding onto his arm for support.

Seiya stood up along with them and grabbed her hat off the table. She placed it back neatly on the blonde's head. "You don't wanna lose that again."

"Th-Thank you," she said.

"No problem." Seiya shrugged. "Thanks for the recommendation, by the way."

The girl smiled at her, and Seiya felt her heart skip a beat. It wasn't a thump, but a soft knock.

The man also smiled at her. It was smaller than the girl's but genuine. "Seiya, right? Thank you for making sure she was okay while I was in the bathroom. We look forward to seeing you tonight."

With that, the two moved to exit the café. Seiya watched until she could no longer see them, her arms crossed over her chest and her eyebrows furrowed.

Who were they?

And what did they mean tonight?

Why would she see them at the Juban Music Festival?

Seiya groaned, aggravated, and sat back down in her seat, sipping at her ice cream.

…..

Seiya arrived at the venue at four o'clock, deciding that she should at least be courteous enough to be on time for hair and makeup. She frowned at the sight in front of her: people bustling around, food trucks set up, fans of different singers, and security surrounding the place. It was already so lively.

With a hoodie, cap, and sunglasses on, her face more concealed than it had been earlier, Seiya, after showing her ID and badge to a lady at the front desk, headed to where the dressing rooms were stationed. She exhaled, removing her jacket, hat, and shades before carefully maneuvering through the busy halls. She had some trouble finding their dressing room but eventually realized the rooms were arranged in alphabetical order, so theirs was toward the end of the hall. When she got there, she prepped for the worst before opening the door.

Immediately, multiple faces looked up at her. Taiki was in the middle of getting her hair tied up, sitting in a robe, while Yaten was in black, high-waisted suit pants, a thin black tank top tucked into them. Her hair was hanging over her shoulders, and she was probably waiting for a stylist to tend to it.

Yaten bristled, jumping up and throwing the magazine she had been reading on the couch. "Where the hell have you been, Seiya?! It's been fucking hours!"

"My phone died," Seiya said simply as she entered the spacious dressing room, closing the door behind her.

"The fuck it did, you liar!" Yaten hissed, pointing a finger in Seiya's face.

"Calm down, Yaten," Taiki said, standing up. The stylist, Siren, had finished her hair.

"I won't calm down! She missed rehearsals and this isn't the first time!" Yaten whipped around to face Taiki. "What she deserves is an ass-kicking."

"Seiya." Taiki had said her name in that disappointed voice Seiya dreaded. "This was very irresponsible of you."

"That's not the first time you've told me that," she shot back, the words coming out harsher than she intended.

"Well, then act responsible," Taiki clipped, walking out of the room dressed in her purple pantsuit and black heels.

Yaten shot her a withering look before dumping herself in the seat Taiki had previously occupied so Siren could start on her hair.

Seiya stood at the door, not daring to move until their other stylist, Crow, grabbed her by the wrist and dragged her into a chair herself. "You look a mess. Stop sulking for ten minutes so we can pick out your suit and send you to Niyako to do your makeup."

"I'm not sulk—"

Crow gave her a look that immediately made Seiya shut up. "Sweetie, anyone can seen that you've been upset and it's not at your bandmates despite the fact that they should've cussed you out, but enough swear words flew out of Yaten's mouth to make up for that."

Seiya didn't say anything, sinking in her chair as the woman began flipping through a clothing rack.

"Don't sabotage your friendship with your bandmates. More importantly, don't sabotage yourself, darling," Crow continued after realizing the other woman had no reply. "I'm not sure why you're upset, but you have a job to do and fans to please tonight. I'm sure half of the people out there are starlights."

"I'm sure you'll feel just a little, if not completely better, when you get back out there on stage," Crow finished as she finally took a dark red pantsuit off the rack. It was similar to Yaten's with red high-waisted pants, but instead of them being wide-legged, they were tailored along with a matching suit jacket to fit. There was only one button to close it, and to wear underneath, she had a black, sleeveless crop top.

She shoved the outfit into Seiya's arms and placed a pair of black heels on top of it. "There. Now you can go get dressed in the other room across from here where Niyako is waiting. She was also doing Sailor V's makeup today, but she should be finished now."

Seiya stood up, thanking the older woman in front of her. "Thanks."

Crow rolled her eyes. "I'm just your stylist. Now stop sulking."

As soon as Seiya left the room, she heard Siren say, "She seems so sad these days."

She heard Crow groan loudly. "No shit, Siren. I was trying to avoid saying that to ease the tension in the room, but thanks for the reminder."

"You're welcome, chief!"

Seiya could only chuckle a little to herself before starting for the next room. As she did, she saw a tail of blonde hair round the corner, and she stopped in her tracks. Blonde hair… Like that girl in the café.

But there were plenty of people with blonde hair. Maybe not super long blonde hair like the girl at the cafe, but still.

Seiya shook her head. It was none of her business. She needed to focus on getting to where Niyako was before Yaten decided to storm over and drag Seiya there herself.

….

"Silver Moon! Silver Moon! Silver Moon! Silver Moon! Silver Moon!"

Usagi heard the cheers of her fans, relieved that after having had to wait two hours, it was finally her turn. The most popular acts were always scheduled for the end of the show, and as a growing pop idol that blew up over the last year, she had been pushed more and more toward the end of events.

She was standing behind the stage listening to the MC talk while her makeup artists finished some last minute touch-ups on her face.

She whined. "Michiru, I think that's enough. I already have these wings on."

"Aren't they cute? I think Haruka did a good job," Michiru gushed as she stepped back to admire her work. "Don't you think so, Mamoru?"

Her manager looked up from his phone and smiled softly at Usagi. "She looks amazing."

Usagi blushed and Michiru giggled. "See?"

"Hey, Silver Moon!" a stagehand said. "Three minutes until go time!"

She raised a thumb at him with a quick smile before looking back at Michiru putting the makeup back in the yellow fanny pack on her waist.

The cheers grew louder as the seconds ticked away. Her fans; they always made her feel better and less anxious right before she went on stage. It was comforting that there were people out there who actually loved her.

"You'd think they would stop cheering with the MC talking," another voice chimed.

Haruka. The one responsible for these damned wings.

Paired with her wings was a triple pleated skirt in yellow, blue, and dark pink. She wore a leotard under it with a wing shaped bow on the front. Adorning her arms were white gloves rimmed with red at the cuffs as well as white boots rimmed with that same red at the tops. She had puffy pink see-through short sleeves and a dark pink collar with a heart and moon dangling from it.

Her hair was, as some of her fans and the media put it, the most iconicthing about her. Her hair was split into two buns, long and wavy pigtails hanging from each of them. It was all her ownhair, and it worked despite the length.

"One minute, Silver Moon!"

"You ready?" Mamoru asked her, putting a comforting hand on her shoulder.

"I'm ready as I'll ever be."

"Don't mess up my outfit while you're up there, kitten."

"Haruka," Mamoru called.

The woman shrugged. "She's accident-prone. We all know that."

Usagi gave her a flat look, and Haruka only smirked. Usagi was hurriedly pushed out onto the dark stage by a set manager, barely having time to fix her ear mic before she stood facing thousands of enthusiastic fans.

The crowd cheered once again.

"Silver Moon! Silver Moon! Silver Moon!"

And she sang.

Her first song was a pop-ballad, "Moonlight Densetsu," which the crowd tried their best to sing along to. When she transitioned into her second song, "Ai wo Shinjiteru," that was when the crowd became increasingly wild. As she danced and sang, Usagi was sure she heard someone scream and then faint. The sound of the person falling to the floor had been bizarrely distinct.

Her pigtails swung around her as she danced like waves, not a single strand entering her face or her mouth. They had really mastered this hairstyle on her because the public loved it, so they made it her signature style for all her performances, fansigns, and interviews. It was only at home or in other casual settings that she wore her hair down, preferring for it to breathe when she wasn't working.

When she sang the last lyrics, she posed, and applause and cheers ignited throughout the crowd. She smiled, breathless, and waved at the crowd before walking off the stage.

Mamoru was there to greet her backstage, Haruka and Michiru temporarily gone it seemed. A bright smile lit up his face as he said, "You did amazing out there, Usako!"

She panted before replying. "Thank you!"

"I'll go get you water," he told her, temporarily leaving Usagi alone in the active space. She knew Minako was after her, so she wondered where she was at the moment—

"You're a singer?"

"Huh?"

Usagi turned around to see the Seiya of The Three Lights, standing behind her with wide eyes and dressed in a tailored red suit, her signature long ponytail falling down her back.

"Seiya!" She pointed a finger and then snatched it back, realizing how ridiculous she looked.

Seiya walked closer to her, her eyebrows furrowed in confusion. "You're a singer?"

"Yes…" It was Usagi's turn to be confused. She wasn't trying to be arrogant and hated to come off that way, but.. Did the Seiya of The Three Lights really not know who she was? She was everywhere to the point that even Usagi was tired of seeing her own face so often.

"You really don't know who I am?"

Seiya looked irritated now. "Why the hell would I know you? You asked me that earlier. Learn to be a little humble."

Usagi narrowed her eyes, balling her fists. "Both times, it was an innocent question. It's not my fault you live under a rock."

Usagi didn't like being rude, but she hated when people made assumptions.

Seiya scoffed, crossing her arms underneath her chest. "Not everyone has to know who you are. You could stand to be a little less arrogant."

"How did you even conclude that?!" Usagi asked, bewildered.

"Well, I don't know. Maybe by asking me twice—"

"Oh, don't be smart—"

"You didn't have to say that I lived under a rock."

"Well. If you hadn't been rude… but it's true."

"I'm not the rude one here."

"But I'm not the rude one either for being genuinely surprised. In fact, it's a breath of fresh air that someone doesn't know me for once!" She threw her hands up in the air in exasperation.

Seiya snorted. "Well, no one would know a blonde, wide-eyed newbie like you. They all kind of mesh together, you know?"

"You—"

Usagi was cut off by the voice of a woman shouting, "Seiya, where the fuck did you go after hair and makeup?!"

Seiya didn't bother to look at the screaming person as she competed in a mini glaring contest with Usagi. "Well, I came to watch Sailor V's performance, but Dumpling over here distracted me."

"Oh, no…" Usagi heard Taiki mutter.

Yaten, meanwhile, expressed exactly what Taiki wanted to say. "You're arguing with Silver Moon?! Really?!"

Seiya's mouth opened and closed like a fish's before she whispered, "Who?"

"Silver Moon, Seiya," Yaten said, a little calmer. "She's only been everywhere the past year. Do you live under a rock?"

"Why the hell am I supposed to know that?!" Seiya cried.

Taiki only shook her head as she walked past Seiya and toward Usagi. "I'm sorry. Your real name is Tsukino Usagi, right? Please excuse my friend's behavior. She's been a little upset lately."

Usagi smiled triumphantly at Seiya, ignoring the glare the woman sent her and turning back to Taiki. "It's okay. It's not anything I'll hold a grudge over."

"I'm not upset," Seiya growled.

Usagi ignored her while Taiki said, "Again, I'm sorry. Just… Seiya?"

"What?" It almost came out as a whine, and Usagi thought it was cute, even if she was annoyed at the woman.

"Come apologize."

"You didn't even ask me what happened!" Seiya said, incredulous.

"Because I already know it was your fault since you can't put personal feelings and issues aside," Taiki said. "Apologize. I know when you're lying, so don't come back to me until you actually have."

Taiki gave Seiya a warning look and walked off, Yaten cackling as she followed after her.

Seiya groaned, facing Usagi. "Fine. I… I'm sorry for being rude first."

It was obvious she wasn't saying anymore than that. Usagi laughed, now finding the situation more amusing than infuriating. "I'm not mad. Maybe my question confused you, but since you aren't aware of who I am, let's try again."

"Hmm?"

"I'm Silver Moon. I'm a newer idol." She held out her hand.

Hesitantly, Seiya took it, muttering, "I'm Seiya."

"I know. I'm a fan and have been since high-school," Usagi explained. "To make it even, I had no idea who you guys were until then either."

"You're—"

"Nineteen."

"I'm twenty-one. Safe to assume that you were also tripping over air back then?"

Usagi snatched her hand away, her face heating up. "No! Yes! It's none of your business!"

Seiya snorted in response.

"Usako?"

"Mamo-chan!" Usagi exclaimed, shifting her attention away from Seiya. "Over here!"

Mamoru jogged up to Usagi, placing an ice cold water bottle in her hand. "Here."

"Thank you," she said and then grabbed a hold of his arm. She gestured to Seiya. "Mamo-chan, remember Seiya?"

Mamoru made a face that he immediately changed when Usagi indiscreetly bumped her elbow into his side. He coughed. "Ah, we ran into you earlier. I want to thank you again for taking care of her. I don't know what we would've done if she had injured herself."

Seiya smirked. "Not everyone specializes at tripping over air."

Mamoru let out a sound between a cough, laugh, and wheeze.

Usagi let go of his arm, casting glares at both Seiya and Mamoru. "You're not supposed to laugh, Mamo-chan! Stop laughing!"

Mamoru put a hand over his mouth, bent over in a fit of laughter as Usagi playfully hit him. "It's not even funny!"

Usagi turned back to Seiya, who looked like she wanted to say something, but she was interrupted by a stage manager coming up to her. He whispered something in her ear, and Seiya nodded.

"Sorry, Dumpling," Seiya said, and Usagi didn't miss the nickname that rolled off her tongue. She patted the buns on top of her head. "Sailor V is about to go on and we're up next, so I have to go get ready."

"Oh! Of course! Don't let us distract you."

Seiya winked. "I hope you enjoy our performance."

"You're The Three Lights."

Seiya chuckled. "True."
