This battle was getting intense and Simba found himself fighting with Ramses himself. Ramses was an older lion, which means that he has more experience in combat than Simba does, which was scary.
"I will not let you take away my son." Simba snarled.
Ramses sneered and let out a cruel chuckle. "I will not he ordered or undermined by some stupid boy playing dress-up in his father's legacy!" what he said caught Simba by surprise. "Oh yes." Ramses looked arrogant. "I know all about your father. He was a weak leader and wasted his power."
Simba growled again and he charged at Ramses and pushed him to the ground. He was clawing furiously at Ramses, but the deranged lion managed to push him off, considering the fact that he was slightly larger and more powerful than the king of the Pride Lands.
"Don't you talk about my father like that!" the king shouted at him with pure anger and hatred. "Any one who dares say such things about my father will pay the price!"
"You got reap guts, Simba." Ramses commended him. He gave the king a powerful swipe to the face with his right pair of claws.
This was getting Simba some deja vu, back when he was fighting with Scar to gain his rightful place as the ruler of his home. Unlike Scar, Ramses seemed far more formidable abd powerful. Granted, he was nowhere nearly as powerful as Inuwa was before Kion killed him.
Speaking of Kion: he clawed at Makucha in the face, and rammed his side, making him hit the ground hard with dust spewing in the air. "How do you like that?" Oion taunted him
"Not bad, kid." Makucha panted. "You learn fast for a kid your age. Perhaps I should kill you as an adult and not a child."
"You can try, Makucha." Kion narrowed his eyes at him, "but my friends won't let you."
"I don't care how many of you there are." Makucha panted. "I'll take you all on at one!"
"Think fast, kid!" said Mpishi, zooming into Ono with great speed. She was nowhere near as fast as a falcon, but she was still fast.
"Is that all you got?" Ono dodged out of the way just in time, but Mpishi wasn't giving up so easily. Neither of the Lion's Bane were going to give up without a proper fight. "My parents fly faster than you!"
"Now you're just being mean." Mpishi said. Ono and her swooped down at one another and they were locked on to each other, pecking their beaks and trying to claw with their talons.
Tuma was having difficulty fighting off many wild dogs with his immense strength. Sure, a gorilla like him would easily kill painted dogs without ease, but there were so many of them in Akilah and Veya's pack. Somewhere around a hundred of them. Another thing that would make them tough and formidable was their teamwork. While Tuma was punching and pounding at incoming dogs at the front, several other dogs were jumping from behind him and bitting at his back and back of the neck to try and incapacitate him from fighting again. Of course, this gorilla was easily getting these dogs off of him with his powerful strength and muscle, but he was getting more and more tired after he was trying to pound every painted dog in his way that was trying to fight him.
Five dogs were injured in the process, but Akilah latched his teeth onto a clump on the crazy ape's back, and making him bleed, but not strong enough to pull off a piece of skin. No, it just hurt the ape, and that was all it did. Not only his teeth, but Akilah was using his claws to scratch parts of the ape's back. "Stupid dog!" Tuma said. "Get off of me!" he ultimately threw him off into the dirt, making him yelp a few times.
"Leave me dad alone!" Okove shouted at the top of his lungs before charging at the gorilla and clamping his teeth on his right big toe, making him howl in more pain
"Get it off of me! Tuma screamed. "Get it off!"
Okove would not let go of his toe and it was like he was going to bite bite his toe off in a very gruesome manner. Tuma was continuing to roll around in pain, but the dog pup would still not let go of the gorillas' toe
"Okove!" Veya shrieked. She was visibly scared at seeing her youngest son be in danger like this. Akilah was almost as scared, but at the same time, he wss proud to see how much of a ferocious fighter his youngest child was right now. "Akilah, do something!" Veya begged her mate.
"Got it. I'm coming, son!" Akilah charged again and tackled Tuma to the ground, falling on his back with a loud thud. at last, the evil gorilla managed to pry Okove off, and was flying in the air.
"My baby!" Veya shrieked, running over to catch her boy. She was running as fast as she can and ultimately, caught him with her arms, and the pup felt the sweet feeling of her tummy cushion him from the impact of the fall. "Goodness, are you alright, Okove?"
"Yeah. I almost bit his toe off, but it really felt good. Did you see how I held on, mom?"
"I did." Veya said. "And... you were very brave and courageous back there, sweetie."
"I could have bit all his toes off if I wanted too."
"Well, why don't you leave this to me and your father, sweetie. Your siblings can look after you."
"OK, mom. but if those guys hurt you, I'm going all-out."
Veya couldn't help but laugh and say: "Well, ok. But I prefer if you stay safe." she rushed over to join the fight while the pup couldn't help but feel proud of what he did. Okove was growing up fast and he felt a new sense of confidence in himself after he pulled off a heroic stunt.
Chikelu and Draak were still trying to push one another in a battle of strength and muscle. Draak had an idea, and since they were near a waterhole, the crazy hippo had the idea of pushing the slightly larger rhino in the water and drown him since rhinos were not good swimmers at all.
"You deranged marauders are nothing but a plague to all the good animals of the Pride Lands!" Chikelu shouted.
"Whatever! no shut up and die!" Draak shouted before trying to push Chikelu into deeper water. It looked like Draak had the upper hood, but then: the brave rhinoceros hooked his horn under the upper mouth and the mouth was a hippos' weak spot. With a forceful throw, Chikelu threw him into the shallow waters, hard.
The thud was so loud that it made every one of the good guys stop for a moment and look at what just happened. Chikelu was a really clever beast and while rhinos were rather blind, their strength made up for what he mostly couldn't see..
Draak laid in the shallow waters, unconscious and stunned from the impact of the fall.
"Holy mackerel!" Harif exclaimed at seeing Draak get easily turned over by the white rhinoceros.
"If you mess with my friends," Chikelu said, "You mess with me. You paid the price for making me angry, hippo.
The sight caught the vicious honey badger off-guard and he felt Bunga tackle him, and they were tumbling in the dirt as they fought. "You are becoming a thorn on my side, Bunga, you know that?"
he felt his face getting mercilessly punched over and over again. "I get that a lot!" the young honey badger shouted before he felt himself being pinned by Makucha.
"Brazen as ever, eh Bunga?" the leopard asked.
The juvenile badger tried getting himself off, but Makucha was pinning him to the ground good. it was just then he felt his face clawed by Fuli while he was not looking.
"gah! You stupid kitty!" the leopard yelled in pain.
he was caught off-guard and forced himself off of Bunga. Meanwhile, Simba was still going head-to-head with Ramses and they were fighting ferociously. It looked more ferocious than how Simba was fighting with his own uncle years ago. Unlike Scar, Ramses was insane and crazy.
Simba suffered a few heavy scratches from Ramses and a few bites, but the king stood his ground. Of course, Ramses didn't go unscathed either. No, he had a few blood stains and bite marks himself. Ultimately, he backed Simba up to a tree and Simba bit his nose.
"I will make you suffer for that, Simba!" Ramses yelled. Simba tried something clever, something Scar did to him years ago. he swiped some dirt at Ramses' eyes like how Scar swiped some hot, burning pebbles from the fire over Pride Rock during thag great battle. "My eyes!" Simba bit his neck while his opponent was off-guard. "I've had enough of this!" Ramses exclaimed. He lifted Simb with his arms and legs, and threw him into a log, knocking the king unconscious.
The unhinged lion was panting from all the fighting he and Simba went through. Admittedly, Ramses knew Simba put up quite a fight, and left him with a few bruises and scratches. It was almost like how he fought Rani's father all those years ago, and how he lost.
With Simba out of the way, Ramses turned his attention over to Kion, who saw his own dad get owned like that. "Dad!" Kion shouted as he rushed to his father's aid.
Chris, who was watching this the whole time was quite surprised. "This is getting crazy!" he said
"Just keep your head down, Chris!" Joel said. "You could get hurt."
"OK dad."
Kion rushed over and tried to wake up the king. "Come on dad, wake up! you gotta wake up!" It was no use. Simba was really knocked out cold.
"What a shame." said Ramses, walking up to him. "I expected more from the king. But, I guess i expected wrong." he sneered. Kion gave a great yell of pure anger and hatred and charged at him, but he was easily dispatched by a large claw pinning him down to the ground with a mighty paw.
"Get off me you monster!" Kion grunted to break free.
"You have no idea how long I have dreamed of this. Now I got you right where I want you. This time, no one will stand in my way. Any last words before I strike you down?"
"You're an evil lion, Ramses." Kion said. "You'll never find true happiness."
"Oh? we'll see, after I kill you." he readied his right claws to delivery the final blow when he saw someone push him. It was Rani, who growled and tried clawing at his face in a frenzy. Ramses was strong enough to pry her off and the female lion tried charging at him, but was easily knocked out by a swipe of the unhinged big cat's.
"Rani!" Kion said. "No one hurts my girlfriend!"
"No holding back this time." said Ramses. He was about to kill off Kion when Chris jumped in front of him, ready to defend his own friend. The crazy lion stopped for a moment and began to laugh. "Well, isn't this nice."
"I won't let you hurt my friend." Chris said. "Leave him and my new friends alone."
"Ho ho ho. And how do you think you' going to stop me? You have no claws, no sharp canines, you're weak, boy. Try and give me your best-"
Ramses was suddenly cut off when he felt a sharp pain his right side and the sound of a loud "boom!" was heard, like ab explosion. Falling to the ground, everything went silent with a faint echo from the loud blast. It was revealed that Joel pulled out his gun and took down Ramses with one bullet.
The fight stopped and everyone's ears were slightly heard from the noise of the gunshot. "Get away from my son." Joel flatly said. he rushed over to his boy's side, along with Kion's aid. "Are you kids ok?"
"Yeah. Thanks to you." said Kion, really grateful.
Joel smiled and said: "sorry if it was loud. but I saved you. You and Chris. If not for me, you guys would have ben done for."
"You're right." said Kion. "Thanks Joel."
"Glad to help, Kion."
