Okay, so I have gotten a few reviews stating that the hero's conflict with Spider-Man was forced.
And I can see why people would think that, but I don't fully agree.
Let me explain. You have to look at it from their perspective. Because a lot of people have trouble looking at characters and remembering that they know more than said characters do.
They had no way of knowing what a threat Shigaraki would become. But we do because we've seen it.
They had no way of knowing that Izuku could escape All Might of all people. But we do because he's the protagonist and it is way too soon for him to get captured, if he were to get captured that is.
The teacher's plan was to hold Spider-Man there long enough for All Might to arrive. They didn't actually think that they could stop Spider-Man by themselves.
They also didn't anticipate Shigaraki waking up so fast, which is probably the most contrived part of that chapter.
Should they have prioritized the villain over the vigilante? Yes. However, it wasn't just any vigilante. Spider-Man is a huge threat, and as teachers, they recognize that he becomes more and more capable each day. And they also know that All Might's time is coming to an end. So they got kind of over-eager.
And for Eraserhead, it's even worse because he literally caused this. So despite his rational mindset, he would be a bit more rash than usual when he literally has All Might and Spider-Man in the same place.
Did they ultimately make a mistake? Yes. But they're human. They make mistakes.
The heroes in this story are going to make a lot of mistakes. Not because they're incompetent, or because I hate heroes, but because they're human.
That being said, I also don't feel like I did the best job in illustrating this, so I apologize.
Also, some people pointed out that Nezu should have made some countermeasures since he knows about this...well I have something to say about that both in and at the end of the chapter.
Anyway, onto the story.
"Man I can't believe an actual villain broke into the school!" Ochaco exclaimed as she ate her food with her friends.
"And to think I lied to everyone and told them it was only the press!" Iida lamented.
"Well, you didn't know about it at the time. And even then, if you hadn't people just would have been scared and panicking." Tsu told him.
"Yeah, you did the right thing, Iida!" Izuku told him with a reassuring smile. "I still can't believe you managed to calm the crowd that big! I guess I should expect that from the vice rep of the hero course!"
"Yeah Iida, I knew I was right to vote for you!" Ochaco gave him a friendly pat on the back.
"Didn't you vote for him just because he had glasses?" Tsu asked her.
"Regardless of for what reason, I am glad to be given the position. I will do everything in my power to uphold order in class 1A, and I'm sure Yaoyorozu feels the same!" Iida shouted. "I hope you all listen closely to us during our trip to the USJ!"
"ACK!" Izuku was drinking a bottle of water when Iida said that, and now he was choking.
"Midoriya!" Shouted all three of them.
"I-I'm ok!" Izuku quickly recovered from his choking. "D-Did you say you were going to the USJ?"
"Yeah?" Tsu wasn't sure why Izuku reacted like that. "Why?"
WHAT THE FRICK!? Izuku shouted internally, but on the outside, he kept smiling, trying to act excited. "Oh it's just...it must be exciting...the unforeseen simulation joint."
Why the hell are they still going!? I told them there was an attack!? What!? What!? What!? WHAT!? Izuku was internally panicking while trying his best not to let it show.
"Hey that reminds me, Midoriya do you like heroes?" Ochaco asked him.
"Oh, I love heroes!" Izuku said a bit too quickly, eagerly hoping that it would distract him from the topic at hand. "Let's talk about them! A lot!"

"And so that's why I need to call in sick that day," Izuku said, as he finished explaining the situation to his mother who was sitting on their couch, listening attentively.
"Ok...but dear...if they are planning an attack on All Might, then they might have something capable of fighting him." Inko gave him a worried look. "Izuku I know you're very powerful but...to fight something on All Might's level."
"I doubt they have something that can actually beat All Might." Izuku shook his head. "Most likely they have something that they THINK can beat All Might. And there is a lot of low-life scum that think way too highly of themselves. Ultimately All Might should be able to beat them by himself...but still, the villain might be powerful enough to hold All Might off for a bit, and I doubt they'd send just one villain to fight All Might, two pros, and a group of U.A. students, they probably have a bunch of villains. Maybe even a few powerful ones. And if that's the case then class 1A might get hurt. Which is why I need to be there."
"What is U.A. thinking of sending those students there, knowing there will be a villain attack?" Inko looked truly disgusted. "I suppose I can't stop you. I'll call the school and say you fell down the stairs."
"Can please say something less embarrassing?" Izuku suggested with a slight blush on his face.

Meanwhile, in his hideout, Mysterio looked over a table, muttering as he planned out the future when suddenly his phone rang.
"Swarm. What is it?" Mysterio asked. "It's about Midoriya...interesting...a villain attack on the U.S.J. with the intent of killing All Might. And U.A. knows about it and intends to let it happen...interesting. Yes, this will help our cause greatly. Although we might have to interfere, to get the most out of this event. I believe All Might could use a little diversion."

Aizawa hated this.
He hated the fact that he had to lead his students into a possible villain attack, and he couldn't do anything to stop it.
Of course, he could just say fuck it and keep the kids here. But then Nezu would be forced to fire him, and the H.P.S.C. would likely try their hardest to force a replacement that's approved by them.
And honestly walking into a villain attack is probably better for these kids' futures than letting them get taught by the H.P.S.C..
And so he and walked into the U.S.J. facility with the kids behind him, feeling a heavy guilt rest upon his shoulders.
It should be fine. They have All Might. And as foolish as he was, his strength was absolute. Even Spider-Man didn't even bother trying to fight him.
Everything should be ok.
He opened the door to the facility and saw that only Thirteen was standing there.
And All Might was nowhere to be found.
What the fuck. Was Aizawa's first thought.
His students were all amazed about the facility, and about Thirteen, but Aizawa ignored all of them and simply ran over to the space-themed hero.
"Where the hell is he?" Aizawa whispered to her very aggressively.
"I don't know. He just...didn't show up!" Thirteen answers sounded slightly panicked. "Do you think the villains changed plans and ambushed him on his way here?"
"I hope that's the case," Aizawa said. "At least the students won't be harmed."
"So do we continue?" Thirteen asked.
"I think we have to." Aizawa sighed. "But stay on high alert. This situation either got much better...or much worse."

You know, I think I was right about vents. They're already in my top ten list of friends. Izuku thought to himself, as he hid in one of the floor vents, a few yards away from where Thirteen was standing. Then again, I've never had ten friends so that's not much of an achievement.
Izuku had snuck into the building...rather easily. Shockingly easily.
He figured the floor must have some kind of motion sensor so he just made sure to never touch the ground, as he inspected the facility.
The vigilante had arrived a few hours earlier just in case, and seeing as no one had been around he got himself familiar with the facility. Partially because it could be useful for the possible upcoming battle, and partially because he thought it was all really cool.
Once Thirteen had arrived, Izuku hid in the vents. After all, he couldn't risk having to leave before the villains arrived.
After waiting for an hour, class 1A finally arrived.
With no All Might in sight.
Wait what!? Why isn't All Might here!? Izuku was sweating now, as a feeling of panic shot through him like a lightning bolt. Is he late! Why would he be late! Doesn't he know how important this is!? Did they...did they really not take my warning seriously? I...That can't be...they can't be this careless, can they?
He didn't believe it. He didn't want to believe it. U.A. was the best hero school in the world. Run by actual pro heroes! They should know not to take threats like this lying down!
And yet...class 1A was still here. And All Might wasn't.
Izuku watched nervously as Eraserhead and Thirteen talked to the children as if there wasn't a massive issue.
This went on for a few minutes...long enough for Izuku to gain hope that maybe, just maybe the villains decided to change their minds...maybe they knew Izuku told them about their attack, and like any reasonable human being anticipated that they would alter their schedule.
And then a purple misty vortex appeared, right in front of the fountain, and Izuku's blood went cold, as the villain who escaped from U.A. came out.
Followed by an army of villains.
Instantly Aizawa and Thirteen went in front of the kids.
"They're here!" Aizawa shouted. "Why aren't isn't the security system kicking in!?"
"Damn it! So much for those extra precautions!" Thirteen said.
The security system's down!? Izuku thought, panicking even more. Damn it the villains must have thought of that! They probably brought someone with a quirk that interferes with electronics!
"Aizawa sensei, what's going on?" Momo asked her teacher.
"Yeah are these guys like...actors...pretending to be villains?" Mina asked, quite a bit unsure of herself. "Because they're really intense."
"No, these are villains. Real villains." Aizawa told his students, causing their eyes to widen in fear and shock.
Meanwhile, the villains had finished pouring out of the portal, as the purple mist shrank down, into the form of the misty man, Kurogiri.
The lead villain, Tomura Shigaraki, with Kurogiri and his giant muscular monster by his side, looked around the facility. "Where is All Might?"
"It appears that he isn't here. Perhaps he's running late." Kurogiri speculated.
"Is that so...how annoying," Shigaraki said. "But since we have some time to kill before the final boss shows up, let's grin some fodder!"
"Thirteen, get the kids out of here!" Aizawa ordered, as he put on his goggles and got ready to fight. "I'll hold them off."
"What!?" Shouted out a few students.
"That's insane!" Shouted Mineta. "There's too many of them!"
"Let us help!" Shoto immediately offered, ready to freeze the villains the first chance he got.
Aizawa was about to say something, but a familiar voice beat him to it.
"Not necessary!" Izuku burst out of the vent behind them and flipped over in front of Aizawa. "Hey, Eraserhead, nice to see ya. A bit confused on what the heck you're doing here but we'll talk about that later."
"Spider-Man!?" Shouted class 1A as they yell out in surprise at seeing the famous vigilante come out of nowhere.
"Spider-Man. Of course, you'd be here." Tomura smiled maliciously under the hand of his face. "Good. I'm going to enjoy this."
"Eraser, go with Thirteen and get the students away from here!" Izuku told him. "I'll take care of these guys."
Aizawa looked hesitant, but ultimately, he would have to trust in Spider-Man's strength. "You better not die."
"Don't intend to." Izuku quipped. I am really getting better at keeping up this act under pressure.
Eraserhead turned to his class. "Everyone, head to the exit! Now!"
"Wait, we're just gonna leave him to fight all of them alone!?" Ochaco protested.
"Spider-Man is absurdly strong. We'd only be getting in the way." Asui said as she grabbed her friend, as she and the rest of the class along with the two teachers, ran away leaving Izuku to face off against the villains.
"Firing squad! Take him down!" Shouted one villain with gun fingers as he and a bunch of other villains took aim at Izuku.
Izuku got into a crouching battle stance. "Alright. Time to get to work."

While Izuku took down the villains with ease, Tomura and Kurogiri stood there and watched.
"Shouldn't you say the keyword and just, knock him out?" Kurogiri was really confused as to why Tomura was letting Spider-Man get this far.
"Because I want to increase his confidence. It'll make what happens later so much more enjoyable." Tomura said cockily.
"...You do remember the whole thing, master said about hubris right?" Kurogiri reminded him.
"It's not hubris if you're right!" Tomura countered
"That's...literally, what every person who falls to hubris thinks," Kurogiri explained.
"Pah. Go stop those kids from getting out." Tomura ordered. "Scatter them across the different areas like we planned."
"There is an issue with that," Kurogiri said. "They have Eraserhead with them. If I try to scatter them, Eraserhead will erase my quirk the second he sees me."
"I see...that is a problem," Tomura said. "Well if you can't bring them to the fodder. Bring the fodder to them."

The students had run a good way from the fight, as such the shock began to wear off.
"Why was Spider-Man here!?" Jiro asked. "It's not like he was just passing by and saw some villains?"
"Yeah, it's like he'd knew they'd be here?" Sero said.
"That's because he did," Aizawa explained. "We all did."
After that was said, all the students suddenly stopped and looked at their teacher in shock and confusion.
"Don't stop! Get to the exit!" Aizawa shouted at them.
"Aizawa sensei, what do you mean you knew this was going to happen!?" Momo asked her teacher, looking extremely befuddled.
"Look, we can talk and stop and talk about this when we're not in mortal danger!" Thirteen told them, pointing at the exit. "Now everyone get out!"
Unfortunately, Kurogiri had other plans.
Suddenly a purple portal opened over the exit and dropped boulders from the landslide zone in front of it.
"Shit." Aizawa cursed.
Then more portals opened up around them, and villains poured out, surrounding them completely.
"God damn it!" Aizawa once again got ready to tussle. "Kids, it looks like we don't have a choice. Get ready for your first experience with real villains."
So yeah. That happened.
Next chapter Izuku will be fighting the Nomu and Class 1A will be handling the army of villains alongside Eraserhead and Thirteen.
Now let's talk about a few things.
Firstly, Nezu's only had three days to make countermeasures, and the H.P.S.C. refused to let him change anyone's schedule, so he couldn't have gotten any more of his staff to join them. Not to mention he still wasn't taking this as seriously, because once again All Might is All Might and he has no clue about Nomu or Mysterio. Not to mention in canon no security systems went off at the U.S.J when the villains attacked, meaning that either it didn't have any security or the villains had somehow handled that, and I'm going to assume the latter because it makes more sense. So even if Nezu added more security bots or something, they wouldn't go off.
Also, you are probably wondering why Mysterio would want Spider-man to fight Nomu if he doesn't want him to die. The answer is because he doesn't actually know about Nomu and how powerful he is. Mysterio knows of All for One but he doesn't know what he's doing exactly. He doesn't even know this attack is All for One's doing...but he will soon.
Now let's talk about just how powerful Izuku is. Not just in comparison to the Nomu but in general in the MHA universe.
And I'm gonna be using a tier-like system to make it similar for everyone.
When Izuku first got bit, he was in low B-tier. In this tier, you could find characters like Mt. Lady, Kamui Woods, Hawks, and Present Mic.
So right now, Izuku is at the bottom of A tier. This is the same tier where you'll find most of the most powerful heroes, with Endeavor being at the top of this tier along with Miriko and Ryukyu, as well as villains like Twice and Overhaul.
At his max potential, Izuku would be in S-tier...but he would be the only one in S-tier. Because the next tier is SS tier. This is where you find overwhelmingly powerful characters, so much so that it would take an army of B and A tier characters to even hope to defeat them, and there would definitely be massive casualties. These characters are All Might, the U.S.J. Nomu, All for One, and Gigantomachia.
Of course, this list only ranks power levels, not who would win in a fight. This isn't DBZ, if Overhaul could touch All Might then All Might can't power through that, he's just dead(But that would probably never happen). And of course, certain quirks can counter others. For example, I would put Hawks in B-tier, because he has said himself that he doesn't do well against particularly strong opponents by himself, but his quirk is useful for dealing with armies of fodder, which is why he could easily take out Twice, despite me putting Twice in the tier above him. Not to mention sometimes smarts and circumstances can also lead to characters in lower tiers being able to take out characters in higher tiers of power.
Spider-Man has always had to punch above his weight class and that's not gonna stop here. Izuku is far weaker than Nomu, so how will he combat it?
Let's see next time, true believers. Please review and have a nice day.
