Witch on the Waves

A Harry Potter + One Piece Crossover

Summary: At the age of fourteen, Nami regains the memories of her past life as Harry Potter. Suddenly Arlong is merely a bump in the road, her map-making dream seems that much closer, and Nami has gained an interest in the magic and supernatural powers of this world. Who created those Devil Fruits anyway? Eventual Nami/Robin.

Disclaimer: I don't own Monkey D. Luffy: he's a free pirate, nobody owns Luffy. Eiichiro Oda owns the One Piece – here's hoping that Luffy manages to steal it from him. Nor do I own Harry Potter: apparently some redheaded chick put a leash on him.

Author's Note: In this fic, Nami and Nojiko are the same age. I know that Nojiko is nominally the older sister in canon, but in scenes when they are younger (ie., with Bellemere) they look exactly the same age, so it must be close. Nojiko acts more mature in canon, but that's her character. Which I've changed a lot in this story.

There are a few other changes to the canon world, besides the major changes caused by Nami's actions. I'll try to keep changes to the world relatively small, except where Nami changes a lot of things through her actions. The important point is, I will NOT be repeating scenes from the canon storyline, because no one wants to read those (it's boring to write them too).

Also, this was written in late 2020, and the series is still ongoing, so I made up a lot of things about how the world works which may be contradicted by canon later.

Warnings: This fic explores some mature themes, in particular sexuality. Contains a bit of femslash, but no explicit sex. There's also a little gore here and there where I've been overly descriptive of injuries. I've rated it M because of all that, not that it would stop you thirteen-year-old smartasses from reading this anyway.

Author's Note (2): If you like it, add it to your favorites! If you don't have a account, make one!

Chapter 1: Waking

SMACK!

"Don't fall asleep before you finish that map, girl!" growled a rough voice, as she flew out of her chair and hit the floor.

"Yes, U-uncle Vernon." But the big man had already whirled and left the room, slamming the door.

Wait. Uncle Vernon? Who was Uncle Vernon? That was Arlong. Nami raised her hands to her temples as a migraine made itself known.

Memories. Memories of another life, another identity flowed into her head. Or perhaps more accurately, were released from the depths her mind.

Nami screamed, and then she blacked out.

~ Witch on the Waves ~

When Nami woke up, she was in her bed. Yawning and stretching, she threw the blanket off and wandlessly summoned her clothes from the dresser.

She froze. Oh, yeah.

She remembered everything.

When Harry Potter had died, 172 years old, after crawling off his deathbed, shuffling out on a cane, teleporting out, killing yet another Dark Lord, and then falling over dead of old age, he had found himself in the afterlife (no train station this time) being welcomed by his parents, his wife, his dogfather, all of his old friends, and one of his children. It was a happy reunion, many pranks were pulled, and many years passed, every now and then meeting someone new who had passed over the barrier between life and death.

After an indeterminate length of time there (because time cannot be measured normally in the afterlife), people he knew personally in life stopped showing up. Because they were all there already.

After an interminable period of time, the afterlife got boring.

After an immeasurable amount of boredom, innumerable repeat pranks, and an insufferable number of puns that should have been relegated to Hell, people started going into the cycle of reincarnation. It was a voluntary decision, but without exception, everyone decided to reincarnate eventually. And Harry Potter, being a man of action and rather sick of the way starry-eyed newly-dead came hunting him down in order to meet "an important historical figure" and "the second Merlin", was one of the first to reincarnate.

Of course, being Harry Potter, he couldn't do anything the normal way. Life, the counterpart of Death, and the avatar of reincarnation and creation, informed him that he had options.

"Options. You make that sound like it's something unusual," said Harry. "Why me?"

"Master of Death protocols," said Life. "You get a few extra perks and a bit of control over your reincarnation."

Harry frowned. People didn't just hand out power without motive. "Why?"

Life rolled her eyes (and yes, Life was a her) at this paranoia. "Death has been seeding worlds with artifacts that search out potential replacements for his job. He's been complaining of boredom ever since freaking Ramses II from your world went into reincarnation and he's trying to find someone worthy of taking over his mantle and responsibilities. And before you ask, Death said he found Ramses 'entertaining'. Something about his sense of drama and the way he kept being chased around by all his angry wives when they found out he wasn't the god he'd pretended to be in life."

"Huh. Thanks for telling me. So I'm one of these potential replacements?"

"Yes. The idea is to give the candidates some choices, basically some extra power, when they reincarnate, and see what they do with it. We'll do this through a few reincarnations, and then decide on a candidate. In the end, you won't be forced to take Death's job if you don't want it."

"OK, sounds fine with me. What are my options?" asked Harry.

"You can keep your memories, or get them restored at any point in your reincarnated life. Since experiences are integral to who you are, you have to get your memories restored at some point unless you want to give up your status as a candidate. You can keep the power and abilities you had when you died, or you can choose to be given any in-born or acquired superpower from the world where you're being reincarnated. And you can choose who your parents will be, though you won't be given knowledge of the future. You can choose to be the heir of a filthy rich family, you can choose to be a prince, you can choose to be born to two loving middle-class parents, pretty much any circumstances you choose. You won't be able to choose the world or time period, so don't get too specific."

"Hmm. Interesting," said Harry.

"Oh, and we'll take measures to ensure that you can't tell anyone the secrets of the afterlife," added Life. "Think of it as a Fidelius on the information. What happens in the afterlife, stays in the afterlife."

It took him a while to think it over, but Harry eventually decided not to choose his parents and let his circumstances be random, to keep his magic, and to regain his knowledge and memories at the age of fourteen ("probably best not to be a weirdly mature child").

And that was that.

He completely forgot to ask to be reborn as a boy.

Nami, now fully dressed, walked out of her bedroom muttering under her breath about "stupid omnipotent smart-ass avatars" as she headed to the kitchen for breakfast.

"Nami, are you alright?"

"Yeah Nojiko, I was just tired yesterday and fell asleep working on a map. How'd I get here?"

"One of the fishmen carried you here," said Nojiko, worriedly. "He didn't say anything, but you've got a nasty bruise on your left side."

Nami sighed. "Yeah, that was Arlong. Don't worry about it, you know I heal quickly."

Nojiko frowned. "I just don't like the fact that you –"

"We've been over this, sis, you know that it's the only way to get Arlong off… our… backs…" Nami trailed off for a moment.

Then she smirked. "You know what? I've got an idea. I need to do some research, and definitely need to go on another 'treasure hunt', but I think I can take care of things a different way."

"Oh? What are you thinking?" asked Nojiko.

"Secret. Just don't tell anyone that I'm up to something. I don't want Arlong trying to preempt me."

"...ooookay."

When they were finished with breakfast, Nami took hers and her sister's dishes to the sink, washed her hands, and set the brush and sponge to cleaning with a wave of her hand.

"Nami?"

She turned around, and Nojiko was staring wide-eyed at the sink.

Nami facepalmed. "Ergh. Damn habits."

"What habits? And how did you –"

"Okay. Uh, I can explain."

"Are the dishes washing themselves?"

"Umm… yes?"

"How?"

"A spell."

"Like magic?"

"It is magic."

"Wooooow." Suddenly no longer stupefied, Nojiko jumped out of her chair and started inspecting the dishes, the brush and the sponge more closely. She poked the brush, nudging it off to the side, fascinated as it autonomously moved back to its position scrubbing a plate.

"So where did you learn magic?" asked Nojiko.

"Ergh. Okay, hang on a second, I'll be right back." Nami went to the front door of their cottage and looked out, making sure no one was nearby, and raised a set of wards around the house: first one to block detection of magic inside, then aversion, sound muffling, and intruder detection. Given what she knew of this world, there probably wasn't anyone who could detect the use of magic, at least not in the East Blue, but there were also wild rumors of demons, giants, devil fruits, and all manner of legends centered around the Grand Line. Most people dismissed the stories as myth, but Harry Potter knew such things were often grounded in reality.

Going back into the kitchen and sitting down at the table, Nami said, "Okay. Stop poking the magic brush and I'll explain."

Nojiko was in the other chair in a flash. "So, magic?"

Nami took a deep breath. "Basically, last night I got my memories and magical power from a previous life."

"Like reincarnation?"

"Yeah, reincarnation. Please, you can't tell anyone about this or the magic. Imagine if Arlong found out? Or some other pirates?"

"I promise. You know I can keep a secret."

"Yeah, I know. Thanks."

"So you can do anything you could in your previous life? How old were you when you… died?"

Nami smiled, "172 years old and still kicking ass."

"Woooow. So you were a witch? What was that like, did you wear a pointy hat and ride a broomstick?"

"Yes to the broomstick, some people wore the pointy hat but I didn't like them, and no, I wasn't a witch," said Nami, her lips twitching.

"Cool. So you were what, a magician? A sorceress?"

"I was a wizard."

"… you were a w– wait, are you saying you were a boy?"

Nami twitched. "Yes. I was a guy. And that damned smirking… ergh. I can't even curse her out properly. And now I'm a girl."

"Oh." For some reason, Nojiko giggled. "That must be… tough?"

"Eh, not so much. I've lived for 14 years as a girl, I'm comfortable with it. It's just that now I have 172 years of memories of being a guy, so it's weird. And apparently I still have some habits from my old life, like washing the dishes with a spell. Which is also weird."

"Innn-ter-esting. Hang on, if you were that old, that means," Nojiko giggled, "do you know what it's like to…" She couldn't continue due to a fit of giggles.

"What it's like to what?" said Nami flatly.

Getting control of herself, Nojiko finished, "What it's like to…" and she leaned forward and whispered, "have sex." And she blushed and stared at Nami with all the curiosity of a fourteen-year-old.

Nami snorted despite herself. "Yes. I know what it's like to have sex. As a guy."

"What was it like?" asked Nojiko, still whispering.

Lips twitching, Nami responded with the utmost seriousness.

"A gentleman doesn't kiss and tell."

They both broke down in laughter.

Nami's plan for Arlong and his crew was not so much a plan for getting rid of them, as a plan for making a plan to get rid of them. It involved a lot of stealth, secrecy, and information gathering.

The first thing she did that morning when walking into Arlong Park was to freely distribute Confundus charms, so that Arlong and his men wouldn't think to punish her for failing to finish that map last night. Then she tagged each of them with a tracking spell, and raised a strong aversion ward around the town, linked to the tracking spells, which would keep them from entering and hopefully, killing any more villagers. She would have to periodically Confund the crew in order to keep them from suspecting anything, and Nojiko would help her buy food and supplies for them (with Arlong's money, of course).

In addition, Nami carved a smooth twig and turned it into a simple necklace, then enchanted it with alert and tracking charms. She gave it to Nojiko and told her to break the twig if there was ever an emergency of some kind.

And finally, she captured Arlong alone in a silenced room, and used Legilimency to poke through his mind for any information he had on the superpowers and legends of this world. And what a treasure trove she found.

Devil Fruits. Haki. Humans who used neither, but were nevertheless impossibly strong and fast. Giants, Minks, all manner of sentient species both under the sea and on it. Fish-Man Karate, which used various water-pressure attacks. The Seven Warlords of the Sea, one of whom Arlong had known personally (before they had a falling out).

Along with that, Nami found information about a corrupt Marine Captain named Nezumi that Arlong had dealings with. Little ratlike bastard. It looked like Nami had her next target to hunt down for information.

Also, biology in this world was really weird. For example, the princess of Ryugu Kingdom, Shirahoshi, was a smelt-whiting mermaid. And she was the natural daughter of King Neptune, a coelacanth merman, and Queen Otohime, a goldfish mermaid. Seriously, what the hell?

~ Witch on the Waves ~

After graduating from Hogwarts, Harry Potter had made a study of teleportation magic. He hated the way every magical method of transportation sucked except for flying. He studied the mechanics of Portkeys, Apparition, Floo, and even the Knight Bus. He learned how House Elves "popped". He read up on scientific theories and sci-fi. Along the way he studied spell creation, Arithmancy, and runes, a study which would become a life-long hobby as he learned esoteric magic and dealt with strange creatures and annoyingly creative dark wizards and witches.

The end result of this transportation study was a teleportation spell that was far less instinctual than Apparition, way more difficult to learn, and yet much safer than transfiguring yourself into a set of particles that hurtled through space towards your destination before reconstituting back into you. Instead, Harry opened an actual wormhole in space-time just large enough for himself and any intended passengers, yanked himself through, and then closed the wormhole. Manually closing the wormhole wasn't normally necessary, since artificial wormholes closed on their own, but doing so made your teleportation untraceable, and you needed to be careful to do it correctly in any kind of expanded space, lest you strain or collapse the spacial expansion magic. And to top it off, there was no distance limit. It used exactly the same amount of magic to create a wormhole regardless of the distance between endpoints.

With enough practice, the whole process of teleportation could be nearly instantaneous and sensation-free, very different from Apparition or Portkeys. Harry even managed to use the wormhole to teleport objects without traveling through it himself… including spells, which was both amazing and scary in battle.

It was a good thing Harry hadn't needed a wand since he was 30 and decided to re-learn every single spell he knew wandlessly.

Because anything Harry Potter could do, Nami could do.

So that night, after a couple of practice teleports to make sure she was up to snuff, Nami donned a full black cloak and a mask to cover her face, put on a set of invisibility, scent-masking, and silencing spells, teleported near the Marine base that Nezumi commanded, and easily infiltrated Nezumi's bedroom.

From Nezumi's mind, Nami found names, places, Marines he trusted (who were similarly corrupt) and Marines he hated (who were incorruptible). There were distressingly few officers of the latter type. Information about Marine bases, including the few locations on the Grand Line he had been to. And a strong desire to stay out of the madness of the Grand Line and retire in the "most peaceful ocean" with a big fat "retirement package".

Also, Nezumi had information about seastone and the Marines' own set of superpowers, the Rokushiki. Those looked useful. Really useful. Especially Geppo, Kami-e, and Rankyaku. Unfortunately, the Marines would be highly suspicious of anyone besides their own who learned them, but better to have something in your arsenal than not. Nezumi, of course, wasn't able to use any of the Rokushiki, but all Marine Captains were given the information with the intention that they train; a certain level of superhuman fighting prowess was necessary before someone could be promoted beyond Captain.

Nami wouldn't be able to track down and mind-wipe everyone who was aware of Nezumi and Arlong's little "arrangement", since Nezumi always brought a group of grunt soldiers with him and he didn't bother knowing all of their names. So she left it alone and merely hit the corrupt Captain with a Confundus to make sure he wouldn't visit Cocoyashi Village or communicate with Arlong in the next three months. And stole all of his ill-gotten money from his personal safe. And hit him with an Obliviate to make him think he had buried it in a nearby grove, where he would not look until he was reassigned to a different base.

Heh, it was good being a thief. Now it was time to find some weapons.

~ Witch on the Waves ~

In the end, Nami actually decided to go all the way to the South Blue for weapons. That ocean produced the most advanced and highest quality firearms in the world. Plucking the location of a large South Blue town out of the mind of Nezumi's Lieutenant, Nami used a scrying spell to choose a location just over the horizon on the sea.

Huh, it seems scrying spells were much more useful when no one has wards to block them.

Nami teleported her little boat there, mast and sail and all. She landed with a splash, put on some glamour charms, unfurled her sail, and made for port. Then she wandered the town looking for weapons stores.

In the end, she had to change her glamours once, and Obliviate three merchants, before she found a seedy-looking weapons-dealer who (quite illegally) sold her a hundred and fifty each of quality revolver-action rifles and pistols, and for a bribe, pointed her in the direction of a weapon-smith who would do custom work for a fee, and stay silent.

It was all very expensive, but she did have twenty million Beri that she'd been collecting with the intention of buying Cocoyashi village from Arlong. Which was really stupid now that she had some perspective to think it through properly; after all, why would an evil pirate like Arlong honor a deal like that?

She'd be rather poor after this, but hey, no reason to stop stealing from pirates now, was there?

~ Witch on the Waves ~

"Hey Nojiko."

"Nami, you're back!"

"Yup, and look what I got." Nami had to put down one bag with a heavy clank before carrying the two giant duffels through the door one by one, so they could fit. Placing them on the living room floor, she unzipped the duffels to reveal two metal boxes with clasps.

"Oh, my!" exclaimed Nojiko.

She opened them and said, "Arlong killed Bellemere, and over the last four years, twenty-seven other people of our village. He's got an arrangement with a corrupt Marine Captain, and there are too many other corrupt Marines for me to trust that reporting it to his superior will work. So the only way to get rid of Arlong and his crew is through main force.

"And what's with the old lady impression, Nojiko? Seriously, 'oh my'?"

Nojiko punched her shoulder. "I'm not surprised that we would have to do something like this, and I'm glad it's not all on you to save the village anymore, Nami." Then she reached down and picked up one of the rifles. "We're going to have to find a way to train everyone to use these."

"Yes," said Nami, "Genzo will help, as the sheriff he knows about guns, though he may not have seen revolvers like these before. I think we're going to have to take people to another island in small batches in order to train them. And even then, this much firepower isn't enough to drive Arlong away without taking casualties ourselves. Which is why I got this."

She reached into the side pocket of one of the duffels and pulled out a small box, also metal. Placing it on the floor, she expanded it with a wave of her hand, opened it, and pulled out…

"Oh, my!" said Nojiko again.

~ Witch on the Waves ~

Two months later…

BOOOM! The gates to Arlong Park exploded inwards off their hinges and fell down.

"ARLONG!"

"What," snarled Arlong, staring at the crowd of townspeople with Nami at their head, "is the meaning of this, Nami?" He got off his lounge chair.

As Arlong and Nami exchanged words, his crew started gathering around him, including his officers Hatchan, Chew and Kuroobi. The last one, in particular, started wondering why all the villagers were holding one hand behind their backs. And why Nami was wearing a large, cloth backpack.

"You asked for 100 million Beri for Cocoyashi Village, Arlong. Guess what? I've collected 100 million Beri." (Which was a big lie, since she hadn't collected even half that much.)

Arlong looked surprised, but then sneered. "And where's the money?"

"Where's the money?" said Nami. "I spent it all." (Which was also a lie, but hey, it sounded more dramatic this way.)

"S-spent it all?!" shouted one of the fish-men.

"On these," finished Nami. And the villagers showed what they'd been holding behind their backs: every one carried an identical rifle, which they pointed at the fish-men.

"HAH!" shouted Arlong. "You think those pop-guns can hurt us? Haven't you learned? We fish-men are stronger than you humans! Men, take down these stupid villagers!"

Arlong's men shouted an indistinct battle cry and made to charge the crowd of villagers.

Nami just pulled a wireless detonator out of her pocket and pressed the button.

Arlong Park exploded. Or rather, the supports on the two lowest level of the building were blown out, and the top five levels just collapsed in a huge crash of wood, splinters and dust.

Then Nami threw the cloth off of what had looked like a large backpack, unhitched something from her back, and revealed a pair of Gatling guns attached to a harness she wore on her back. They were about the size of M134 Miniguns, though with a somewhat larger caliber, and fed from ammunition belts hanging from her backpack. What was not visible was lightening and shock-absorption magic on the guns, and expansion charms in the compartments that held the ammunition. She pointed one of the rotary machine guns at Arlong, and the other at Chew.

There was a whine as the motorized rotary barrels started spinning, and Nami and the rest of the villagers opened fire.

These were not "pop-guns". They weren't the muskets firing lead balls that Arlong was used to. What the villagers carried were rifles from the South Blue, firing long, pointed, armor-piercing bullets. Fish-men had denser bodies than the average untrained human, but these bullets would penetrate, and in some cases go right through the torso of a fish-man. And Nami's Gatling guns fired the same ammunition at 35 rounds per second. Each.

There was a lot of blood.

~ Witch on the Waves ~

About one-quarter of Arlong's crew died that day. A few of them got away, not having been on the scene when the shooting started, and realizing what was happening before joining the fight. The rest of them were either wounded or surrendered when they realized that the villagers didn't need to stop to reload their rifles after one shot, and that Nami was spraying out a seemingly unending stream of bullets. Arlong himself was more than dead, with dozens of bullet holes all over his body.

Nami had the town doctor alter her tattoo to cover Arlong's pirate mark, turning it into a pair of tangerines in memory of Bellemere.

Nami, Nojiko, Genzo, and a few of the villagers took Arlong's ship and sailed it to Loguetown to turn in the still living fish-men and Arlong's corpse for his bounty. There was a Captain Smoker in charge of the Marines at Loguetown who had built a reputation as a hardass, and whom Nezumi was afraid of, so Nami decided it would be safe to turn them in there.

Before they arrived, Nami snuck around the hold and used a memory charm to suppress the pirates' knowledge that she had once been part of the crew. Despite the fact that she had been forced into it, it wouldn't do any good for her if the Marines found out.

When they sailed into Loguetown's port with no flag and with Arlong's pirate markings sloppily painted over, they didn't attract a lot of attention, but a squad of Marines did come out to greet them with Captain Smoker at its head.

"Hello there," greeted Genzo, leading the way down the gangplank with Nami and Nojiko behind him. "You would be Captain Smoker?"

"Hmph. Yup, and you are?"

"Genzo, sheriff of Cocoyashi Village over in Conomi Islands."

"Mm-hmm. That ship," said Smoker, narrowing his eyes, "has way too many cannon-ports for a peaceful occupation. And those spots of paint look suspicious, like they're covering something."

"That's because it used to belong to Arlong," declared Genzo proudly. "We're here to turn him in for his bounty."

"WHAT?!" interjected one of the Marines, a young Seaman Apprentice. "Arlong? As in Saw-tooth Arlong, the biggest bounty in the East Blue?!"

"Yep!" said Genzo. "Whole village got together to bring him down. Oi!" he turned and shouted up to the ship. "Bring down Arlong's body!"

"You killed him?" asked Smoker, now less suspicious, but still wary.

"Bastard attacked our village and occupied it. For four years. No help from you Marines. Apparently Arlong was bribing some ratty-looking officer."

Smoker was now puffing up with anger. "I don't like the way you're trying to besmirch the Marines' reputa–"

"Arlong killed twenty-eight of our people," interrupted Genzo flatly. "Listen, young man, I've known several retired Marines in my time. And you know what they all said?" He pointed his finger at one of Smoker's epaulettes. "You'll need to get a lot higher than Captain's rank if you want to do anything about the corruption. Suck it up, do your job, and maybe someday when you're an Admiral you can clean up your organization. You know this, don't you? You've seen corrupt Marines? And got shut down when you tried to do something about it."

Smoker grunted noncommittally and didn't answer. At this point, two of the men from Cocoyashi dragged a bodybag down the gang-way, and unzipped the top of it to show Arlong's face.

"There you go, Saw-tooth Arlong, twenty million Beli dead or alive. We've also got a bunch of prisoners, most of his crew in the hold."

Smoker unzipped the rest of the bodybag. The Marines behind him gulped. "That's a lot of bullet holes," said the loud-mouthed one who had interjected before.

Smoker answered, "See the guns those two are carrying?" He pointed at the two who had dragged Arlong's body down, indicating the rifles on their backs and the pistols on their belts. "Those are from the South Blue. They make good weapons down there. Those things can fire six shots before you need to reload them."

"Good eye," said Genzo. "They're expensive too. More than half of Arlong's bounty is going to go towards paying for those things. We're not rich, but at least we'll be able to protect ourselves from pirates from now on."

"Alright, men," said Smoker, zipping up the bodybag again and standing up. "Take Arlong's body to the base, process it the normal way, and send for more men to collect the rest of the prisoners. Genzo, was it? I'll write you a certificate you can take to the bank and exchange for Arlong's bounty."

At this point, Nami, who had been silent along with Nojiko up to this point, spoke up. Pasting a slightly ditzy look on her face, she said, "Oh, goody. Does that mean we can go…"

"Shopping!" finished Nojiko and Nami in unison, with a grin.

Genzo sighed with a put-upon look, knowing that the two were hamming it up. "Yes, girls, we can go shopping."

On the way to the bank, after they were out of range of Smoker's hearing, Nojiko asked, "Genzo? Why didn't you let Nami do the talking? She was the one who killed Arlong and kind of… organized this whole thing."

"Guys like that are always more respectful of old fogeys like me. I can get away with a lot more, like talking down to him about corruption in the Marines. And he won't be so suspicious if he sees me as the one responsible for killing a bunch of pirates – I am the sheriff after all, so we're both law enforcement officers. Also, older guys can sometimes be a bit misogynistic, though I don't think he's the type after talking to him."

Nami nodded. "Yeah, I really don't want to start getting a reputation. Not yet. Maybe not ever."

"Okay, that makes sense," said Nojiko. "Let's go see if there's a place that sells Log Poses! Nami, didn't you say that those are needed to navigate in the Grand Line?"

~ Witch on the Waves ~

A few days later, everyone was back in Cocoyashi Village, and Nami was preparing to go out and hunt down some more pirates and steal from them. She just didn't feel right, having so little money after spending most of it on expensive guns and ammunition. And most of Arlong's bounty, despite what Genzo had told Smoker, went towards helping the village get back on their feet and repairing damage done by the pirates over the last few years.

So she was packing up some clothes and food, when Nojiko came in the room with a stuffed backpack.

"Nami? Take me with you."
