A/N

Before I start with this fic, just let me say that while this isn't my first time writing a fanfic, it sure is my first Pokemon fanfic. Till now, I have written only Percy Jackson fanfics. Those of you interested in reading can check the stories on my profile.

Summary :

It is about an Ash centric Pokemon fanfic. Note that this is an A/U. So, don't expect things to go similar to canon!.

It goes like, the protagonist's parents are aura guardians, killed by Giovanni. Ash, being the son of two aura guardians, is the 'Chosen one' of Arceus. So, the alpha Pokemon tasks Mewtwo with raising the small baby.

Mewtwo does so in a forest. The hero grows up with Mewtwo training his aura powers. In that time, he catches a charmander and a Pikachu. Also, a riolu, but that is a given since he is an aura guardian. Also, some other rare Pokemon, and of course, some badass legendary Pokemon.

I hope you are excited for this. Now, let's start today's badassery without any further delays.

Place : Unknown location

Third Person POV

Mana is the soul spirit power that each and every human and Pokemon has.

Pokemon show their mana through their attacks and other abilities. Hell, Arceus, the first being showed his mana by creating Pokemon and humans.

But for humans, channeling their mana is extremely difficult. This may sound cliché, but the only humans even able to access their inner mana are the pure hearted ones. The ones who don't hold any kind of venom in their hearts.

These humans are Aura Guardians. The knights of Arceus himself. The bringers of justice. Aura Guardians. The way in which these Aura Guardians channel their mana is by concentrating on it to create a layer of energy around themselves. Their aura. It is blue in colour, and can take the shape of any object that the Guardian wishes, as long as the Guardian is strong enough.

Two of these Aura Guardians currently stood outside a huge dome shaped complex. The complex had a huge 'R' painted on it in blood red colour.

The Aura Guardians could hear the voices and presences of humans and Pokemon from inside the complex. The Aura Guardians took deep breaths and turned to each other. One of them was a male, while the other was a female.

The male Aura Guardian stood about six feet tall, and had silver hair and warm, brown eyes that shined with love as he gazed down at his female companion.

The female was about five feet seven tall, and had brown hair with similar brown eyes to her companion. Her eyes held the same love as she gazed up into the similar brown orbs.

"I know that this is the hardest mission of our lives. And the only reason I said yes to it was because you would be with me. I love you, Delia. I will always love you and our baby boy Ash." The man said to the now identified Delia.

Delia smiled and spoke, "Ash is lucky to have a father like you. Marrying you was the best decision I ever made. I love you too, Shaun Ketchum." The man, now identified as her husband Shaun Ketchum, leaned down and pressed his lips to her's.

Before they could even pull back, Delia gasped in pain and fell to the ground. The next moment, a dart hit the male Aura Guardian, making his eyes widen. He grabbed the dart and threw it away, but found that he couldn't do so as he had lost control of his hand. He then felt his legs and other body parts go to sleep, before he plopped down to the floor. As his eyes were shutting, he saw a man in a black suit approaching them with a huge Rhyperior. Beside the man was a Persian, walking with the grace of a lioness.

'Giovanni Sakaki', the male Aura Guardian thought, as he recognized the leader of Team Rocket, one of the largest criminal organizations in the world.

Delia's eyes snapped open when she felt a needle pierce her left hand. Checking her surroundings, she saw that she was in a closed room. The walls were made of stainless steel, which she knew wouldn't break even if she used a huge amount of her aura power.

Her hands were strapped down to the bed she was on. Same had been done for her legs. Her neck and head however, were free to move as she turned her gaze around the room. Beside her, she spotted her husband, still unconscious. A similar needle connected to a wire had been pierced into his left hand, and Delia could hear some kind of whirring inside the wire that was in her husband's hand.

Delia's eyes widened as she realized what was going on. The stupid wire was extracting energy straight from inside her husband's heart. Soon, the same would happen to her. She started to struggle against the straps, desperately trying to set herself free and help her husband.

Seeing that her strength was not enough to break the straps, Delia closed her eyes and focused on her aura, drawing strength from it. Having gathered enough strength, she opened her eyes and let out her aura with a long shout. The bed under her exploded into pieces, sending her flying upwards.

Before she could hit the ceiling, Delia Ketchum used her aura to make a shield in front of her body. The aura shield crashed against the ceiling, making a huge dent in the stainless steel.

With a thud, the female Aura Guardian fell on the floor. Without wasting time, she immediately got up and rushed to her husband's bed. First, she pulled out the needle from Shaun's hand, before blasting the machine beside her with a burst of aura energy.

Using the connection she shared with her husband through their auras, she managed to invade his subconscious mind and screamed in his mind, "Wake up!!"

With a jolt, Shaun Ketchum's eyes snapped open as he gasped loudly. Seeing the face of his eyes above him, he relaxed a little. "Whaa?" He asked unintelligently, before shaking his head to focus.

Suddenly, his eyes narrowed and hardened as he spoke, "Giovanni. It was the leader of Team Rocket who brought us here. We need to get out of here, now."

Delia nodded her head and stood up. She extended her hand and helped her husband stand up. The two Aura Guardians walked towards the steel walls and started to use their auras to try and blast the walls open.

After a few minutes of trying, the two aura guardians walked to the center of the room and bent down, catching their breaths. The only result that all this hard work had yielded for them was a couple of dents in the stainless steel walls.

"I think we should try to aim at a particular spot and use our aura together. Maybe we can make a hole in this stupid ass wall." Shaun spoke, and was worried when his wife didn't give him the disapproving look that she usually gave him when he cursed in front of her. She was clearly more tired than she looked.

Delia just nodded and the two aura guardians walked towards a particular spot where Shaun had managed to make a dent deeper than the others. Looking at each other, the couple nodded and closed their eyes. Focusing on their auras, they opened their eyes to reveal glowing blue eyes. The eyes sparkled with barely contained power as the couple extended their hands towards the wall and shouted together.

A huge sphere of pure, unbridled mana formed in front of them. For the next ten seconds, the sphere kept increasing as the two Aura Guardians kept channeling power into it. By the time they were finished, the sphere was almost as big as a full grown Gastly.

With a final scream, the aura Guardians thrusted their hands forward, making the sphere go flying towards the wall in front of them. What followed was a full-blown explosion as dust filled the air, making it impossible to see anything.

After a few seconds, the dust finally cleared to reveal two extremely tired Aura Guardians. Delia had already fallen to her knees, unable to keep her balance due to sheer exhaustion.

Shaun meanwhile, was barely standing as he took in deep breaths, panting once in every few breaths he took.

The two Aura Guardians gazed forward to see that a huge hole had formed in the stainless steel. A small grin made it's way onto Shaun's face as he looked down at Delia. Looking at his wife, the grin was wiped off his face as he saw that Delia was so tired that she wouldn't even be able to walk now.

But he also knew that staying in that room was suicide. By now, almost everyone in the building must have felt the blast and would be coming to the room to check what was wrong.

The image of his baby boy Ash made it's way to Shaun's mind. Seeing the cute face of his baby with the curios brown eyes so similar to his and his wife's, Shaun's resolve hardened. His eyes narrowed and steeled themselves as he bent down and picked his wife up and held her bridal style.

Delia let out a squeak of surprise when Shaun lifted her and held her to his chest.

The male Aura Guardian pushed his fatigue to the side and started to sprint out of the room. Walking through the hole, Shaun saw that the aura sphere had not just blasted the first wall, but it had also gone through the next two walls. No wonder they were so exhausted. The aura sphere had sucked in much more energy than required.

Paying it no heed for the moment, Shaun tried to expand his aura senses to sense the presences near him. To his utter shock, his aura senses returned nothing. He had completely exhausted his energy reserves for the moment.

Cursing his bad luck, Shaun turned towards the path that he thought was less risky and started to run towards it.

After running for a few moments, Shaun turned and saw a huge door that read 'Exit'. He found it hard to believe that he had reached the exit without running into any team Rocket member or Pokemon, but still opened the door and stepped onto the other side.

As soon as he stepped on the floor, it crumbled under his feet. Shaun tried to grab the sides or the door behind him, but his hands were occupied with holding his wife.

The two Aura Guardians fell down along with the crumbling floor. After about five seconds of free fall, Shaun and Delia landed on a trampoline under them. Surprised at this, Shaun and Delia looked around them.

What they saw made them gasp loudly. They were standing in what was seemingly a huge laboratory. Surrounding them were dozens of Pokemon, ranging from normal Rattata to the powerful Scyther. All the Pokemon were glaring at the couple, making the two Aura Guardians flinch.

In the center of the laboratory, just beside Shaun and Delia, was a glass capsule, which held a Pokemon that they hadn't seen ever before in their lives.

On studying it for a moment, Shaun noticed that it was a light purple coloured feline. It's face was scary, with closed eyes and a scowl adorning it. The lower part of it's body was hidden as the capsule was partially opaque.

Shaun turned his attention away from the Pokemon. He had more pressing matters to deal with right now. Turning his head aside, he met his wife's eyes and nodded. Reaching to their belts, they pulled out three pokeballs each.

Shaun tossed his pokeballs, revealing a menacing Blastoise, a jolteon, and a Sableye.

Delia's pokeballs revealed an Umbreon, an Espeon and a Feraligatr.

The six strong Pokemon glared at the dozens of weaker Pokemon in front of them.

They knew that the fight was still in Team Rocket's favour, but they had a trump card that could help even the battlefield.

Shaun pulled out his mega bracelet and slapped the mega evolution ring in it. Immediately, his Blastoise started to glow in a deep pink colour. When the glow around the Pokemon died down, the enemy Pokemon stepped back in fear at the beast. Blastoise was now larger, and he had a huge cannon on his back, with two smaller ones on his hands.

The next moment, another pink glow was seen as Delia mega evolved her Feraligatr. The crocodile Pokemon now looked even more ferocious as its fangs became sharper and so did its claws.

The two aura Guardians stood up behind their Pokemon, ready to command them into battle, when all of a sudden, a large holograph of Giovanni Sakaki formed behind the Team Rocket Pokemon.

"Attack them and get me those Aura Guardians alive. Understand?" Giovanni ordered his Pokemon, who nodded and turned to attack the six Pokemon belonging to the Aura Guardians.

The first Pokemon to make a move was an ivysaur from the team rocket Pokemon. The grass type lashed out with his whips and tried to block the Mega Blastoise's large canon.

The mega Pokemon just raised an eyebrow, before pulling back with a jerk. The ivysaur was pulled towards the Blastoise at a high speed, where a combined water canon from Mega Blastoise's hands sent it flying towards the laboratory wall. The Ivysaur crashed into the steel wall, before collapsing to the floor, clearly knocked out.

The rest of the Team Rocket Pokemon took this as their cue to attack the Aura Guardians' Pokemon. The six Pokemon retaliated with their own attacks, taking down the enemy Pokemon as quickly as they could.

Mega Blastoise and Mega Feraligatr were literally knocking out a Pokemon with just one hit of theirs. Mega evolutions had boosted their strengths to insane levels.

But, just when the situation was starting to tilt in the favour of the Aura Guardians and their Pokemon, a loud roar cut through the air. The next second, both Espeon and Umbreon flew through the air and landed next to Shaun, clearly knocked out. The crowd of Pokemon cleared to show the towering figure of Giovanni's favourite Rhyperior. The rock and ground Pokemon let out another roar before dashing towards its next target. Jolteon tried it's best to get out of Rhyperior's way, but it just wasn't quick enough.

Rhyperior hit the electric evolution of eeve, sending it flying towards it's master. Shaun managed to catch his Pokemon just before it fell to the floor, but the momentum that Jolteon had, sent them both to the ground. Jolteon was knocked out.

Rhyperior had now gotten the attention of Mega Blastoise, as the water type Pokemon stepped forward to face the ground Pokemon.

Mega Blastoise aimed it's cannon at Rhyperior and sent the most powerful water cannon it could.

Rhyperior stood his ground and at the last second, used the ability Solid Rock. The attack, as suggested by its name, gave Rhyperior the ability to take on the most powerful hits from the heaviest hitters.

Even after using Solid Rock, the water cannon seemed a little extra than what Rhyperior could handle. The ground type Pokemon was sent skidding back by about seven meters, where it came to a stop. Mega Blastoise still looked quite healthy and unwinded, while Rhyperior was panting slightly.

Not one to give up, the ground type Pokemon used his ability of Mud slap, which sent Blastoise stumbling back a few steps. Before the Mega Pokemon could regain its bearings, Rhyperior used Rock Wrecker.

Mega Blastoise saw the attack approach it, but it knew that it wouldn't be able to move fast enough to avoid the attack. So, it retaliated with a water cannon of its own. The two attacks met midway, before erupting in a series of blasts.

When the battlefield between the two Pokemon cleared, Rhyperior was seen lying on the ground, unconscious after being hit by the shockwave that had been caused by the two extremely powerful attacks colliding.

Mega Blastoise looked hurt, as it was panting heavily and it had some bruises on its body.

The enemy Pokemon did not give the mega Pokemon even a moment of rest, as a Scyther and Marowak attacked Blastoise.

A double-blade from Scyther and an attack from Marowak later, Blastoise was lying on the floor in an unconscious heap. It had reverted back to its normal form, just like Mega Pokemon did after being defeated.

Shaun sighed sadly and called his water type Pokemon back into its pokeball. Gently patting the pokeball, he spoke, "You did as amazing as you always do, my friend. Take some rest."

Now, the only two Pokemon belonging to the Aura Guardians that were still fighting were Shaun's Sableye and Delia's Mega Feraligatr.

This soon changed when a duo of Kadabra and Drowzee teamed together to defeat the ghost type Pokemon Sableye.

Shaun cursed loudly and returned his last Pokemon to its pokeball. He turned his attention to focusing on his aura in order to generate enough power to help them flee this place.

Delia was worried as she saw her mega Feraligatr face twenty Pokemon at once. If it were twenty Rattata or even some other weaker Pokemon, she wouldn't have been concerned at all. But right now, in the twenty enemy Pokemon, there was one Scyther, one nidoking, a nidoqueen, a Drowzee, a Kadabra, and fifteen other weaker Pokemon.

Mega Feraligatr used it's water blast to blast away three pidgeottos flying near it. The three bird Pokemon fell to the ground, knocked out. Now, there were seventeen Pokemon remaining.

That is when the alligator Pokemon felt its body be restrained by a psychic force. Turning it's head, it saw the Kadabra and Drowzee use their psychic powers to trap it in its place.

Mega Feraligatr fought against the control as hard as it could. Finally, it was able to break out of the psychic attack, but it took a lot of its power. Trying to ensure that such a thing wouldn't happen again, Feraligatr launched itself at the Kadabra and Drowzee.

One slash with its extremely sharp claws later, both Drowzee and Kadabra were lying on the floor, knocked out.

Before Mega Feraligatr could turn around, if felt a stinging pain in it's back. It had just been hit by a double blade attack from the Scyther in the enemy gang.

Mega Feraligatr roared in pain, before blasting the Scyther away with a water cannon. The Scyther fell to the ground, knocked out after being hit by the extremely powerful water attack.

The next moment, Mega Feraligatr was hit by four quick attacks from four Rattatas. The alligator roared in pain, before trying to blast away the little rodents. But as it moved, it's head was struck by a bone that had come flying out of nowhere.

Again, a series of quick attacks and a hit by the Marowak's bone made the Mega Feraligatr fall to its knees. The alligator Pokemon sent a last water cannon towards the enemy Pokemon, before falling flat on the ground, clearly knocked out after being hit so many times.

The water Pokemon reverted back to its original state, and was then recalled into its pokeball by Delia Ketchum.

As soon as she did this, a large image of Giovanni again appeared before them. Only this time, the leader of team Rocket was smiling widely, as if he had just won the biggest victory of all time.

"Thank you for the amazing fight, Aura Guardians. You see, I do not care whether you lose or win. All I wanted was a huge brawl to happen in there. The reason is that the energy that was generated and used in that room, is what provided the energy to finally make my new Pokemon wake up." Then the image pointed it's finger towards the feline Pokemon that was kept in the glass capsule.

"You see, that is not any ordinary Pokemon. No, far from it. That, is the first man-made Pokemon ever. It is a copy of Mew, the mythical psychic Pokemon. I used Mew's DNA to make this abomination. And yes, it is as powerful as any other legendary Pokemon out there, maybe powerful enough to even give Deoxys a run for it's money." Giovanni continued speaking, as the feeling of dread kept expanding in the hearts of the two Aura Guardians.

"Behold, Mewtwo, the first man-made Pokemon, and the key to world domination that I will use." Giovanni exclaimed, as the glass capsule opened slowly, revealing the psychic Pokemon to the Aura Guardians.

Shaun turned to Delia and spoke to her telepathically, through the link they shared, being Aura Guardians. 'Delia, we cannot let this maniac hold so much power. He will destroy each and every thing or person in order to rule the world. I think you know what to do now.'

Delia agreed completely with Shaun's words. Giovanni Sakaki could not be allowed to weild so much power. But she was not at a fine with his solution. 'Absolutely not. We can't just do that. It would very well mean our death, Shaun. What about Ash?'

A year ran down Shaun's cheek as he replied, 'I hate this just as much as you do, Delia. But I know that this is the only way. The only way to ensure that our little baby boy grows up in a safe world. We have to make this sacrifice, my love. For our baby.'

A stream of tears flowed down Delia's cheeks as she couldn't help but agree with her husband's words. She was ready to make this sacrifice, even if it meant that she would not be able to see her infant son again.

She gave Shaun a curt nod, to which she received a small, sad smile in return.

The two Aura Guardians closed their eyes and again focused on gathering their auras.

Ten seconds later, both of them snapped their eyes open to reveal sparkling blue orbs that were shining with power. With two mighty screams, the husband and wife let their Aura flow out of their body.

The results was astonishing. This time, there was no energy sphere being formed. The two auras met and entangled with each other, before creating a blast that made up the entire laboratory explode.

The blast still didn't stop, as it spread throughout the entire dome shaped complex, destroying each and every machine inside. Pokemon and most of the humans were spared, but the disgusting, vile people that worked in Team Rocket were blasted into bits by the shockwave of the aura blast.

Shaun and Delia had already exhausted their aura reserves, and were now drawing the strength to keep going from their life force. They knew that their chances of survival were less than one percent, yet they also knew that this had to be done.

Giovanni Sakaki, who had noticed the Aura Guardians gathering their aura for a blast, had immediately flown off on a pidgeot, to one of the other bases of Team Rocket.

When everything was over, all that remained was Delia and Shaun Ketchum. The two Aura Guardians were in a horrible condition. Their clothes had been reduced to scraps of clothing material hanging on their bodies.

Their faces and hands were covered with blood. Shaun was missing his right hand, while Delia's stomach had a piece of metal poking out from it. A rogue piece of steel had been blasted towards her and had impaled her in the stomach.

The two Aura Guardians knew that this was the end for them. They could feel their Aura dimming with every passing second.

Shaun extended his single hand to Delia, who clutched it in her own hands. The female Aura Guardian was the first to fall as she vomited a mouthful of blood on the ground.

The next moment, Shaun joined her on ths ground as his knees gave away.

They turned their heads to face each other. Though her sight was extremely blurry, Delia extended one of her hands and caressed her husband's cheek for the last time. The moment after this, she gasped, unable to breath, as the light dimmed from her eyes.

Her grip on Shaun's hand went limp as she fell forward on the ground. The metal piece hanging out of her stomach was pushed further inside. Delia Ketchum, the Aura Guardian, had passed on to the realm of the dead.

Shaun felt his wife's hand go limp and understood what it entailed. His wife had taken her last breath, and was now waiting for him in the afterlife.

The fear and dread that Shaun had earlier felt, now turned to peace, as he took a last, shuddering breath. Making sure to not let go of his wife's hand, he lied beside her dead body, ready to close his eyes for good.

He had heard that death was peaceful, and he was not disappointed to know that this was the truth. With the image of his baby boy in his mind, Shaun Ketchum took his last breath as his body went limp.

A few seconds later, the bodies of both Aura Guardians disappeared in a golden glow, something that was considered impossible. But then again, there are mysterious powers beyond comprehension, who work in equally mysterious ways.

But the one thing that had happened today, would be the first move of what would change the entire Pokemon world in the near future.

Ash Ketchum, the son of two Aura Guardians, had become an orphan on this day.

Mewtwo-centric Third Person POV

His eyes snapped open, immediately studying his surroundings. He could feel the unlimited intelligence and power flowing through the mass that was called his body.

Weirdly enough, he knew most things about humans, yet he hadn't even seen one of them yet. He knew that in the world that he was walking in, humans caught Pokemon and made them fight each other, for recognition. This confused, yet angered him for some reason. A reason that he couldn't place properly.

He knew that he was supposed to be happy that he was alive, but he didn't understand emotions. Why were emotions even important? Humans and Pokemon alike should stay like him, stoic.

Lifting the piece of his body that was supposedly his 'hand', he saw that it had three projections on the end. 'Fingers' he recalled from his mind memory, something that he wasn't sure how it got there.

He looked forward and spotted a piece of metal that was about to fall on him. Somehow, he knew that it wouldn't be good for him if the metal fell on him. He needed to prevent the metal from falling down on him.

Suddenly, he felt a weird feeling in his hand, before a purple coloured beam of power shot through his fingers and hit the metal. The metal was covered in the beam, making it stop in its place, as if he was restraining the metal. Surprised by this, he folded his fingers in the form of a closed fist. Sure enough, the metal shrunk to form a coil, which was then thrown away when he jerked his fist to the side.

Ahh. So he had telekinetic abilities. This would mean that he was a psychic Pokemon. Hmmm. Not bad, not bad at all.

Just as he was about to try and further test his strengths, he felt his body lose control of itself. Looking down, he saw that his body was being enveloped in a bright golden glow.

Next thing he knew, he was standing in a huge hall with shining white pillars holding it up. Checking his surroundings for threats, he relaxed when he realized that he was alone.

Turning his head, he studied the walls of the huge hall. Each wall had a picture of some type of Pokemon carved into it. On further studying it, he realized that these were the legendary Pokemon. The first creations of Arceus, the Alpha Pokemon himself.

He could see the carvings of the Legendary Weather trio - Rayquaza, Groudon and Kyogre. Turning his attention to the other end of the hall, he saw the carvings of the reality dragons, the three legendary Dragon Pokemon that were second only to the Alpha Pokemon.

Giratina, Palkia and Dialga- the three Reality Dragons.

Before he could do anything else, he was forced down to his knees when he felt an absolutely overwhelming aura enter the Hall of Origin. The aura was suffocating, and he could feel his body getting heavy, forcing him to touch his head on the floor in front of him.

After what seemed like eternity, but was actually just a few seconds, the aura died down, lifting the extreme pressure from his back. He stood up and faced the end of the hall. There, on a pure white highseat, sat the Alpha Pokemon himself.

Arceus sat straight with a proud on his face, calmly studying the man-made Pokemon in front of him. A faint white glow emanated from the Alpha Pokemon, asserting his power and authority, demanding respect.

"Welcome, young one. I see that the humans have successfully created a Pokemon on their own." Arceus spoke in a rich, pleasant voice. It still leaked with power, but this time, it was a peaceful energy.

The feline Pokemon looked straight at the Alpha Pokemon and spoke, "Yes, Lord Arceus."

"What is your name, young one? All I know is that you have been designed using the DNA of my eldest daughter Mew." Arceus spoke with genuine curiosity. He may he the creator, but he definitely didn't feel the need to interfere in human matters unless they were important enough to demand his attention.

The feline Pokemon stopped at that. He remembered the bad man who had created him say something about naming him. That is when the name struck him. "They called me Mewtwo, Lord."

Arceus nodded. "A fitting name. After all, you are just as strong as Mew. I can feel your power, child. You are as powerful as any of my other children." The Alpha Pokemon stood up and slowly walked towards the Pokemon who was now named Mewtwo.

Reaching the man-made Pokemon, Arceus spoke, "Do you remember how you were able to escape the prison you were in, child?"

Mewtwo didn't like being called 'child', but he wasn't stupid enough to point it out to the being who could wipe him out of existence without even dropping a bead of sweat.

"I remember two humans. They let out some kind of blue energy that blasted the place. I was able to escape the glass capsule I was in." Mewtwo said, recalling what he had seen in the Team Rocket complex.

The Alpha Pokemon nodded. "Yes. They were Shaun and Delia Ketchum. Two of my Aura Guardians. But you see, they died while saving you, leaving behind an infant son of theirs."

Mewtwo nodded, not understanding where the creator was going with this.

Arceus continued. "You see, child. That little infant is fated to be the strongest Aura Guardian ever. And, he won't be able to get stronger without guidance. So, I ask you to take him under you and raise him. Train him in his Aura powers, Mewtwo. Make him the strongest Pokemon trainer and Aura Guardian the world has ever seen."

Mewtwo was about to refuse the order politely, when a weird sensation bloomed in his mind. He felt indebted to the two Aura Guardians for freeing him from Team Rocket.

He felt the need to repay their help in some way. Also, how hard could raising a human child be?

"I accept, lord. I will raise the child to be the most powerful Pokemon trainer and Aura Guardian the world has ever seen." Mewtwo spoke, as a small smile made it's way onto Arceus' face.

"That is pleasant to hear, child. Also, the boy's name is Ash Ketchum. He lives in Pallet town, near the Viridian forest in the Kanto region. I will send you there now. Any other questions for me?" Arceus asked.

But before any of them could speak, a pink ball of energy floated from behind and landed on Arceus' head. Mewtwo's eyes widened as it thought that someone was trying to attack the Alpha Pokemon.

But Arceus just chuckled and spoke, "It is good to see you too, Mew. I missed you, my child."

The pink ball of energy faded to reveal a small pink cat with a long nose and an even longer tail. The Pokemon was small, about half the size of Mewtwo, but the power that it radiated was nothing to joke about.

Mew then turned to the third Pokemon in the room and gasped. "Are you the one who was made by copying my DNA?" She asked in a small voice, full of excitement.

Mewtwo, not having any idea about emotions, just nodded silently. Mew squealed loudly and floated over to Mewtwo. Studying the purple feline thoroughly, she spoke, "Wow! That is incredible. You are just like me."

Mewtwo again nodded. Clearly uncomfortable from the physical contact with the small, bubbly cat in front of him, he turned to Arceus and spoke, "I should get going, lord. If you could just teleport me at the location."

Arceus, sensing Mewtwo's discomfort, chuckled and nodded.

As he was about to teleport the purple feline, Mew spoke loudly, "Ohh! You have to visit me at my home. I will show you around the tree of life."

Mewtwo again nodded and turned to Arceus. The Alpha Pokemon just blinked his eyes, and the next moment, Mewtwo stood in front of a small house. It was two stories tall, with a homey feel to it. Not that Mewtwo cared. The psychic Pokemon just entered the house and started to search for the baby.

Going up the stairs, Mewtwo saw that one door was slightly open. Reaching for the door, the psychic Pokemon pushed it open, to reveal a young woman feeding a small baby some milk from a bottle.

'This must be the kid.' Mewtwo thought, as he used his psychic powers to put the young woman to sleep.

Closing his eyes, Mewtwo prayed, "Lord Arceus. Please make sure to have some Pokemon wipe her head off about the memory related to the child."

Stepping forward, the purple feline picked the small baby in his hands and studied the small human being. It was chubby, with full cheeks and pink lips. The baby had a small tuft of brown hair on his head. Sensing that the bottle of milk had been removed from his mouth, the baby opened his eyes to reveal warm brown eyes shining with curiosity.

The baby let out a small wail, demanding the milk back. Surprisingly, Mewtwo understood what the child wanted, and used his psychic powers to bring the bottle of milk near the baby's lips. The child immediately latched his lips on the bottle and started to suck the milk contentedly.

Mewtwo then floated to the roof of the house, and then shot forward in the direction of the Viridian forest.

Reaching the center of the Viridian forest, Mewtwo used his psychic powers to create an illusion around the location they were at. This was to prevent trainers from approaching them.

Setting the child down on the crib that Mewtwo had brought along with him from the baby's house, the purple feline sat down and spoke, "Hmm. You are an interesting object. I guess it won't be completely horrible to raise you up."

The baby's eyes opened again as he finished drinking the milk. Looking over at Mewtwo with his big brown eyes, the baby gurgled softly, before raising his hands.

Mewtwo had absolutely no idea what to do now. So, he extended one of his own hands towards the child, expecting the baby to give him a handshake.

Instead, the baby grabbed one of Mewtwo's fingers in his fist, before starting to suckle on it.

Groaning, the psychic feline looked up at the skies and muttered, "Not funny. Not funny at all, lord Arceus. Raising this baby isn't as easy and fun as I thought."

The baby followed Mewtwo's eyesight and looked up at the sky. The next moment, an aura sphere shot out of the baby's hands, and flew up high in the sky, where it exploded like a firecracker.

The child looked amazed by this and started to clap his hands excitedly.

Mewtwo studied the child's display of power, completely surprised by it. The power that the small baby had shown was incredible, and it was nowhere near what the baby could do when he reached his full potential.

Mewtwo looked at the child's eyes, which still had a small tinge of blue in them, and spoke, "Maybe teaching you won't be so boring after all, Ash Ketchum."

Also, I am most familiar with Kanto Pokemon, so, expect to see them more than the others. Honestly, Charizard was, is and will remain my favourite non-legendary Pokemon. Greninja and Lucario are close seconds.

Anyway, thank you so much for reading this. Hope you enjoyed it.

Please favourite and follow the story. Let's aim for about fifty favourites and follows before I release the second chapter.

Ok then.

Thank you

Until next time

Peace out
