There were a few reviews that didn't agree with how I write my story. I do not mind, everyone has their opinion but I like to point out my thoughts.
I won't name the reviewer who said that he or she didn't see a point in resurrecting Harry's parents and what they could add to the story. Let me say, I haven't seen much in where Harry's parents' were resurrected. If you go back to book one and the Mirror of Erised. This Mirror showed his deepest and most sought-after desire, his family.
Who said that the mirror hadn't any effect on Harry? I used the mirror to justify his reason for bringing his parents back. The thought of his parents has always lingered in the back of his mind, even when throughout the long life he forgot sometimes, however, when seeing a family doing family things parts of memories return which reminds you of the good time or the desires.
We have Sirius who stayed for almost thirteen years in Azkaban and knew he was innocent because he repeated in his mind that he didn't kill the potters. There were many times throughout the books and movies that he always thought back about James, so I don't think he ever forgets his best friend.
Combine these two, do you really believe that Harry or Sirius would forget Harry's parents and would have done anything to see them back into their life? With Harry experimenting, we got the Dementors and other creatures that the Wizards of today know.
About time jumping, this will happen a few times in the story. From now on, they would be kind of flashbacks. Moments in History and see how Harry lived in the past. There will be more interactions with other monsters, gods, etc. This story will use things from other movies and books because I have something big planned and I guess that a few readers have already seen how complex and chaotic Harry actually is.
As for Serafall Leviathan not being able to resurrect Harry, isn't this the choice for Harry to make. I believe, if a person wants to accept a peerage piece then this could be possible if the receptionist of this new is so acceptable with the thought of being turned that this is possible. As for Harry, do not forget that he absorbs souls and powers from other creatures. He could have easily absorbed the magic and made a connection like this. It is all about free will and Harry wanted to add this power to the deal he had made.
Thanks for listening to my rant and I hope you enjoy this chapter. One more chapter and then to a new season of this story.
Sounds of panting could be heard in the backyard of Leviathan castle. The prone forms of both Lily and James lay on the cool grass, their bodies covered under a layer of dirt and sweat. Towering over them is a young man with long curled blonde hair, his name is Frankenstein. His face, a mask of gentleness...however there was something wrong with his smile. It didn't really fit well with him and the two Potters know why. Their son's servant is a real sadist. The past six months, they had trained under his care. Those six months were something they had only expected out of nightmares.
"I see that my training has tired out your bodies, but do not fear. I, the great and amazing Frankenstein, decided to train your minds while your bodies rest. Sit up and we can start," The soft and velvet voice of their sadist caressed their ears. Lily and James tiredly pushed their battered and tired body up into a seated position. "Explain to me why the Wizards and Witches use a wand to cast a spell, James?"
James let out a groan as he shifted his weight into a more comfortable position for his body before he replied. "Wizards and Witches use a wand that is made out of a magical tree and which contains a magical core from a magical animal that fits best with the core of the magical."
"Thank you James for enlightening me on Wizards and Witches' weaknesses," Frankenstein said before his attention switched towards Lily. "And perhaps you can explain why they never thought to use their own body as the Medium and cast their magics as all other magical beings do."
Lily frowned at the question. "There were many that had tried to use wandless magic, but there weren't many that succeeded. Those that we know about who could use wandless magic is our own Headmaster Dumbledore and there were rumors that the Dark Lord could use magic as you said."
"I have lived for a long time, not as long as my Master, but long-living I did. I pursued knowledge, I read long-forgotten scripts and tombs that my Master has written or collected. In these bindings of knowledge, I learned about the Magician who wielded great powers. They were leaders, oracles, and advisors, and their wisdom was sought by all. In those times, they didn't use any silly wands or incantations. They thought, imagined, and pushed magic into their desired effects. So, where did they go wrong?" Harry's parents were hooked when Frankenstein spoke. "It started with Merlin, a powerful witch with a magical strength almost unheard of amongst mortals. Her magic and knowledge of how to wield her powers had saved her many times and she with her gift protected those who couldn't. Her people at that time were peaceful, kind, and always ready to help those in need. However, their reputation and their gifts were blackened by the Church. They were accused of gaining their powers and wisdom from the Devils. However, because of magic, they managed to hide from the prosecution. The Crusaders and the Church were unsuccessful, till they managed to find a few children. Young Wizards and Witches were turned to the Church and they became the first Priests who believed that their powers came from God."
"The Church used our own people against us!" James exclaimed in shock.
"There is no easier way to say but yes, our enemies deployed Witch and Wizards, under a new name to further put their claim on them...Exorcists. Warrior Priests and nuns who fought in the name of Yahweh and Christ. From Heaven, Angels descended who taught a few of the Exorcists how to imbue their weapons and crosses with Holy Magic...and in the process, they completely forgot their origin." His students were shocked and Frankenstein didn't smile this time. Once he deemed that there had passed enough time, he cleared his throat to get their attention and resumed his story. "Merlin learned of this threat and so she gathered the wisest and strongest of her people. They needed to find a way to protect their children from Church claws and so the first wands were crafted. Tools to help the children to protect themselves, no longer did they need long training in both the body and discipline, now all they need is an incantation and a wand to drive off the Church."
"They were successful, weren't they? Our people managed to drive off the Church but what happened next?" This time it was Lily that spoke and she had a suspicion of what came next.
Frankenstein looked down at his student, his face shadowed and his lips thinned. "The Witch Hunt happened when the Church had enough Exorcists to create their own army. They no longer needed to keep the Devil worshipers alive and they specifically targeted women, because from the Church perspective only they dared to give birth to hellspawn."
Lily gasped and brought her hands to her lips. "I had read stories about how the Church judged women in the medieval age. They put women they believed to be a witch on the pyre, or they attached ropes with huge stones to their feet and sank them to the bottom of the lake. If the woman was a Witch, she drifted to the surface and breathed, only for the knights to litter her with arrows, if she was innocent...she drowned. The Magical History books were slightly different as the Witches still tried to rescue innocent non-magical, other times they smuggled them out of the village. But the story was, all the same, only the Witch survived underwater by casting wandless a bubblehead charm."
"That is correct, Miss Potter. You know your History and the Church did a very good job in brainwashing the kidnapped children. They were even so good that they forgot that part of History and always thought that they were blessed and now most Exorcists believe that they all can drive away evil because they believe in God. Their belief in God and the whitewashing of their own History about certain events had made them all believe that so long you believe in God, you regain his blessings to do his Wonders while in reality, they have deployed their own Witches and Wizards. However, I did not plan to start a conversation about your people's history, but about Magic." Frankenstein guided them back to why the Wizards and Witches moved over from Wandless to Wand. "Your people noticed the ease of spellcasting with a wand and slowly and surely, they started to adopt wands. The idea that they needed magical animal donations grew and before they knew it, wandless magic became something of a past. Their own ignorance caused them to give birth to squibs because the parents' own Magical core was small and there wasn't enough to give some magic to the child to let them grow their own core."
James choked upon discovering how squibs were born. Those that followed the Dark Lord were wrong, they refused to accept their own shortcomings and threw away their own sons and daughters because they couldn't part with a bit of magic. "I wonder what the Purebloods would think when they heard this theorie?" Brown eyes glanced up at his trainer when Frankenstein chuckled. "These so-called Purebloods already know the reason. Upon discovering how this came to be, they stamped this out and banished any of this information to reach the shores of Britain. Some Purebloods kept this for themselves, as the House of Bones for example. And beyond Britain's borders, all magical conclaves knew about this growing threat to magic. This is one of the reasons why Dark Wizard Tom never managed to venture out and tried his hardest to conquer Britain."
"If Voldemort and his people knew...then what about the Ministry?" James asked.
"Same story, buried and forgotten in favor of the Purebloods. Now that you know why your people used wands, you shall forget everything you have ever learned at Hogwarts and start over again. You have less than eight years to get you up to the level I want you to be. If you manage to make good progress, I will see if I can make some arrangement to implant you in the life of young Master Potter. Perhaps Lily can be a teacher on his school, keeping an eye out for him and you can become Director of Drillings and let obese man bury himself into loans." There was a dark glint in the handsome blonde man which James liked, a prank in cruelty. "Till then, work hard and make your King and Queen proud, now get off your ass and run a hundred laps around the lake!" Commandeered Frankenstein and Lily and James tiredly pulled themselves back to their feet.
A blast that looks like a pillar of fire was launched from a small shadowy figure in the air, rushing towards a man standing on the ground who held both hands in front of him. A red-gold magical circle appeared in front of him, conjuring a huge crimson medieval heater shield with a large golden Nemean lion with its maw opened. A magical roar came from the shield and a golden dome appeared around the man that stopped the tower of fire.
James Potter sweated under the heat that his wife had summoned with her attack. He had always known his wife was fiery, but this was on a whole different level. Releasing his spell with one hand while his other kept the shield up, James willed several magical circles that started to conjure spears out of the earth. Using his knowledge from his Hogwarts time, only now he could create more than one. Seeing that his spears were all created, Lily's husband pulled his arm back as if he held a spear before doing a throwing motion.
All the spears he had conjured flew into the air towards his target. James could see how his wife gracefully used the aerial maneuver to dodge the many spears. She even deflected a few with her bare hands. James smiled, in the past when they were still normal Magicians, they weren't this battle-wired, but now with this new life...if Voldemort ever dared to fight them again...he would lose hands down this time. Sending a new folly of spears, Harry's father noticed that his wife had created a whirlpool of water that surrounded her and ensnared his spears. "Oh by Merlin's hairy balls!" His wife returned his earth-spears plus a few ice spears back to him. He returned his free hand back to his shield to increase the density of his shield.
Like cannonballs, his wife's attack slammed into his shield. James flew back but held on, burying his feet into the ground that left two trenches behind. "Haaaaah!" Screamed James, pouring more magic into his shield. The rain stopped after ten seconds and Frankenstein announced his presence. "That is enough training for today. Lily, come down and join your husband. James, well done in defending against your wife's brutal attack...she is one hell of a spitfire!"
"Thank you, sir," James said out of breath, his breathing was labor and his chest was rising out of control. "Lily and I have come far under your guidance, we thank you for everything you have done for us. In hindsight, the training didn't feel too tiring this time." He confessed which was met by a peal of joyful laughter from Frankenstein.
Frankenstein shook his head in amusement. "You sure that your wife hasn't tired you out too much because I still have some training exercises left for you. If you are up to them you can do them, after all, you still have room to grow into." Harry's servant could see his student's face turn white at the thought of more training. Frankenstein grinned amusingly at James and motioned for Lily to join them once landed on the ground. James' wife joined them, and she too laughed at her husband's blood retreating from his face, however you could see that she too was tired. "I start with saying that you two did a splendid job in embracing the Devil's culture and adopted the right way in casting magic. Lily, you have become incredibly powerful in your own right, using your own unique spells that you created. As for James, your control over your magic causes a lot of Devils to be left to bite in the dust and leave them with envy. Combined, you two are a terrifying duo. Individuals without any side-support, you two can easily be picked and taken down by anything that is not a Dark Wizard or Witches."
"What Frankenstein is trying to say is that you have progressed a lot in the four years you have stayed here in the Underworld. I believe that we can reward you with a mission, a relatively easy and peaceful one." Harry joined his family and friend, in his arms he held a small girl. This is his sister, Elaine who is two years old. "Frankenstein, I and my wife were going through my memories when I stayed at the Dursleys and we might have found a solution." Serafall's husband could see his parents brighten at the thought of seeing their son's younger self. "In my youth, I had a kind and beautiful teacher who always tried to help me out. She protected me at school from the bullies and from time had given me food because she found me thin."
"And you think that this person was me?" Lily whispered.
Harry shakes his head as he let out an amusing chuckle and wrapped his mother in a warm embrace. "Think so? I know that this happened because," from his pocket, Harry pulled out a beautiful necklace that he handed to Lily. "This is a necklace that I saw Miss Gardener wear around her neck when I met her. Later in life, when my wife and I saw my memories of my childhood, I was intrigued with the unique design. This design is called an ouroboros and means wholeness, as in our family being reunited."
"This is beautiful Harry," she proclaimed and enthusiastically embraced her son, who looked the same age as her...twenty-one. "And this symbol is so fitting for us. But why did you choose the name Gardener?"
"Our name….the Potters came from the craft of Pottery. Despite that, the so-called Purebloods find our name too Mundane, in reality, our name was one of the foundations of modern Potioneer. Our Ancestors created cauldrons from clay, potteries to store food or potions and ingredients. Later they invented glass containers, copper and metal cauldrons, and much more." Harry started to explain his family's rich history. "Without us, families like the Greengrass who trades ingredients for potions and wands crafting wouldn't exist without us. We later improved our containers by adding runes to increase the sustainability of the contents. Because we go hand in hand with ingredients, I decided that Gardener is a fitting name."
"Because we work closely with the Greengrasses that need us for sustainability for their products. Smart thinking son," James praised his son. "What do you have for your old man, not a necklace like your mum?"
Harry laughed and pulled out a simple silver necklace that, like Lily's, consisted of a dragon, however, those were many mythical serpents that formed one necklace. You could vaguely see the ouroboros in the design, only multiplied. "Yours of course is a bit manly, but I saw yours once when you were invited by Vernon to come for dinner." James clenched his hands into fists, wondering how he could accept such an invite.
"I promise you, my son. We'll try to make your childhood the best of what we can do without affecting the timeline. You deserve a time of happiness in your childhood and Elaine deserves a brother who is happy." James brought his face closer to his daughter, smiling at the way the little girl was laughing. "What do you think, little princess? Does your brother deserve a happy childhood? Playing with you in the backyard under the shades of a tree and singing a song to his princess~." Elaine's father made silly faces as he spoke to her, which made her giggle all the more.
Elaine giggled when her brother started to play with her, throwing her in the air. Little Devil wings unfolded and folded behind her back, holding her a little airborne before she fell towards her brother who caught his sister. "I have arranged a house that is seated across from the Dursleys. We can keep an eye out for the younger me and perhaps we can let Elaine and Harry play together."
"And where would you be, son? Don't think we leave you behind, because you're still our child despite living more than ten times our lives." James said while gazing seriously at his son. "We are family, something this symbol stands for."
Harry chuckled and smiled. "I'll be there in my child form and under the pseudonym of Henry Gardener who is four years older than the Harry of this time." He caught his sister in his hands and placed her on his shoulder. Harry could feel the tiny hands grabbing his long hair and used them as a reign to secure her spot. "With this identity, I can reign in Dudley if he ever tries something when the teachers aren't around. I believe we have spoken enough and I can't stand the scent of your sweat. Go wash and by the time you guys are done, my family in law and the Gremory would be here."
"I know that you have explained your reasons for resurrecting your parents, but you know that the time gap between you and them is too large to bridge. Your parents are trying to be a good parent to you, however, you have been an adult for many years, long before humanity. I don't see how this is going to work out, especially of who you are." Frankenstein commented as he took his place next to his Master.
"Your words are true, my old friend. My parents are trying to be good parents to me, and sometimes I wonder why I let my wife resurrect my parents. But then, what is their short life compared with mine? They gave their everything, love, life, and trust in me to survive and I did. Now I repaid my debt to them by giving them a second chance. And my parents' second chance starts with good fortunes as my family grew bigger by one member, Elaine Potter and she is the most adorable little sister I have." Harry smiled and started his walk back towards the castle with Frankenstein at his side.
His friend chuckled and said. "Don't let Serafall hear you say about who is cuter, because last time this happened, you two delved in a war that grew out of proportions. Dressing up your sisters with princess costumes, baking cake, and leaving a kitchen behind with walls smeared with whipped creams." Frankenstein shivered at that thought because it was him and the servants that had cleaned up the aftermath.
"That was something," Harry thought back with a fond smile. "And one last thing about me and my parents. Over a few years, this age gap won't matter much, because time is just a number and we are not like humans short-living. Humans are naturally jealous of what they don't have and belittle everything that is out of their control. Sometimes I pity the humans, however, in the later years, I have difficulty really give them any. The industrial revolutions polluted the planet heavily and the second world war had left scars behind that take eons to heal."
"Of course Master, I forgot that your parents could adapt to their new lifestyle, just like I did." Frankenstein chuckled and opened the large door of the castle entrance."Just like I had my sister and you to help me adapt to my new life, so do your parents have help in all of us. You're a good son to your parents, Master and I couldn't have asked for a better Master."
"Frankenstein never is afraid of your own freedom of thoughts and speech," Harry said as they entered the castle. "Stay true to yourself." He finished just as the door opened completely.
Waiting at the other side of the door is a small girl whose hair is styled in a short bob cut, her violet eyes sparkled behind her large round glasses when she noticed the person she had waited for. Her clothes were similar to her big sister's, a magical girl dress that was blue in color. "Uncle Harry!" Her voice bounced off the walls of the castle as she launched herself to her uncle. She latched her small arms around her uncle's leg and laughed as she looked up. "Welcome back Uncle!"
