Chapter Summery: Returning home, Agnarr talks to Elsa in an attempt to clear the air between them. Later, Elsa and Anna speak with Ahtohallan again and learn some surprising information about it.

Disclaimer: I don't own Elsa, Anna, Cassandra or any other Disney characters or locations that appear or are mentioned in this work of fiction, Disney does.

Note: Credit to smc-smfan1 on fanfiction dot net for offering their prank idea and a certain person's name. Will make sense later in the chapter.

Note 2: The last part is finally done! ^_^ This will be the last update for a while, as I don't currently have the next chapter thought out about what it should be. But this isn't the end of the series though. I do have future ideas I wanna get to, like Iduna's return or Elsa and Anna visiting the Northuldra and perhaps more content with Cassandra, aside from a very short scene, she was absent from the whole chapter, don't wanna make the effort to bring her into the story just to ignore her. As for the more recent chapter 14 content, I still need to brainstorm that. but anyway, enough talking, there's a story to get to. ^_^

- Twelve minutes later -

- Arendelle castle -

Upon arriving back home, Anna departed from Agnarr with Juleka to find Isabelle, while Agnarr went to find Elsa and after asking a servant of his daughters location, he arrived to Elsa's room, previously his and Iduna's room; which prompted a small chuckle from him at the oddity of returning home and his room no longer belonging to him.

Upon knocking on the door, Agnarr started to announce himself before he heard a gasp from behind the door and the clear sound of something hitting the floor and shattering, followed by Elsa muttering a swear.

"Who is it!?" asked Elsa from behind the door, she clearly sounded aggravated.

"Your father." answered Agnarr, though was curious what Elsa was doing. "Sorry to disturb you, I can come by later."

"No, no... give me a sec." replied Elsa. "I gotta cle- j-just gimme a sec."

Agnarr heard the faint sounds of Elsa's magic, before a few moments pass and the door opens to Elsa, her face a little flush.

"Hello Father." greeted Elsa.

"Hello Elsa, can I step in for a moment?"

"Sure." answered Elsa as she stepped aside and allowed Agnarr to enter the room.

"What broke, by the way, I heard something shatter." asked Agnarr as he stopped towards the middle of the room and turned to face Elsa, who gave a small chuckle.

"Nothing important, so what's the reason for the visit?"

"Well, I want to apologize for what I said to you and Anna earlier when you revealed your relationship." answered Agnarr.

"Oh..." replied Elsa, looking surprised, as if she didn't expect the apology. "Really?"

"Yes; I've had time to think about it and while I still don't agree with your choice of having a romantic relationship with your sister, I'd rather avoid creating a wedge between us more-so than fight you two on this; especially after we've only reunited for a couple of days."

"Oh, wow." replied Elsa with a smile. "I'm so glad to hear that." she added, which prompted a little smile from Agnarr.

"Just, try to keep the affection within reason when I'm around, ok?" asked Agnarr.

"Of course! We're not all over each other in public after all."

Agnarr couldn't prevent the small chuckle that left him from Elsa's very similar comment that Anna had given.

"Oh really? Then why do the citizen's suspect your relationship?"

"That's..." started Elsa, before looking unsure. "We don't kiss in public; with people around anyway. We just like to touch and look at each other."

"Yanno, Anna had the same answer." replied Agnarr with a smirk, which prompted a small chuckle from Elsa.

"Yeah, I saw you two outside. I'm glad you're talking again."

"We are; Although I don't agree with your choices, I want to understand them. Can I ask you something?"

"Sure."

"How would you feel at the idea of me and you having a similar relationship that you have with Anna?" asked Agnarr, before a small chuckle left him as he saw the cringe of Elsa's face.

"Eww!"

"Hehe, I'm actually glad you have that reaction." commented Agnarr.

"Of course I would, that's just gross!" replied Elsa.

"Yet you don't feel that way with Anna?"

Elsa's look of disgust faded with the question, before briefly lowering her gaze with a sigh and crossing her arms over her chest.

"Point taken."

"I asked a similar question of Anna and she said the disgust of the idea never came to her, is it the same for you?"

"Well, I wouldn't say disgust..." answered Elsa, lifting her gaze to her father again. "But I was reluctant at the start, for the obvious reasons."

"Really?" asked Agnarr, with wide-eyed interest. "What convinced you?"

"Part Anna and part wanting to rebuild our relationship. As you're well aware, we didn't have a normal childhood. It's comforting to be around her and she's helped me though some things."

"I see..." replied Agnarr with a sigh, before he thought, 'So again, this stems from the separation and the fear we mistakenly instilled in Elsa.'

"So Anna was the one to propose this relationship?" asked Agnarr. "How did it start exactly?"

The ending question prompted an embarrassed chuckle from Elsa.

"Ehh, that, I'll keep to myself."

"Why, what happened?"

"All I'll say on the matter is that it started out innocent and developed from there."

"That's a pretty big jump for the proposed time-frame this relationship happened." commented Agnarr.

"We did move a little fast, I'll give you that, but the details of how our relationship started is private."

"This is a pretty important part of the relationship." stated Agnarr. "I'd like to know how it started."

"Unfortunately, how it started has some information I'm not comfortable sharing. At least, not now; possibly, maybe later."

"Well that's disappointing; Alright then." commented Agnarr, before he sighed and lifted a hand to Elsa's shoulder with a smile. "I know you don't want me to apologize for what the stress and separation your mother and I put you through-"

"Then don't." interrupted Elsa, reaching up and taking her father's hand in both of hers with a smile. "You're gonna say something like you feel responsible for how we ended up in a relationship, right?" she added, which prompted a smile from Agnarr. "Heh, I said it before and I'll say it again; we can't change the past, it happened; we can only deal with the result of it and that result is the wonderful relationship I have with Anna and I don't regret it one bit. Would us having a 'normal' relationship be ideal, maybe; for you, I'm sure it would be."

"It would." answered Agnarr.

"Heh, but my relationship with Anna is my ideal. You can disagree; that's fine, but I will love Anna in any way she accepts and is comfortable with. If the day ever comes that she's no longer comfortable with our current relationship, I will respect that choice. That will be her choice though, not one forced on either of us by you or mother." continued Elsa, which prompted a smiling sigh from Agnarr.

"You're really standing your ground on this."

"Yes I am." replied Elsa with a smile. "I'd really like it if you could find a way to be supportive of us."

Agnarr sighed again, more and more, this was looking to be a losing battle; there was no doubt that Elsa and Anna loved each other, but their manner of love still didn't sit well with him, it was wrong.

"Find some way to support you, huh?" asked Agnarr.

"Yeah, we're hurting no one with our relationship." commented Elsa. "And most support us."

Then, Agnarr recalled a topic that came up with Anna with a little smile.

"What about an heir?"

"O-Oh... uh..." replied Elsa, clearly caught off guard from the question as her face reddened.

"The topic came up with Anna and she mentioned that you two have had this discussion." commented Agnarr, smiling at Elsa's embarrassment.

"Y-yeah..." replied Elsa, releasing her father's hand. "A serious talk about that came up once. I was concerned about the future of Arendelle and mentioned to Anna that I'd need to produce an heir, but she was really against the idea of me being with a man, so she suggested producing an heir with magic."

"A magic induced pregnancy?" asked Agnarr.

"Yeah, we've actually asked- or rather, Anna asked Pabbie about it and he confirmed it was possible and there are multiple ways to go about it."

"Really?" asked Agnarr, with wide-eyed interest.

"Yeah... wait, is this what would allow you to support our relationship!?"

"Possibly, it would help." answered Agnarr. "I'm still unsure on it. Depending on the method, the child would be the result of incest and that brings its own issues."

"B-But, you and mother are alive again!" pointed out Elsa with a smile. "You don't need us to have a magical pregnancy."

"Elsa..." commented Agnarr with a smirk. "Are you seriously suggesting we 'replace' you two?"

"No, no, of course not! Not replace! It's just... You and mother aren't that old- I mean, you're still young! I'm sure you could have another kid or two- and they probably wouldn't even be magical like we are!" added Elsa, smiling nervously, which only earned her a smile from her father. "Why not?" she added, before Agnarr chuckled and shook his head in amusement.

"Elsa, any future little brother or sister you possibly get will not be a replacement for either of you. If you or Anna can still give your mother and I grandchildren, even magically, we would welcome and love them like any other." stated Agnarr, which prompted a nervous chuckle from Elsa as she stepped back.

"Any possible grandchildren will be a ways off."

"Hehe... of course; Anyway, I met your fairy friend."

"Oh, really? You met Juleka?" asked Elsa.

"Yep, it was quite an interesting encounter for me; never would've thought I'd meet a real live fairy."

"Heh, me neither, but Anna's interacted with her more than I have."

"Well she's here in the castle." commented Agnarr. "Anna invited her back to talk to Isabelle about meeting her mother."

"Oh, that's right." replied Elsa. "Izzy's mother agreed to meet her."

"Speaking of..." commented Agnarr. "Anna also told me Isabelle's secret."

"Oh, did she?" asked Elsa, wide-eyed. "What do you think about it?"

"It is unsettling that I was unaware of a demon working within the castle and her family and another living in Arendelle in secret; but that other woman who was with you and Anna in the Northuldra village showed me how, 'normal' demons are and Anna said the ones that live here just want normal lives and they contribute, so I'm fine with it."

"That's good." replied Elsa with a smile.

"I would like to meet the two families that live here though."

"I've met Izzy's mother, she's really nice; cautious, but nice."

"Oh also, Anna mentioned Isabelle is sensitive about what she is and I shouldn't just walk up to her and ask her about being a demon."

"Right, absolutely!" replied Elsa. "That's just asking for trouble, believe me, it's better if one of us is with you when you meet to talk to her about what she is."

"What kind of trouble would I be getting into if I met her by myself?" asked Agnarr.

"Eh, well..." started Elsa with a little uncomfortable blush. "You'd feel really, really... aroused."

"Oh..." replied Agnarr, as a small blush rose on his face.

"Yeah... if you scare her or stress her out with saying you know her secret, her powers of arousal will come out and affect you; so since she trusts us, it's better if one of us is with you to prevent that."

"I see, thanks. I'll make sure to do that then."

"Good." replied Elsa with a smile. "It's a really easy problem to avoid and it makes it easier on Izzy."

"Right, so..." stated Agnarr, placing a hand to Elsa's shoulder. "I'll let you get back to what ever it is you were doing. I just wanted to come and apologize and try to clear the air between us."

"Heh, apology accepted and the air is clean." replied Elsa, which prompted a chuckle from Agnarr, patting Elsa's shoulder before departing.

Upon Elsa closing the door after her father's exit, she sighed.

"Well him apologizing so soon was a surprise- a welcome one though. Anna's probably going to be busy with Izzy and Juleka." she commented, before turning around to look at her bed, before a smirk came to her face and with a wave of her left hand, her dress fluttered away, leaving her nude, as an icy dildo formed and hovered above her left hand.

"I can pick up from where I was interrupted!" commented Elsa with a delight.

- Twenty minutes later -

Fully dressed, Elsa walked down a hall, headed towards Anna's room, checking to see if she was there first before searching the castle or asking someone else. However, Elsa didn't need to reach her sisters room before she turned a corner and saw a little distance ahead of her, Anna standing in front of an open window and she caught a glimpse of Juleka departing with Anna waving her good-bye.

Anna lingered as she obviously watches the fairy leave, the glass dress she still wore glimmering in the sunlight, which allowed Elsa to walk up to her and draw her attention as she neared a couple of yards away.

"Oh, hey Elsa." greeted Anna with a smile. "You just missed Juleka." she added.

"Well that's a little unfortunate." commented Elsa with a return smile as she stopped within about two feet of Anna.

"I meet Juleka while I was out training." stated Anna. "I remembered Izzy's mother being willing to talk to her, so I invited Juleka to talk to Izzy about setting up a meeting."

"Good." replied Elsa, before she saw her sisters delight fade a little, though still smiling as she turned to the window again.

"I also talked to Father."

"I know." stated Elsa. "I saw two on the bridge earlier. I'm glad you're talking to him again."

"Yeah..." answered Anna with a sigh. "He still doesn't agree with our relationship, but he said he won't fight us on it. So, a compromise."

"Father came to me a little while ago and said the same thing." replied Elsa with a little smile before she reached out her left hand to Anna's left shoulder. "It hurts that he doesn't support us, but at least he won't fight us on this, and he wants to understand our decision."

"Heh, yeah, understand..." chuckled Anna, before she looked to Elsa with a smirk. "Did he ask you about our sex life?"

"Heh, no, but he did imply us being able to give him and Mother grandchildren could sway him." answered Elsa with a chuckle as well, before Anna giggled again and briefly placed a hand over her face.

"So embarrassing."

"Hehe, yeah, but it's much better than him actively trying to fight us on this."

"Yeah, but I don't want to tell him or Mother the weird stuff we do. I thought about countering with asking what sort of stuff him and Mother does, but I cringe just thinking about it."

"Really?" asked Elsa, before Anna added...

"I know, I know, I was the one to happily tease about what sort of stuff Mom and Dad did, but now that they're alive and well and could ACTUALLY start... yanno, it's weird. I mean, what about when Mother returns, we could get a taste of our own medicine, we could hear THEM!"

The remark prompted a giggle from Elsa, before she replied...

"I'm pretty sure that's a possibility."

"Ugh, let's change the subject. Father joined me in my training."

"Really?"

"Yeah, he wanted to spend time with me." stated Anna, before she smirked at Elsa. "I wish you'd come training with me."

"Heh, like I said, I'm fine where I am magically."

"Well I guess you'll be fine if I surpass you magically too, huh?"

"Fine by me." replied Elsa with a smile. "Learn a new trick?"

"Yep!" answered Anna proudly. "You have Ice and Wind; I now have Fire and Earth!"

"Really?" asked Elsa with wide-eyed surprise. "You learned a new element that quickly?"

"Yep! Although, it's pretty limited right now. The best I can do is create snake-line vines from the ground and I have to be in contact with the ground to even use my new Earth magic."

"Wow!" declared Elsa, before she quickly hugged Anna. "That's still amazing! I'm happy for you!"

"Hehe, thanks." replied Anna as she returned the embrace, before they pulled back. "Between the two of us now, we have all four elements!"

"Well you're right about that."

"You should really train your wind magic."

"I really don't see the need. I've been using ice this long, why bother?"

"For the variety, duh!" answered Anna. "What if you encounter a problem ice and water won't solve?"

"Then I'll just have to rely on you." replied Elsa with a smile, which prompted a smirk from Anna.

"Flattery won't help you here. There's no reason to limit yourself for no reason."

"Fine, fine. I promise I'll work on my wind magic."

"Good." replied Anna with a satisfied smile, before gasping. "Oh! By the way, I spoke to Ahtohallan!"

"R-Really?" asked Elsa with another wide-eyed look of surprise.

"Yeah; I mentioned to Father that Ahtohallan said we can call to it with that melody and Father was curious what the melody was and after thinking about it a bit, I decided to try and call to Ahtohallan and it worked. Father and I actually had a conversation with her."

"About what?"

"It mentioned Mother was doing fine, except for the apparent scare she had with Nokk."

"What!?" gasped Elsa as her anger quickly rose. "What happened!? What did that Murder Horse do!?"

"Whoa, whoa! Calm down!" quickly replied Anna, as she placed her hands to Elsa's shoulders and patted her to calm her. "Nothing happened, Ahtohallan said Nokk approached her to talk, but Mother ran away upon seeing him."

Elsa calmed considerably upon hearing the explanation, taking a moment to breath, before muttering...

"How dare he even approach her after what he did to her."

"Well, Ahtohallan also said that our grandmother is still doing fine, well, she's still alive."

"... Good." sighed Elsa.

"Also..." replied Anna with a smile. "We got to know Ahtohallan more on a personal level. She's actually kinda nice and funny."

"Really?" asked Elsa, with a curious look of disbelief on her face.

"Yeah, she actually admitted some stuff."

"Like what?" asked Elsa with a frown as she crossed her arms over her chest.

"Like the fact that she does need your help to free her from her prison."

"... So that's true." commented Elsa. "If she's been imprisoned, it must be because she's a threat after-all."

"Not exactly." replied Anna. "She said she liked to pull pranks and pranked the wrong person." added Anna, which prompted a stifled chuckle from Elsa.

"Seriously? A prank?" asked Elsa with a look of disbelief. "You actually believe that? It's been trapped for who knows how many thousands of years, because of a prank!?"

"She seemed genuine, so yeah, I do." answered Anna, which prompted a sigh from Elsa.

"Come on Anna."

"Talk to her for yourself then." suggested Anna. "She apparently needs your help. Lying to you would only hurt that."

Elsa lowered her gaze in thought for a moment.

"Hmm, you have a point, it's probably not a good idea to ignore Ahtohallan. And in the off chance that what it told you is true, I have more questions. Like what possible prank could be worth such a punishment, did it say?"

"I didn't ask."

"What happens if I do help it and free it?"

"Again, didn't ask, sorry." replied Anna, before Elsa sighed.

"Fine, let's go to my room before we call Ahtohallan.

Returning to her bedroom, letting Anna enter first before she followed and locked the door, Elsa sighs and crosses her arms over her chest again. She really didn't want to occupy her time with Ahtohallan, but the information Anna had presented her with concerning the spirit/person was too intriguing to ignore.

"I can call her if you don't want to." offered Anna.

"Sure, go ahead." answered Elsa, before Anna briefly cleared her throat before reciting the small melody.

Just moment's pass, before the sister's hears Ahtohallan speak to them, rather delightfully, to Elsa's surprise.

"Hello again Anna! Twice in one day, I'm- Oh, Elsa's with you."

"What. The. Fuck!" stated Elsa with a scowl. "What happened to that creepy, bored, detached voice you had!? Where's this chipper, excited voice coming from?"

"I can explain-" replied Ahtohallan, before Elsa lifted her hands up to the sides of her head.

"Actually, never mind, fuck it! I have some questions for you and I expect the truth, no more games!"

"Alright." asked Ahtohallan with a defeated sigh.

"Firstly..." stated Elsa, crossing her arms again. "Anna said you two have talked and you mentioned that Nokk scared our mother; what happened?"

"You're mother and her sister were out by a body of water and Nokk approached them, intending to talk with your mother, who was frightened by his appearance and ran away. Nokk didn't follow." answered Ahtohallan.

"And when did this happen?" asked Elsa.

"Yesterday."

"Has Nokk approached Mother since then?"

"No."

"Good. Anna also told me you need me to free you."

"Correct."

"What about your claim that you wanted me to move you closer to the mainland?"

"It was a compromise." Answered Ahtohallan. "As upset as you were, there was no way you'd free me if I told you my true request."

"You're damn right." commented Elsa.

"So, I'd accept being closer to people and having interaction with them; in the hopes that in the future, you could come to trust me enough that I would ask you to free me."

"Hmm, ok, I can believe that." stated Elsa. "Next and this is important; Why where you imprisoned?"

"The truth... isn't what you'd expect." replied Ahtohallan, clearly sounding embarrassed.

"I'm waiting." stated Elsa, as she placed her hands on her hips.

"Ok fine... I... like to pull pranks. Harmless pranks of course, no one was hurt!"

"You seriously expect me to believe that?" asked Elsa. "A prank got you into the situation you're in?"

"Yes! It's the honest truth! I can tell you want happened." offered Ahtohallan eagerly.

"Alright, I'm listening."

"Ok, so, I liked to prank people. Many thousands of years ago or however long it's been, there was a powerful sorcerer that was super uptight and all business, business, business; I swear the guy never smiled in his life. I just wanted to bring a little joy and levity into his stuffy life."

"...What did you do?" asked Elsa with a sigh.

"Nothing serious, I swear! I just boiled down a few various plants known for their amazingly powerful effect of causing the skin of a person who touches their leaves to itch like crazy. Made a potent little potion out of it, snuck into what was at the time, a really important meeting the sorcerer had with a bunch of his fellow uptight associates and 'mistakenly' spilled the potion on him."

Elsa and Anna, upon hearing the explanation, both had different responses; Anna chuckled and Elsa lowered her head and placed a hand over her face.

"Oh my God." muttered Elsa.

"Seriously?" asked Anna with a smile. "Ok, that is kinda amusing."

"Right!?" replied Ahtohallan delightfully. "But Uptight Sorcerer Guy didn't find it amusing at all, like AT ALL. Talk about excessive punishment; one day I was minding my business then BAM, lights out; when I come to, Uptight Sorcerer Guy has brought me to the deepest point of a magical ice castle in the mountains sealing me inside a block of ice and he just LEFT me there! Even separated the land and sent it out to the middle of the sea. I didn't even have the benefit of dying! How can he be so cruel!?"

Elsa, her hand still over her face, walked to her bed and sat down.

"Elsa?" asked Anna, before she heard a low chuckle from her sister, before shaking her head as the chuckle grew to a giggle, before she lowered her hand and lifted her head and looked at Anna with confused laughter.

"What the fuck am I supposed to say to that!? A stupid prank caused all this!?"

"Well..." started Anna. "At least we know Ahtohallan isn't evil."

"Right!" declared Ahtohallan. "I'm just a harmless prankster who pranked the wrong person."

Elsa simply lowered and shook her head, before Anna asked...

"So, Ahtohallan, why didn't you just free yourself when you realized what the sorcerer was doing? Didn't you have time?"

"Heh, I wish." replied Ahtohallan. "Despite my great power now, this is a result of me living for such a long time, my original powers have evolved a great deal."

"Wait..." commented Elsa as she lifted her head with curiosity. "That Sorcerer was more powerful than you?"

"Well, in terms of fighting or offensive-wise, absolutely; I was no fighter and I didn't have the magic for it at all."

"So..." started Anna. "The elemental spirits, giving us our magic, sealing a whole forest from the outside world, that's all a result of you living for a super long time and you didn't originally have this power?"

"Correct; my original, natural-born powers are useless in defending myself."

"So what is your original power?" asked Elsa.

"I have two main powers." answered Ahtohallan. "I can look into the past of anyone I touch and show them any event of their past. A really desirable and profitable power at the time, might I add."

"So Elsa's memory powers." stated Anna.

"Right."

"Then that must mean your other power is healing, right?"

"Nope."

"Really?" asked Anna.

"Yep, my second power I didn't find much profit in, but I can create windows into different realities."

"Whoa!" gasped Anna. "Like when you showed us our alternate selves!? You can create portals to other realities!?"

"No, not portals, windows. I couldn't traverse them. And those on the other side were unaware of me."

"That was then, though." stated Elsa. "What about now? That other Me was clearly aware of us." she added, before Ahtohallan became silent. "Hey!"

"You're correct." answered Ahtohallan. "It seems my reality viewing abilities have grown into portals. The other you detected my intrusion and intercepted me using her connection to her Ahtohallan."

"Wow." commented Anna. "So the other Elsa herself detected you, not her Ahtohallan telling her about it?"

"There's a little more to it than that." replied Ahtohallan. "From the limited information I have on the other Elsa from her interception, she and her Ahtohallan are sort of... one in the same."

"What's that supposed to mean?" Asked Elsa.

"Well, while you two are connected to me in a rather loose sense, the other Elsa, from what I understand, is more deeply intertwined with her Ahtohallan." answered Ahtohallan, before Anna asked...

"Are you saying 'that' Elsa is possessed by her Ahtohallan?"

"Hmm, not possessed necessarily, but she commands the power of her Ahtohallan as her own."

"Whoa." commented Anna.

"Wait." stated Elsa. "Are you saying the other me can come here at anytime now that she knows about us and Mother and Father?"

"Honestly, I don't know." answered Ahtohallan. "Her reality is the closet in similarities, but even her Ahtohallan and me are different."

"Different how?" asked Anna.

"Well I'm an actual person with a body." answered Ahtohallan, "And the other Elsa may not have access to reality-hopping portals, but she's able to detect and intercept one." added Ahtohallan. "So maybe if I don't make another portal to her reality, you have nothing to worry about." stated Ahtohallan, before Elsa sighed.

"There's no point in worrying about something I have no control over. I have enough to worry about here in my own reality." stated Elsa, before she fell back on her bed with a groan.

"Yeah..." replied Anna with a little smile. "But I do wonder if the other us' would get along. Heh, I wonder what Queen Anna is like." she added, which prompted a chuckle from Elsa. "Hey, what's the laugh for?" asked Anna with a little pout and her hands on her hips.

"Nothing." answered Elsa with amusement in her voice.

"You don't think I'd make a good queen, do you?" asked Anna.

"I didn't say that."

"But you were thinking it." stated Anna, before Elsa chuckled again and sat up with a smirk towards her.

"You don't have the patience to sit through a meeting."

"Ugh, they're so boring though!" complained Anna. "I'd rather be out in the town with the people, listening to their problems directly and maybe even fixing them or helping them out at that moment."

"Heh, well it's a good thing there are two of us." replied Elsa with a smile. "I can handle the 'boring' stuff and you be with the people." she added, which prompted a little smirk on Anna's face.

"Anyway... speaking of people, Ahtohallan?"

"Yeah?" replied Ahtohallan.

"If you were actually a living, breathing person, was your name always Ahtohallan?"

"No, actually."

Elsa and Anna both looked interested at that remark and Elsa asked...

"Then what's your name?"

"You actually want to know my real name? Seriously!?" asked Ahtohallan excitedly.

"I asked, didn't I?" answered Elsa.

"Then we can actually be friends!" declared Ahtohallan. "I haven't had a friend in forever!"

"Whoa, whoa, whoa!" stated Elsa. "Just because I want to know your real name doesn't make us friends."

"Ok, ok, but what about you, Anna?"

"Eh... friends is a little too soon." answered Anna with a nervous chuckle. "Maybe acquaintance?"

"Ok, ok, we can just take it slow. You're willing to talk to me and get to know me."

"Your name." stated Elsa.

"Right, uhh... what was it?" replied Ahtohallan, which prompted a look of surprise from Anna and Elsa, who asked...

"You don't remember your own name?"

"Give her a minute." stated Anna. "It's clearly been awhile."

"Of course I remember my own name!" declared Ahtohallan. "It's just been forever since I've had to say it. My name is... uh... does it start with a K? No, it's one of the earlier ones..."

As Ahtohallan clearly tried to remember her own name, Elsa and Anna shared a brief look; both, in particular Elsa, felt a little sad for Ahtohallan that it had clearly forgotten its own name.

"Emory!" suddenly declared Ahtohallan happily. "My name's Emory! Emory Doul. But my friends called me Emi!"

"Emory, huh?" commented Anna with a smile. "That's a nice name."

"Certainly more normal than 'Ahtohallan'." added Elsa.

"So you'll call me by my actual name from now on?" asked Ahtohallan eagerly.

"Sure." replied Anna with a smile. "Hello Emory."

"Hehe, hello, Your Highness." greeted Emory happily.

"No reason not to." commented Elsa.

"Ohh, this is so awesome! I have people to talk to again!" declared Emory with delight. "I have friends!"

"We're not you're friends." quickly corrected Elsa.

"Right, right; sorry. I'm just so happy!" replied Emory, which prompted a chuckle from Anna, before Elsa commented...

"I have a question concerning your possible freedom."

"Ask away!"

"Let's say I do free you; what happens next? Do the spirits that the Northuldra have lived with disappear, do our powers go away?"

"Ohh, that's a good question." added Anna.

"The spirits and your powers will stay." answered Emory. "I'll just be free to live my life again! Maybe I could live with the Northuldra, oh! I could visit you two!"

While the remark prompted a chuckle from Anna, Elsa simply sighed, before Anna commented...

"Oh, by the way Elsa, earlier when I was talking to Ahtoha- I mean Emory, she said she looks like you."

"Seriously?" asked Elsa, before Emory added...

"Yep, but I'm better looking!"

"Good for you." replied Elsa with a sigh.

"That's it?" asked Emory. "No comeback?"

"For what?" asked Elsa. "You really think I care if you think you're more attractive than I am? How old were you when that sorcerer sealed you, fifteen?"

"I was twenty for your information."

"Heh, so I'm older than you." chuckled Elsa.

"Not technically. My body's just been frozen young." replied Emory.

"Heh, so you look like me, is it a mirror image are there differences?"

"I have bigger breasts." answered Emory proudly.

"Wow..." replied Elsa in mock amazement as she gave a slow clap of her hands. "You're right, you're sooo much more attractive! How can I ever recover from such humiliation?" she added, which prompted a snicker from Anna. "Let me guess, you have long beautiful hair that catches the wind just right?"

"Alright Ms. Smarty-pants." replied Emory with annoyance. "I'll have you know I like short hair. I have beautifully black short hair that sweeps back into an upwards point, sorta spiky."

"Hmm, that's a weird hairstyle." commented Anna.

"Well I like it." stated Emory. "It's easy to sleep in too and very manageable. My friends liked to tease me though-" she added, before Elsa stifled a laugh and asked...

"Cause it makes your head look like an onion?"

"Ugh! Not you too!" declared Emory, before Anna giggled at the mental image. "My head does not look like an onion!" she added, which prompted Elsa to join her sister in her giggling.

"I'm just teasing." commented Elsa with a smile. "A self-proclaimed prankster such as you can handle some teasing, can't you?"

"Of course!" answered Emory. "It's just annoying to hear the same thing. But there is an upside to this; If you're teasing me, it just means we're one step closer to being friends." she added delightfully, which earned a groan from Elsa, before Anna commented...

"You really want a friend, huh?"

"Yes! You can't imaging how boring it is to be alone for so long!" answered Emory.

"Wait." stated Elsa. "Were you awake or conscious for this entire time?"

"Pretty much." answered Emory. "I had periods were I slept through parts of it, but there wasn't much I could do when I was awake."

"What about the spirits though?" asked Anna. "You weren't alone the whole time at least."

"Ugh, how sad is it that I created my own 'friends'?" complained Emory. "But it probably kept me sane- well, saner than I would've been without them. Gale's really the only one who keeps in touch and Nokk's a jerk."

Elsa and Anna both looked surprised by the ending remark and Elsa asked...

"You don't like Nokk?"

"I wouldn't say I don't like him. He can just be annoying at times." answered Emory. "He was the first of the spirits I created and at the time, I still really despised that Sorcerer who sealed me and some of that transferred to Nokk and he turned out as a sort of overprotective brother, using his power over the seas to protect me from other people."

"Wow." commented Anna. "Talk about ironic. A companion you create becoming a sort of jailer?"

"Ugh, tell me about it." replied Emory. "It's the cruel irony of my life." she added dramatically. "Nokk, born of my anger from the Sorcerer sealing me away and my unyielding protector; Gale, my desire for freedom who goes wherever the wind blows; Bruni, the embodiment of my youthful playfulness; and lastly, the Earth Giants, the grim reality that I'm forever trapped, unmoving like a great boulder at rest. Even saddest of all, while my power grows and grows through the ages, I'm powerless to free myself."

"Man, that's rough." commented Anna.

"That's the understatement of all time." replied Emory. "But then; resigned to my undying fate, the horrible actions of your grandfather gives me a spark of renewed hope to possibly end my suffering!"

Elsa and Anna both had an uncomfortable look on their faces from the reminder.

"Oh, sorry." stated Emory.

"Forget it..." stated Elsa, shaking her head, before a curious thought came to her. "Wait, possible end to your suffering? Are you not even sure I could free you?"

"Heh, honestly... no." replied Emory. "But you were the first people to come anywhere near me since I was sealed. None of the spirits could even get past that magic wall, let alone to the deepest parts of the castle were you only then began to feel the cold. You're the best chance I have of tasting freedom again."

"Wait a minute..." commented Anna. "Is that Sorcerer guy that sealed you dead or alive? What if Elsa frees you and it sends a magical beacon or something to him and he comes after you?"

"Or me!" declared Elsa.

"I have no idea if he's still alive or not." answered Emory. "But he's never come to check on me so he's probably just forgotten about me if he is still living." she added, before Anna commented...

"... and he'd be an Ancient if he was still alive. Meaning we'd be no match for him."

"What's the Sorcerer's name?" asked Elsa. "Do you remember?"

"The guy that trapped me here? How could I forget!"

"Well you forgot your name." pointed out Elsa.

"I did not!" declared Emory. "I told you my name, that clearly shows that I didn't forget! Anyway, his name's Von Ludwick."

"Von Ludwick?" repeated Anna. "That's an interesting name."

"Is he human?" asked Elsa.

"The last I saw of him, he was human." answered Emory. "It's entirely possible that he let himself get turned into a demon of some kind though to extend his life."

"Well, next time I meet Silvia, I'll ask her if she knows anything about a Von Ludwick." stated Elsa. "Until then, I'm not even thinking of freeing you and risking drawing the attention of some incredibly powerful sorcerer."

"I'm with Elsa on this." added Anna. "Don't wanna poke a bee-hive that's not bothering you."

"Fair enough." replied Emory.

"Aside from sealing you..." started Elsa. "What's Mr. Ludwick like? Is he bad or evil?"

"No, no, he's just a boring businessman. As long as you don't offend him or interrupt a meeting with a prank, he's 'nice' I guess. He's just so... blah." answered Emory, before Anna asked...

"If he's so boring, why'd you bother pranking him, what's he to you? Oh! Did you have a crush on him?" asked Anna with a grin.

"What!? No! He was way older than me!" declared Emory. "He employed me briefly for my magical services. I saw how boring his life was and like I said before, I wanted to bring some joy into it." she added, which prompted a sigh from Elsa and lifting a hand to her forehead.

"Did it ever occur to you that maybe he was perfectly fine with his 'boring' life and didn't need some grown child messing that up?"

"Hey, just because I can appreciate the child-like joys in life doesn't make me a child!" declared Emory. "And how was I supposed to know he'd freak out over a harmless prank and seal me away for who knows how long? YOU wouldn't go over board and do something crazy like freeze Anna just because she interrupts a meeting you have."

"Unlike you." stated Elsa. "Anna knows not to needlessly interrupt me, unless it's something important."

"Yeah." added Anna. "...and I wouldn't dare try to pull a prank on her during a meeting. The sorcerer went overboard, yeah; but you have to admit blame too."

"I do admit blame." replied Emory. "I expected some retaliation; like at worse, turning me into a frog or something, not seal me away and forget about me, that's just cruel." she added, which prompted a sigh from Elsa as she stood.

"I think we're starting to talk in circles."

"Actually..." started Emory. "I hope he is still alive! So when I'm free I can-"

"Mind your own business?" questioned Elsa.

"Ugh, fine." groans Emory.

"Anyway..." started Elsa. "This conversation has been very enlightening, but I have things to do; is there any other important details we need to know?"

"Nope, I've come clean and all the important, relevant stuff is known now." replied Emory.

"Well thanks for admitting the truth." stated Elsa, before a small chuckle left her. "As ridiculous as it is."

"And I'm sorry about withholding information and manipulating you." replied Emory. "I was just worried I'd push you away from helping me. You weren't exactly in the best place mentally at the time."

"... No, I wasn't." admitted Elsa following a sigh. "But that was because of Nokk." she added, before muttering, "Stupid Murder Horse."

"What about Cassandra though?" asked Anna. "Where does she fit into this?"

"She doesn't." replied Emory. "I didn't expect her arrival or Nokk allowing her to reach me. I was so excited to meet another person, but I was anticipating Elsa's arrival so I didn't want to mess my plan up so I kinda panicked and told her to fight some future invaders in exchange for some of my powers. I was just happy to have another human close by. Then when Elsa came, I couldn't just abandon the other woman, so I lied and said she stole my power to get you to fight her and honor my deal with her."

"Hehe..." chuckled Elsa. "Sounds like you dug a hole of lies and manipulations."

"True, but I'm also trying to climb my way out with honesty." answered Emory.

"Yanno, you're right." replied Anna. "You have owed up to your faults and admitted the truth. You're trying; given your situation, it's really all you can do- it's all anyone can do really, just try."

"Thank you for recognizing that." stated Emory. "I admit to doing some questionable things and lying and manipulating people to get where I am now with you two, and I'm sorry about that, I just want to be free and have a life again; or... if that's not possible, death."

"Whoa..." commented Elsa, as she and Anna shared a surprised glance and Anna added...

"Seriously? You'd rather die than remain sealed?"

"If freedom isn't an option, absolutely." answered Emory. "I've lived for so long; and being so close to possible freedom... if Elsa can't or refuses to free me, then I ask you to kill me, grant me that freedom, at least."

Elsa and Anna share another glance, before Elsa commented...

"You know I can't kill you, I can't kill anyone! This is an unfair choice you're forcing on me!"

"I know, I'm sorry; but I can't continue on like this, I need to be free, one way or another."

"You want a potential friend to end your life." stated Elsa.

"Only if you can't or refuse to free me; it would end my suffering; and hey, you'd be rid of me." replied Emory, before Elsa sighed and looked annoyed.

"Yanno, this still counts as manipulation."

"... I know." answered Emory, disappointment evident in her voice, before Anna commented...

"I don't want you to die."

"Me neither." stated Emory. "But between an eternity of prison or death, I'd gladly take the sweet release of death. Heh, and honestly, everyone I know and love is dead anyway and if they're somehow still alive, they've forgotten all about me; So really, the closet connection I have is with you two." she added, before Elsa groaned and commented...

"Ugh, fine! I'm not going to kill you; but I'm not in any rush to free you and possibly have the guy that sealed you coming after me. So I'm going to see what I can find out about him, if he is even still alive or not."

"What if he is still alive?" asked Anna.

"If he's the 'boring businessman' Emory claims he is, then maybe we could have a conversation about the matter."

"Wow, you'd seriously do that for me?" asked Emory.

"I'd do it for my own safety." replied Elsa.

"But still, you're going out of your way to help me, after everything I put you through." stated Emory with delight returning to her voice.

"It's not that much trouble." replied Elsa. "I'll just bring the subject up the next time I meet Silvia."

"Still, it's such a friend-thing to do, thank you!"

"I'm not your friend." stated Elsa, before Anna commented...

"I'm warming up to you though."

"Really!?" gasped Emory.

"Yeah." replied Anna. "I'd say, on a scale from one to ten; one being enemies and ten being best friends; I'd say I'm around a five or six."

"Ohh, that's awesome!" declared Emory. "What about you Elsa?" she added, which prompted a small sigh from Elsa.

"Around a four or five, I guess. You're still in the hole for me, but I'm willing to give you a chance."

"Thank you so much!"

"Yeah, yeah. I have to get going." replied Elsa as she turned to leave. "I'm sure Anna will be more than happy to continue talking with you and let me know of anything of interest."

"I will, see-ya Elsa." stated Anna as Elsa departed the room and Anna sat on Elsa's bed.

"I'm so lucky you two are nice." stated Emory. "Especially Elsa; She has every right to abandon me, but she's gonna help me still."

"Yeah..." replied Anna with a smile. "In the end, Elsa's really nice. Both of us has just been dealing with a lot recently."

"Thanks to me." commented Emory lowly.

"Yeah... but you've also returned our parents to us." pointed out Anna. "We were expecting to bring their decayed bodies back, but you've given us a second chance with them. It's only fair to give you a second chance. I'd really like to meet you in person too."

"And I'd like to meet anyone in person. But I'm glad you two will potentially be the first."

"Hehe, got any idea of the first thing you're gonna do when your free?" asked Anna.

"Hug the first person I see!" declared Emory. "So you two. Oh how I've miss the feeling of another person pressed against me!"

"So you're gonna be a hugger, huh?" asked Anna with a smile.

"Absolutely! I'm going to go an a hugging spree and hug everyone I meet!"

"Hehe... I'm sure Olaf would like that. Oh, I just thought of something! Earlier today when I was with my dad, the issue of my altered memories came up and I realized, to my surprise, my original memories of Elsa having magic had returned. I was able to figure out that when we became linked with you, with that pillar of light, my original memories returned. I just want to make sure, that's what happened right? My memories returned because of what happened and the fact that your main power concerns memories?"

"Right, although it wasn't an 'on purpose' act by me; just a beneficial side effect." answered Emory.

"Alright, nice to know. Oh, one more thing; it's about our Mother. When we first met and you mentioned Mother was clever or smart about trying to warn me. You said mother was special and is sensitive to the spirits, but what she did was a little more than being sensitive to the spirits, she was actually using some form of magic to do what she did. We asked Mother if she remembered anything between her death and revival though and she said she didn't. So what's up with that? Does Mother have magic she doesn't know about?"

"Ah, that." replied Emory. "Well it would seem that your mother's sensitivity to the spirits, combined with residing within my area of influence; specifically within the ice of the castle, and her desire to protect you, allowed her spirit/will to temporarily gain some of my power. I was unaware of this until you mentioned that you were being influenced as well without my action."

"Wow, so for a brief moment of time, Mother had magic."

"She did."

"Too bad she doesn't remember it." commented Anna with little disappointment, before she gasped with a smile. "Oh! Or maybe Mother has some lingering magic, but she doesn't know it, is that possible?"

"Uhhh... I guess?" answered Emory, although she clearly sounded unsure. "It certainly isn't impossible; especially given how my magic changed and evolved. Heck, I could have abilities I don't know about; just like how I was unaware of my windows into other realities were now portals."

"Hehe, we could be a family of magic users!" commented Anna delightfully. "Oh, by the way, what you just said was interesting- Earlier, you said your normal magic was seeing someones past and creating windows into alternate realities."

"You're gonna ask me how did I go from that to having elemental powers, creating spirits and giving others magic, right?" asked Emory.

"Yeah." replied Anna.

"It's actually quite simple to explain." stated Emory. "The castle I'm sealed in is full of magical energy and being sealed within it, I've essentially become part of the castle and over the many, many, MANY years, my body has gradually absorbed the magical energy that surrounds me and with the passing of time and my own natural abilities growing in strength, so did my newly forming abilities into what they are today."

"Wow... so not only has your power grown, but you've adapted to your surroundings."

"Heh, wish I'd adapt enough to free myself with my own power, but that hasn't happened." replied Emory, before Anna leaned back to rest on the bed, looking up to the ceiling.

"So, what's up with the castle you're in?" asked Anna. "It was a pretty impressive sight inside when we visited. It must be important of some kind, who made it?"

"I have no idea who made this place." answered Emory. "But it's clearly been abandoned by whoever made it 'cause besides Cassandra and your visits with that demon woman, I've had no visitors since I've been here. For all I know, Von could've made it since he obviously knew about it and the fact that this place is still standing could be proof he's alive."

"Wow, so after all this time, you don't know anything about the castle?"

"Heh, crazy huh? I get abducted and brought to the closet thing to a dungeon in a magic castle I didn't know existed and I have no information about it." replied Emory, which prompted a smirk from Anna.

"Well you didn't lose your sarcasm." commented Anna, which prompted a chuckle from Emory, before Anna continued and asked, "Anyway, what was life like for you all the way back before you were sealed?"

"My life was good." answered Emory. "I wasn't royalty or anything like you are; but all things considered, my life was just fine. Thanks to my magical abilities, I rarely went hungry or without a roof over my head and I had plenty of friends. People really valued being able to see a memory in front of them, especially if it was someone who had died."

"Well that's good."

"Yep. I said earlier that Von employed me for my magical services, but while that was true, I also doubled as one of the servants in his home. So for a while, I lived with him; until the prank and he fired me and kicked me out."

"Whoa, that's unexpected." replied Anna. "Your pranking him makes more since now if you were living with him. But, you didn't have your own home?"

"In the sense of my own personal place to go without relying on anyone, nope." answered Emory. "Most of the time, I was either living with a friend or friends, an employer, like Von; or rarely, out in the woods with a temporary shelter. I can take care of myself and live off the land by the way, but if I don't need to, I'll gladly take the comfort of a sturdy home. So I'd be fine living with the Northuldra, as I suggesting eairlier."

"Wow, what about your parents though?"

"If you don't mind, I'd rather avoid that topic."

"Oh... painful memories?"

"Something like that, yeah."

"Then what about your friends?" asked Anna. "What kind of friends did you have? Were they all humans?"

"No, they weren't all humans." answered Emory. "They were really great though."

"What were their names? Maybe we could ask Silvia and see if any of them are alive." asked Anna, before she curiously didn't hear a reply from Emory. "Emory?"

"I don't... remember their names." replied Emory sadly.

"Oh... I'm sorry." commented Anna.

"I know I had friends; I just, don't remember their names, or their faces." stated Emory.

"But..." started Anna with a little smile. "You remember them teasing you about your hair, right?" asked Anna, with prompted a small chuckle from Emory.

"Hehe, I do. I remember some of the times we had together, but there names and faces have faded from my memory."

"Well, if not all your friends were human does the name, Edith, sound familiar?"

"Hmm, Edith..." commented Emory. "Is she a demon?"

"Yeah; A Succubus, a really, really old one."

"Hmm, the name doesn't sound familiar to me at all, but I did have a couple succubus friends, fairies, vampires, werewolves; I had a wide variety of friends."

"Wow." commented Anna.

"Yep, especially when I was younger; I met a bunch of kids that would come through what you'd call an orphanage now."

"Oh..." replied Anna, with some surprise, while Emory refused to tell her about her parents, she clearly just let slip the possible reason.

"Yeah, a really nice couple would take us in; like what that demon who was with you does." stated Emory. "Heh, I may not remember the names or faces of people, but I do remember my childhood was really great and I stayed in touch with many of my childhood friends as I got older. Didn't have much reason to be bothered by the fact that my parents aban-" explained Emory, before she stopped herself as she realized her mistake. "Ugh, crap..."

"It's alright." replied Anna.

"Sorry, didn't want to bother you with my sob story about my parents, not trying to win any sympathy points with that topic, believe me."

"Well, if you don't want to talk about your parents, that's fine; I won't pry." commented Anna.

"Thanks, any other topic is fair game though, so ask away!" replied Emory with delight returning to her voice.

"Hmm, ok... Oh! I just thought of something!" declared Anna as she sat up with a smile. "If you can't remember the names and faces of your friends, but you can look into other people's memories, couldn't you look into your own?"

"I could." answered Emory. "Before I was sealed here anyway. I can't actually use my magic on myself; If I could, I would've freed myself a long time ago."

"Oh, right... heh, well I don't really have anything left to ask." stated Anna.

"Oh come on, that sounds like your ready to end our talk. We can just chat then, it could be something small and mundane." urged Emory. "I wanna keep talking with you."

"Hehe, I'm sure you do." replied Anna with a smile. "I enjoyed talking to the real you, Emory; not the manipulative 'Ahtohallan'." she added, which prompted a nervous chuckle from Emory. "Hmm, what small thing could we talk about... Oh, I know, what's your favorite food- oh, no, snack!"

"That's easy; Apples!" answered Emory delightfully, which took Anna by surprise.

"Apples? Really?"

"Yeah, apples! I loooove apples!" repeated Emory delightfully. "They're nature's perfect snack! They can be tart, sweet; big, small. Something so delicious that you can just take right from a tree and eat, it's amazing!"

"Hehe, well I certainly wasn't expecting apples." replied Anna with a smile. "I like apples too, but I was expecting something more like chocolate. Elsa and I love chocolate, do you like chocolate?"

"I wouldn't know." answered Emory. "Chocolate wasn't a thing during my time."

"What!?" gasped Anna. "Chocolate didn't exist for you!?"

"Nope; well, I never came across it or heard about it at least." answered Emory. "Judging by your memories though, it must be really good."

"It's the best!" declared Anna delightfully. "It's horrible that chocolate didn't exist for you! You're missing out on something amazing! It's so creamy and sweet and melts in your mouth! You can melt it and pour it on other foods too- Oh, like Chocolate-dipped apple slices!" declared Anna delightfully, with a small moan at the thought of the delicious treat. "Ok, I've decided! The first thing I'm introducing you to when you're freed, is chocolate!"

"Hehe, then I look forward to it!" replied Emory.

- Meanwhile, minutes earlier -

Closing the door behind her, Elsa lingered and hears Anna continuing to talk with Emory for just a few moments. A small chuckle soon left Elsa from the very interesting and unexpected information she learned from 'Ahtohallan' and crossed her arms over her chest, lowering her head in a hand and shaking her head with a smile.

'Of all the possible reasons... a prank.' she thought. 'A fucking prank!'
