Izuku has recovered and now he and Demon are heading back to Earth! But when they get there, they need help getting Izuku home. Luckily there is a future hero that helps the two out. Maybe this is a future friend in the making for Izuku!

Izuku blinked as he stepped out of the mausoleum with Demon by his side. This was the day he would return to Earth, return to his mother. Demon was accompanying the five year old to his home – or at least to the police station. At this point in time, the two had just got out of a long walk from one of the hidden entry ways to and from Halloween Town.

Demon was trotting around on her hind legs as they left the cemetery. Izuku's eyes had finally gotten used to the sun when they left; despite the wind being cold, the black and white pin stripe suit that Sally made kept Izuku nice and warm. Demon didn't seem the least bit bothered by the chilly winds, maybe it was her fur? Or maybe the kind of demon Demon was. A coo from the demonic female pulled the boy from his own thoughts. Demon was looking around the area with some confusion and worry. Her single kitty – cat ear was raised in attention as her eyes scanned the environment for something. The only thing in the area was the local shrine for Musutafu, Japan. If the green haired boy remembered right, there was a police station about three or four blocks from the shrine. The only thing that Izuku couldn't remember which way the police station was. Demon took a few whiffs in the air before walking down the sidewalk on her three paws.

"Where are you going Demon – San?"

"Fire Hero." Demon didn't even look back as she continued to walk. Izuku scrambled to catch up as not to get lost; Musutafu was a fairly large city for a child and Izuku didn't want to have to deal with that for a long time. Demon only gave him a quick lick on his check to acknowledge Izuku being at her side. It didn't take long for the two to find who Demon had sniffed out. It was a boy like Izuku but with white and red hair that split right down the middle: the right was snow white and his left was a bright red. The boy's right eye was covered by some bandages, maybe a quirk related accident? The boy's left eye was a grey almost sliver color that stared at the demonic creature with a face void of most emotions. The new boy seemed to ignore Izuku's presence with only a few sparse glances when Izuku came up to Demon's left (the boy's right).

"Demon – San, we need to go." Izuku pulled a little on the demon's tattered shirt in hope that she would listen. She didn't.

"Smells like Fire Hero. Hero helps." Demon stated firmly not even looking away from the new boy. At the mention of 'Fire Hero' the boy seemed to tense up and seem to draw in himself even more.

"Who are you?" The boy asked with his only visible eye squinting in suspicion.

"I Demon. Little One is Izu Mido." Demon responded in her broken speech. The two toned boy looked at Izuku for clarification.

"What she means is that her name is Demon, yes Demon. And I am Midoriya Izuku." Izuku said with a slightly sloppy bow. Izuku's Mom had told him and Kacchan about manners that the two boys would have to practice and Izuku didn't want to stop practicing just because the folk in Halloween Town had more Western customs, "What's your name?"

"Todoroki, Shoto…"

"Sho Todo…Little Snow." Demon nodded before giving the newly introduced Shoto a hair gravity defining lick over his white hair. It had caught the dual hair colored boy off guard. It had also sent Izuku into a frenzy.

"AH! Demon, you can't just lick someone like that! You don't know if they would like it! Shoto – Chan I am sorry for Demon's forwardness!" Izuku started bowing in rapid succession to other boy.

"It's…okay." Shoto muttered as he flattened his hair back down. Izuku bowed a few more times while saying sorry before stopping, "Was there something you two needed?"

"Oh yeah, do you know where the nearest police station is? We are kinda lost at the moment and need help getting there."

"Yeah I know where it is. I can show you the way if you want." At the offer, Izuku nodded and Demon purred in delight. With only a small gesture, Shoto began to lead the other two to where the nearest station was. Izuku took note of the surroundings in case he was in the area and needed to get to Halloween Town in the future. It may not be needed but Dr. Finkelstein had said to look for routes back just in case.

Shoto's last name seemed very familiar to Izuku. Todoroki…Todoroki…Demon had said that the other five year old smelled like a fire hero but…the only fire hero that Izuku knew of was Endeavor. Maybe Shoto was a closely related to Endeavor.

"Shoto – Chan,"

"Yes?"

"Are you related to Endeavor?" As soon as the hero's name slipped through Izuku's mouth, Shoto became rigged and his visible eye turned cold. It was a subtle detail but sense waking up in Halloween Town; Izuku has been noticing the more subtle movements of others around him. He originally asked Jack about the change but it wasn't something that came from Halloween Magic. Jack speculated that Demon's demonic energy may be picking up on those subtle changes in movements but it wasn't something that could be tested out unless they want to stress Demon or Izuku out. Demon was more emotionally in tuned with those around her, even more so when it is children. However, Jack did say that it make logical sense as Demon had animal traits and animals were known to be more in tuned to the emotions around them. Izuku shook himself from his thoughts as Shoto responded despite his obvious discomfort to the query.

"He's my father." Izuku nodded and didn't press on. Izuku glanced at Demon and noticed her kitty – cat ear was closer to her hair than before. She rubbed her head against Shoto's right check like a kitty would rub against Izuku's leg. Something told Izuku that Endeavor was not to be brought up again – at least, for now. Shoto was quick to lead Izuku and Demon to their destination where a police officer greeted the three.

"Hello there! Wait, you're the missing kid!" one of the officers gasped when spotting Izuku's fluffy green hair. From the corner of his eyes, the green haired boy noticed Shoto's eyes widen just a little bit. Izuku nodded before walking up to the officer and started to speaking,

"Hello sir, I am Midoriya, Izuku and I need to get home to my mom."

"Of course kiddo, why don't you three come in and we can contact your mom." The officer opened the door so Izuku and Demon could come in. Shoto didn't want to come in though. The officer talked to the other boy for a bit while Izuku talked to a female officer with a quirk that made her skin look like jelly! After getting Izuku's information up, the officer was willing to answer some of Izuku's question about her quirk. Izuku only stopped asking her questions when the officer had to call his mom and tell her where her son was. At this time, Shoto had been brought into the station and Demon was sitting by his side. Izuku noted how Shoto looked…angry but also really sad too. Demon didn't like how the other child was feeling so was trying to rub the sadness out of the other boy. Izuku didn't like it either. It felt like some invisible force was squeezing his own heart. Something was wrong and Izuku wondered if the officers even noticed.

"Midoriya – Kun, you mom wishes to talk to you." The female officer said as she handed over the phone to the boy. Izuku nodded but never took his eyes off of his peer.

"IZUKU ARE YOU THERE BABY?" Izuku's mom cried out from the phone. Izuku couldn't help but cry as well as they talked. She mostly was asking if he was okay and if any of the people who "found" him was still there. He replied in turn but did tell his mom that Demon could speak very well as her "quirk" made it hard to make human like noises. His mother told Izuku that she was making her way over to the station to pick him up. With a quick goodbye and promises to see each other, Izuku handed the phone back to the officer by him and made his way over to Shoto. Demon looked up to Izuku and greeted him with a lick on the cheek before lying her head back down beside Shoto. Izuku noticed that Shoto's left hand was entangled in the demoness's fur. Shoto nodded to Izuku in acknowledgment as the green haired child sat on Shoto's right. The two sat in semi-comfortable silence with only the bustling police officers and Demon's purring in the background.

This small moment of peace was not meant to last it seemed, as the Flame Hero: Endeavor walked in and immediately, Demon started to growl. Her claws were exposed as were her teeth. She curled around the boys so they were out of sight from the Flame Hero, her hunches raised, fur on end, and tail fluffed up.

Once Endeavor's icy, cold blue eyes meet Demon's gold eyes – tension became so thick, Izuku thought it could be cut with a knife.

Well now~ who wants to see them square off?

Quick Note to Simater48: Thank you for the criticism! I am grateful for the feedback. I would like to address your complaints and also thank you for bring them to my attention. While English is my first language, I am actually quite bad at spelling and grammar and tend to use speech to text on words that I am having trouble with. I always try to minimize the spelling/grammatical errors but sometimes it slips through.

As for the pacing being rushed/off, you are partly right. I did hurry to get the story written while it still had my attention but I also was working with a limited amount of space (I write physically before typing as typing is where I make changes/fix mistakes) I will do my best to lengthen chapters from now on.
