"Please," he hollered towards their captor. "I will do anything."

The knife near her throat left for a moment.

"Anything?"

Gibbs didn't hesitate. "Yes."

"Guess she means more to you than I originally thought." He returned the knife to her throat.

Abby muffled a cry through her gag as he pressed the knife deep enough to shed blood.

Gibbs grunted as he moved towards them. His hands cuffed behind him.

"Me!" He hollered. "Kill me!"

Abby was visibly sobbing now.

He tried to transfer hope into her through his expression. "Abs, look at me… it's going to be okay…"

"Please…" Gibbs pleaded. "Just kill me…"

Their captor nodded towards his men to bring Gibbs closer. He was inches from her now.

Their foreheads touched.

She wept.

Her cry was muffled…then silence.

Gibbs scream was ravenous as he fell to his knees. Her body falling limp beside him.

His shoulders heaved as he wept…meeting a depth of sadness he would never overcome.

He was lifted to his feet by their captor. "Kill me…" He said a final time.

"I just did…"
