Chapter 49: Chaos 101
Disney Castle
"CRONUS HAS ESCAPED FROM TARTAROS!"
A loud angry roar shook the Disney Castle halls, startling everyone who had been close enough to witness the anger of the king of Olympus. Zeus began walking around in circles and grumbling to himself of his father now loose. With Mickey were his friends, Donald, Goofy, and Sora who was present to hear of the situation. "News from Tartarus that my father has escaped, along with other inmates who were put in there with him! We had the finest guards, the security and updated systems to be certain he doesn't try anything!"
"But how did he escape, Zeus. With all that you've mentioned, there's no way for him to get out." King Mickey pondered and was astonished to hear of the break out.
"Yeah, from what I hear he's not someone you very much liked." Sora said. "Could Hades be behind it?"
"That would have been the idea, but my brother isn't that crazy enough to set him free to take me down. With some of the Titans defeated he would have to go recruiting more beasts and followers to his side." Zeus said. "I had to warn Hercules of the danger and send my grandson to Earth where he be safe, not to worry he's been taught well to know so won't stick out differently."
"So how did Cronus escaped?" Donald asked him.
"Hmm, according to the officer who was present, Taurus, it was. He fought an intruder who man who somehow appeared out of nowhere and dressed like… well, like a clown or some srt." Zeus tried to describe the intruder, unwittingly caught Sora's attention upon the description.
"A clown?" It sounded like the one Taren told him about when he and his friends fought someone back in Downland. "Did he possess magic to get in?
Zeus turned to the spikey haired keybearer after he asked a question. "Possible, why do you know him, Sora?"
"Not personally. But I think I do know someone who had an encounter with the possible same guy." Sora advised him and would have to talk to his son about it, but was surprise to find out that this new foe wields a scythe that unlocked the door so easily. They need to find out more about this unknown enemy and what other surprises he could be hiding.
"Keep me informed, at the moment Apollo is searching for the destined heroes the oracle spoke of that could stop him. I can only hope we're not too late. Cronus will stop at nothing to take back his rightful place as king of the gods and mortals." Zeus told them and grew concerned of what his father will do to make his plans a reality.
"Don't you worry, we'll help however we can and stop him!" King Mickey proclaimed and offering his help to the Olympian god.
"I appreciate the help, Mickey. I've already alerted the other gods in other realms to be on alert for any sighting of my father. It be wise to avoid confronting him for the time being." Zeus thanked him before turning his attention to Sora. "And I hear your son is becoming quite the hero himself, Sora. I hope he lives up to be like his old man."
Sora had to admit he was proud of how his son turned out in the end after defeating Tezzeret. "So long as he doesn't go on disappearing for a year again like I did."
"I would like to see him go toe-to-toe with Herry, he's turning out to be like his dad." Zeus gave out a chuckle, but also worries for his grandson's well being if he be a target for Cronus.
"Don't worry, I'm sure we'll do all we can to help stop him." Sora assured him, but another concern of this Darkar foe that had to appear when things were finally settling.
This was going to be one of those days.
Earth
With so much on Earth had changed in the thousands of years since his imprisonment, Cronus went for a new style to fit in with a black suit. What surprised him to find out that humanity had developed the understanding of technology and explored the whole world, the beasts andmagic that were so common had now become so few or chose to hide among mortals. It made him sick to how such powerful godes from the rest of the world could allow themselves to be limited by mankind.
In the middle of the streets, people were going about their merry way when out of no where Cronus appeared, after he was freed from Tartarus with the help of his new ally, Kefka, he went to gather some willing followers for his goal to take back the throne of the gods and his vengeance upon his children for overthrowing him. Appearing on the spot to find the person he was searching for until his eyes caught the sight of an old man with sunglasses, sat by a magazine stand whil having his meal. "Ah, there he is." Decided to make himself known to the person he was seeking. "You're looking well, Oracle."
Cronus caught the old man by surprise, he dropped his sushi upon hearing Cronus' voice. Instead of showing any hint of fear, he was more annoyed and waved his hand at him, possibly for interrupting his moment of peace or from Cronus' so-called compliments to him. "Eh, come on now, you're just being nice. I'm starting to look like a shaved cat." He grunted in annoyance as the ancient God of Time stood before him. Showed no fear towards him at all as he continues. "But time has served you well, hasn't it, Cronus. No doubt you had help from someone?"
Cronus smiles and let a chuckle. "Yes, time has served me, as do you."
"I serve everyone, unfortunately that includes you." Oracle stated and did nothing as Cronus removed his sunglasses, revealing them to be glowing. Kneels down before him to ask his question.
"What do you see?"
The Oracle looked deep towards Cronus and gave his answer. "A power craze megalomaniac bent on vengeance!"
Hearing this made Cronus chuckle and smiled to the Oracle of his description. "Am I really that obvious?" This time he became serious and stood on his feet. "I know my plans are clear to you, Oracle. But what if anything stands in my way?" It was one of the reasons to find the Oracle who can foresee the future, he wanted to know not only of the present, but the future as well by potential new foes that could stand in his way of domination.
The Oracle clapped his hands and brought forth a projection of several people. "Seven heroes. Teenagers. They can stop you."
The Titan found it to be impossible to learn about his possible defeat by mere mortals. But children were something he found unable to believe. Gave back the sunglasses after he was done with them and grasped his hand in anger. "Mortals?"
"Yep."
He could not accept this to be true. "This can't be right!"
"I'm always right!" The Oracle proclaimed to him. "Over 4,000 years without a mistake, no matter."
"And what of the gods?" Surely the gods would be aware of his escape and do nothing.
"The gods will protect them from you."
"Hmm, protected from me, are they?" He would make certain of that to test their limits. "Well, I don't think they'll be expecting you boys." Turns to his henchmen of creatures. "Find them and destroy them!" As they have begun to spread out in order to hunt down these possible heroes who could pose a threat to him. With the help of using new magic to track these would-be heroes down in the area, it should not be a problem for them.
"There is however another you have to be aware of." The Oracle brought up before he leaves. "There are other heroes out there, warriors who wield incredible power to open the doorways between worlds. They have powerful allies and will also fight alongside these heroes. These three are new chosen wielders of the Keyblades."
"Keyblades?" Cronus pondered. "Yes, I heard about them, never thought that they be still around these days. Kefka had indeed warned me about them."
"Kefka?! That psychopath? Why am I not surprised since I saw that coming." The slightest mention of Kefka's name made the Oracle shivered of his reputation. "Be weary of him, he's as dangerous as you are and craves to see destruction everywhere."
"It's better to have them as allies and enemies close to you at times." Cronus decided it was time to leave and make due with his first attempt to cause as much damage to the Earth as he can.
Radiant Garden
In Cid's warehouse, he had finished a few touches on latest weapons for the teens to help them when they received news of this potential new threat in thee Magic Dimension. Okay, so there should be some final touches for the weapons and could have been done before the war had some people could've waited a little longer." The engineer muttered while adjusting a few of the components of a staff.
"You can't blame Sora and Kairi for not waiting another second when they had to go and save Taren from those witches. Besides, at least it gave you extra time to experiment on those gadgets for those kids, Red Fountain's headmaster is offering a reasonable payment for your help and the resources." Squall told him.
"That I wouldn't mind and also a chance to look at those phantoblades they have. Plus that prince who has those sabers, I've found something about them to share similar tech to the Ebon Hawk." Taken some of his time to study the ship while they had been fixing and updated it with some of their available tech. Most of the data had been preserved for a number of thousands of years through space without corrosion. It would take a while to understand the data with the language barrier.
Leon decided to let him carry on with his work than distract any further. "You can ask them next time you see them, but be difficult to make it through their world due to limitations."
Cid was aware of the limited travel in the Magic Dimension for non-magic users. He had been working on some ways to counter that barrier for a few "Yeah, for the time being at least. And maybe get some results of their digimon, Ansem would be interested to know more about them. And also help make new security systems if we ever have any more Grimm that come about."
Resuming his work to finish his project and hoping to get the security systems upgraded to prevent the same attacks, they were lucky to have little casualties, but they knew it was all to distract them to hunt down the next generation of keybalders.
Whatever this new foe could be is uncertain and needed to be prepared.
Auradon
"Ugh, can't believe you convinced me to do this." Taren was in the limo with his arms folded behind his back, unable to know what to think after he got himself drafted to Auradon Prep while Ben was on the other seat and responded with a chuckle. But he also wore a pair of shades when he had to keep his eyes hidden until they use some excuse for wearing them or a way to change them with magic.
"Come on, you know they wanted to see us after all this time. And can't stay at home forever without getting better grades." Ben reminded him.
"Could have given me some time to be prepared, and no doubt a lot of the students would flocking towards us and ask so many questions." It was one of the things Taren wanted to avoid and reluctant to come back to school prep. And another thing he figured could be a problem. "But what about you, what if you-know-who be still there."
Getting the idea who he was referring to and had been thinking of it, talking about Audrey and not sure how she had been since he broke up with her. Ben sighed and had thought of it for a while. "I get the feeling it be a long day for it. We'll go see the fairy godmother and explain the situation."
"And how will I try to explain to people about this?" Taren pointed the shades he was wearing. "You think it's a bit weird for a kid like me to wear a pair of shades, not like something from a comic book."
"Relax, until we got some alternative solution, we'll say there was some sort of magic that performed by accident." Ben suggested and while he did considered letting everyone see how he's changed but would draw a lot of odd looks.
"Yeah and how are we gonna handle the paparazzi that ask so many questions about how we became heroes with keyblades?" Taren brought up.
Ben admitted that it was a valid point. "Might as well get used to it. I made certain to make it a quiet sneak in to give us time, but no magic, our keyblades, summons, our a Digimon, they have to stay in the digivices unless we need to use them for emergencies. Relax, no one would know." He looked through the window to see Auradon Prep, and to their surprise was some sort of band and students, some waving signs 'welcome back' and cheered for them.
Taren slowly turns his head to Ben with a raised eyebrow. "No one would know, huh?"
The prince admitted to not see this coming and sheepishly shrugged. "Okay, maybe I was wrong."
"This is gonna be a long day." Taren rolled his eyes when the security guard stepped out and opened the door for them. Ben exited first and then followed by Taren who kept his eyes hidden with the shades. Some call them out as heroes as it did seem to feel good about it, reluctantly gave a smile and waved to them but also hearing some girls cry out for them. "Okay, maybe this is gonna get a lot of getting use to."
The band stopped when the headmistress Fairy Godmother came in her purple dress. "Prince Ben. Taren. It's wonderful to see you two back safe and sound. I heard from Yen Sid of your coming and thought to make a little something to welcome you two back."
"That sort of explains it, but guess it would have happened sooner or later." Ben said.
"Well then, why don't we go to my office and sort things out before you get settled in." The Fairy Godmother suggested before she turned to Taren upon noticing his shades. "Oh, and not to worry, Taren, I was told of the changes so will work something with that."
Taren appreciated it and nodded. "Thanks, hopefully not needed to wear them for long."
"I would have wanted to make it a surprise for the students for the announcement, but well… you know how that happened." The headmistress chuckled softly and wanted them to get the chance to feel like a normal moment.
"Would have happened sooner or later but I have a few who may have given
"As I'm sure you two are trying to adjust being back home after all this time, although I became concerned about these... Trix?" The Fairy Godmother brought up in her office to the two wielders when she was informed about the trio of villains the keyblade masters had confronted many times.
Ben nodded to confirm it. "Yes, and unfortunately Taren and our friends were confronted by them after they escaped their prison and now have new powers."
"And now seem to work with this Darkar character we never met, but from what we've been told he's bad news as Tezzeret." Taren could still remember how the Trix almost beaten them had it not for the Paladon's arrival. "Plus there was this crazy looking guy who was also causing trouble."
This became a great concern to the fairy upon learning about the new enemy and afraid for the lives of the people of Auradon and the school. Learning upon the group of fairies from the other dimension with magic like theirs who helped the keybearers defeat them. "That does sound troubling and not sure if we have anything about this… Darkar. But I will do what I can to help Master Yen Sid and Merlin to find something. We came to an agreement to allow you both to take on these missions, provided I'm notified and also to allow the use of magic for emergencies only."
The two agreed to follow the rules to be certain and least given the chance to help the others. For Ben he would have to focus on preparing for his coronation that would be coming soon. "That's really fair."
"And also this plan of yours… to allow children of the villains to be enrolled into Auradon Prep?" The headmistress brought to catch the boys' curiosity. "I had been told about your proposal, Ben and after a long thought…" They waited for her answer and believed she would reject it. "I think it be worth a shot."
"Really?" Ben found it surprised to hear this from the Fairy Godmother.
Taren was also certain she would not go along with Ben's idea to introduce new students, including those Mal is familiar with. "We sort of expected you to be a little… reluctant?"
"True, but we must not forget that these are children who are of no fault of the crimes and villainy their parents committed." She held no animosty towards the children whose parents were villains and So I believed it be an opportunity and I always say don't focus on the past or you'll miss the future."
Ben nodded and smiled to have her support. "Thank you, and hopefully e give them a chance to be something better."
"And now also to let your parents know about first." Taren brought up, causing Ben to mentally groan and concern of what their reactions be like, mainly his father's.
The Fairy Godmother reacted and became worried. "Oh… I see you didn't bring this up with them, yet?"
"I'll make certain to talk to them real soon before doing anything and hopefully to make them understand." Ben explained.
Taren could only feel sympathy to him. "Good luck with that."
"Anyway, time for you two get going and your schedules are to show you of your periods for the time being." She gave them the timetable sheets before letting them of. And also I'm aware of your partners so please keep them from being seen."
Obviously talking about the Digimon and already ahead of that. "No worries. We've already got that." Taren assured her.
There was another thing the God Mother wanted to speak about. "Oh, and about this third keyblade Wielder, Mal?" She mentioned the purple haired girl's name. "Uh, well I sort of… know
The two gave a glance at each other and felt a little nervous. "Uhhh, know… what?" Taren was uncertain of what she meant.
Even Ben was puzzled. "Sorry you lost us just now."
"Of her… heritage." She said and easily caught the nervous looks of the two. "But you wouldn't need to be concern about it. I've had been aware for some time and how relieved over that she has proved to have great potential. But I was quiet surprise how she was chosen as the wielder of a keyblade.
"Wait, you knew and your still okay with it with Mal… you know." Ben was careful to be certain and not give away her secret.
"Well of course, otherwise we wouldn't be having this conversation earlier and how the fairies told me about her progress. Just hoping she be seen as a better person to the students when she arrives." She could hope for Mal's place in this school to be worth it.
Both of them also hope Mal be treated as a hero than a daughter of one of the worst villains ever. But will they still accept her even before or after the secret comes out?
It wasn't hard to noticed all the students talking about the two keybearers, some wanted to ask questions, wanting to take a snapshot, and also the girls trying to get their attention. Some had asked about Taren's shades when he explained of a made up story of having his eyes became sensitive and waited for them to recover. Others wanted to see their keyblades and ask where they've been and some adventures.
When it finally came to lunch the redhead went to his locker after finishing the recent study period. Wanting to get his lunch and put his things in the locker to store up. He hears two girls passing and say hello in a flirty way, almost flattered but had focused on his two girlfriends when he knew no doubt some wanted to get the spotlight or some just see him as a hero.
"Taren!"
"Wha-AHH!" He was suddenly grabbed and hoisted from the ground to feel a strong grip around him and recognised that voice. "Herry?! What the-Ah… too tight, bud!"
Having been told how Herry bumped into Ben while he was on a mission. It was great to see some friends again. Herry put him down and let him breath after almost crushing him with his super strength. That's probably due to being the son of Hercules. "Sorry, bro. Just had to see ya after Ben told me you guys were coming and had to see you." He then noticed Taren wearing a pair of shades. "What's with those? Trying to impress the girls?"
"Uh, long story. I'll explain that later." Figured to brush that for now. "Still super strong?"
Herry smiled and chuckled. "You know it, dad had me to take the weights with Phil to help out. Wanna be a big hero someday, too bad I couldn't come to help you guys against those monsters."
"Eh, don't worry about it. The ones we fought were tough and a lot of them." Taren said and closed his locker and leans against it. "Strange reason to say, eels weird like coming back and like nothing happened but to me and Ben it did."
"Why not get a table and catch up, I wanna the cool things that happened." Herry suggested to his buddy.
Taren thought it be a good idea and nodded. "Sure." Decided to get some lunch and get a table outside the school. He still got some students staring at him like he was some celebrity and felt weird.
"Gotta take a lot of getting use to being a hero here now." Herry said after taking a bite from his sandwich. "A lot of talk about you and Ben, even the reporters were at the palace when I had to sneak out the back."
"Really" Taren was surprise to find out about it. "That would explain a lot. Uh, just thinking of familiar faces… has Audrey been, uhh, you know… been after-"
"After getting dumped?" Herry picked up and leaned towards. "I would have thought she went berserk for a moment but surprisingly looked… calm."
Uncertain if that was a good sign for Taren when she was known for her eagerness for popularity since dating Ben. "Why does that make me feel uneasy about it after she got dumped."
Herry thought so as well and continued. "She claimed they went on mutual separation. Possibly to make it from what Ben told me." No doubt to make up a story of it. "But get this, she and Chad are… dating."
"Chad?" Taren pondered which one by that name until one he could think of and only person she would date who had royal status. "Ugh, not Chad Charming. That dude is nothing but a lazy, selfish and always a big flirt to the girls to do something for him. What am I saying those probably meant for each other."
Herry nodded and agreed with him. "Tell me about it."
In all honesty those two had a lot in common, Taren and few others who know about Chad obviously considered him to be the spoiled son because his parents were king and queen of Cinderellasburg. "When did this happen?"
"A week after you left." Herry answered when drinking his soda.
"Ah right… a Week?" Taren exclaimed. "That was fast!"
"Hey guys." Ben came over with his tray to join them. "Figured I find you out here and with Herry."
"Yeah, we were just catching up and about to tell him about what we did." Taren told him. Quickly changing the subject to avoid talking about it in front of Ben.
Herry caught on and almost panicked. "Yeah, that's right but. A lot of stuff you guess went through and sounded awesome. Love to see your keyblades sometime."
"Maybe after school." Ben suggested when they had to do some studying.
Herry had an idea. "Hey, why not come by to the gym and show some moves, Phil's just by and could show him how much you guys improved to be heroes."
Taren simply gave a moment to think and shrugged his shoulders. "Sounds like an idea for me."
"I don't see why not." Ben found no reason not to. "Could get some advice from the trainer of heroes."
"I thought that was you Ben!"
A voice of a young girl cwho called out Ben's name drew his attention, to Taren and Herry they knew exactly who one person was and they were least eager to see. Turns to see a girl with tan skin and long brown hair coming over to them.
Taren tried to resist the urge to sigh and groan. "Audrey."
Ben did not expect to see his... well ex when he broke up with her and gave a friendly smile. "Oh, er... hey, Audrey. Good to see you again."
"I heard you came back and heard about you came back, you must have been so scared by those monsters." She responded. "After all, your the future king and Auradon be devasated.
Hearing from this made Ben ponder if no one apart from a few and his parents realise that he was in fact a new wielder of a keyblade and fought the monsters. Even Taren caught on to the same idea and mentally smirked to picture how everyone would to learn the truth of where he's been. "Uh,yeah, well lets just say I'm doing much better now. And uh, you seem to be doing great."
"Aw, thanks, and good to see your personality hasn't changed." She seemed to take it well and smiled to the prince.
"Niether of you as well." Taren decided to speak and gave a small wave to her. "Long time no see."
"Uh... Taren? Oh, I had no idea you were here." She seemed somewhat less interested but surprised to find him here. "And seriously, those shades do not work for you."
"Doctors' orders until my eyes get a little better, nothign to worry." Taren pointed out. "And don't even think of touching them."
"Gues, come on, be nice." Ben stepped in to make sure the two don't cause an argument, knowing Taren had to keep them on for the time being. "We were just being away after the attack and Taren had some... incident but all good."
"Well unless you need a better pair of shades, you know where to find me." She said and then changed the subject with Ben. "By the way, Ben, I've moved on from our split and seeing someone else."
"Wow... really?" Ben sounded surprised to hear this and almost thought she be mad when he chosed to end their relationship, but possibly good to know she moved on. But on the other hand, she could just be faking it or actually has moved on like he has. Also do the fact that he's already fallen for a simple witch keybearer. "Well, I'm just glad to know after our talk and least hoping to stay friends."
Decided to answer the question for Ben when he knew who she was referring to. "Yeah, Charming would be glad to hear it."
Ben heard him and realised what he was talking about. "Wait, Chad?"
"That's right! Me and Chad are dating and been beside me, and maybe with you around could help us improve things for the school cause I have loads of ideas!" She let out a squeel and jumped, which the boys became nervous.
NOt wanting to turn her down without knowing what these 'ideas' she had in mind but would have to go through them in his spare time. "I... guess it wouldn't hurt, just have stuff I got improtant as well, big stuff to catch up."
"Oh, your coronation! I understand!" Audrey responded and about to leave before saying somethign. "Oh, and as a personal advice, you might wanna loose that strapped to your belt." Pointed her finger towards Ben's Digivice that was by his belt. "As a prince you have an image to think of."
"Actually, it's really a gift so I thought to keep it with me, but I know where to keep it safe on the Coronation." Ben explained but refuses to take her advice of getting rid of it as it was also with his partner. It would be a little difficult to explain that inside was a living creature inside, and also be difficult to accept some things about him have changed.
"Suit yourself, and I better go and see Chaddy. Bye, Ben! And Herry... maybe change the top for something else, that color is not you." Herry ignored her fashion tips and watched her leave. Making Herry to groan with how she thinks it be okay for someone
Once she left, Taren felt relieved and sighed. "Ugh, hard to believe she is actually the Sleeping beauty's daughter. Are we sure it wasn't a mistake?" Trying to wrap his mind of how it was possible and came to think she may have been adopted or just spoiled. Part of him wondered if it be so bad that to use some magic to fool her around, or maybe have Mal to do it.
"I would have thought the same." Herry came to the same conclusion and contineus to eat his fodo
Ben could understand what they meant and sighed. "Okay, I'm sorry that had to happen and didn't think she be seeing someone else."
"Well to be honest, I'm very much happy to know you arent dating anymore." Taren told him. "But wonder how they react to a little surprise when you show them."
"Yeah, my parents thought to keep that a secret for now until later." Ben said. "Anyway, I'm ready for some try outs if your ready."
Herry nodded and thought to take their minds off of things. "Sure, follow me guys."
As soon as the trio had left the cafeteria, none of them were aware of group of shadowy figures hiding from the woods observing them.
Kefka stepped out of the woods and watched them leave. "That must be one of those heroes I've been told, and what a stroke of luck to find. You know what to do, and also with something to add for the heat." Conjures the scythe to his hand and began twirling it, slowly begins to illuminating to begin his perfomance.
"Explosive Infantry!"
Channeling his magic throught his body and scythe, fires a beam of light to open a portal before the group after completing a summoning spell, a large shadow stepped through and each step made the ground burned and synched while the two monsters with him backed away, Kefka smiled and chuckles. "I have a little job for you."
Herry led the two to the gym stadium where he does his training. "I'm telling ya, Phil will be surprised to see you two again and show how much you improved over the past few months."
"Yeah, hard to believe he even took part in training my dad alongside Donald and Goofy." Taren recalled the story of his dad's adventures and walked into the entrance to see all the equipment for training. Carrying a notepad was a short Satyra, this as Philoctetes, also known as "Phil" for short and well known trainer of heroes such as Achilles, Hercules, even the Keybearers in the past. When Herry was born and grew up to be like his father, Phil wasted no time to get the son of the hero and demi-god ready and took a part-time job as a coach.
"Hey, Phil! Came just in time and brought some friends over." Herry called out and waved to him while he was focus on the supplies he brought with him.
"Yeah that's great kid, but unless more of these hero wannabes think they got what it takes to be a real hero?" Phil said without looking and scratched his butt. "Now why not help me move those crates and get started, gotta be on the time limit for your training."
"So what's wrong with giving us a chance, Phil? Something like keyblades?" Ben asked to catch his attention.
"Keyblades?" Phil gave out a laugh as if it were funny. "Funny, kid but you have to be actual key-" When he turned around and found out who he was talking to and looked at them for a few seconds. "Wait a sec… prince Ben?" Then turned to Taren but couldn't recognise him with the shades until now. "Taren? That you two?"
"Who else would it be?" Taren grins to the surprised Satyr.
"Well I'll be a goat's uncle, its you guys! Heard you were on some adventures being heroes from the king!" Phil went towards them. "So, Red? What's with those shades? Its not summer you know?"
Taren wanted to keep them on for now but thought to show them how much he's changed. "Well, lets just say it's a long story since I got my keyblade." Decided to take them off and reveal his eyes to them were no longer blue. He can see the surprised looks on their faces and chuckled nervously with a sheepish smile. "Let's just say, it had something to do with a magic I inherited."
"Wow? That must be some change." Herry commented.
"Yeah, and you guys show look a little… different, I heard you've went into some training with your keyblades." Phil said and studied them while having an idea in his head. "If your on free period, why not come around to show me what you got if you two really are heroes as they say."
"Like the sound of that, but why not now when we have free period?" Taren suggested and wanted to show some his skills.
Ben chuckled and shrugged. "Alright, maybe a little."
Phil liked the sound of that. "That's the spirit, kid! But I wanna see how good you guys are and not just showing off! First get into the stadium but less of the magic at first."
"This is gonna be awesome!" Herry became excited and did some stretching with his arms and legs to be prepared. "Try not to hold back guys."
"Like I would." Taren decided to go next, but before he could summon his keyblade something caught his eye and yelled at his friend. "Herry! Look out!"
"Huh?" Herry looked over his shoulder and saw a fireball hurtling towards them fast.
Ben summoned his Beast Within and ran towards him for help. "Strike Raid!" Throwing his keyblade at the fireball and destroyed it to pieces with a direct hit. "You alright?"
"Yeah, thanks, buddy." Herry was relieved to not get hurt. "What was that?"
"Uh, Phil? Is this part of the training?" Taren asked the Satyr.
"No way, red. The Fairy Godmother specifically said no extreme training for students." Phil stated before he began to grumble with his arms crossed. "And I was gonna use the good stuff but she had to take the fun out of it."
"Then… I don't suppose they're the new staff you hired?" Herry saw two large humanoid monsters approach them, one who was yellow-skinned and war some sort of hood or helmet to cover his whole face and the other who was blue and mean looking.
"Hey, I don't know who you guys are, but I have two words for ya: hit the road!" Phil yelled before another fireball came at them but also towards Phil. "Yikes!" Quickly making a run for it to avoid being burned to ash and jumped for cover.
Taren had no idea where that other one came from until he spotted a large creature that was completely covered in fire, almost like a bipedal lizard. It leaped towards them and lashed out with its claws out front, Taren summoned his keyblade and took the attack while he was in defence, but saw its tail coming in for a strike and forced to back off to avoid catching fire.
"Taren!" Herry and Ben were about to help him but had problems of their own with the two monsters who came with it and started attacking them.
"Ben, you help Taren! I'll deal with these two." Herry told him. Without looking, Herry got grabbed by the arms of the two who held him from the ground.
"Herry!"
"Hold it, prince!" Phil told him. "Herry! Remember the double flip!"
Herry got the idea and did, catching the two giants off guard when he flipped his body to the ground, using his incredible strength to slam them both into each other and tossed to the ground.
"Wow!" Ben had to admit that was impressive.
"Alright! Way da go, kid!" Phil cheered but remembered the other one who was battling with Taren. "Alright, new plan. Taren, take that big lizard down!"
Taren grunted and flipped over the stream of fire when he found out that it was immune to some fire attacks.
Ben had some idea to help out. "Taren! Use a different element to take on fire!"
The Explosive Infantry roared and once again made a tackle, but Taren clashed against its skin with his keyblade and heard Ben's idea. But needed to get his opponent weakened to try out some elemental attacks by performing the Stun Edge, jumps over the coming fireball and spins slowly in the air, struck the surprised creature in the face and stunned it.
With the Explosive Infantry slightly stunned and staggered from the attack, but was able to recover from the surprise attack and returned fire with a stream of fire coming out of its mouth.
"Ice Barrage!" Ben took the moment to strike by summoning giant ice crystals, bursting from the ground and knocked the Explosive Infantry from the ground it stood.
Taren ran towards Herry. "Herry, a little boost!"
"You got it!" Herry knelt down with his hands held together and waited for the moment, Taren planted his foot onto the palms and was shot into the air by Herry. He as high enough and struck down his keyblade to the creature before it could fought back when Ben launched a barrage of slashes and Wind Raid to finish of the foe. Defeated it fell to the ground and lies there after taking a beaten from their attacks.
Phil had to admit the kid had some skills and even Ben knowing how to use magic surprised him that the prince could learn how to fight like a keyblader. "Holy Hera, that was not bad. Uh, well… for rookies! You still got a lot to learn."
Ben smiled and chuckled. "Sounded impressed to me."
"Don't push it, kid."
Herry couldn't agree more with him. "Yeah, just doesn't want to admit it."
Taren was safely on the ground and saw the creature he fought was engulfed in a red glow and vanished, something about that reminded him of the dragon he fought long ago had a similar aura to this one. But he didn't had time to think when they still had the unconscious monsters that were with it. "So who are they and what was that about?"
"They must have been sent by someone, they were obviously not clever enough to catch us on their own." Ben suggested.
"But who could have gone after-Whoah!" Herry was suddenly carried away by a flying griffin and flew away.
"Herry!" Ben yelled and was about to go after the griffin when it let go of their friend, only to land on another to ride it.
"Hi! Ben and Taren, right? The new Keybladers?" A man flew towards them with a pair of goggles and a gold sceptre in his hand. Barely gave them the chance to respond to his question and continued. "Names, Apollo. nice work back there and no worries, Herry's in good hands. Just go to the headmistress who will fill you in on what's going on. Sorry I can't stick around but gotta get him and others to a safe location. Chou!" The god named Apollo spoke too fast and flew to the Griffins and towards a portal that opened before them.
Ben and Taren were baffled of what just happened and all that was about. "What just happened?" Taren pondered.
"Think we ought to ask he Fairy Godmother and take care of those-" Ben was cut off when the two monsters they fought vanished. "Uh, never mind."
"You two go and I'll let Herc know what's happened. He's not gonna like this." Phil went on his own way as the two went to find the Fairy Godmother of the news.
The two minions woke up but bruised from their fight and were taken from their previous spot with the help of Cronus and Kefka who been waiting outside the school grounds to avoid being seen by anyone.
"Well, it looks like they were expecting you." Cronus told the two and was surprised to find Apollo. "And seems he had help from those keyblade bearers you informed me about."
"Okay, so I might have not expected that to happen." Kefka admitted when he saw the creature he summoned be defeated. "But how did they get to Auradon in the first place?"
"That is a good question." Cronus wanted to find out as well. "I had the same encounter of those griffins back on Earth of the first two but also failed."
"Two more? That means they must know something of these heroes." Kefka did not like that at all if there are more heroes than he was told about. "And just when I thought things were getting more fun, they come along and spoil it."
"Hmm, I wonder where they're going?" Cronus was anxious to find out but could not risk staying in one location too long and had someplace to go for his first attempt for world domination. "Send us back to Earth, we can't stay here too long when there's important things to do."
Kefka went all giddy and brings out his scythe, unable to contain the excitment of potential chaos to unleash. "Oooh, I just hardly wait!"
"And your saying Herry was taking by… griffins you say?" The Godmother had heard about the recent attack from the gym and astonished to find out about this when she had not sensed any threat. Clearly who ever it was that planned this was good at keeping their tracks hidden from her when there was suppose to be a protective barrier for the students. She had to inform the teachers to keep the students out of the gym for now until the damages that were made be restored, unable to know how to give the news to Herry's parents when she found out he was taken away after he was attacked.
"Yeah, and obviously they were going after him until we stepped in." Ben answered her question.
"But one of them was not like the two, it was definitely from the same realm as the other creatures we fought before. Back when Chaos showed up in Magix?" Taren brought up when they were attacked by dozens of those creatures and learned they came from the Kaiju Realm according to Flora. He learned about the history between the two worlds that were once at war with each other until a peace treaty was signed to prevent both sides from crossing oveer the other unless it was for diplomatic reasons or emergancies, but after Chaos brought several of them into Magix it made him wonder how long this peace between them could last.
"That one must have been summoned to this world" Said the prince. "But who could've done it?"
The thought of it did not escaped them and certainly had to be a magic user to cast a summoning spell within the area, but even if they could begin the search that culprit may have been gone by now. "Well… I might have found out some terrible news from Zeus himself on the phone and he was very mad." The headmistress said and sounded nervous.
"How bad are we talking about?" Taren asked her until she pulled up a phone that was burned out and sizzling with smoke in her hand. Turns his gaze from the smoking debris to the fairy."Uhhh… never mind."
She nodded to agree with him and moved it away. "I never heard the god so mad in my live. He was ranting on about… Cronus."
"Cronus?" Both the boys looked confused as to what she was talking about until Ben spoke. "Who's Cronus?"
"He was the king of the Titans until he had his butt kicked by none other than Zeus." Phil walked in and answered the prince's question. "That guy was a power hungry and meglomaniac, well known across new Olpympus for being a big jerk and a bad leader. After a battle with the gods, he got locked up along with the other Titans down in Tartarus, but if he really did escape then we're in big trouble."
"As if things couldn't get any worse for us." Taren muttered. "First Darkar, the Trix and an evil god on the loose."
"What about Herry? Is he alright?" Ben asked the headmistress to know of Herry's current whereabouts. "Where was he taken?"
"That's something I am unable to know but fortunately Zeus delivered this locket which would take you to where he is." She holds out a gold locket with the thunder emblem on the lid. "This should take you to where you would be and find the answers. Normally I shouldn't let you both leave but as it seems important now you have duties with your keyblades."
Taren nodded to her. "We'll be careful and let you know whats happening."
"I'll let your parents know, along with King Mickey and Yen Sid to She opens it and transported them to their destination.
"I hope they know what they're doing." Phil said, while wishing them best of luck.
"So you think they'll give your friends a chance to go to this school?" Palmon asks Mal while helping her clear up the books for her studies.
"As long as avoiding been caught doing trouble and get some studies done. Cloud Tower has some strict punishments for witches to make them mean. Need to get this potion to make a person's skin to scales or feathers by Professor BIttersmoke, this sounds like a difficult task."
"As long as I'm not made into some experiment for them. That other teacher almost thought I was turned from a flower." Palmon recalled of her encounter with one of the teachers such as Ediltrude who mistook her for a plant that was part of Mal's experiments and almost caused her the chuckle to find it amusing until she explained of Palmon's true nature.
"Least you weren't turned into a flower." Mal giggles before she hears a door knock on the door. She did not expect her aunts to be home soon from their work and went over to check. "Maybe some delivery." Another knock was heard. "I heard you the last time, and if its another offer for something we don't want, beat it."
"Mal?"
A young girl's voice caught Mal's attention, causing her to pause for a moment, as it was familiar to her. Came to the door and opened it to find out who it was. IN a flash she was suddenly pounced and felt a strong hug of a pair of arms around her. "MAL! I CAN'T BELIEVE IT'S YOU AFTER SO LONG!"
Mal was caught off guard and fell to the floor, but luckily she landed on her butt and hears the wailing and cries of a girl. Unable to believe who it was. "E…Evie?" The one who was hugging her was a young girl was dressed in all blue, even her dark blue hair that casts down over her shoulders.
Evie cried out until she pulled away with tears running down her face. "I can't believe its you! I was so worried those monsters got to you, but I'm so glad your back home!" She cried once more and hugged her once more.
Mal could not say anything and hugged her back, relieved to see her best friend was still okay after finding out from the fairies of what happened during her time away in the Magic Dimension. "Hey, no need to cry a fountain, Eve, I said I be back, sorry it took a little long and wondered where you were."
"Oh, I was a little nervous and thought to make a fool of my self… until now." Evie explained and pulled away to wipe the tears. "But what happened? Did you see anything special, what magic did you learn? Can you show me? Oh! And did you brought me anything?"
Mal was caught off guard by the cluster of questions thrown at her by Evie, she could not help but find it amusing. "Okay, okay, I think you need to slow down. First I went to a place called the Magic Dimension. Seen a few like a big city. Learned some new spells from a school for witches. That be tricky for non magic users. And Also something awesome I got."
"Oh really? What is it?" Evie stood up and could not hold back the excitement.
"As long as you don't get too excited, alright?" Mal asked her and reached out her hand and called forth the Shadow of Redemption in her grip.
Evie's eyes were wide as saucers and her jaw-dropped hanging when she stared upon the keyblade that was known only as stories to others who had never seen them. She heard stories from some former villains and even her mother during her time at the Isle of how there were those who foiled their plans years ago "Oh… my… a real… keyblade?" She tries to not breath so fast and wanted to touch it to be real.
Mal could only smirk and held it in her hand. "Yep. You're looking at an official keyblade wielder. Boy, if my mother were alive she'd be having a fit."
"Oh, no doubt about that. I can't believe it! You have one?! I mean this is awesome!" Evie exclaimed and stared at it with awe. "Can I hold it? Pleeeaaseee! Please, please, please, please?"
Mal giggled and shook her head of her friend's childish please. "You are not gonna stop are you?"
"Nope!"
"Wish I could, but they only allow the wielder who is chosen to hold them. You'd only have it brief before comes back to me." Mal explained the details of the keyblades.
"Darn. But least it better than stolen, right? Jay would want it for himself." Evie said. "Oh, did you meet anyone interesting and are there others?"
"Hey, Mal? Your cellphone rang and some urgent call." Mal hears Palmon call and became worried if Evie saw her, one look at the digimon and could scream in fear. But she was too late when the small plant digimon came holding the phone and froze.
Evie saw her and was loss of words as she stared at Palmon. "What… what is… that?
"Uh… oh… Palmon…" Mal nervously spoke and did not look at her best friend. "Uh this is… Evie… and Evie this…. Uh, now don't panic she's-"
"AHHHH! SO ADORABLE!" Evie ran pasted the startled Mal who only saw a faint blur of where Evie once stood and grabbed the surprised Palmon into her arms, hugging her like a plush toy, much to the dismay of Palmon. "Oooh, its so cute and adorable!"
"Mal! Help! What's she doing? She's hugging me… to tight!" Palmon had no idea how to handle this situation.
Hearing Palmon spoke for the first time made Evie squealed more and held her up with a wider smile. "Wow! She can talk? That's amazing, where did you find such a cutest thing ever?"
Mal did admit she didn't expect this to happen and was almost shocked, but somewhat relieved… or pity for her partner to be the target of Evie's interest of her. "Umm.. well to be honest she was an egg when I got her for what me and others did to save their world and stop an evil villain. And her name is Palmon, she's a Digimon. They're somewhat from another world."
"Yeah, and its short for Digital Monsters. And not all of us are cute." Palmon proclaimed, acting tough while fixing up her flower pebbles when they got messed up.
"You're saying there are more of you?" Evie asked and pictured more cute monsters.
Both partners paled and froze, sharing the same thought that came to their heads. 'What have I done?'
Mal suddenly remembered something of what Palmon just said to her before being interrupted. "Wait, Palmon did you say there was a call?"
Palmon turned to her partner to answer. "Hmm hmm, a call from Master Yen Sid and sounded urgent."
She mentally groaned and thought to at least get some break to catch up with her friends after being away so long but if it was something dangerous she could least take it for now. Reluctantly sighed and gave in. "Alright, I'll send a message to him to say I'm coming. Maybe get a pick up. Listen Evie, I know its been so long and wanted to catch up but will spend time and something to share with you for something big when I get back."
"Really? Oh." Evie tried to not sound disappointed, but she felt amazed how much Mal had changed and taking this role seriously as she hardly recognised her at all a year ago. "Well, okay, but maybe next time to make it up… could you take me along on your adventures?"
"Well… okay." Mal reluctantly answered and stopped the blue haired girl before she would jump in joy. "As long as its someplace less dangerous and just to have fun. Sorry, its just that I have these experiences and some are not some walk in the park."
"Got it! Oh, bring some souvenirs! And if you find a prince gimme a heads up!" She ran up to hug Mal. "Don't get hurt! And you too Palmon! Nice seeing you again!"
Mal watched her leave and would give a heads up to Sky if she ever meets him. "That's one of your friends?" Palmon asks her. "She seems… really happy. And what does she mean find a prince? IS she royalty?"
"Hmm, not quite since her mom was kicked out after her revival and… well she just loves to see herself as the fairest of them all." Mal explains to her digimon about her friend. "But deep down she really does care for others. Hard to believe she's the daughter of a villain like the Evil Queen."
"Should we get going?" Palmon asks her.
"Might as well, and find out what the emergency is about." Pulls her digivice to zap Palmon into it before she would get ready to head to the destination. Out of nowhere, a griffin swooped in and grabbed her with its talons and flew back up to the air. "HEY! What the... let go!" She struggled to break free and about to transform or use her magic to free herself.
"Sorry about that, miss, but hsince we didn't had your phone call had to maek alternatives." She looked down to see a man with a pair of goggles. "Names Hermes, you must be one of the keyblade Wielders Yen Sid spoke of. Don't worry, Matilda is nice and is well fed. Aren't you sweetie~" Patting the griffin's feathers when almost got bitten by the beak. "Matilda, what did we talk about? Don't be such a grouch."
"Care to let me get a better seat?" Mal asked as she did not liked to be held like this.
Hermes obliged to her request. "Oh, sure thing, sorry. Matilda."
Mal yelled out when she was tossed above by the griffin and landed on its back. She was relieved for a moment but wanted answers of what was going on. "Okay, what's this about and why did you come for me?"
"I'll explain on the way, but better hold on just about to make a trip to Earth with your other two friends to come."
She heard him talking about Ben and Taren, if they were recruited for something big then it must be serious. Decided to go along with it and maybe find out what could be the problem and how they're involved. Guess she would have to deal with this mission.
Elsewhere in the middle of the night, Cronus and his minions stumbled upon a large mountain with heavy chains carried dragged behind them. Kefka appeared and stood beside Cronus.
Cronus had tracked down the place he had been looking for and confirmed to be it. "You better stand back." Giving his advice to the others to remain clear before summoning his golden scythe and swung it straight into the mountain. Large crackes burst out of the surface and crumbled, startling the monsters but Cronus and Kefka as it revealed to be some sort of caged door. And inside was something very big and snarled at them.
"Oooh, he's really the cranky one." Kefka commented.
"Hm, after being trapped in Mount Etna it would be." Cronus said and focused his attention to the imprisoned monster. "Now... how woud you like to make a deal?" Gaining the beast's attention to what he has to offer.
Taren and Ben found themselves transported to a place unfamiliar to either of them when the Fairy Godmother send them by the use of the magical locket. Looking around they noticed the architecture appeared somewhat to Ancient Greek the stoned pillars, but also found statues of people and peacocks around. "Is this the place we were told to come?" Taren asked while trying to figure out where they were.
"Depending on where we are and find Zeus to know what is going on." Ben told him.
"I'm afraid that Zeus is away on important notice, but has left Queen Hera in charge to meet with you." They turned around to find an old man with long greying hair and beared andonly wore a cape. What they realised that instead of having legs of an ordinary person, it was a body of a horse which described him as a centaur. "Aplogies for the short notice, I am Chiron, master of all beasts and will take you three to see Hera."
"Three?" Both the boys asked at the same time until they see Mal step forward.
"Guess I wasn't the first to recieve a call. How did you guys showed up?" She asked them.
"We had a locket to transport us here." Taren said.
She groaned and brought her hands to her hips. "Gee, and all I had was a ride on a griffin."
Before they could ask what she meant, Chiron cleared his throat for their attention. "If you three will follow me." The centaur leads them through the hallways until they entered a room with an elderly woman in a grey dress, alongside a young woman with auburn hair brushed back in a wave and arm wrestling with a muscular man with auburn hair and a growing trimmed beard, wearing a bronze g.
"Your getting soft, Herc, probably old age getting to ya?" The woman taunted him to lose focus.
"Ha, me? I've been in peak physical condition, Artemis. Ask Phil." Hercules showed no sign of slowing.
"Hercules? What's he doing here?" Taren recognised the guy as one of the great heroes and always been a fan of his adventures alongside his father.
"Probably to see Herry." Ben responded.
"My lady Hera, the Wielders of the Keyblades have arrived."
The woman named Hera turned to see them and gave a warm caring smile. "Good, thank you Chiron. Hercules, Artemis, we have guests."
Hercules was almost winning until he caught sight of the three and recognised the two. "Ben? Taren?" The moment he got distracted was enough for Artemis to win the arm wrestle. "Hey! I got distracted.
She gave a warm caring smile and approached the three. "It is with great pleasure to meet the new generation of keybearers."
"Wait a minute, Hera? As in the queen of Olympian gods?" Ben asked and found her appearance different to the one he normally sees. "But you look a little-"
"Different?" Hera cut in and chuckled. "Why yes, given the situation and on Earth some of us gods had to appear mortal from drawing attention. Zeus isn't the only one who knows a few tricks of changing forms in his day. And also to answer your other question about Herry..." She introduces them to the others who were new to them. Walking alongside Herry were two other teenages, one was a girl with short red hair, wearing a blue shirt, green khaki shorts and red sneakers. The other was a male with short brown hair, light tan skin, wearing a yellow top with purple horizontal stripes and collar, jeans and grey shoes.
"Ben! Taren! You guys are alright!" Herry waved to them and surprised to see them.
"You know them?" The red head girl spoke when he appears to know them very well.
"Oh, right. These are my buds, Taren and Ben. Guys, these are Jay and Atlanta, they were attacked by those monsters like me." Herry introduced them to each other.
Jay decided to be the first to greet them by offering his hand to the the keybearers. "Nice to meet you, so that means you guys are in this sort of thing like us?"
"Uh, not exactly but kinda. We're sort of... different." Ben wasn't sure how to explain this sort of thing with them being from other worlds and no idea how much Herry has told them. "My name is Ben, this is Taren." GEstures to Taren who shook his hand before turning to the purple haired teen. "And also this is Mal."
"Please to meet ya." Mal shook Atlanta's hand and nodded.
"Hi." The girl greeted her in a friendly tone.
Hercules was surprised to see them but relieved his friends were okay after the fight with the monsters. "Good to see ya, heard a lot of stuff you guys did. Even Herry told me what he did, winning his first fight with monsters?" He reached out to pull his son ito his side with his arm around the neck and playfully gave a nuggy. "Just like your old man, kiddo."
"Dad, come on." Herry struggles to break free from his father's teasing. "They werent that tough."
Jay wanted to know what was going on and why they were brought to a school with olympian gods he presumed to be a myth. "But why are all the gods of Olympus here in a school?"
"It's safer for us here." Hera answered while tending to one of the peacocks. "it also keeps us clsoe to you, so we can do what we can to protect you from Cronus."
"Cronus?" Jay asked.
That was the name known to Taren and Ben who heard it from Phil. "Hey, Phil mentioned that name, some sort f tyrant and major bad news." Taren said.
"Indeed." Hera waved her hand and created an image of Cronus in his original attire. "For 4,000 years, Cronus has been imprisoned in the underworld, but then one day he was freed from his cell with the aide of an intruder." The image changed to show them another of the guards fought against Kefka and easily beaten.
Atlanta cringed when she saw the guy's appearance until he took them down. "Ouch."
Taren immediatiatly recognised him from before and could not believe it. "No way! That's him!"
"Wait, as in the guy you told us about from before?" Mal asked him.
"You know him?" Jay looked at him. "Who is he?"
Taren shook his head with no answer. "No idea, but me and my friends fought him before and was powerful."
"His name is Kefka Palazzo." Hera answered to reveal his name. "And from what we have learned, the two have formed an alliance to help each other."
Jay knew enough about Tartarus being the equivalent to a prison for the monsters and the wicked. "He must be powerful to come to a place like that to find someone like Cronus."
"You got that right. He even helped break a few inmates to escape along the way." Hercules agreed with him and sounded mad for what they tried to do to his son.
The image then revealed how he opened the cell using a scythe and unlocked it so easily and surprised those who witnessed it.
"What the... he opened it like it was a keyblade." Ben looked surprised of how he did it.
"Or some powerful magic like Jay said to come to Tartarus." Mal stated and curious about him, but still felt a little cringed of seeing his fashion. "But I can understand how you described him as a little crazy."
"Crazy, yeah, dangerous, very much." Taren stated. "He's not someone to be underestimated."
"Taren is correct. But also Cronus is another foe to be dealt with." Hera said.
There was one question that was on Atlanta's mind as was the others, decided to ask them to find otu. "So... what does this have to do with us?"
"You have to stop him." Artemis simply told her.
"Stop him from what?" Jay was puzzled to how they can do that.
"From destroying the world." Hera explained. "Cronus used to rule the Earth, he was king of gods and mortals."
"And let me guess, he wants to be king again and cause as much havoc and destruction as he pleases?" Mal had a feeling it was one of those when knowing how a villain's mind would work as it was a common goal for any villain.
Hera nodded to confirm it. "Yes, and let's just say he's not a benevolant ruler."
For Jay, this seems a little too much for someone like them to handle and tries to digest the new knowledge. "You expect us to save the world?"
"You got it." Hercules pointed out, even though it would put his son in risk of danger but has confidence in him.
"It is your destiny, the oracle has seen this." Hera tries to make them understand of what is at stake. "You represents the new generation of heroes. Descendants of the great Jason. Artemis. And Hercules."
"Hold up, your saying this guy is Hercules... and his dad?" Mal asked when she can see some similarities between them but a little different.
Hercules nodded to her. "Yep, he's got my strengths and some of his mom's." He chuckled and patted his son's back. "But I'm confident he'll make a terrific hero like me."
Atlanta then turned to the other three who were not mentioned of any descendants. "So what about you three?"
The three of them looked at each other and decided to tell them. Ben was the first to speak out. "Well, its gonna be a long story to explain but this should be a starter."
Taren nodded and reached out his hand to summon the Royal Sparks to his hand, catching the two by surprise of seeing a keyblade. "We're somewhat a different group of hereos."
"Anyone got any snacks, this may take awhile." Mal asked and took a seat to explain to them. The keyblade Wielders suddenly felt a somewhat Déjà vu of how this reminded them of when they started as chosen wielders of the keyblades.
At night, a freighter sailed through the waters and heading towards the city. Under the control of Cronus who had took the ship for his henchmen to travel without suspicion. He takes a glance of the city and smiles with a whiff of the air. "What a beautiful night. There's so much fear and confusion in the air. It smells like chaos."
"Oooh, music to my ears." Kefka was on top of a crate, humming to himself and lied on his back with his feet dangling. "This world is buzzing with it, and surprised to find there has been so little of magic these days." He hears the sound of a growl coming from the cargo, made by the creature they brought back. A stream of fire burst through the cage, startling most of the crew.
"Seems out guest is getting a little bored." Kefka said with a plain tone in his voice.
Cronus simply chuckled and smiled. "Oh, it won't be long now. This is the sort of world I could get use to... for the time being." It be almost a pity to see the achievement of human civilization go up in smoke when he returns to power. But that hardly matters to him if it means to see the dismay and suffering of the mortals.
Everything was running smoothly for him, at leas so far until they find those heroes.
So had to stop there as it was the first episode of Class of the Titans I've used and made some changes such as fitting Hercules from Disney instead of COT's to avoid confusion, but had an idea for some of the Olympian gods as they could change their appearances to anything. Introduced another kaijudo/duel master creature that was summoned by Kefka. Now the heroes know who he is and both villains working together can only spell trouble for both. Been focusing on finishing up the final arc of GrimmFall: Acceleracers while also doing the course I've taken but another which will be volunteerign to do my painting to keep my skills up. Decided to introduce Audrey and show a bit of how she and Taren interact, and show they hardly have anything in common but will be more for when the VKs arrive with one of them already made an appearance.
There wil be other adventures with the Chosen Heroes alongside the keyblades (Fairy's Blade as named by Bloom) to join them on adventures to stop the villains in other worlds. I hope you all enjoyed it, any spelling/grammar mistakes let me know and criticism is always welcomed. No firewalls.
