Hello all Storm here with a new chapter! Here we'll be seeing the UA Sports Festival kickoff, along with the other students confronting Class 1-A, only with a very different outcome. So, without further ado.
I own nothing
When Naruto woke up, he found himself once again being held by Yu, only to blush when he started feeling just how tightly she was holding him and how close their bodies were pressed against each other.
'Damnit Yu-neechan!' Thought Naruto, knowing she must be trying to up her teasing after seeing he was getting used to waking up to her in bed with him.
Only for his embarrassment to vanish, being replaced by concern when he looked at Yu and began hearing her whimper in her sleep before she began muttering quietly.
"No…please stop…don't go…wake up…please…" Yu muttered before she unconsciously held onto Naruto more tightly, making the whiskered blonde frown in concern at realizing she was having a nightmare.
'A nightmare about the USJ and what happened…and about me not waking up.' Naruto thought, realizing what Yu's nightmare was about from her muttering, which only made him wince and feel guilty for putting her through that.
'Some brother I turned out to be if all I do is end up hurting Yu-neechan.' Thought Naruto, hating himself for hurting his sister through something so emotionally strenuous and traumatic.
Given how she not only saved him, but then went out of her way to get to know him and then adopt him as her little brother, yet he only seemed to hurt her. With the Uzumaki remembering how his friends, and even the Kyūbi, told him that he shouldn't just risk his life. That there were people who cared who cared about him and wouldn't want to see him just throw his life away.
Now he's seeing how much his life was valued by Yu, seeing what she's feeling from how he nearly died and what could have happened if he didn't wake up.
"Yu-neechan, Yu-neechan, come on we have to get up." Naruto said while shaking his adoptive sister gently to wake her up, with Yu's eyes fluttering open.
"Huh, wha? Naruto…NARUTO!" Said Yu as she fully woke up before glomping her adoptive brother, hugging him tightly and refusing to let go, something that would have normally embarrassed Naruto but let her continue and returned the hug.
"Yeah, I'm still here Yu-neechan and…I'm really sorry for worrying you like I did. I didn't mean to hurt you like that." Naruto said, with Yu pulling back after a moments and looked at him.
"You could never hurt me; I doubt you'd even be able to hurt anyone you care about otouto. But you really did worry me with what you did, nearly killing yourself against Nomu, then what you were like afterwards. I really thought I was going to lose you." Yu replied before pulling him back into a hug, which Naruto returned.
"I know and I'm sorry for doing that. I promise that I'll try not to do that ever again, so you don't have to worry." Said Naruto, only for the Pro-Hero to sigh and shake her head.
"Don't try to make promises you can't keep Naruto. Heroes risk their lives every day against villains, so I know that it's pointless and naïve to ask that. Plus, I know you'll still do everything you can to protect those you care about and nothing anyone does could stop you. Just…promise you won't needlessly throwaway your life and remember that there are people who care about you as well. So, don't promise to not risk your life, promise that you'll come back." Said Yu, with Naruto looking at her in surprise before he nodded.
"I promise." Naruto replied, making Yu smile and nod before she narrowed her eyes at him.
"Good. Because if you didn't, I would have tied you down until I made sure you lose any thoughts or ideas of risking your life in such a suicidal way. And you'd see just how persuasive I can really be." Yu said while gaining a sly smile, the whiskered blonde freezing for a moment before blushing bright red at her words and realizing that Yu was now straddling him.
"Y-Y-Y-Yu-neechan! Pl-pl-pl-ple-ple-please g-ge-ge-get o-o-o-off!" Said Naruto, with Yu's smile only growing but got off of Naruto.
"Fine, but only because I don't want my precious otouto to be late. Though I was serious, needlessly risk your life again and you'll be tied to that bed until I say so." Said Yu before turning to leave the room with an extra sway in her hips, mentally giggling at knowing Naruto was looking.
'She's going to kill me before any Villain could!' Naruto thought, doubting he'll survive much longer with her teasing to even get a chance to risk his life.
Taking a few moments to calm down and relax, Naruto got up to get ready and dressed to head back to UA.
*Later*
After getting changed and dressed, the adoptive siblings headed for UA with Naruto going right to Class 1-A, seeing that everyone else had already arrived. The other students immediately turning towards Naruto at seeing him arrive, given the state he was in the last time they saw him, aside from those in his training group.
"Yo Naruto! Glad to see you're back, though how're you feeling after fighting Nomu?" Eijiro asked, wondering if he's alright from fighting a Villain that could go against All Might.
"I'm fine, for the most part anyway. But fighting Nomu took a lot out of me, I ended up overloading my Quirk, causing it to create more energy than my body could handle. So it'll be a while before I can use its full power again. But I'm confident I'll be able to regain some of my basic abilities in time for the Sports Festival." Replied Naruto while taking his seat, making most of the students, aside from those in the know, to wince at hearing he overloaded his "Quirk" before they began offering their condolences.
"I know that feeling of using too much power. But at least you can still compete in the Sports Festival. Any plans for anything to use in place of those attacks and whatever you did against Nomu?" Questioned Denki, knowing the feeling of overloading ones Quirk, though he's only left dumb for a while if he makes too much electricity.
"Yeah, I'm gonna be training in what I can still do, along with requesting some support items to use to make up for my inability to use my Quirks full power. I also plan to use the Sports Festival as a safer chance to start fighting smarter." Naruto said, which only got confused looks from the rest of the class.
"Fighting smarter? Forgive me, but from what we've seen so far, you already seem to possess good analytical and cunning qualities, as well as seeming to make plans on the fly." Said one of the students, who Naruto recognized as Fumikage Tokoyami.
Fumikage is a short young man with the head of a black bird, possibly supposed to resemble that of a crow or a raven. He has a tan, yellowish beak which is slightly hooked down at the end, thin, red eyes with a small black pupil, one on each side of his head, and a red choker, which he rarely removes. Despite the appearance of his head, however, his body looks like one of a normal human, with rather fair skin. With him wearing the UA boys uniform.
'Fumikage Tokoyami, his Quirks called Dark Shadow, definitely one with a lot of potential and power.' Thought Naruto knowing that Fumikage could become a very powerful Hero with his Quirk and the possibilities of what it could do.
"Yeah, like what you did during the Battle Trials against me and Izumi. I think you can fight smarter than most of us already." Added Eijiro, seeing from experience how dangerous Naruto can be.
"Maybe, but my first instinct is usually to just charge into a battle without much of a plan, something I only make after, usually during the middle or latter half of a fight. Something I can't do anymore since it makes me reckless and more likely to end up like before against Nomu. As for the Battle Trials, I could have taken you both out with my chains and stealth, without having to reveal much of my abilities. Instead, I purposefully revealed myself and fought Izumi while letting you go face Ochako." Naruto said, making the students realize he was right and did bring up some good points.
"Well, it's still good you want to improve yourself and overcome your flaws. Something we should all do, even if we think we're as good as we can be." Stated another student, Mashirao Ojiro, who also relied on martial arts and always tried improving himself.
Mashirao is a young man of muscular build and has short blond hair, swept to the front of his head. He has thin eyes with no lower eyelashes. Unlike the other students in class, he wears pale gray sneakers with his school uniform instead of the brown dress shoes worn by everyone else, and the bottom button of his blazer he leaves casually undone. Due to his Quirk, he also has a tail, which is completely hairless save for the tip.
With the other students nodding at his words, having learned from the USJ Incident that they should always keep training to improve themselves and grow stronger. Never knowing when they needed to be ready to fight Villains, even as students.
'Uzumaki…' Thought Katsuki while looking at Naruto silently with narrowed eyes before looking down at his hands.
Ever since he awakened his Quirk and the praise he got for it, Katsuki believed he was unstoppable, that any Villain he faced would simply be blown away by his explosions. Only for that belief to be shattered when he was nearly killed by that Sludge Villain, needing to be saved by Izumi and All Might. But he still believed he couldn't be beaten and would be the best at UA, a thought that was reinforced when he got first in the Entrance Exam.
But once again that was ruined by Naruto, who seemed to do everything perfectly and easily, as if he had an answer for any problem. Then there's his Quirk that seemed to let him do anything he could think of, which only made Katsuki angry. Now seeing him as an invincible rival to overcome, to show that he was the best and would be the one to surpass All Might.
Then the USJ changed that as well, with Katsuki actually feeling self-loathing and guilt when he'd seen what Nomu had done to Naruto. All because he and Eijiro had rushed in and attacked Kurogiri, leading to them all getting scattered around. Meaning he wouldn't have gone to fight Nomu and get brutalized by him.
While Katsuki still saw Naruto as a rival to surpass, he now realized that for all his power and versatility, he wasn't invincible like he believed. At the end of the day, despite his power and versatility, he was still human.
'I need to be stronger, make bigger explosions, better explosions! To blow away any Villains that think they can screw with us!' Thought Katsuki refusing to let something like the USJ again, and the next time he faces a Villain, he'll blow them away.
"Hey, Tsu. Who do ya think's gonna teach class today?" Mina asked while looking at the greenette, wondering who'll be teaching class with Aizawa in the hospital.
"No idea, Aizawa-sensei's still in the hospital recovering from his injuries. Maybe Mt. Lady will be taking over until he gets back." Said Tsuyu guessing Mt. Lady would be their teacher for the time being, with the other students also wondering who'll be teaching them with Aizawa gone.
Before they heard the door opening, only to be shocked to see Aizawa entering the classroom still wrapped in bandages.
"Morning class." Aizawa said casually, with the students looking at him in disbelief.
"Aizawa-sensei, what're you doing here?!" Several students shouted, wondering why he wasn't recovering in the hospital.
"I've had worse. And I haven't let injuries stop me from performing my duties before, I'm not going to start letting them now." Said Aizawa, much to the amazement of the students, seeing just how cool and tough their teacher is.
Though unknown to the students, Aizawa's mind was currently elsewhere at the moment, with it being his visit to Tartarus and meeting Kurogiri.
*Flashback*
"Isn't this a surprise, I didn't expect to see you here Eraser Head, let alone to visit me." Kurogiri said, strapped to a wheelchair and wearing a straitjacket, having been escorted to a viewing room where he found Aizawa waiting for him.
"You can stop the act, Present Mic, Midnight, and Naomasa already told me who you are, Oboro." Said Aizawa, wanting to see if it'd get any reaction from the Villain, only for him to look at him blankly.
"Yes, Present Mic and Midnight came here before calling me that name, but I'm afraid you have me confused with someone else. Now if that's what you were hoping to talk about, then at least tell me something useful, where is Tomura Shigaraki and what is his condition?" Said Kurogiri, wanting to know if Tomura was alright and where he was, making Aizawa frown beneath his bandages.
"The brat is fine, he's in a cell with measures having been taken to make him unable to use his Quirk to destroy anything. And why do you even care about him anyway, he didn't seem to care about you and he acted like a spoiled brat when things didn't go his way. He seems more like the kind of person you'd mess with just to get a reaction out of him." Aizawa said, knowing Oboro always enjoyed messing with people.
"Tomura's personality nor his treatment of me is none of my concern, only his wellbeing and safety, everything else is inconsequential. As long as nothing is done to Tomura, then you will not have any issues with me, otherwise I will not stop until I escape and free him should any harm befall Tomura Shigaraki. And I am not this Oboro, you seem to think I am." Retorted Kurogiri, satisfied at hearing Tomura was safe and unharmed.
"Yet that certainly sounds like something Oboro would say. Caring about someone, even if they don't care about him. Even if you don't remember and deny it all you want, I know who you are." Stated Aizawa, seeing that even with his changed appearance and personality, he still had Oboro's caring nature.
With Kurogiri merely leaning forward and looking at him with narrowed eyes.
"Even if what you say is true, I am now Kurogiri, guardian and caretaker of Tomura Shigaraki. That's all that matters to me." Kurogiri said, not caring for whatever past life they believe he had.
"Eraser Head, times up we need to get the prisoner back to his cell." Said the guard, making Aizawa frown before reluctantly standing up and look at Kurogiri.
"I'll be back after the Sports Festival; we still have a lot to catch up on Oboro." Said Aizawa, refusing to believe his friend was gone forever and swore to get through to him somehow.
*End Flashback*
"Okay, now then, despite the USJ Incident your fight isn't over, as now…the Sports Festival will be beginning soon." Aizawa said once he was in front of the class, much to the excitement of the students at the chance to compete and show what they can do.
"Alright! Let's go kick some ass!" Eijiro cheered, before being pushed back by Denki.
"Wait a second!" Said Denki, wondering if it was really a good idea to be hosting the Sports Festival after the attack.
"Is it really such a good idea to hold the Sports Festival so soon, after the Villains snuck inside?" Question Jiro, having similar thoughts.
"They could attack once we're all in the same place again." Mashirao added, knowing another attack could be even more dangerous as civilians could get caught in the crossfire.
"Apparently the administration thinks it's a good way to show that the threat has been handled and our school is safer than ever. Plus, they're also beefing up security compared to past years, if any more Villains are dumb enough to try another attack, they'll be met with a small army of Pro-Heroes. And more than that, this event is a huge opportunity for all students at UA, it's not something we can cancel because of a few Villains." Aizawa explained, knowing they'll be taking extra precautions and having more security this time.
"The Sports Festival is one the most watched events in the entire world, anyone that cares about competition it's the only tournament that matters. Pro-Heroes everywhere will be watching, observing to see what you all can do, making it important that you put on a good show to get notices, as getting noticed will mean getting internship offers at agencies or even becoming Sidekicks when you graduate. If any of you hope to go pro one day, this events helps open the path for you. One chance a year, three chances in a lifetime, no aspiring Hero can afford to miss this festival. That also means you better not slack off on your training." Said Aizawa, seeing all the students looked determined and ready.
"On that note, class is dismissed. Use the time between now until the Sports Festival to train and prepare." Aizawa concluded before taking his leave, with the students all starting to talk and ponder on what to expect from the Sports Festival and other students who'll be entering.
With Naruto, Izumi, Ochako, Tsuyu, Momo, and Tenya all going over to each other.
"I think it'd be good if we disbanded out training group for the time being, at least until the Sports Festival is over." Said Naruto, given they'd be competing against each other.
"Agreed, as we'll be competing to win, it wouldn't do for use to know what to expect from each other." Tenya said, refusing to settle for anything less than victory.
"That's fine with me, but let's all make sure to do our best even if we face each other." Said Momo while smiling at her friends, who nodded in agreement.
"That's right, ribbit. We may be facing each other in fights, so we'll need to do our best. Even if it means defeating each other, ribbit." Tsuyu stated.
"Then that'll mean we'll need to try even harder! Just because we're friends and classmates, doesn't mean we should hold back! Let's give it everything we've got!" Said Ochako, wanting to win and get noticed by Pro-Heroes so she'll be able to better help her family.
"Right! Let's all aim to win!" Said Izumi, also wanting to win and prove she was a worthy successor to All Might and inheritor of One For All.
Eventually all the students got up, planning to grab some lunch before leaving to get started on their training as soon as they could. But the moment the door opened, they were stopped at the sight of dozens of other students blocking the doorway, much to their surprise.
"U-um, why are you all here?!" Ochako asked, wondering why all these students suddenly showed up and blocked the door.
"Do you students have some sort of business with our class?" Questioned an also confused Tenya.
"Isn't it obvious? They're scouting the competition." Stated Naruto, knowing they all wanted to get a feel for the class that survived a real Villain attack.
"Uzumaki's right, they wanna see the students that survived a real Villain attack and helped bring them down. They wanna see us with their own eyes, and now you extras know what a future pro looks like!" Katsuki said while walking up to them all.
"You can't just call people "extras" because you don't like them!" Tenya said, still not liking Katsuki's attitude towards others.
"So, this is the famous Class 1-A." Said one of the students before walking in front of the crowd.
He was a young man with messy, indigo-colored hair that flares out in large tufts around his head and notably straight teeth. His eyes are purple with white pupils, and are thin and somewhat triangular in shape, pointing downward, with no visible eyelashes. They're also half-closed, and he has very dark eye bags underneath them.
"Who the hell are you, extra?" Katsuki retorted.
"Hitoshi Shinso of Class 1-C. And I'd heard you guys were impressive, but you just sound like an ass. Is everyone in the Hero Course delusional, or just you?" Questioned Hitoshi, making Katsuki growl in anger.
"How sad to come here and find a bunch of egomaniacs. I wanted to be in the Hero Course, but like many others here, I was forced to choose a different track. Such is life." Hitoshi continued, with Naruto narrowing his eyes at his attitude and calling them egomaniacs.
"I didn't cut it the first time around, but I have another chance. If any of us do well in the Sports Festival, the teachers can decide to transfer us to the Hero Course, and they'll have to transfer people out to make room." Revealed Hitoshi, making some of the students nervous that they could be transferred out.
"Scouting the competition? Maybe some of my peers are, but I'm here to let you know that if you don't bring your best, I'll steal your sport right from under you. Consider this a declaration of war." Hitoshi said, making the Uzumaki scowl and step forward.
"Do you think this is just a game?!" Demanded Naruto, starting to get annoyed with how this guy was talking, acting like they were here playing pretend or that they asked for Villains to attack them.
"Why not? You all certainly do, flaunting your status and achievements." Said another student as they stepped forward.
It was a young man of average height with slick blond hair, which gets shorter the further down his head it goes, styled so that it's parted to the right, his bangs left hanging over his right eye. His irises are a periwinkle blue, his pupils white and his eyes are shaped so that they're slanting downwards towards the far sides of his face, usually left half-closed, this, along his signature smirk and head tilt, gave him a rather contemptuous look.
"I'm Neito Monoma of Class 1-B, and I just have to say that all of you Class 1-A losers certainly don't live up to your hype." Said Neito before he gained a rather unhinged smile.
"I mean look at you, acting nervous and scared of a bunch of students that are weaker than you! It really shows that Class 1-A isn't as strong as you all claim if you're intimidated by us! You shouldn't even waste time entering the Sports Festival if you'll be intimidated by bigger numbers, is that what happened when those Villains showed up?! You all got scared and ran away to hide from them?!" Said Neito before he began laughing madly, with Naruto's anger only growing, while some of the other students began muttering amongst each other.
"No way! They're entering the Sports Festival so I can pound these 1-A bastards into the ground and show them what Class 1-B can do!" Another Class 1-B student said.
He was a young man with quite long, chin length, messy gray hair which is rather peculiar in that it never seems to change shape, and black eyes which are tilted dramatically inwards, each lined with a very thick, jagged, tan-colored substance, which are presumably his eyelashes. He doesn't appear to have any notable eyebrows, and, like Eijiro, he has rows of sharp, pointed teeth.
"Now, now Tetsutetsu, no need to waste time on them. They'd probably just ignore someone who they consider inferior to them! But maybe if we're lucky, more Villains can show up so they can show everyone just how "great" Class 1-A is!" Neito said with a crazed and mocking smile before he looked at Naruto.
"And hey I recognize you, you're the student that fought a Villain that All Might beat! But that same Villain also crushed you, I guess it goes to show you-" Said Neito.
"SHUT IT!" Naruto shouted, silencing all of the students while glaring murderously at Neito, who actually fell silent under his gaze.
"You all think we're lucky? Yeah, we're so lucky! We're so lucky that we got ambushed by a swarm of Villains that wanted to kill us! We're so lucky that we got separated from our friends and comrades, not knowing if they were safe or not! We're so lucky, we were forced to watch our teachers be incapacitated and brutalized in front of us! We're so lucky that some of us had pre-existing trauma we got to relive during that attack! And we're even more lucky that you all decided to show up and treat it like it was all just some damn game! Maybe if we're lucky again, more Villains will appear and you'll get to see how lucky we were during the USJ Attack!" Said Naruto with the crowd of students backing away with each word, while Class 1-A felt more emboldened.
"He's right. You say you're coming for our spots, then I hope you're prepared to risk your life every day, never knowing when it could be your last. Only that you protect your comrades and ensure the Villains are defeated, just like Heroes." Shoto said, speaking in his classes defense as well.
"We didn't ask to be ambushed by Villains or to be separated and forced to fight them off. But we did despite knowing the danger, as long as we kept our friends and comrades safe. Even after our friend risked his life to fight a Villain." Izumi added, also defending her class and friends.
"Or our teachers be brutalized and injured, we weren't going to cower or run away. Because that's what Heroes do, risk their lives every day to keep us safe from Villains. And that's what we'll do whether we're students, pros, or sidekicks." Stated Momo.
"And we fight for our friends and comrades! If we can't even protect one friend from being hurt, then forget being Heroes. We can't even call ourselves men!" Eijiro said.
"Our families as well! We fight to help and keep them safe, not for popularity or treating it like a game." Added Ochako
"To surpass the previous generation of Heroes and show them they'll be leaving the safety of the world in capable hands. That is what we hope to achieve." Tenya said.
"If it means we can protect our friends, families, and the innocent then we will fight any Villains that come after us, ribbit. If we can't even handle a bunch of thugs joined together, then we can't call ourselves Heroes or deserve the title, ribbit." Stated Tsuyu.
The others began speaking up as well and nodding in agreement, they may only be first year students and weren't ready or prepared to face Villains, but that didn't mean they'd stand down and do nothing. If they encountered Villains or anyone else that'd threaten their friends and comrades, then they'd fight no matter what.
"Well, you heard them you bunch of extras! You wanna take on the best, then bring it on! We'll blow every last one of you away!" Katsuki said with a mad grin and mini explosions going off in his hands.
"You say you're here to initiate a declaration of war, well here's one for you! You want to wage a war against us, we'll return it a thousand times over!" Said Naruto, with the rest of Class 1-A cheering in agreement, all of them ready to give them a war they want to start.
With this causing the majority of the mob to back down, many of them feeling ashamed of themselves at hearing exactly what they went through at the USJ. While others were now intimidated at the idea of now competing against Class 1-A, seeing just how strong they were together.
"Well bring it on you 1-A assholes! I don't care what you say, I'm ready to give everything you throw back a billion times over! I'll show you; you aren't better than us!" Tetsutetsu shouted stubbornly, refusing to back down.
"Hmph, you're all more arrogant than I thought, but fine. Say whatever you like, it'll only make you more embarrassed when you lose." Neito stated after regaining his cool and looked at them with a condescending smirk.
While Hitoshi merely looked at them resentfully with narrowed eyes, now refusing more than ever to lose to them or anyone else.
*Unknown Location*
Nine's eyes opened up, frowning at feeling like it hadn't been very long and thought it'd still be several months before he was ready to awaken.
Nine was a man of reasonable height with fair skin and thin, rectangular gray eyes and white pupils. He also had white hair that reaches just past his shoulders, worn swept back away from his face. His most defining feature was the large black mask that covers him from his chest to just above his nose, four extra pieces winding around the exposed skin of his face and around his head. Four darker plates cover each side of his neck, lined with dark purple, and he had what appears to be something similar to the flat muzzle of a gas mask over his mouth that's decorated with seven gray studs, as well as a large purple and black cylinder protruding from each of his shoulder blades. Below this, he wore a full-body suit of a similar design, with plates of black covering his entire body, leaving only his fingers exposed, and, over this, a blazer and dress pants of a pale lilac color. He also wore black boots.
'I expected the procedure to take longer. Or am I being awakened early for something?' Nine thought before standing up, only for his eyes to widen in surprise as he registered the lack of pain that came from his Quirk.
No trouble standing, breathing, moving, he no longer felt like he'd fall apart at any second, he's completely healed and cured.
"My body…it's healed and repaired." Said Nine in surprise, not expecting Kyudai to have been able to repair his body so soon.
"Not only repaired, but it's also even better." All For One stated, getting Nine's attention, now seeing the Symbol of Evil standing not far from him.
"All For One? What do you mean?" Nine asked, wondering what else was done to him, only knowing he'd be given a weaker version of the Quirk All For One.
"You have been given a more powerful version of All For One. Before you would have only been able to absorb a certain number of Quirks before reaching your limit. Now, you have no limit to the amount you can take. As well as the improvements I had made, now you may use your Weather Manipulation as long as you please and you won't suffer so much as a headache. As I said, you aren't just repaired, you're better than you could have ever been." Explained All For One, much to Nine's amazement, knowing he'll be able to make his and his allies dreams a reality.
"Then you have my thanks and gratitude, I couldn't have come this far without your assistance." Nine said, before immediately grabbing All For One's head to steal his Quirks.
"But I'm afraid that there's no room for two Kings in this world, and your time has long since passed." Added Nine as he stole all of the Symbol of Evil's power and Quirks, with All For One not even trying to stop him and merely smirked.
"I know." All For One stated before all of his Quirks stolen, including Life Force and Super Regeneration, leading to him falling over dead while Nine gasped as he felt the power flowing through him.
'All these Quirks, this power, it's…indescribable.' Thought Nine, reveling in the power flowing through him, feeling like he could do anything, along with being pleased at taking care of a dangerous rival.
"Yes, it is, isn't it? And thank you for doing exactly what I was counting on Nine." Said All For One, making Nine tense with his eyes glowing yellow as he began using Scanning and Infrared to try and locate where he was hiding.
"Where are you?! How are you still alive?!" Said Nine, trying to locate where All For One was hiding.
"So many questions, yet no answers, and none that you'll be getting. As soon, you won't be alive to worry about where I am or how I'm alive." All For One taunted.
"Yet your body is lying dead at my feet and you gave me a more powerful version of your Quirk. Now I have the original and every single Quirk you possessed." Nine retorted, with the Symbol of Evil merely letting out a wicked laugh.
"You really are a fool, if you think I'd give you a more powerful version of my Quirk or repair your body out of generosity. You were merely a prototype Nine, a test rat for Tomura to see if my Quirk would be able to be transferred to him one day. But with recent events, I had to make some alterations to my plan, and you just became so much more than a prototype Nine. So. Much. MORE!" Said All For One, with Nine's eyes widening as he began realizing that the Symbol of Evil wasn't hiding near him.
He was inside of him!
Realizing this, Nine grabbed his head and screamed in agony, feeling All For One trying to take over before he tried fighting him off from taking control of his body. Feeling his consciousness being forced into the back of his mind and slowly torn apart.
"An interesting fact you should know Nine, Quirks contain fragments of their owners consciousness. And with the nature of my Quirks and all the ones I've collected over the years, there's no one better to take advantage of such a trait! When you took all my Quirks, you took me as well! So, thank you Nine, for letting me in!" All For One taunted with a malicious grin, while Nine gave a final shriek of pain and agony before slumping forward.
Not a moment later, Nine stood up fully taking a deep breath before his eyes snapped open, showing they were now a dark, evil red as All For One took control. Having not only suppressed Nine's consciousness, but ripped it into shreds so that only he was within this body.
"It's been so long since I could breathe without assistance." All For One stated, examining his new body while organizing all the Quirks within it, as Kyudai stepped out from where he was hiding.
"How are you feeling Master? Is the new body suitable for your needs?" Questioned Kyudai, wanting to know how he's settling into his new body, with All For One ripping the mask off showing his dark smile.
"I've never felt better Dr. Garaki. I'd long since forgotten what it was like to see with my own eyes, let alone be in a body that wasn't horribly crippled and disfigured." Replied All For One, having relied on Infrared for so many years that it's slightly jarring to have eyes again.
"Don't sell yourself short, Master. Even in your old body, you were still a fearsome foe for anyone that'd force your hand." Kyudai said, believing that All For One was still powerful and feared in his crippled body.
"Yes, I suppose you're right. Even if I were to face All Might, while I likely would have lost, it would have come at the cost of forever robbing him of his ability to ever use One For All again." Said All For One while glancing at his former body.
"But even so, I must be off, this new body requires training to use my Quirks, as well as getting a feel for Nine's Weather Manipulation." All For One added, knowing that Quirk will certainly be a useful addition to his collection, especially now that the negative traits have been negated.
"Of course, Master, I'll be sure to keep everything in order until your return." Said Kyudai, with All For One nodding before looking at the doctor.
"One more thing doctor, keep an eye on the UA Sports Festival while I'm training and see to it my old body is properly disposed, while also spreading word of my "unfortunate demise". Along with ensuring our spies and allies know the truth." Said All For One, wanting the world to believe he was dead.
Knowing the power vacuum and chaos that will spread from it will keep the Heroes at bay and busy, while they move through the shadows and prepare.
"I'll see that it's done, Master." Kyudai replied with a short bow, watching the Symbol of Evil in amazement as he took his leave.
'Like a phoenix, he's risen from the ashes more powerful than ever.' Thought Kyudai, knowing now more than ever that great changes were coming to the world.
So, what did you think, good. Yep we see a moment between Naruto and Yu, along with some more teasing before we go to UA where Naruto reunites with the rest of Class 1-A, who're glad to see him up again along with learning about the damage to his "Quirk". Then we see Aizawa arrive, with a flashback showing him meeting with Kurogiri and planning to visit again to get through to his friend, before he then explains the importance of the UA Sports Festival. Next we see the other students arriving to confront Class 1-A and see the competition, lead by Hitoshi, Neito, and Tetsutetsu, causing Naruto to snap from their comments and tell them just how "lucky" they were to be ambushed and attacked by Villains, with the rest of 1-A joining him and standing together, throwing their declaration of war right back at them. Finally we see All For One trick Nine into absorbing all his Quirks, allowing him to take control of Nine's body and destroy his consciousness, before going off to train his new body and Quirks, while having Kyudai spread word his "death" while keeping their allies and spies informed. So, review if you liked go away if you didn't.
Storm out
