So a lot of folks have been commenting and pming that they hope Percy kills Mitchell. Mitchell's resolution isn't in this chapter but is coming up soon; I hope you like it.

If you are still reading this, let me know what you think!

As Annabeth had her electronic wand, or 'E-wand,' in her hand already, and that hand still in her purse, she was able to come up with a plan on the fly that she hoped would work. It depended on these death eaters being as stupid as she hoped they were.

"Baxter, do you have any gum? I'm sorry but I've gotta get that taste out of my mouth, and if we do this again you need change your diet and lay off the red meat," she asked as she thumbed the distress signal on the wand that would summon all available agents to her aid, and then switched it to taser mode. The distress signal was designed to send her coordinates to every agent within 20 kilometers, then to those within 50, 100, and so on until she turned it off. Annabeth pretended to not notice the death eaters, until the one behind Kingsley spoke.

"Baxter? Who is 'Baxter'?" he asked, "This is the Minister of Magic you stupid whore, and he's coming with us! Check it out guys, the Minister has to hire a whore to get laid!" he shouted, practically laughing at what he supposed was the Minister's humiliation, while also wondering about what the lovely tart and the minister had been up to. Truth be known, the assailant wouldn't mind getting some of that and those thoughts left him just distracted enough.

"Hey, I'm not a whore! I'm a respectable escort companion, and you're only mad because can't afford me! Baxter, if you want me to take care of your friend it's gonna cost extra," Annabeth said, and as the attacker snickered in reaction, it gave her a chance to silently cast a shield charm on Kingsley with her actual wand, still hidden, as she pretended to dig around in her purse now with both hands looking for gum.

Now she was ready.

"Look bitch, you need to go away, we don't want you," the guy said just as Annabeth withdrew both wands. The ICW taser she jammed into the guy's armpit, stabbing the twin electrodes into his flesh and unloaded several hundred thousand volts of electrical power into him. The Death Eater didn't have time to cast a spell before his body began to flop around uncontrollably. The other three attackers were too startled to react quickly, but Annabeth was already aiming her wand and casting her attack spell.

Although they had discussed it earlier, Annabeth wasn't a fan of the killing curse for a couple of reasons, neither of which was the death of the target; she was perfectly okay with that. The biggest was that it was slow and took a little over a second to cast, whereas a number of other spells took far less time and required less verbal and somatic manipulation of the mist. The other reason was that while the killing curse was fatal, it didn't hurt anywhere near enough for Annabeth's taste. If she wanted something dead, she didn't feel the need to be kind or gentle about it. Her "go to" killing curse had more and more become glacious trea, a charm that instantly froze solid whatever it hit. She could cast four in a second and since it was a cone of effect, she generally had to just point towards the target to score a hit, assuming the target was in range as these clowns certainly were. With the killing curse you needed to absolutely hit the target and near misses did nothing. That meant when facing multiple opponents, the likelihood of multiple kills was reduced. That was a significantly less problem with glacious trea, which was targeted more like a shotgun and less like a rifle.

Before the three remaining attackers could act, two were essentially dead from solid hits to the chest, which instantly crystalized into ice their heart, lungs and blood. Their brains remained alive, feeling horrible pain for several minutes, although if healing and warming spells were cast quickly enough, they would live, but a life of near continuous agony for several months. Annabeth never understood why this was a perfectly acceptable spell while the more merciful killing curse was forbidden, but she didn't write the rules. There was no rule against glacias trea probably because no one ever imagined that a person would be cruel enough to use it as an offensive curse.

The last attacker got lucky, or in the alternative Annabeth didn't, as her shot was went wide and only his arm was in the area of effect. It was the arm that held his wand though and he fell to his knees screaming until Annabeth silenced him with a stupefying jinx. She then accioed their wands, cast an restraining spell to stop movement including apparition, and cast a sleep charm on the tasered one, as much as anything because he was still moaning and it was a bit annoying.

Before Kingsley could react, the battle was over and ICW agents all over the region were using emergency port keys and apparation to rally to Chase's aid, which she no longer needed.

Annabeth turned with her wand extended to the few witnesses. Some one had signaled the attackers that they were leaving, but it was more likely someone on the street or a nearby rooftop rather than the group behind them, as those had already passed security. Still, she was raged up on adrenaline and could not be certain if anyone else present was an accomplice, so she loudly demanded;

"Any of you motherfuckers want some?"

No one did want to attack, or even move, and some held their breath for fear of any movement drawing her attention. The few people watching the scene were stunned by the developments and display of extreme violence that Chase had demonstrated.

"We're clear. All hostiles down, secure the perimeter, and get investigations down here. Those three need the calefaciens spell now," Annabeth told the more local ICW agents as they arrived, wands drawn at the ready to find the scene. Their arrival quelled any further chance of violence, however none of the witnesses were Death Eaters and none were sympathetic to them. The agents took statements from all of them as well as Kingsley, and it was almost immediately declared a clean shoot on Annabeth's part.

A few moments after the first agents arrived, Chase turned off her emergency signal. She was a few seconds late in doing so, although the all clear had been sent. This was done automatically as the agents on scene turned off the beacon that had summoned them. When received the electric wand vibrated, then if not acknowledged after a minute it began beeping. Once within proximity to the original request if an agent sent the all clear signal, the beacon stopped, but unanswered signals continued to beep to alert its holder that an emergency had occurred and that they should check in with HQ. As the emergency alert system overrode all other E-wand actions, all of this worked whether the receiving agent had their device turned on or not.

An instant after the all clear had been sent, Percy's unit, as well as Hazel's, vibrated and alerted them to the emergency almost 500 miles away, and that it was Annabeth seeking assistance. When the all-clear arrived a second later Jackson was still throwing on a bathrobe, grabbing his kit and wand, and generally loading up for bear, and Levesque was still recovering from a fucking Mitchell put on her. Percy was preparing to go in his bathrobe, pj's and house slippers. Even as he had confused feelings about Annabeth and any relationship moving forward, she was still Annabeth, and no one; no-maj, monster, magician or demigod, got to fuck around with his Annabeth. There was no question about answering the call.

"Need help?" he audio messaged to Annabeth as soon as the all-clear signal arrived.

Annabeth was too busy to mess with a person she knew to be a rapist but promptly replied back.

"No. Attack on Minister, all perps dead or in custody. May be coordinated with other attacks. Secure the castle."

"I can be there in a minute" was Percy's reply.

"No. Fuck off. I don't need you here, follow orders, secure castle."

'Yep, she's still pissed,' Percy thought.

"K, please contact Estelle when you can, she's worried about you."

"I'm fine, I'll see her tomorrow. Do your job and secure the castle. Now!" Annabeth replied, her anger at him exacerbating the rage she had not come down from yet.

Hazel's reply was moments later.

"Just got all clear, need help still?"

"No, assist Jackson. Secure the castle. Make sure he does it."

"Roger that."

"Miss Chase, are you alright?" Kingsley asked. He had rarely seen someone go from the relaxed nature of his or her conversations from moments before to being a focused killing machine so quickly.

"Yeah, how about you? I cast a protection charm on you before I took them out, I hope it worked" she smiled at Kingsley.

"It must have, there is not a scratch on me."

"Well, that's one thing that went well then" she grinned, "Give me a second and we'll get you out of here. Until then, get your wand ready for a fight or to get yourself out."

"Who's the senior agent here?" Chase shouted to the agents.

"I guess that's me," Carolyn Sommers responded after looking around to see who else was present.

"Why aren't you at your protection detail?"

"Its my night off mam,"

"Okay, as soon as the investigation team arrives, get back to it. They need to know if this is a coordinated attack. In fact signal them now and"

"Already have mam. I got this. It's okay. Under control." Sommers replied, calmly, hoping her cool demeanor would bring Chase's rage down a notch or two.

"Of course, I'm sorry, still wired for sound and;" Annabeth paused as she and all the other agents heard the distinct beeping of an E-wand.

"Okay, who is the loser this time?" Annabeth said, nearly laughing. Agents are required to follow precise protocols on their signaling devices but as emergency signals rarely occur, inevitably someone forgets to turn the alert off and after a minute the beeping begins. They were usually given some jovial grief about the error, and punished by having to go get the coffee the rest of the team would need to work into the night, but in practical terms it really made no difference. That someone had not done so finally broke the ice on Chase's angry rage and made her giggle a bit.

"Looks like Johansson mam," Sommers replied with a smile pointing to a young female agent from Texas that was examining one of the perp's bodies while applying the warming spell that would possibly save his life. Johannson was the only agent in the area of the beeping so there was no denying that she was the source.

A2 Erika Johansson looked up with a shocked look on her face though.

"It's not me mam, it's him," she said as she reached into the man's robes and extracted what was clearly an E-wand.

"Huh?" both Sommers and Chase said in unison.

"Anybody lose one lately?" Chase asked her fellow agent as they both approached.

"Not that has been reported. Somebody in trouble maybe?"

"ID says 'Celeste Durham.' Know her?" the young agent asked.

"Yes. Guys this is what we came for. I want the investigation team here 20 minutes ago. Johansson, bag that and turn it over to them when they arrive. By 10 am tomorrow I want to know everywhere it has been, everyone that has touched it, who these clowns are, where they've been, and what they were doing there too. I want everything. Be ready to tell me what their mommy had for breakfast and crawl up all their asses with a flashlight. Wake everybody up; it's going to be another long night. Carolyn, I'm taking the Minister to a safe house I have. No contact, except through you. E-wand only, I'm shutting off everything else. Let's get it done, this is the first lead we've had in… ever."

"Roger that mam," Sommers replied with a determined look on her face as Chase grabbed the Minister's arm and apparated away.

"Uh, where are we?" Kingsley asked as he oriented himself.

"Ever stay at a hotel in London?" Annabeth asked as she cast an excess of protection spells then pulled the scotch out and grabbed two highball glasses.

"No. Why would I? I had a flat in London before I became Minister," Kingsley explained.

"Good, so anyone looking for you wouldn't know to look here. This is my room and for the night your name is 'Curtis' and mine is 'Karen' if you have to use a name, just in case there is a taboo spell on yours or mine. Until we get a handle on this situation, I'm your body guard."

"I can defend myself, I don't really need a bodyguard," Shacklebolt said.

"Ever take out four armed perps that had the jump on you?" Annabeth smiled.

"Well no, I can't say that has ever come up before tonight."

"Then tonight I'm your body guard. I'll get you back to the ministry in the morning and I want four aurors on you at all times. Pick ones you know you can trust."

"The name that woman mentioned before, does it mean something?" Kingsley asked.

"Durham?"

"Yes, I think that was it."

"She's the reason ICW invaded the UK and made your life miserable. She was an agent sent to investigate reported disappearances of both muggles and magicians, made a few reports on arrival, and then disappeared. Our agents have a lot of independence when working alone, so by the time we knew she was gone, there was no trail to follow, and the war was over. Her E wand was powered down so we couldn't trace it, but the emergency signal I sent overrides the DND or sleep mode and turns it on. It may now be able to tell us all we need to know to find her attackers, and any other dark artisans they have been in contact with," Annabeth sighed.

"You haven't made my life miserable, quite the contrary. Just taking the school off my plate has been a huge blessing," he smiled. "Are you more or less stressed now? I was concerned about you after the fight." Kingsley asked.

"I could use a big stiff one," Annabeth replied as she handed a tumbler to the Minister.

"I never would have taken you for a whisky drinker."

"I wasn't talking about liquor," she grinned as she knocked the scotch down, and then set the tumbler on a sidebar. The adrenaline rush from combat had done nothing to tone down her libido, if anything it enhanced it. Fortunately she had an available solution and the last few days had removed any inhibitions she had about being the aggressor in the bedroom.

"So for the last several times I've seen you, I've gotten the impression you have been checking me out, looking me over. Am I right?" she smiled.

"If I denied it, would you believe me?" Kingsley asked.

"No, but it's okay. It is what we do when we're attracted to someone, and if that someone is attracted in return, and then it is more than okay. Wanna see more?" she giggled as she pulled the small sleeves from her shoulders and with her wand unzipped the dress before letting it fall to the floor and stepping out of it.

The Minister of Magic's eyes were fixed on Annabeth's body, now covered, if one could call it that, by a quarter cup bra that let her areolas peak out the top and a small matching panty. She approached him and kissed him passionately as he placed his hands on her waist and returned her endearment. Their embrace became more passionate and Kingsley could hardly believe it was happening. He never dreamed he would have the affection of beautiful woman at best half his age, and yet he wasn't one to deny himself the pleasure of it either.

Kingsley deftly unsnapped the bra and it fell to the floor and a large warm hand cupped and massaged a breast, eliciting a moan from Chase. She enjoyed the affection and sensuality immensely and to show her appreciation dropped down, her ass resting on her ankles and reached up to unzip his pants.

"What the fuck? That's… That's not natural!" she practically squealed as she withdrew a mocha skinned member that seemed as long as the core of a roll of paper towels, and quite a bit thicker. Lifting it with two hands barely covered half of it and it looked so delicious she stuffed the swollen head into her hot, wet mouth without further discussion.

Kingsley was amazed when she swallowed it all down, and even more so when a few minutes later Annabeth laid naked on the bed, her legs wide open, as she demanded he fuck her.

Kingsley had a wonderful night and truth be told, so did Chase.
