"It was a thrust like lightning."

(Spear is about to stab Shirou in the heart.)

Several gasps can be heard from the students. Slyvie and Vernal immediately got enraged and raised from their seats. Raven appeared to be calm, but her grip on the armrest says otherwise.

"That was unexpected, but I guess nearly dying does count as a person's most important event in life." Ozpin said. Ruby heard this and tried to calm down, reminding herself that Shirou is alive and survived this encounter.

(Saber appeared and protected Shirou, the two of them met.)

"I ask of you, are you my Master?"

"I'm sure I'll remember this scene vividly even when I've gone to hell."

Raven, Slyvie and Vernal's eyes widened.

"Is that…" Vernal turned to Raven and asked. The students were speechless and relieved at Saber's appearance under the moonlight.

Ozpin and his colleagues immediately realised the identity of this girl. "Winter, write down everything you can about that girl, now!" General Ironwood commanded Winter. She wasted no time and immediately started to act on her orders.

Fate

"This is a story from ten years ago."

"Huh? Who's this?" Jaune asked, feeling confused at the sudden change of perspective and a new voice.

(Rin's last conversation with her father, he likely won't be coming back, brief explanation of Grail War, father tells Rin she must win the Grail)

"Wait, Magus? Are they wizards that can use magic?" Yang asked.

Ozpin's circle naturally turned their head towards the only magic user they know. Ozpin frowned. There should be no more than eight people that can use magic in the current era. He is feeling rather confused right now, so he shook his head and turned his vision to the screen.

Weiss crossed her arms and asked another question. "How is it a war if there are only seven people fighting in it? That sounds closer to a brawl to me."

"What is this 'Holy Grail' anyway? Sounds like a big deal if people are willing to die for it." Vernal asked loudly.

Day 1/31

(Rin wakes up tiredly, cleans herself and showing the audience a view of her house)

"It is the custom of the Tohsaka family to act with composure and elegance at all times."

Winter and Weiss nodded at this. It seems that the Tohsaka family is a noble family, so composure and elegance is expected from them. As the daughters of the Schnee family, they act with composure and elegance to maintain the image of their family as well.

"Ruby, are you thinking what I'm thinking?" Yang asked. Ruby nodded, and replied. "Yeah, this girl reminds me of Weiss."

(Rin talks about the Tohsaka family and their magic, and explains why she needs to hide herself. She further explains about the difference between 'magic' and 'sorcery', and the difference between magic and technology.)

Ozpin frowned. This girl's definition of magic is completely different from his own. Beyond modern technology? Miracles? Five sorcerers? Seeing Ozpin's deep frown, Qrow refrained from asking him for details. He himself is rather curious about magic too, and more knowledge about the topic is always welcomed. He can ask Ozpin later when they return to Beacon.

"Ugh, what's the difference between 'magic' and 'sorcery' anyway? I'm so confused." Vernal groaned. She knew Raven's weather power is magic, but what's the difference between magic and sorcery? And why does it matter?

(Rin heads out to school, grabs her pendant, explains about the Tohsaka family magecraft, and realises her clock is an hour early when she meets with Ayako at the school.)

The students nodded with sympathy. Getting up early is annoying, and getting up early because of an early clock is even more frustrating. Just think of all the extra sleep you could have got!

"I have three acquaintances in the archery club."

(Rin and Ayako have tea in the Archery range, and Ayako starts talking about 'partners' and their friendship.)

"Or in other words, "Unless we go all out against each other, we'll never really be friends"."

"Wait," Blake said, "Are they talking about the Holy Grail War? Is Ayako a magus as well?"

Everyone frowned at this. Does this mean that Ayako and Rin will eventually fight each other?

(The conversation continues, and the audience realise that they are talking about getting a boyfriend. They both never had a relationship, and they end their secret talk in case someone hears it.)

"You know, this is getting kinda boring." Yang said. Raven, Qrow, Vernal and Slyvie nodded in agreement. "Isn't this about Shirou? Where the fuck is he?" Slyvie asked.

General Ironwood was thinking the same thing as well. There is nothing noteworthy until now other than the fact that this Rin girl reveals that her family can use magic.

(Sakura enters, Rin leaves, run into Shinji, he tries to hit on her, but gets brutally rejected.)

The students, Qrow, Slyvie and Vernal laughed at this. "This kinda reminds me of when Fearless Leader tried to ask Weiss-cream out, Ren!" Nora said. Jaune groaned out of embarrassment. "Really, Nora? Can you not bring it up?"

Winter narrowed her eyes on Jaune. She'll have to keep an extra eye on the boy.

(Rin runs into Taiga, had a small talk, and introduces that she is respected as the "Tiger of Fuyuki".)

"Is she really a teacher?" Professor Goodwitch asked. "She doesn't even act like an adult. It seems that the students don't really respect her if they didn't even bother to call her by her title."

"Not every teacher has to be stern and rigid like you, Glynda." Qrow retorted. The students silently giggled at that.

(Rin bumps into Issei, had an argument, Shirou appears.)

Everyone was surprised by this. They expected to see Shirou as a kid, not as a teenager.

"What the fuck?" Raven said. "This doesn't make any sense!"

"Yeah! You said this is the most important event in Shirou's life before he met Raven, but Raven only met him when he was nine!" Vernal shouted.

Shirou had an encounter that regressed his age before Raven found him. He was thirty five years old before the deaging.

Everyone is shocked by this information. Everyone, except Ozpin. He knew the entity that can do that, and that means his theory about Shirou is probably correct. He glanced towards Raven, and was determined to talk to her later.

"Deaging? You mean like in the fucking movies!?" Slyvie asked loudly.

"How is that even possible? Is it a semblance? Who have such a dangerous semblance?" Weiss asked.

That is unrelated to the viewing. We will not answer that question.

"What!? Tell me! Argh! You better stay hidden, fucko, or I'll bash your skull in!" Vernal snared back.

(Shirou is helping the student council to fix the heaters. He offhandedly greeted Rin.)

"So his habit and skill of fixing broken stuff is still there, huh?" Raven commented. Slyvie and Vernal had a small smile at this. It seems that this is still the same Shirou they know and love.

"Emiya… that would be Shirou Emiya, from class 2-C."

"Shirou...Emiya…" Raven tested the name on her tongue. "So that's his last name…"

"Slyvie…Emiya...hehehe…" Slyvie giggled to herself. When she realised Raven and Vernal were staring at her with raised eyebrows, she blushed heavily.

(Rin has class, goes to the rooftop during lunch break to stay alone, talks about how magus can leave no witnesses, so she stays away from her friends.)

"So inevitably, my social life has become a shallow one."

That reminded Pyrrha and Weiss about their social life before attending Beacon. Due to their fame and status, they never had any real friends to be called their own, but Beacon changed that, and they are thankful for it.

(Rin goes back home, receives a message from Kirei, urges her to summon her Servant with her command spell. Rin explains more about Master and Servant, how she needs an artifact to summon a Servant. Rin decided to summon Saber by force.)

At the mention of magic, everyone got excited again. The Master and Servant system intrigues them, but none more so than Ozpin. What is this "Servant"? Command Spells? Another thing that boggles his mind is how long the ritual has been active. How did he never notice the ritual? Where is Fuyuki anyway? Which Kingdom does it belong to?

"The peak of my magical energy is at exactly two in the morning."

(Rin prepares a magic circle to summon her Servant.)

"It's happening! A real magic ritual!" Ruby squeaked. Everyone was watching at the scene with their total concentration. Most of them have never seen a real magic ritual happening, and this is a ritual to summon a familiar, something that is a classic in supernatural fiction.

(Rin starts chanting, a bright light shines, but there is nothing.)

"Huh…?"

"What? Did the ritual fail?" Jaune asked.

"Wow," Vernal clapped sarcastically, "Here I thought we will see some amazing magic ritual. Turns out to be a-"

(An explosion occurs from the living room)

"What?"

(Rin runs upstairs, breaks down the door, sees the living room in ruins, a man sits there cockily.)

"WOAH! Did you see that Renny? He came from an EXPLOSION! And he just sits there like he owns the house! How awesome is that!" Nora exclaimed.

"Oooh, He's pretty handsome!" Yang stated dreamily. Qrow and Raven turned their heads and gave her a look.

Yang noticed this, and snarked back. "What? I just think he's handsome!"

"So that is a Servant…" Ironwood muttered. He was half expecting some sort of mystical beast, considering Salem can command the grimm as mindless monsters. "Winter, did you write down the chant she used?"

"Yes, General Ironwood."

"Good."

"I can do most things just like everyone else, but I have one hereditary curse. That is, to make the biggest mistakes at the most important times…"

(Rin and Archer had a heated discussion, Rin shows her Command Spells, as proof of being a Master.)

"I'm not happy, but I'll accept it. You're my Master for now. But I have conditions as well. From now on, I will ignore your opinions. I will decide how to fight, and you will follow my plans. This is the best I'll compromise on. You don't mind that, right, young lady?"

"Wow, this Servant is a huge jerk." Blake stated blandly. The Servant's attitude reminds her of how Adam sometimes acts when he lets his successes get over his head.

"Yeah, if someone talks to me like that, I will bash him in the head immediately." Slyvie said while Vernal nodded in agreement. Raven was staring at Archer's face, as it feels familiar to her.

"No," Qrow interrupted. "He's just acting like one to test Rin's personality."

"And how would you know that, drunkard?" Winter argued.

Qrow grinned. "Of course I would know. It's what I do all the time! Act like a jerk, people get angry, people make mistakes, and boom! I win." Qrow raised his hands and shrugged his shoulders like it was nothing. "You would know, Ice Queen. You lost to a 'drunkard' after all." He stated with a condescending tone.

"What!" Weiss shouted. "Winter will never lose to you! Right, sister?"

Winter's enraged glare at Qrow answered her.

(Archer tells Rin to hide in the basement while he fights, Rin uses her command seal for obedience, explains the function of command seals, Archer praised Rin that she is an excellent magus, so her command seal worked well.)

"Hey! This reminds me of the first time I met Weiss!" Ruby said.

"Really?" Weiss asked.

"Yeah! You were shaking a dust vial in front of me, then blamed me when it exploded!"

Weiss had the decency to shrink into her seat and look guilty, while Winter scolded her.

(Archer explains Servant is anchored by their Master, states his class, Rin blames herself, Archer explains he has amnesia due to faulty summoning.)

"What are you saying? I am the servant you summoned. Naturally, I am the strongest."

"Wow, Archer's pretty confident in himself for a guy who can't even remember his own name." Jaune said.

"Well, maybe he's lying?" Pyrrha suggested.

(Rin throws a broom and a dustpan at Archer, telling her to clean the living room, and goes to bed.)

"Wow, Rin's really treating Archer as her Servant, huh?" Blake said.

"Well, he did make a mess out of the living room. He should clean up his own mess." Weiss replied haughtily.

"Yup," Ruby stated while nodding to herself, "Rin and Weiss are really similar."
