It was cold. And wet. So unlike this time of year should be. The war was over, and the world should have been full of sunshine and laughter, but it wasn't. Life for her could be no darker; no fuller of dispair. All around her people celebrated, and life continued, and the war was over, but here she was, staring at a grave that shouldn't exist and wondering where it all went wrong.
