to say that Dib was impressed would be an insult, he was fascinated! the whole examination lab was breathtaking now that the human had a chance to look around, he would lean against the glass of tubes where random creatures floating inside, some were blob-looking, blue, some green and some could actually change their color depends on their mood, surprised or afraid; the place reminded him of his illness, how all of the sudden he would feel lightheaded and everything begins to spin. It's a terrible experience that somehow stopped happening for a while now, he wasn't sure if that was good or bad, it scared him, especially that he stopped taking his pills most of the time.
that aside, right now Dib was staring down at the human called 'Liam' his bully. He was strapped where the security guard was, for the last half an hour he kept screaming and whining until Zim had enough and knocked him off- well, not exactly since Liam kept murmuring nonsense under his breath, Dib guessed Zim did this on purpose.
"Get me the octopus," Zim demanded, hands on hips, he was looking at the strapped human with a smug on his face,
Dib walked to the said octopus, a big purple octopus, it was inside of a tube, he dragged to the whole thing and placed it beside Zim, "why an octopus?" he asked, curious, staring at what in hell Zim was going to do.
"meh, why not?" he smirked, glancing at the human boy, red/ruby eyes that seemed to make Dib's breath stop for a second, maybe he'll get a time to stare at them later.
he leaned on the table, watching as the alien worked, not really caring if he cut a nerve and killed the bully, he just wanted to have fun.
after a while of him poking and attaching wires to the boy, he sighed and typed some weird symbols on the keyboard beside him, "now for the show~" his smirk grew, taking half of his face, with a bush of a button, the whole sea creature disappeared from the tube, Dib heard the boy scream at the top of his lungs, his skin became a shade of purple, eyes rolling back to his head, all his body arched back; the whole scene was familiar to Dib that he looked to the side for a moment before remembering what the bully did to him and glanced back, he deserved it, he should have left him alone when he asked to.
"hm, all done," Zim stared at the now purplish face, "what are you?" he asked, his claw taping ever so slowly on the table.
"I-... I'm... I'M AN OCTOPUS! I need to go back to the ocean, I have a family in there!" he whined, looking as if the alien was 'normal'
Dib laughed so hard he had to hold his bruised stomach, the whole experiment was too amusing he couldn't hold himself, "no way man," he took a deep breath to hold the loud laugh, "that's too pathetic!"
Zim glanced at him for a moment before smirking, "of course it is pathetic, every creature on this planet is pathetic," he leaned closer, "except for you because now you're mine, and my stuff aren't pathetic."
"That was amazing," he giggled, finally breathing normally, he didn't laugh like this in a while, a long while.
"I'M GONNA DIE!" the octopus guy cried out, his tears weirdly black, ink if Dib was right.
"yes, yes, you will die." Zim waived a hand on him, not interested in the subject anymore.
"NO, I HAVE KIDS!"
Dib laughed again, the words were so odd coming from the, oh, great Liam! and how he said he had kids and looking like a sick teenager made it that funnier.
"You're gonna laugh your organs out," Zim smirked at him, seeming pleased with the human's sudden laughter, "maybe I won't let you die octopus-man because you made my Dib laugh."
The octopus seemed overjoyed and in disbelief, he looked from the laughing human; who's face turned red and soon will be blue from the lack of oxygen, to the alien who was evilly, yet pleased smiling down at him, "YES! THANK YOU!"
Zim let the communicator slid from his PAK, it landed in his hand in front of his face, "Gir, get down here,"
in a second, the small robot landed in Dib's arms, smirking with a pig toy in his hands, "HIII!" he moved the doll's tiny hand as if it was waving at the boy.
"Hi," Dib replied, smiling.
"Awwww piggy loves yooooou," Gir made the doll dance in the boy's chest.
"Gir, go wait for me in the Voot, we're visiting the moon," Zim said, he then ordered his computer to put the octopus in a tube and in the Voot.
"YAAYY, take care of him, piggy!" Gir left the doll in the human arms as he jumped and ran somewhere, screaming 'CHEESE' all the way there.
"I know YOU'll like this, Diblet."
Dib was a little confused as he didn't hear what Zim said to his robot, only a thing about the 'moon'? he wasn't sure, "come," Zim ordered.
Dib followed without complaining, wanting to see what 'he'll like' as Zim said.
XXX
well, now the examination lab seemed normal because what he was looking at was impossibly breathtaking, the 'Voot' was a SPACESHIP! a real alien spaceship!
"wow..." he murmured under his breath, staring as he stood still, seeing as Zim checked the back of the ship, making sure the octopus-man was there.
"what are you waiting for?" Zim broke him all of the sudden, a hand on his hip, he didn't seem angry but rather flattered.
"that's too amazing!" he walked slowly to him, looking inside the ship, "too very amazing...!"
"isn't it? now get in," the Irken said as he took the pilot seat, he typed some commands but paused to stare at the still-standing human, Zim leaned in his keyboard, cupped his own face and gave the human a smirk, "too good to be true?"
Dib nodded slowly, then started to climb in, taking a little while for him to do so, but after a moment he seemed like he figured it out and sat on the passenger seat, looking everywhere like a child, the lights reflecting on his big glasses.
the ship let out a humming noise before the windshield closed, and then the ship started to rise from the ground slowly, not shaking at all, the roof opened revealing the night starts, with a hum the ship flew to the sky so fast Dib thought he'll throw out, when everything on the ground looked like small ant houses the Voot Runner stopped, it moved slightly left to right as Zim seemed to scan the area, " where's the sea?" he asked.
Dib looked at him, how he was piloting the ship smoothly, so steady; he was so good at it, "not so near, I'm not sure where exactly though,"
Zim gave a 'hm' in response, "Computer," he called.
"YES, MASTER?" the female voice answered.
"show me a sea where there are- eh, octopus things and all," he waved his hand on the air, waiting for an answer.
the ship hummed before a hologram screen popped up showing two dots, "THE NEAREST OCEAN HAS BEEN FOUND, AUTOPILOT?"
"yea, sure, whatever." Zim then laid back in his seat, they both saw as the buttons began to glow as the Voot flew above houses, Dib could see his own house, passing it while they flew through clouds.
"is piggy alive??" Gir asked all of the sudden, he jumped from Zim's lap to the human's.
"uh, yeah," he reached for his pocket and got the pig doll out, "here," Dib said as he handed the doll back to the robot who jumped in happiness.
Gir gasped as if he didn't expect his doll to be even together, "You took cares of piggy!" he cheered, hugging his doll, "Piggy loves yous," he made the pig doll hug Dib's chest for a second before the SIR unit jumped back to his Master.
Dib smiled, then shifted his hands to rest them in his lap, leaning forward to stare outside.
Illness seemed to be quiet.

Zim opened the tube with a button, the thing hissed and revealed the octopus-man as he stood, staring at the ocean before him, "T- This my home!" he cried out, then ran to the water, hands in the air.
both Zim, who was holding his robot near his chest, and Dib stood watching Liam running and screaming with joy, he disappeared into the waves which somehow looked like a happy ending for the octopus.
"He got eaten by a shark," Gir said happily, which made Dib and Zim stare at him for a moment.
"What a pretty home of his, heh." Zim answered with sarcasm, smirking evilly at the water as it turned a slight red color before the waves cleaned it up, "Happy Ending!" he cheered, giggling.
Dib gave him a look but smiled nonetheless, well, maybe it is a happy ending.
"C'MON LES GO TO DA CHEESE!" Gir whined all of the sudden, freaking Dib out of his silent moment.
"hm, of course," Zim answered quietly, he gazed at the human, "That wasn't what I wanted to show you!" he gave him a big smile, then span on heels, jumping on the sand as he waved his hand to Dib, "come!"
Dib, as usual, followed him, what a wonderful day, huh?
in the ship, Zim unlocked the autopilot and took control, he looked at the sky, at the large moon, with a move of his hands, the Voot Runner rose so high in the air, it flew so fast that Dib couldn't pinpoint the colors of anything outside.
"We gonna to the moon!" Gir cheered up, hands in the air as he sat in his Master's lap.
"READY TO LEAVE THE EARTH'S ATMOSPHERE." The Computer warned them, flying throw the clouds at a crazy speed, the seats seemed to lower a bit as both boys were forced to lean against its fabric, Zim smirking, showing all his teeth as Gir kept screaming 'DOOM'. meanwhile, Dib was holding the chair arms with both hands, digging his nails with fear written all over his face, he closed his eyes shut as the Voot began to shake, Zim laughed at him before everything became dark.
the ship became still, no screaming, no Computer noises, the boy felt he was being stared at as he opened his eyes, the first thing he saw was Zim, looking at him with confusion, "Humans don't die in space, do they?" he asked with a low tone.
"h- huh?" he shifted on his seat, "We need oxygen to survive in space," he gave a worried face towards the irken.
"oh," Zim said as if he was disappointed, "That's no problem, I have space suits!" he smiled and pointed behind the human, Dib glanced back, looking at the ship's walls, there were some devices hanging from it, "Gimme!" Zim pointed at the box-shaped device with both hands.
The human stood from his seat and walked on bare feet, the ground was cold, he wished he grabbed them before going but it seems he won't be wearing them anyway, not ready for a whole 'lemme shove your legs' conversation. the device wasn't that heavy, it was metallic with the 'irken' symbol on it if he wasn't wrong, he then walked back with the grey box to Zim just in time for his eyes to actually take a look outside.
he almost dropped the 'suit box' when he saw where they were, greeted by beautiful darkness, stars glowed from far away, the milky way emptiness was strangely comforting, yet terrifying. Dib's breath was caught in his throat, Earth could be seen in the left corner of the windshield, almost shining, breaking the dark color of nothingness with blue and green. he was in space, in a spaceship, with an alien and his robot.
Zim just made his dream come true.
he didn't realize that he walked to the glass, putting his hands on it as he admired the stars, they all reflected on his glasses, on his amber eyes, he felt peace, calmness, and so excitement to seek more.
"Hm, well, if you're done then I need you to sit down," Zim's voice brings him back to reality, he looked behind him at the alien who somehow was holding the suit device, wasn't it in his hands just a second ago? surely he dropped it.
"Do you come here often?..." Dib asked, he walked backwards to his seat, eyes never leaving the eye-candy before him.
"Sometimes." the irken answered, he span his seat to be face to face with the boy, then started to undone some bandages on his upper chest.
Dib didn't know how the device was working but his mind didn't give him space to wonder, only stare far away at nothing but darkness. He saw Zim from the corner of his eye, turning the device on, a needle-looking wire came from its back, the irken symbol glowed red with a buzzing noise, "This may hurt, heh," and before Dib could tell his opinion, Zim attached it right where his heart was, the sharp wire seemed to stab his flesh, going all the way down to his heart, or maybe his lungs; he couldn't care as sharp pain made its way to his body, he yelped and tried to break free, taking unsteady steps backward till he hit the wall, his hand went to the device that kept buzzing on his chest, a small attempt to take it off but no use. "Dib," Zim called for him, standing from his spot and to the human, "You're not having a seizure, right?"
Dib looked at him, no Zim was still the same, noting that nothing began to melt nor did he want to vomit, so he shook his head, afraid that the alien will use one of his needles at him.
"THE MOON, YAY!" Gir screamed, jumping up and down while looking outside, hands in the air.
"We'll land on your moon soon, you don't want to die now, do you?" Zim continued, leaning closely.
"That hurt," Dib murmured to himself, he closed his eyes again, taking a deep breath,
'the moon. alright. that's not weird at all, I need to calm myself, this is my dream...!'
there was no reply from Illness.
When he opened his eyes again, he looked from Zim to the windshield, seeing the moon getting closer, fast. "H- How does this work?..." he managed to ask, trying to forget the pain.
"You're not having a seizure?" Zim asked again, putting a hand on his forehead as if seeing if that was true or not (he saw humans do this on TV with Gir).
"No, I don't think so..." Dib could feel the devise needle in his chest, "How does this work?"
"I'll tell you outside!" Zim replied, eyeing the box before leaning to it closer, he opened it and tapped some commands on a small keyboard, then closed it and took a step back.
Giving a humming noise, metallic wires came out in each side, two to either hand from the boy and two to his legs, when it hit the end of each limp it began to form gloves and boots, all slightly heavy and metallic, something clicked in the device before a bobble took place around his head then disappeared, he felt it do the same to his body; the device clicked again twice, informing that the suit is secured, the glowing symbol blinked twice as well then stayed like before.
Dib blinked, he looked at the fascinating change that happened before him, moving his feet around, a metal on metal was heard as he took three steps while looking at his hands, he was speechless, just staring at it with awe, "You're coming?" Zim asked, somehow made his way to the already open windshield, Gir could be heard screaming outside, he gazed at the offered hand as Zim stood at the edges of the ship, "Don't you wanna see the moon, human?" he teased, snickering but didn't drawback.
the boy took deep breaths, trying to tell himself that he can breathe in space because of an alien spacesuit that was attached to his chest, after a second, he took the alien's hands, realizing how he became suddenly lighter with each step, Zim dragged him, both of their hands locked together, and with that they landed on the moon.
A step that made him almost fall back but thankfully Zim was holding into him, "Turn on your boots gravity, moron." the irken pointed out, looking unimpressed yet he was smirking. Dib reached down, looking at the dark grey boots, there was a button on each side which Dib assumed was for gravity, he clicked it, heard the device hum on his chest before his boots became heavy, he stood again, noting how easy it was now to walk, almost if he was on Earth, yet he could feel his hair moved around slowly, "wow!" the word finally found it way out.
"I promised the moon for Gir, he thinks it's made of cheese," Zim laughed, looking at Gir who was screaming 'THIS DA BEST CHEESE IN MA LIFE!' as loud as possible while he shoved dirt and rocks in his mouth.
"I know you humans need YEARS to be able to go somewhere as pathetic as a moon," Zim rolled his ruby eyes, almost spatting as he said 'humans' "And here you are, zero experience, but still, you're on the moon, that proves how stupid your race is." he let go to walk ahead of them, getting a better view of Earth, Dib followed, noting how Zim also wore metallic gloves and boots that came from his 'PAK' not a suit box. The irken sat, staring bored at the planet, he felt Dib set beside him.
"All fun and games, now let's destroy something!" Zim said all of the sudden, he got out a remote-looking device with several buttons on it, smirking evilly, he presses the red button, eyes turning to Earth just in time for both Dib and Zim to see a Satellite sit on fire, it started shaking before falling, fire shaped into it as it got close to earth, and then fell on a random city with what Dib could imagine be a huge 'BOOM' noise. He wondered for a moment what country that was.
"BYEBYE TEXAS!" Gir, as if answering his thought, screamed loudly, then went back to eat rocks.
Zim sighed like he had done a good job, he leaned a little to the back, smiling proudly at his masterpiece of doom. It wasn't that much interrupting for Dib either, he watched the city from his view, somehow wishing to see what damage happened to it.
some comfortable silence fell on them, Dib drawing random shapes on the moon's surface while staring at the stars, forgetting completely about his question for the device, he looked so calm, almost sleepy; it was until he had another question, "Hey, Zim?" he looked back at the irken who looked back and rose an antenna.
"You said you can't control brains, but you do," He didn't want to sound like accusing the other so he won't leave him in space to die.
Zim seemed confused before it clicked, his antenna twitched, a metallic hand rose to his damaged antenna to play with it, "We don't," he answered, "But I do."
It was now Dib's turn to be confused, "How?"
Zim looked back to Earth, his expression softened before he forced them to be replaced with a smirk, he shifted to take a better view of the human, "I had a fight once," he started, still playing with his antenna, making him look like a girl playing with her hair, "I won of course, but my antenna was snapped out of my head," he flinched and lowered his hand slightly, "They're precious to me, and because I'm an elite, the tallest ordered doctors to fix it," he pointed at his left antenna, at the metallic surface around the bottom, "It's a brain surgery I had, thankfully they put it back together, though I need to keep it connected to my nerves," he frowned, "It still looks broken..." his antenna twitched, then again he forced it with a smirk, "Because of that, I had the ability to play around with my brain nerves!"
Dib stared at him, noting the change of expressions every now and then, the irken was hiding whatever sadness he had.
"So I made my vision work like a brain controller, it works with stupid races, including yours, of course." he chuckled, glancing at Earth as if seeing its people.
"Did you use it on me?" Dib couldn't help but ask.
"Nope!" Zim leaned at him, "You're too smart for me to control your thoughts with just vibrations."
'vibrations? wow...'
"That's why I made the chocker!" brushing a claw on the metallic necklace before glancing at the human who seemed to frown a little, "Aww, it helps you too, not only control you,"
"Help me how?"
"Healing your wounds faster, stronger body, better vision, uh... oh! and I still want to do some updates to it!" He shrugged, smiling at the human.
"Updates?"
Zim nodded, "If you're gonna help me with my game here then I'll need to fix a lot about you human," he poked the boy's stomach, earning a pained hiss from him, "Humans needs to eat ALL the time, so I'll remove that, you won't need to eat for weeks! oh and also sleep, I'm not sure why you sleep, we irkens don't, it's useless. So I'll make you only need two or three hours! that shall be good," he seemed to like talking to himself more than the boy, "Maybe I'll put a communicator too,"
"I wouldn't mind, it's not like I eat or sleep healthy anyway," He shrugged, slightly sad at how normal that sounded.
"Hm, you ARE skinny, do you eat at all? don't you have a- 'parent unit' to feed you?" Zim asked, confused again.
"'parent un-? oh, you mean Dad, I mean- well, he's not around the house that much..." Dib felt tears sneak to his eyes so he immediately tried changing the subject, "You're antenna is going to stay like this?"
Zim shifted in his place, he was almost in the boy's lap by now, "Maybe," he answered, looking to the side, then shrugged, and smiled.
Dib frowned, he shifted his hand to the damaged antenna, wanting to feel its texture, but stopped to take a look at Zim, "Can I?" he asked, not wanting to lose a hand.
The irken hesitated, "It's illegal to touch other irkens antennae." this answer made Dib almost take his hand back before Zim added, "but we're not on irk." he smirked and leaned his head, his antennae rose towards the human who seemed amused. Dib brushed a finger on it first before taking it with two, he blinked as he stroked it, studying its texture, feeling the micro hairs on its bottom, then moved his hand to its edge, down the long straight antenna to the sharp edge, he felt Zim melt in place, the irken shifted to lay down on his stomach on the human's lap, he folded both hands to rest his cheek on them and stared at Earth, "Continue." He ordered in a calm tone, eyelids half-open.
Dib stopped to stare at him, he blushed slightly before smiling, then giggled, "Sure, Master." how foreign this word was, and here he was, saying it as if it was normal.
Zim, liking the feeling, decided to ask Dib for his life story so he won't stop, not like he has a choice anyway, "How did you get sick anyway?" he asked, voice muffled in his arms.
Dib looked to the side, frowning, "It's a stupid story..."
"Zim wanna hear it."
'Did he just used the third-person?'
Dib sighed, "Mom died when I was three, she was a scientist like Dad but not as workaholic as he is," he started, taking another breath, "When she died I decided to find her ghost, at the time I didn't- I wasn't into the paranormal that much, but then I realized that ghost, bigfoot, werewolves all exist, so I wanted to prove it to everyone,
"it didn't turn out the way I wanted. They all called me crazy and stuff, I didn't care at first, but Dad never helped, he also said I was insane and what I see wasn't real." he shifted slightly,
"Dad wasn't that bad, he wasn't supportive but he still wasn't bad. when I got to middle school, all his hope of me 'growing out if it' vanished, he kinda became a little aggressive with his words, but I didn't give up, not yet." Zim glanced back at him, noting how the human's heartbeat increased,
"then... I started hearing voices at night, my head kept hurting me until all of the sudden, all the voices disappeared and turned into one voice, it was a voice in my head that kept screaming agony all the time." he remembered how calm Illness has been in the last hours,
"Then I started seeing everything in a different color, it increased to me seeing things in a different shape; then it all got messed up, I got sick, I started having seizures all the time, everything I saw wasn't real and even if it was I would never be able to tell." another breath, holding his tears, his hands became shaky as they kept stroking,
"Dad noticed, he tried to help, he tried to see everything through, he wanted me to be 'normal'. When nothing helped, when I got to high school, he started acting that much weirder- I guess Dad just gave up on his heir, his son and-... I just- I guess he hated me after this realization. He changed, I don't think he sees me as his son anymore..." Dib moved one hand to rub his eyes, he sucked on a deep breath, noting how shaky he became, he stared at Earth for a moment, forgot himself, didn't move including his hand on the irken's antenna.
Zim shifted to look at him, he will never get human emotions, they're too frustrating and annoying, but he also wanted the calming feeling on his antenna to return so he tried his best to 'comfort' his Dib. "You know your not crazy, so why being sad?" he asked.
"I tried seeing it that way, I really did, but you showed up." Dib looked at him, he moved his hand again down the tip of the antenna, feeling the irken hug his leg.
"Eh?"
Dib giggled, he chocked on it before leaning down, moving the other closer, "You cared enough for me to realize how careless everybody else was..."
Zim flipped his body so he was facing the human as he laid down, Dib was smiling at him, amber eyes met with his magenta ones, Zim kept a blank face, yet his body was melting with every touch, "What about the other one?" he continued to ask questions, seeking the human to endure his blessing touches.
"What other one?"
"The sister-unit you have, Gaz?"
"O- oh..." he looked back to Earth, his face twisted as if he saw her and looked back to Gir who was jumping from a rock to the other, "I don't know... she wasn't bad either, we weren't close before but, she at less never hurt me physically- I even think she cared somehow about me back then, but I guess Dad told her something once in the 10th grade and she just- changed, she didn't only dislike me, but hated me as well..." he closed his eyes, "But-... I don't think I blame her..."
"why?" Zim asked, almost hissing his question. Wanting to murder the purple-haired girl, No one hurt his Dib!
"She's too young to understand, I'm sure she still likes me..." he knew it was just a lie, he really didn't want to hate his sister, even though he knew she hated him.
"You lie." Zim said immediately, the stroking didn't give him room to make an angry face.
"I know..." Dib whispered, looking away.
"What does the voice say?" Zim almost yawned his question, his position was so comfortable he didn't want to move at all.
"Illness,"
"hm?"
"I call him Illness, though he doesn't like it..."
'where are you? you've been quiet'
when he received no answer, he continued, "I think he's like- another me or something, It's a disorder called DID, I dunno, we kinda talk sometimes, he..." Dib swallowed, he knew he had to say it now, "he can take control of my body at times, you'll know him if he did, he's like a different person,"
"...w'at 's he lik'?" Zim's eyes were half opened, but he could still hear the human.
"Bloodthirsty." Dib answered easily, "He's enjoying hurting others, including me..." his wrist start itching somehow.
Zim cuddled closer, "t'll him I'm th' one 'n cont'ol..." everything started to get dark and blurry, the comforting sleep calling for him, "Zim can only h'rt yo'..." he mumbled lastly, body becoming heavy as breath got even, he was already asleep.
Dib blushed slightly, his hand slowed as he looked at the sleeping alien on his lap, didn't he say irken didn't need sleep? Was what he'd done too comfortable for the alien? Maybe they can sleep but don't really need it. Sighing, he made a mental note to ask how the hell they could talk in space, oh, and maybe thank him for listening...
Been talking about me?
'Illness?'
You know I hate that name.
'it's a name at less'
Hm.
'Where were you?'
In your head, it's not like I can leave.
'You've been quiet...'
Missed me?
'...'
Aw, I'll take that as a no.
'Why were you quiet?'
Thinking.
'Of what?'
A lot.
'Tell me.'
moron, just thinking if we will have to hurt your Dad and Gaz,
'Oh, so that's why they've been in my mind for a while now...'
I don't care if I have to hurt them.
'...'
Dib.
'i know, I don't think I care too...'
Look at what you have.
'Huh?'
There's Zim, the alien, in your lap, cuddling with you and listening to you bubbling about how shitty your life is, you always wanted this, why need your 'family'? It's not like they'll ever give you such comfort.
'you're... right...'
hm.
Dib stopped his hand, already feeling tired as well, he watched as Zim's chest rose and fell slowly, the irken's hands were around his stomach, holding into him tightly, his legs curled up beside the boy's leg, the PAK hummed slightly against his legs.
'You sound mad'
I am not.
'So?'
Just enjoying the fact that Liam is dead, got eaten by a... shark, heh.
'That was funny to watch, I can't lie'
sure.
the boy's eyes slid shut, he moved behind enough so his back was against a huge rock, resting on it as he breathed slowly.
I still wanna kill you.
Dib took a breath to hold his gasp, he wasn't surprised but rather forgot about it, after he relaxed again, he opened his eyes and gazed at the alien, "I know..." he answered Illness loudly.
he remembers it began with 'i'm gonna hurt you.' and then Illness would force him to cut or hurt himself, if not him, then someone else, an animal usually. It was like this for years, till Dib began cutting even without the other's force, it became almost a sick habit, and he hated himself for it.
But he couldn't stop.
He knew it.
and he hated it.
then...
before Zim show up for a few months, it got deeper, Illness kept repeating 'i'm gonna kill you' every time he got the chance, and Dib knew it's going to look like a suicide.
His cuts became deeper, in dangerous and sensitive places, carelessly cutting in there, maybe he'll cut a nerve and bleed to death; Illness some times take control at wrong times and places, if he was crossing the road, then Illness would stop in the middle, smirking as he keeps hearing the boy's scream for help, but no one will hear him. Luckily someone will push him off the road to the sidewalk, yelling 'be careful kid!'
But it seemed like Illness paused his plan for a while, waiting to have all the kill-fun before killing the body owner, Dib.
Darkness started to invade his sight, making the stars look like a mess of light, Gir had been quiet too, or maybe he was too far away to be heard, he didn't know, and couldn't care, his body demanding rest, his chest seemed to hurt now, reminding him of his bruises, at less they're healing.
he hugged the irken's body closer, eyes heavily closed, he no longer could feel anything, his mind shut it all off now.
He'll take any rest he needed.
END OF CHAPTER NINE!
