Consequence of the Prophecy

Chapter 1: Voldemort's Plan and Revenge

"So… we meet again, Lucius," Voldemort sneered.

"Yes, we meet again, My Lord. So, what have you called me personally for?" Lucius Malfoy replied.

"Ah. You see, you have failed my mission, Lucius. And when you fail, there is a thing called… punishment. Crucio!"

As Lucius Malfoy wringed in pain for a minute, Voldemort thought about the plan he had, and whether he assigned it to the right person. No, he was. He had to believe.

"Get up, Lucius. This is not all I want to talk to you about. You see, I have an assignment for a particular son of yours, Lucius." Voldemort said.

"My son? No way, My Lord. Give me the job, please, but not my son!" Lucius was begging now.

"No, Lucius. As much as I would like you to try to redeem yourself, this is a task for Draco. Now, listen carefully."

"But how do I contact him, My Lord? He's in school!"

"LISTEN CAREFULLY!"

Lucius cowered back and listened.

"Good. So, the task I want Draco to do is… Weaken Harry Potter and his friends."

"Which friends precisely, My Lord?"

"Good question, Lucius. You've actually been sensible for once. The ones which followed our lucky Mr. Potter to the Department of Mysteries, Lucius."

"Yes, My Lord."

"Any other sensible questions?"

"No, My Lord."

"Then you are dismissed. Oh, and take this. It might actually help your family to get some credit for once, through the next generation."

'99 Ways to Weaken your Enemies' Lucius wasn't going to question its authenticity. "Thank you, My Lord. You are most generous."

"Go now, before I decide to hit you with another bout of Cruciatus."

Lucius left the Death Eater headquarters hurriedly. He Disapparated, before entering Malfoy Manor, quickly wrote some mail to Draco and sent it off by owl with the leather-bound book. "Draco has to succeed to praise the Dark Lord," he thought.

Scene switch

Draco received his father's mail in the morning. He instantly plotted how to weaken Potter, Granger, Longbottom, Lovegood and the two Weasleys in one shot. "Has to be secretly," he thought, "otherwise they're going to report me and I will fail." Draco left that for now, stowing the book in the dorm before hurrying down for lessons.

That night, Draco stayed up late, flipping through page after page of the thick book filled with curses, charms and incantations. He flipped through each page carefully, studying the charm before moving on each time. Honestly, he also wanted something to humiliate Potter and his mates just as much as he wanted to weaken them. Just when he thought he had to think of one himself, he found it. #92: The Gender-Bender Charm. This charm is used on others, mostly unwanted by the victim but sometimes wanted and performed by healers for those who feel uncomfortable in their current state. "Well, Potter does fall in that bracket," Draco chuckled. All you need to do, the book read, is to picture the person or people you want to change in your mind, wave your wand like you do for the charm 'Wingardium Leviosa' and chant 'Transfigurino Femilia' for a boy to girl transformation, 'Transfigurino Malenia' for a female to male transformation, and 'Transfigurino Genderamaia' for changing multiple people's gender. Also, it will only take effect when the person or people is or are sleeping, so it's not a good charm or curse for duels.

"Well, all too easy," Draco thought, "just do the incantation and so be it." He pictures five annoying Gryffindor faces in his head and one just as annoying Ravenclaw face in it. He muttered, "Transfigurino Genderamaia" before he became victim to exhaustion and fell asleep.
