"Shit."

George swore as soon as they touched the ground. Fred and George had landed like planned in Hogsmeade village. Lee Jordon had been waiting for them with their shrunken trunks before quickly disappearing back towards the school. George never even got to ask him if Harriet made it out, he looked towards the castle and he could just make out the Hogwarts from where he stood. The decision to leave school had been a long time coming. The way in which they had left would go down in Hogwarts History. They thought it all out, it had been funny to leave in such a haste, the adrenaline rush and they had done what they needed to provide Harriet with, her much-needed distraction. But now George had left her alone. Had left her to suffer the consequences alone.

"Yep, our mother is going to kill us."

"Shit hadn't thought of that."

"What are you so worried about then?"

"Harriet," George replied, still looking at the castle in the distance worryingly.

"She's made of tough stuff, Georgie. She'll be fine. Lee and Angelina are there. They'll look out for her." Fred said. "We've got bigger things to deal with."

Right their mother.

"What had you been thinking?"

Molly Weasley cornered them on the day in which they had intended to open their shop.

"Leaving education like that? How could you? What do you intend to do with yourselves?" She said.

"Run a joke shop."

"And how are you going to do that? Without any money?"

"We have the money mum, brought the shop outright it's in Diagon."

"But how? what have you both been up to to get that kind of money? Better have not been anything-"

"Harriet." George blurted out her name before he could stop himself. This was not how he envisioned telling their mother about how they had got the money. "She gave us her winnings from the Triwizard Tournament."

"She did what?" Molly Weasley looked flabbergasted. "You should have refused. You'll have to give the money back."

"Couldn't refuse, Harriet had us at wand point, " Fred muttered. "And we've spent the money - as Harriet told us to do to - on the shop. Said people could do with a few laughs. Think that's why Georgie starting crushing on her, to be honest. Harriet doesn't expect the money back anyhow - and she and Georgie are dating -"

George cringed as soon as the statement left his brother's lips. His mother stared at him stunned. She took a breath, blinking in the information.

"You're dating Harriet?"

George couldn't seem to find the words so he merely nodded.

"Oh, Georgie. That's great news."

Molly Weasley looked teary-eyed. That was the moment their father arrived, he took one look at his wife and asked, "What's the matter love?"

"Nothing's the matter. I'm happy."

"Oh, I thought you were going to talk to the boys about their -"

"Georgie's dating Harriet," Fred said once more giving George an unapologetic shrug.

"You know telling mum about my relationship with Harriet is not going to keep her quiet forever. She's bound to be here in a couple of days, giving us another piece of her mind."

"At least our stuff is out now." Fred said, "And by the time mum comes around the shop will be open and we should be heaving with owl orders and hopefully lots of customers. She'll see that we are so successful that she simply can't be mad at us anymore."

"No, we just have to deal with the witch who held us at wand point last year."

"Said witch also taught us how to defend ourselves this year," Fred pointed out.

"Still don't like those odds," George grumbled.

"Half the school probably knows you're dating Harriet." Fred sighed, "Ginny figured it a day after I did. And Hermione walked down the stairs to meet Harriet one night - because she was worried about her being so late back and saw you both. She had Ron with her so he knows -"

"So everyone knows," George said. Had he been that oblivious to his surroundings, too wrapped up in his new relationship to care about the rest of the world.

Fred nodded. "Everyone knows, it wasn't hard to figure out not with you hexing guys that would checkout Harriet left-right and bloody center."

"Harriet's not said anything."

"That's because you two, only have eyes for each other." Fred mutter. "And Ron, Hermione, and Ginny are not daft. They're not going to say anything to Harriet, are they? Not when she is so private about personal matters."
