"Uhh..." Kento said unintelligibly as Gojo suddenly found his voice and blurted out in an oddly deranged sounding tone as a gleeful grin curved his lips.

"Are you a god?"

Ichigo gave the lunatic a bored look. But didn't seem startled by the question. Which was...interesting to say the least. Especially since many Jujutsu sorcerer's had theorized for thousands of years that only a god would be able to truly destroy all of Sukuna's fingers and thereby erase the King of Curses from the earth completely.

And since no one else had ever managed it, especially their brightest, most brilliant, or their most powerful- then that could only mean that Yuji's mom was a god. Though how she could be an actual god and be in human form would take some looking into.

Despite the fact that Kento's mind was already going over some details from several legends and even some folk lore that he'd either read or heard of where gods took human form for one reason or another.

"No. I told you, I'm a priestess."

"Yeah, we both know that that's not true." Gojo said, still grinning.

His expression was beginning to make Kento nervous. Especially since it kind of reminded him of a kid's expression when they were let loose in a candy store. It was that scary combination of overjoyed, gluttonous, and utterly greedy.

Gojo was a lot of things.

Powerful, irresponsible at times, an asshole, immature for his age, arrogant- and the man was so damned greedy for power that it was shocking considering how much power he already wielded.

At times he tended to remind Kento of a dragon coveting treasure with that singlemindedness. And after the woman's little demonstration...she had just found herself inescapably locked in Gojo's sights.

Not only that, but Yuji's precarious situation had just escalated considerably.

The second that the school's higher ups heard about the woman and what she could do- everyone would be vying to get their hands on her. Even the noble clans would attempt to take her. Either to force her to marry within the clan to beget new, more powerful heirs or-

He suddenly swore, colorfully.

Which had the woman looking at him in puzzlement while Gojo practically crawled onto the coffee table. Ignoring the fact that he had just knocked his tea cup off of it and spilled it and was also dangerously close to doing the same to the woman's.

"Be serious, you're actually a god aren't you?" The white haired man giggled. "Or are you a celestial maiden? Or maybe your an angel-"

The woman scoffed at the word 'angel' as if the very thought was insulting.

"Bitch please, I curse too much to be anything that pure." She said, her tone dripping with sarcasm as she reached out and quickly grabbed her tea cup to save it from being knocked over.

Kento would concede that she may have had a point there. But then again, didn't the angel's in the TV show Supernatural curse? Maybe she was a fallen angel instead? Like Castiel?

No! Maybe she was a little bit of a devil, like Crowely? Wait! Why was he using a fictional TV show as a reference here?

Either way, the fact that she had enough power to destroy one of Sukuna's fingers without breaking so much as a sweat was nothing short of insane. Normal people didn't have such power. Neither did a lot of Jujutsu sorcerer's.

In fact, as far as he knew even Gojo didn't have that kind of power. And he was supposed to be the strongest Jujutsu sorcerer in generations. Yet even he hadn't been able to do what Yuji's mom had.

Honestly it spoke volumes.

In terms of both power and ability. Both of which now made the woman in invaluable to their cause and much, much more.

Sighing, he reached out and grabbed Gojo by the back of his shirt and yanked him away from her. Even though she'd had a foot firmly placed on the man's face, and had been pushing his head back since he'd refused to move back out of her personal space on his own.

Besides, he didn't want to have to help get rid of the man's body once the woman decided to actually kill him. And from the irked look that she had on her face, that was exactly what was about to happen.

Dropping Gojo unceremoniously onto the floor, he ignored the man's whining in lieu of getting the woman out of there before his friend got them both killed.

"Miss, would you please come with me? I'll take you to your room for the night."

"Oh, sure." She said almost absently before then setting her tea cup back on the coffee table and then standing.

Kento found it funny that she eyed Gojo as if she were preparing herself to have him attach himself to her leg as she stepped around the other man almost cautiously and then moved after him to the door.

Once out in the hallway, Kento chuckled as she gave an audible sigh of relief and let her shoulders droop a little bit before muttering, "That guy is nuts."

"Yes, he certainly can be." He said as he started walking. She fell into step beside him easily.

She was quiet. Much quieter than he had expected her to be after their brief introduction earlier. The way that she moved was odd too. She made absolutely no sound whatsoever as she walked. He couldn't hear the rustling of her clothing or even the soft taping of her small boot heels against the floor.

How strange.

Clearing his throat he took a moment to think before asking curiously, "So, how long have you lived in Tokyo?"

"Since I was eighteen. So about seven years."

"You moved here as soon as you graduated high school?"

"Yuji needed me. So I didn't feel that I should waste any time."

"I see. And how long have you known your son?" He asked hoping to get some more information on her.

"Since I was thirteen."

"Ah, that explains things a bit. How'd you get to know him?"

"I used to get into mischief back home," Of course Kento knew enough about kids, teens, and adolescent's to know that the word mischief usually translated into trouble. "And there were a few occasions that my dad felt it was necessary to send me away. To keep me out of trouble and stuff. So when Yuji's grandpa reached out to us, he kind of jumped at the chance to both send someone to meet them and unload me on them."

"You're father sounds like a character."

"Yeah... He's interesting. But also a jerk."

He hummed. "Why exactly did he need you back home? I know that you said that he was from a noble family, and was passing his title and other things to you but-"

"He's leaving the title and everything that goes with it behind and planning to leave the country for good."

"Oh? I can't imagine that his family is very happy about that."

"His sister and brother don't mind at all actually," He looked at her for a second, his expression slightly interested as she went on to explain. "He's sort of left the clan already to marry my mom years ago anyways. But everything was forgiven in recent years and he and his siblings have patched things up nicely. So they didn't mind so much when he told them that he was planning to leave the country, the title and them. I've met the two and been accepted as his heir. So his sister practically tossed him out the door and dragged me off to start educating me on how to be a noble woman."

"How'd that go?"

"I had to escape out the window when she tried to dress me in pretty kimono's. Thank god I have some good friends who don't mind taking the blame for my escape."

His lips twitched a little bit in amusement before saying. "You threw your friends to the wolves."

"Yeah I did." She said with an unrepentant grin.

She sounded so damned proud of herself that he couldn't help but laugh a little bit. Especially since she sounded a lot like Yuji when she talked about her father.

Finally they reached their destination, and Kento reached out and pushed the door in front of them open.

In truth, he hadn't really known where she could stay for the night. And since he still had a room that he sometimes tended to use whenever he was at the school for one reason or another- then he had decided to let her stay there for the time being.

Technically speaking, it was comfortable enough to suit a one night sleepover. And it also had food, drinks, and clean clothing that she could use as well as a washer and drier.

And since he was already planning to crash with Gojo. It really wasn't as if it bothered him any to have her stay there for now. Especially since he'd be sleeping elsewhere.

"Here you are. You can sleep here for tonight. There's food and drinks in the fridge. A fully functioning shower, washer and drier. There's some clothing in the bedroom that you can use for the night. They're male, of course. But they'll do in a pinch, as long as you don't mind that fact."

She took a moment to look around the living room-esque area before finally replying. "That's fine. If I make a mess, I'll clean it up before I go to sleep."

"That would be appreciated," He said easily as he watched her step forward into the room. "I'm just going to grab some clothing and my toothbrush-"

"Wait. This is your room?" She asked from where she was standing over by the sofa.

Her head turned towards him so quickly that he could almost swear that he heard her neck and spine pop from it. If not for the fact that she didn't seem hurt or all that bothered by how painful it sounded and likely felt to have her bones pop like that...he might have been worried.

"Yes. It is. But I don't mind you using it since I've got some things to go over with Gojo and will likely be spending the night in his room so that I don't disturb you."

"You're not going to disturb me. And you don't have to sleep in that lunatic's room either. We're both adults, we could share a bed."

He gave her a rueful smile and then joked. "What would your Gojo think if we slept in the same bed?"

"I dunno. But his opinion doesn't count anyways. And he's not my Gojo. He's a weirdo and will likely die at some point in the near future of blunt force trauma." She deadpanned.

He chuckled despite knowing that Gojo would just be crushed to hear her say that about him. Once he sobered up, he politely said, "I thank you for the offer, but it's still probably not a good idea."

"That's a shame. I sometime have trouble sleeping in strange places. And I've been known to like cuddling so that I can sleep." She said it in a teasing manner. So he didn't really know if she was joking or not. But he could certainly understand the appeal of having someone close by to cuddle with in such instances.

Still... "Does Yuji know that you offer to cuddle random strange men?"

"Oooh. Low blow there, man," She said with a amused grin. "I keep shit like that away from my kid. I don't want to give him the wrong impression about anything. Besides, it's just cuddling. I'm not offering sex. I'm an old fashioned girl, after all. I'm saving myself for someone amazing."

"That's good to know." He said as he decided to collect his things.

"If sharing a bed bothers you so much, then I can always sleep on the couch or something. It wouldn't bother me."

"No." He called out from the bedroom as he grabbed a spare change of clothing and then walked into the bathroom and grabbed his toothbrush, deodorant, and after shave.

Tucking everything under his arm, he walked back into the living room area and found her standing there with a stubborn look on her face.

"I could always sleep on the floor then." She offered.

He found it oddly endearing of her to offer to sleep on the floor just to get him to stay. But he still refused. She scowled a little bit and he found himself asking her why she wanted him to stay so badly.

She gave him more than just one reason.

Nightmares for starters.

He hadn't even thought that someone who could destroy Sukuna's finger so easily would have something as mundane as nightmares. But obviously he was wrong there. He made a mental note of the admission and filed it away for later as she went on to tell him that she also disliked the idea of him leaving her in his room. Alone. And without parental supervision to keep her from crossing any boundaries that she wasn't yet aware of.

It was his room, after all. And she was nothing but a guest for the moment.

He could see where she was going with this and flicked her in the forehead to shut her up. It worked. She fell silent rather quickly and scowled at him when he threatened to let Gojo sleep over with her for the night.

After that she practically shoved him out the door and slammed it closed behind him.
