Chi snorted awake as she felt herself being shaked. She was having the most wonderful dream of being a princess in an Arabian palace, lounging in luxury while being fed grapes by her beautiful, scantily-clad, dark haired harem girl.
"Five more minutes," she grumbled, burying her face into the very wonderful pillow, snuggling into it. There was a very loud, very fake throat clearing noise that made her sigh in aggravation and look up...
At a very annoyed Grim Reaper Junior. "Chi," he greeted neutrally, his eyes somehow radiating his displeasure effortlessly.
"Junior, Sir," she stumbled, glancing around at what could have possibly made him upset. Was it the mess? It was just a few paper plates, nothing seemed to be spilled or stained. Had they slept in? No, he made it very clear he didn't care last night. Then what? And where was- "Oh," Chi said with wide eyes, a small blush as she saw that her pillow wasn't a pillow at all.
It was Heaven.
More specifically, it was Mimi's butt, barely covered by her dukes. The dark haired beauty was lying partially covered in blankets and resting on a real pillow, with her long and wondrous hair splayed out like a dark halo.
Chi allowed her brain to shut down and restart as she computed this event. She had just been using Mimi's ass as a pillow for an unknown amount of time. While one of her many fantasies were now fulfilled, she also just realized she had snuggled into these cheeks again after Mimi's guardian had tried to wake her up.
Her hands instantly shot away from Mimi as sat up on her knees, as if she was about to be arrested. She slowly and nervously looked back up at Junior, still looming over her. "So, um, how close am I to an ass kicking now?" Chi asked sheepishly.
"Oh, you're really toeing the finish line," Junior answered with fake casualness. "Get up, get dressed, get ready to go home," he ordered.
"What, already? Mr. Reaper, please, I'm sorry!" Chi pleaded quietly.
"Chi, it's two in the afternoon," Junior explained flatly. "Your mother called and said to drop you off before five."
"Oh. Oh! Wow, we did sleep in," Chi said in surprise. "So, three hours?"
"For you to pack your crap and make yourself presentable for your folks, yeah. Not counting the time it'll take to get there since I've never been to your address before," Junior reminded.
"Right, so, more like two hours at best," Chi realized with a sigh before grimacing. "Please tell me I don't have ketchup in my hair."
"Okay, you don't have ketchup in your hair," Junior answered with a teasing smile.
"I do, don't I?" Chi asked flatly.
"No," Junior answered, suppressing a chuckle. "It's hot sauce."
"Great, wonderful," Chi said with a sigh. "I should probably take a bath."
"Don't close the drain in the tub, it gets stuck," Junior instructed offhandedly.
"Thank you for the warning," Chi said with a sigh as she slouched off to the bathroom.
Junior glanced back down to his ward, wondering what she was dreaming about...
"That's a good girl, Mimi."
Her usual stoic expression was marred by the gleam in her eyes of wonder, adoration, and sheer want. She was kneeling on all fours, like a good pet. Her claws batted at his pants without causing any real damage. She was clothed in something thin, black, and translucent. Her tail gently swished in excitement while the ears on top of her head twitched for every word he uttered and every sound he would give her.
He leaned down, scratching her under the chin. She gasped a meow, purring ecstatically as she leaned into his touch. She licked her lips as she saw and smelled him placing the delicious treat just before her mouth. She groaned in need as she leaned forward, locking her lips around it. She savored the taste, the texture, the feeling...right before she bit into the muffin, chewing it eagerly.
Her master chuckled, petting her cat ears as he fed her from his hand. It wasn't long before she was licking the crumbs from his hands.
Only then did she feel the collar placed on her neck. Her breath grew heavier as a tingle shot through her tail when the symbol of ownership pressed against her jugular, the small weight of the leash swaying back and forth above the ground. She felt a tug and immediately, obediently followed at his heels.
They came to a chair, nice and cozy. He sat down in it, but she sat on the floor, staring longingly up at her master, yet waited for permission. He smiled, and it was like being welcomed home for the first time. He patted his lap as a non-verbal prompt. She instantly crawled up, straddling his lap to get comfortable, her rear against his legs, very little fabric separating their most intimate of areas...
Junior shrugged, just happy that it wasn't a nightmare this time. Though, with the way she was grinding her hips against the air, it was probably a matter of whom rather than what she was dreaming about, but he'd keep his nose out of that one.
Still, he'd probably be doing her a favor by waking her up now instead of letting Chi see this. Humming a tune, he casually walked back into the kitchen for a few seconds before returning- with a glass of water in hand. With ease and calmness that spoke of how often he had done this, he carefully tilted the cup and poured the liquid onto Mimi's face.
The girl immediately began sputtering and thrashing, shooting up in alarm as she looked around with a very shocked and wet face. Junior waited until she stared up at him, and saw the glass of water, before giving her a playful look. "Welcome back to the land of the living."
Mimi just stared before swallowing as her face flushed crimson. She realized she was on her knees in front of Junior after he spilled liquids all over her face- which fit rather too well with her dream.
Junior watched curiously as she didn't give him any dirty looks, merely rising to scurry off with an embarrassed look. "Huh, wonder what that w- oh, shit, Mimi! Chi's-" he stopped, distinctly hearing the door opening. "Whelp, too late."
Meanwhile, Mimi just stared into the bathroom with an eye-twitch, annoyed that she hadn't heard the water running in her half-asleep state.
"Mimi, if you wanted to join me-" Chi stated playfully, at which point Mimi slammed the door shut, loudly and marched back to the living room.
She stared impassively as Junior held out for her a wad of paper towels. "Sorry, we're all out of brain bleach," Junior mock apologized as she took the cleaning supplies and dried herself off. "You alright?" he asked with a head tilt.
Mimi just nodded her head back to the bathroom.
"Toilet?" Junior guessed with a grimace, but only got a headshake. "Shower?" he tried against, furrowing his brow as she nodded. "You don't smell or-" he stopped as her sheer embarrassment finally made sense. "Oh. A "cold" shower," he realized, getting a weak nod. "Well, we got the backyard hose if you really-" Junior started to joke, Mimi turning to do just that. "Don't actually do it, that was a joke!" he called, pulling her on the back of the shirt to make her stop.
Mimi swallowed for a moment, remember dream-pressure on her neck, before turning to give Junior an annoyed look, her thighs rubbing together in a very meaningful way that was more frustrating than lewd. For her at least.
"Wow, that bad," Junior murmured in sympathy. "Look, if you really need to, you can lock your bedroom door and...shit, what even is slang for this? Flick the bean? Pet the cat?" he muttered in concentration as Mimi gave him death glares while she died inside of embarrassment, at least a little. "Buffing the Mu-"
Mimi hissed at him to silence that particular dialogue, making Junior lean back in surprise.
"Wow, wow, I get it!" Junior declared, waving his hands in surrender. They both paused as they hear the water stop. "And that reminds me: It's two in the afternoon, and we're taking Chi back by five. So get cleaned up after her if you want to ride along," he informed, grateful for a reason to change topics.
Mimi glared ineffectively before heading off to her room to gather a change of clothes- but not before throwing the wadded ball of paper towels at Junior, bouncing off his face.
He just barely caught it in his hand instead of it rolling off his fingers. "I deserved that," Junior accepted with a head shake, throwing the ball into a trash can from across the room- and missing, not even hitting the rim. "Dammit."
A few minutes later, Chi emerged with a new set of clothes and hair that was still damp. "Well, that was eventful," Chi remarked civilly.
"Welcome to our lives," Junior remarked, sitting in a chair. "So, in a horrible attempt to make small talk, are you going on the field trip or not?"
"You mean to the bike museum?" Chi asked with an eye roll.
"You do know that Mimi loves bikes, right?" Junior asked dryly.
"I...wait, she does?" Chi asked in surprise, looking thoughtful. "That explains a few things. I just thought she was interested in being a mechanic or engineer someday."
Junior opened his mouth before closing it in contemplation. "Okay, granted, that's a logical conclusion and might actually be true," Junior conceded.
"But, seriously, bikes? In general? Cause I usually only find her looking up on old motorcycles," Chi asked with interest.
"She loves anything that has one-to-three wheels-BHA! And no, that number pun wasn't intentional!" Junior snorted, Chi doing likewise while trying to cover it up. "But yeah, Mimi actually used to have the whole back shed filled with bike parts that she would try and assemble into her own creation," Junior explained.
"That sounds amazi- wait, used to? What happened?" Chi asked with a raised eyebrow. "Did one of her Frankenbikes fall apart with her on them?"
"Franken-oh, I am soooo telling her that one day," Junior stated with a smirk before sighing. "No, nothing like that. Mice got into the shed, and snakes ended up in the hollow bike parts," he explained, letting Chi shiver for a moment. "Yeah, Mimi threw everything out the day after I nearly got bit. I thought about stopping her, buuuut we need to fix up that shed better before we try anything like that again."
"That why you let the cat live around here?" Chi asked curiously.
"Hell no, that asshole came with this place. It's too stubborn to leave and I'd feel like an ass calling animal control on a cat just for lurking about," Junior remarked. "Now, if it starts leaving mountains in the yard, then we will have a problem."
"That sounds...fair, I guess," Chi answered with a sweat-drop at the description, before they fell into idle silence until Mimi finished her own self-cleaning.
One group effort to clean up the front room later, and the group was preparing to leave. "Okay, Chi, are you sure this is everything you had in your overpacked pack?" Junior asked, half-joking and half-serious.
"I think so. I'll call if anything is missing," Chi answered without much care. "Or, you know, buy another one."
"Rich people problems," Junior murmured in amusement. " Anyway, we got over an hour and a half, so we have time for one snack stop before we take Chi home. So, what do we want? Ice cream, fast food?"
"Can we go to the mall?" Chi requested, getting strange looks from them both. "What? There's a place that sells great elephant ears!" she defended.
Junior and Mimi shared a look. "I could go for a bite of cinnamon," he conceded, Mimi nodding in agreement. "Okay, everyone out and in the car. Chi, you get shotgun."
"I do?" Chi asked in surprise. "Why?"
"So I can keep an eye on you," Junior answered pointedly, Chi stiffening as she recalled the position she had woken up in.
Mimi gave her friend a suspicious look, but didn't try to pry specifics from either person.
The car ride was pleasantly boring, the two teenagers staring out the windows as the traffic went on by.
"This is the place, right?" Junior asked as they parked in a large lot that was, mercifully, not overcrowded.
"Yep, Mag Mell Mall, home of the BeelzaDough!" Chi confirmed, already getting out of the car.
"How much do you think her parents will bitch if we're late because of this?" Junior asked, looking over his shoulder at Mimi, who shrugged to show her lack of answer before they followed after the rich girl.
Once they were in the mall, it was a much further walk to the store in question than Junior expected. "You'd think all the fast food stuff would be on the first floor and close to the exits," he commented without really complaining, watching to make sure Chi's walk with Mimi remained wholesome.
Which, thankfully, didn't seem to be a problem this time around. It was nice to see the two getting along without his AFI, as Mimi called it(Adopted Father Instincts) on high alert. And after Mimi pulled Chi away from a music store, and Junior pulled Mimi away from a bike sale, they finally arrived at BeelzaDough. Fifteen dollars later, and they were all munching on their own piece of fried dough.
"Okay, this was not a waste of time or money," Junior admitted, pleasantly enjoying the confection.
"Told you, BeelzaDough makes great stuff," Chi said with a smug look, Mimi just humming her agreement as they wandered back to the escalators, enjoying the view. "So...see anything you like down there, Mr. Reaper?" Chi asked with a nervous yet playful grin.
Junior raised an eyebrow at the girl. "Are you attempting to have a guy-moment with me by checking out women at the mall?" Junior asked skeptically.
"I'm trying to mutually enjoy looking at beautiful women with someone that I believe is attracted to them," Chi answered, taking a rather forceful bite of her food. "I...don't get any flak for liking girls at home or anything, but I don't exactly have a lot of friends to talk about this with," she explained awkwardly. "Just...I guess I was wondering what someone else's tastes are? I dunno."
Junior looked between Chi and Mimi, his ward giving a shrug. If it kept her claws off Mimi by aiming her eyes elsewhere..."Well, there's a red head over by the claw game."
Chi followed his gaze before smirking. "Not bad, but I think I like the dark haired sister better."
"You have a thing for black hair, don't you?" Junior asked with a raised eyebrow.
"Well, yes, but I never knew anyone besides me with red hair for the longest time, so thinking about redheads like that feels a bit...weird," Chi explained offhandedly.
"Sounds like me with any girl that dyes their hair blue," Junior mused idly, getting curious looks which he ignored. "Speaking of redheads, how about the blonde one next to the ginger in a lab coat?"
"Oh, now she is nice! Though, I'm sure you just noticed the double-ds," Chi accused halfheartedly.
"I plead the fifth," Junior remarked, with a hum before blinking. "Well, I think I just won. Lady in a dress on the second floor, across the way."
Chi followed his gaze and suddenly paled. "Oh geez."
"Yeah, I know. That has got to be a supermodel or something. Usually don't go for short hair, but she makes it work," Junior remarked observingly, before someone tugged at his shirt. "Hmm?" he looked down to Mimi, who motion to Chi, head buried in her hands. "...Oh, you have got to be kidding me. Is that your mother?" Junior asked in annoyance, getting a silent nod. "And the universe provides its own entertainment."
"What is she even doing here?" Chi muttered as she fought off the embarrassment.
"Not my business, but she is here, as are we. So, let's see if she wants to take you home from here or us to drop you off," Junior suggested.
"Sure, fine, just don't tell her about this, please?" Chi requested with a sigh.
"I'm not suicidal," Junior assured flatly.
End of Chapter
There you all go, another little slice of life in this weird little world I made of Grim Tales. And yeah, Chi has it bad for Mimi who has it bad for Junior. And now enter Ikra next chapter! Non-lewdly, probably.
