A series of one-shots about Georg and Maria’s relationship based on the song “Maybe I’m Amazed” by Paul McCartney.

"Dear Reader: this author is absolutely teeming with news to share and scandals to spread. Where does one even begin?" Georg, Maria, and the Austrian nobility at large must navigate Vienna's ball season amid the publishings of a ruthless gossip author. Regency Era AU.

"Do not talk unless you are told to talk. Is that clear?" Georg simply stared at her for a moment, until he finally replied. "Yes, Mistress." Maria felt her breath hitched in her throat. Her employees always call her Mistress, they always do, but there is something about his smooth baritone voice that makes her feel things. AU/Non-canon compliant.

One small change can alter the course of history. Elsa misses the Laendler and so Maria doesn't realise her feelings for the Captain.

"Do you know when I first started loving you?" How could she? It was a ridiculous question. He hadn't realised himself. It had taken him by surprise, impacted him like little else. Looking back, even now, it was impossible to understand. Her appearance had been one of those moments. Their moment. A Black Swan moment.

When Georg von Trapp's girlfriend, Maria is kidnapped, he must find Maria and find out who kidnapped Maria.

After their rather explosive encounter with her father, Maria and Georg are finally free and fully prepared to start their new life together. The two of them believe that from this moment on it will be happily ever after, but soon a revelation is made which forces Maria to see her husband in a new light. Will she ever be able to forgive him? Will their love survive? Let's see...

"Oh my dear there is no manual for marriage. You will find in time however that you and the Captain will create your own and believe me, if you were to write it down, you would want to re-read it forever." Maria finds that being in love with a sea captain brings discovery, and whilst there was much to learn about him, she ends up learning more about herself than she ever imagined.

"She had only won a battle during the thunderstorm. She hadn't won the war." My take on what if the von Trapp kids hadn't warmed up to Maria quite so quickly.

Series of one shots. Maria and Georg's restless nights and weathering storms together.

"He could feel the sweat rolling down the back of his neck. Georg lifted his face up to the sky, willing a meager little cloud to position itself in the path of the sun's violent rays. The creases between his brows were deep. His nostrils flared in and out with his labored breathing. God, it was hot." In the midst of a cruel summer heatwave, tempers flare and passions are ignited.

This is a short story I wrote in response to a request on the great Sound-of-Music-fics forum, musing on what might have happened if Maria had not returned to the Abbey...

"Fraulein, I think it's clear by now you can't help but attract my attention, and I can't help but notice you." She gave him a sad little smile. "The trouble is Captain, I don't want to be noticed by people like you." [A/U]

"Hoarders," she whispered under her breath as she scanned the barcodes of the mountain of items before her. She almost rolled her eyes – there were many things she could tolerate, but she just didn't understand hoarders. "Apparently, catering for the needs of seven children make me appear like a hoarder," he visibly rolled his eyes. Seven children? Quarantine Modern A/U!

After the rowboat tipped, everything changed between Maria and the Captain. Something strong kept pulling them together, even though they refused to fall in love.
