Well... I don't have much to say besides that, so let's begin!
Let's get it!
"He's scary… I'm terrified, Midoriya! I'm so terrified! What am I even doing here?! Why did I even agree to come to this place?!"
"Come on Mineta-kun… this is 『The World』! Italy's no.1 hero! Not only we are able to learn from Japan's no.1 hero 『All Might』 but now him too…! UA is amazing! To have such connections!"
"I don't know about this though…" Muttered Jiro as she nervously twirled her finger on one of her earphone jacks. "Isn't he supposed to be a gangster too?"
"Yeah about that…" Spoke Midoriya as his energy died down. "It's… it's weird. I don't even know how it works. I searched up everything about him after he came to Japan and technically he's a part-businessman although we know that's not 100% true. But… I have to admit, there were a lot of shady stuff about him in the internet"
"B-but hey! On the bright side, we'll be able to learn about becoming a hero from a different perspective!" Smiled Ochako as she pressed her hands together. But due to her trembling fingers and lips, Izuku knew that she was nervous too.
"I agree with Ochako-san." Spoke Iida sincerely. "Although he might not be the best role model for a teacher and a hero, there are many things to learn from him. Surely a person like him would have great experience with the underworld and how to counter such dangerous foes from there!"
Suddenly, the door to the classroom opened with a loud sound and all the chattering instantly stopped Italy's no.1 hero, along with his only sidekick 『Epitaph』 came in.
Currently, there were no chairs in the classroom so everybody was standing up in their cheap gym clothes like in the instructions. Not only were students from class 1-A here, but everybody from 1-B was in here too and they all stared at the man: some awed, some intimidated, some skeptical, and some terrified.
Then, he took a step forward and everybody instinctively almost took a step back. It was hard, so hard to simply stay glued to the floor while a potential killer with that ominous aura was standing in front of them. If 『All Might』 was the symbol of peace and light that brought comfort to the civilians, 『The World』 was the complete opposite. He was a villain to all villains, striking fear in their hearts as he tread upon their dead corpses with a river of blood following at his heels. He was a nightmare incarnate to all villains according to articles and analyses about him. He was the devil, he was th—
"Signorina, may I have the pleasure of knowing your name?"

Wut?
"*ribbit*?" Too flustered and too unprepared, Asui Tsuyu was caught off guard by the handsome blonde italian as he smiled warmly at the girl that all she could do was to croak.
"A-Asui Tsuyu" Stuttered Asui, not quite sure where this was going.
"Could I take you on a date this saturday, signorina? I know a well refined restau— yes, what is it 『Epitaph』?" Spoke 『The World』 as he addressed the pink haired girl who was frantically tugging on his right sleeve.
"Boss, she's 15" Whispered the pink haired girl, but unfortunately it was loud enough for the others to listen.
"..."
'He didn't know that?!' Screamed everybody in their heads.
"Haha… forgive me signorina, I thought you were 16"
"Boss, the legal age in Japan is 18…!" Again, everybody heard what she said.
"..."
'HE DIDN'T KNOW THAT TOO?!' Screamed everybody in their heads once again. However, unlike everybody who was shocked by Italy's no.1 hero making a move on an underaged girl, Asui now had a big blush on her face as she developed sudden interest in her sneakers. Even with her monotonous expression, it was evident that she was flustered. Although this was the first time a person from the opposite gender asked her out, she didn't feel quite happy. Confusion was what the little frog-girl was feeling, but she would sort these feelings out within a few days.
"Ahem, I'm quite sorry about that" Spoke 『The World』 as he at least had the decency to look ashamed.
"Anyways… I'm impressed! All the students in the hero department had volunteered and have actually come to this extracurricular class! Give yourselves a good pat on your back!"
Midoriya smiled. He might look scary and intimidating on television, but in real life he didn't seem that bad! Maybe this class wouldn't be as scary as—
"For taking a brave bold step into hell"
Those words wiped away every smile in the room.
"Before we actually start our training… I have to see what you are capable of. That is why, every student in this room and I are going to hav 1, today, right now, here. Starting with you frenchie"
"Wh-what?!" Spluttered Aoyama as his character seemed to break. "B-but—"
"Class 1-A, class no.1. Thus, you're number one. Follow me to the room and try your best to stay alive"
Without further talking, Aoyama, with a sweaty and pale face followed 『The World』 inside the room of doom.
Midoriya was never more relieved to have his class number as number 18.
When Aoyama first came back Iida started to doubt his decision of coming here. Bruised and battered, his classmate looked as if he were in a state of shock as he clutched his stomach in pain.
He wouldn't tell anybody what happened in the room as he frantically rushed to the restroom.
When Ashido came out, Iida thought he was seeing a different person. The bubbly and cheery girl was gone and all there was left was a husk. It had been only a minute since Ashido went into the room and came out.
When Asui went in, Iida was very worried. Worried for Asui of course, since the hero(?) made it clear that he was interested in Asui in a sexual manner, but he was also worried that Asui might get some unequal advantages since she had 『The World』's affection.
He was dead wrong as 『The World』 dragged Asui's unconscious state by her hair. A few protests were made by many students, Iida included, but a cold glare was all it took for everybody to shut up.
Now, it was Iida's turn and he was shaking with… fear and excitement. No matter how monstrous this man was, he was still Italy's no.1 and Iida respected him for that as much as he believed it was wrong from a moral perspective. Moreover, he had saved them from the villains in USJ so Iida was reluctantly grateful for that. So, Iida decided to trust in the man, until he showed his true colors.
Now, Iida was in the room, a room that had little splatters of blood here and there but relatively clean. That was probably because Iida's class number happened to be 4.
"Let's cut straight to the chase" Spoke 『The World』 as he stretched his body. "Fight me, but throw everything you have at me. Show me your trump card, your best technique, and such. Show me your… plus ultra"
Even when 『The World』 didn't finish his sentence, Iida knew that if he didn't make a move right then, if he didn't try his best to fight back this monster, he wouldn't have any chance of winning. It was a primal instinct that had suddenly and forcefully awakened by the sudden fear and intimidation by 『The World』, and because of that Iida didn't hesitate as he immediately launched his attack.
He was shocked when his leg actually made contact with 『The World』's neck as cracking sounds were heard. Surely, surely he had thought that Italy's no.1 hero would dodge such an attack even when his kick was in the speed that easily went past 100km/h. Surely he would have some experience in dealing with high speed—
"Kurkgh… Nice kick engine kid… Great speed, 84 out of… 100. Nice power… 60 out of 100, nice balance…"
A cold tremor ran down Iida's spine as he immediately distanced himself from the man with the broken neck, ignoring his evaluation of his attack. It just seemed… wrong to have a man talking when their head was hanging loosely on their crooked neck with blood trickling from the corner of their lips. But with the visually haunting sight, 『The World』's voice sounded distorted like a bad organic AM radio. Iida felt like throwing up. If it weren't for the quirk [Regeneration], he might as well have committed murder, and to even think of the possibility made Iida disgusted more than ever.
"Congratulations Iida!" Croaked the man, smiling widely as his hands found their way to his wrongly positioned head as they forced it back to its original place. "Out of the other three students who were in this room, you're the best in offense!"
"Th-thank you sensei…" Whispered Iida as he barely managed to keep his lunch in his stomach.
"However… you stopped"
"E-excuse me?" Stuttered Iida, as 『The World』's unwavering stare pierced through the young boy.
"You should know what my quirks are. Thus, it's very safe to assume that I wouldn't die so easily, especially by a young inexperienced hatchling as yourself" Continued 『The World』 as he began striding towards Iida who took a nervous step back. "When I allowed your feet to make contact with my neck, you should've kept on going with your assault. But you let disgust and fear take over your mind and waste such a good opportunity, which is understandable considering you haven't seen the extent of human cruelty or brutality"
"... now with that out of the way, I'll be testing your defenses"
Iida tensed the second he heard the words, but when he blinked absentmindedly he was shocked to see 『The World』 already only a few meters away from him. Startled by the sudden change of position of the pro-hero, Iida blinked once more, and when he did, he caught a crimson streak making its way towards his back out of the corner of his eye.
"Slow for someone so fast…"
'WHAT?!'
All it took was two blinks. Two blinks and 『The World』 was standing behind him, his hand grabbing Iida's head with a vice grip that Iida couldn't seem to break out.
'I thought…! I thought he only had [Blood Control] and [Regeneration]...! How can he be as fast as me if he only has those two…?!'
"Slow reaction time. But that's because you lack experience" Spoke 『The World』 one more time as he yanked his arm backwards while kicking Iida's legs, causing him to slip. Now… in midair and falling fast, Iida barely saw the fist that was heading towards—
"Now let's see your endurance and persistence"
Iida blacked out after a few seconds.
"So… a shadow I see… interesting. Very interesting…"
Tokoyami stood still panting. It didn't make any sense. Just because a person has a quirk [Regeneration] doesn't make them immune to pain! How could he still stand there after he stood there defenseless as he accepted the raining blows from himself and [Dark Shadow]?!
"If I were you, I would've gone for the electrical lights in the room" Commented 『The World』 as he flexed his broken fingers while giving a glance at the lights above them. Even with the horrible cracks that were emitted from them, Tokoyami couldn't even catch the pro hero wincing. "After all, darkness is your ally. However, that also means…"
…
…
…
Flicker
…
…
…
What is that…? WHAT IS THAT?!
Tokoyami's mouth dropped open with horror and confusion as 『The World』's right hand caught on fire as it burned.
"Light. Light would be your biggest weakness. Tokoyami-kun, don't tell me you haven't made a defense mechanism for such an easy weakness now have you?"
Now… 『The World』 was set on fire as he slowly made his way towards Tokoyami. Small flecks of flame burst out of his flesh as his parsley suit began to melt. But putting that terrifying sight aside, he was absolutely correct. Despite his quirk's glaring weakness, Tokoyami really hadn't come up with countermeasures in situations like this. Perhaps there was a way to fight against enemies whose quirk emits light, but currently Tokoyami's imagination wasn't creative enough to think of one.
With his [Dark Shadow] cowering uselessly upon the flaming figure of 『The World』, Tokoyami simply grit his teeth and yelled in the top of his lungs as he flung himself upon 『The World』 attempting to inflict more damage if possible.
"You get points for persistence. I like that"
"..."
"... I-I know I'm not in the hero department okay!" Yelled Shinso, his face twisted in frustration. "I'm not but… you should've clarified that this lesson was only for—"
"What the hell are you talking about?" Growled 『The World』 as he glared at Sinso who flinched. "If you want to be a goddamn hero, learn to be a goddamn hero! That's why you came here didn't you?!"
"Y-yes?"
"Then shut the fuck up and fight"
"Don't you think you're too hard on them?"
"It's better to have them face reality as soon as possible uncle" I replied dryly, sipping on my coffee.
"You had Kamakiri pierce your abdomen and have your blood splatter all over his body, Tokage wouldn't even talk about what you did in that room, and I've never seen Honenuki so confused and unconfident of his own quirk. That's a goddamn overkill!"
"They all seemed fine"
"Of course they all seem fine when they're all unconscious!" Howled my uncle, pulling his hair out of frustration. "The only ones who weren't affected by your monstrosity were Tetsutetsu and Kendo!"
"You also caused my students a scare" Spoke Aizawa, joining in the conversation while shooting me a distasteful glare.
"Good, they should be"
"And you made a move on one of the female students…"
"I thought she was 16!" I explained quickly, sweating a bit while hastily putting down my cup of coffee and raising my hands up. "Can you blame me for that?!"
"That's Italian standards you sick bastard!" Growled Aizawa as his red dry eyes stared right at me. "Even so, how could you possibly think a relationship between a student and a teacher would be permitted in the first place?!"
"... I… to be honest, I forgot about that part" I spoke sheepishly as I averted eye contact with Aizawa as his eyes blazed with fury and frustration.
Before my uncle and Aizawa attempted to drive my face into the floor, Japan's no.1 hero came to my aid.
"Diego-san… would you like to… eat lunch with me?!"
"Is that a bento?" I said, eyeing the beautifully wrapped lunch box as I simply ignored the two killing intentions coming from the two homeroom teachers. "I would love to"
"Many of my students were confused yesterday"
"Of what?"
"Of their own abilities, of your own abilities, and such… I must say your methods were quite… aggressive"
"Cut to the chase 『All Might』" I answered cheerfully as I took a spoonful of my tiramisu. "Tell me what's on your mind"
"If you harm any of my students, know that I won't stay still like now"
…
…
…
All I could do was to stare sadly at the man.
"When did you become so weak…?"
『All Might』 did a double take at my words, not expecting them to tumble out of my mouth.
"Even from here, my blood that is thinner than a veil is surrounding us. Too small to see and smell for a normal person… but it can pick up a lot of things you know? With that, I can sense your heartbeat, your body temperature, your body that is in incredible amounts of stress… Just… you're a wreck 『All Might』"
The great hero didn't say anything, but instead he started to sweat a bit with his signature smile still stuck on his face, and so I continued on my rambles.
"That got me thinking… about Midoriya"
The man was sweating buckets now, and the proud smile was wavering.
"His… quirk resembles yours a lot… Some may say they're downright identical"
Using the piece of cloth that was used to wrap the bento, 『All Might』 began to wipe his brow that was practically sprouting sweat.
"That got me into thinking… and thinking… and that got me into doing some… research on Midoriya Izuku…"
Now comes the rough breathing as he unconsciously clutches his heart.
"Quirkless… completely quirkless. He was diagnosed as a quirkless person, and we all know that a quirkless person in this sick society is pretty much a death sentence. You can't even dream of becoming a hero in Japan and in many other places if you're quirkless… But then… it turns out that he wasn't quirkless at all. Science, biology, and history… despite every logical analysis that proves he is a quirkless individual, Midoriya Izuku turned out to be a special exception… So…"
Now the poor guy was gnawing on the piece of cloth that he once used to wipe his brow.
"Is Midoriya Izuku your son?"
"BRRRRWHAAAAAaaaaaaaaaaackkk-kkak-kerch! Courgch!"
My eyebrows and my lips curled upwards as the muscular hero suddenly poofed into smoke, replacing Japan's no.1 hero into Japan's weakest man.
…
…
…
He's coughing up blood.
…
…
…
…
…
Shit that's a lot of blood.
"I knew it" I spoke calmly as I took a sip of my coffee from my teacup that was made out of blood. "There was no way such a quirk wouldn't have its downfalls"
"M-Midoriya isn't…!"
"Oh, I know that. DNA results show that Midoriya's biological parents are his legal parents. Besides, there's little chance that he is your son when you two have no physical resemblance" I responded cheekily. "I just said that to see your reaction"
『All Might』's reaction was to cough up more blood and fall backwards from the bench.
"Oh, by the way, I was bluffing about having my blood spread out around us. Even I don't have individual molecular control over my blood yet"
"I… I hate you…" Coughed up Yagi Toshinori, realizing just how much information he gave away from a 'bluff'. "I really do…"
"Everybody does," I replied, smiling down at his downed figure. "Be it villains or heroes or civilians, every party despises me very much"
"Interesting… all of you came despite the misfortunes that you faced a few days ago…" I spoke, amused. "Well… good choice. I will guarantee that the training sessions from now on won't be as terrifying as the last one"
Sighs of relief flooded the room as the little children began to smile once again.
"But please do understand that the level of difficulty of these training sessions may increase"
The smiles ceased pretty much immediately and the anxiety spiked up once again.
"Today's training will focus on your reaction time, which is something I found that many of you severely lack. One little hesitation, one small stop, one tiny pause, and either the hostage is dead or you are" I spoke coldly. "I know it's hard to act fast and think fast for the best outcome, but if you don't want to spend the rest of your life with guilt of failing to save an innocent person, I suggest you take this training seriously"
With that I let my dome of highly condensed blood to turn into normal, that flooded the classroom with my blood until it reached up to most of their waists. Shrieks were heard from most of the girls and everybody was highly uncomfortable, wading in blood. Meanwhile, those who were too short quickly scrambled towards the tall and bulky ones so they did not completely submerge in the icky liquid of mine.
"Please remain calm" I said, as I rubbed my forehead just before Iida raised up his hand. "I have vaccinated over ten thousands of illnesses and viruses. I can assure you that my blood is very clean, despite the fact that you're swimming in it. And after this training, you'll be clean in no time"
"Uhhh sensei…?" Squeaked the poor moss head boy as he shakily raised his hand. "Wh-what is th-t-th-that…?!"
I raised an eyebrow in confusion as did many other students… until we all saw a shark fin swimming leisurely around me.
"KYAAAA!"
"SH-SHARK! SHARK!"
"NO! I'M TOO YOUNG TO DIE!"
Sighing, I reached my arm into the pool of blood to pick Squalo up. It was easy to locate the woman since she was swimming in my territory.
"No need to worry children" I called out as I showed Squalo's unapologetic face, which grinned, flashing all the students her jagged sharp teeth. "This is Squalo. Squalo, these are the children who are aspiring to be heroes"
"Bleh" Spat Squalo as she made a face. "I never understand why youngsters want to become heroes… it's a pain in the-"
"Squalo" I spoke, my voice getting dangerously soft. "Did I order you to blabber such things in front of these children?"
The shark-girl shuddered and quickly shook her head sideways. "N-no boss…"
"Good" I replied, then I dunked her body back into the pool of blood as she began to swim around once again.
"As I mentioned, this training will consist in increasing your reaction time, but before we start, you must know the rules. Rule number one: do not leave this room. Rule number two: you may use everything in your disposal to protect yourselves, even using lethal force. Do not worry about the integrity of the walls, floor, and ceiling. They are strong enough to handle… well… mostly everything. Rule number three: do not cooperate with others. Stay well away from others so that you aren't bumping into each other… yes Mineta?"
"B-but I'm too short sensei! I might drown!"
"... can you swim?"
"W-well, yes?"
"Then swim you idiot!" I roared out as nobody noticed the shark fin disappearing as their attention was now focused on me. "You may have a height disadvantage, but if your inborn traits hold you back from saving others, change your goddamn dream!"
"B-but sir! Mineta-san could actually be in great risk if—"
"Too bad!" I yelled out again, cutting through Iida's rebuttal. "The moment you signed up to be heroes, your main job is to protect and save civilians, no matter what the cost! If every hero makes up excuses from saving others, how the fuck can anybody put their trust in heroes?!"
That shut everybody up and I was able to move on with the rules.
"Well now… I believe there are a few more moments for questions. Yes Midoriya?"
"Uhhh… Brando-sensei, where exactly are we supposed to use our lethal force on…?"
"... Squalo of course. Haven't you noticed her disappearance?"
Gasps were sounded all around as people began to notice the shark woman's absence and a few shrieks were sounded here and there as a grey shark fin arose to the surface then disappeared once again into my blood.
"Squalo's quirk is quite interesting you see… [Water Teleportation] is her quirk and what it does is… Well, the name speaks for itself"
Suddenly, a shriek sounded as Tokage Setsuna was suddenly pulled into the blood as she was completely submerged.
"Too slow Tokage!" I roared like a drill sergeant the minute she came back to the surface, gasping for gulps of air. "React to immediate danger! Separate your body if needed! CONSTANT VIGILANCE!"
"Y-yes sir!" Shouted Tokage as she finally gained her footing. And the training went on with many of the students being attacked from all directions.
Smiling slightly I climbed to the surface of a sea of red and sat on my chair made of blood, observing every student struggling to stay on their feet as Squalo gave an occasional slap or a nibble.
Who knew being a teacher was going to be this fun?
Bakugo Katsuki was the only one to actually do some harm to Squalo, just as I assumed. The boy was talented in combat and had an excellent quirk to back him up, I'll give him that. Although he would never be a hero in Italy for his mindset, Japan apparently didn't care much for the personalities of heroes. You just needed a good quirk to become a hero. Morals came later.
…
One of the few things I didn't like about the world, but there was not much I could do to install my beliefs in other countries.
As for the others… Shoto just had an outrageous quirk. Having the ability to form ice and fire with his fingertips, it made me nearly jealous of his perfect balance. Despite having the ability to create fire and ice, Shoto wasn't exactly immune to extreme levels of heat and cold. If he could, he could get burnt. If he could, he could get frostbite. However, with both control over two contrasting elements, his major weaknesses were covered.
Within a few years, he was going to be one invincible motherfucker. And if I give him a few dozen more years, I believe he could become more powerful than me and claim the no.1 title in Japan, or at least no.2, considering Midoriya's bullshit powers and plot armor.
But with those two aside… if he didn't use his fire quirk, he was going to be fucked.
…
Oh, it seems like I have a student who hasn't gone home yet!
"Do you have something to say?"
Out of the rim of my teacup, wild clumps of purple hair were seen. After taking a slurp out of coffee, I made direct eye-contact with Shinso Hitoshi. Then, I frowned as I spotted a rather large bruise forming on the teenager's cheek.
"You should get that treated. That's a nasty bruise"
"..."
"Oh, so you have something to talk about with me. Well then, come over here, I don't bite" I lied as a few portions of my blood formed into a chair next to me.
"Th-thank you sensei, but I'm fine with standing up" Spoke Shinso, still not used to getting in contact with blood.
"Suit yourself" I spoke as I took another sip from my coffee as the chair reverted back into liquid.
"..."
"..."
"Oh, for goodness sake, say what you want to say already!" I yelled, obviously annoyed by the silence causing the young boy to flinch.
"... can you train me…?"
"... pardon?"
"... today… I realized that I was the least impressive guy in your class" Spoke Shinso, as the teenager stared at his toes while his right hand rubbed the back of his neck. "I guess… no, I'm positive that it's my own fault for my shortcomings. The moment I gained my quirk, all I could think of was becoming a hero. But when I understood my quirk, I began to doubt my dream. Everybody began to tease me how a great villain I could become, rather than commenting how I could be a great hero. At one point in my life… I think that I accepted that it was impossible for a guy like me to become a hero"
"But here you are," I said, pointing out the contradiction to his words.
"... yeah. I just couldn't find myself to simply let go of what I admire the most" Spoke Shinso as he scratched the back of his neck again. "And… I'm here asking for help because today showed me just how far I was behind others"
He indeed turned out to be the least successful student in the training as even Mineta, despite his low confidence and height difference, gave Squalo somewhat caution when attacking him.
"So you're using pity and empathy to convince me to give you extra training. Quite a nice method you got there" I spoke nonchalantly as I took another sip out of my drink, ignoring Shinso flinching once again.
"N-no! That's not…!"
"Fine, I'll give you extra training. It's always nice to see somebody quite ambitious as yourself" I spoke as I emptied my teacup. Then, by my will, all of my blood, including the chair I was sitting on, the teacup, the teaspoon, and the saucer all melted away and surrounded me into a semi-sphere, pulsing gently once again.
"Considering your quirk… I suppose infiltration missions would suit you the best" I mused as I inspected him in a closer view. "Well… I have the perfect teacher to train you, unfortunately, she's not here around. It might take a few days for her to come, but I'll have her here nonetheless"
"... is this… is this person… you know…"
"Part of the mafia?" I finished the question for him as he flinched again.
"Ah… ah…"
Oh the poor boy. His mouth seemed to have dried up and he's shaking a bit. No wonder. I already have a shady reputation and it's no secret that I'm an active member in the underworld. However, I gave up most of my authority in the criminal world to have myself painted as a hero, which did boost up my reputation. But to have a true mafia teaching a highschool kid…
…
…
…
Having a member of the mafia teaching a child in a prestigious academy would obviously cause a lot of problems and I didn't want any more than what I already have. I already have the media of Italy and Japan biting my ass, trying to fish out any bad information from the students of UA that could tarnish my reputation. I have politicians who want me out of the picture, or use my bizarre status for their own gain. I have heroes who see me as a villain and would love to have me arrested for my… well, personal activities, which are unfortunately deemed illegal in the eyes of law.
Without doubt, the best course of action was to lie. So I did.
"No worries. This person that would be your tutor is not affiliated with the mafia in any way, either than having a connection with me" I spoke, controlling my heartbeat with my blood, just in case anybody overheard our conversation and had keen sense of hearing to hear my heartbeat.
Thankfully, my words seemed to relieve Shiso from a great deal of stress as his shaking stopped.
"Ah, thank you, sensei"
"Now run along Shinso and get your bruises treated. Heavens know what your parents would say if they saw such a thing on their child's face"
After having the student leave school, I stayed behind to plan for the upcoming lessons and several paperwork, personal and UA related. Even when I was handing out my… talents free of money, there were a few dozen documents that had been overlooked, which my lawyer did a good job handling, but it wouldn't hurt for me to take a look myself. Truthfully, I was surprised how easily Nezu accepted my help. Perhaps he felt the need for extra training for his students after the villains attacked them. The rodent knew that one way or another that that attack wouldn't be the last.
After that and a small spat with my uncle and Aizawa, which is now a daily occurrence, I returned to the hotel… My hotel to be more precise, considering that I had bought the establishment, just in case.
Once I made sure I was alone in my room, except for the fact that Secco and Doppia were right in the living room watching some anime(what irony… an anime inside an anime…), I dialed my phone to call one of my personal assassins, or perhaps all of them considering that my direct assassins are a team of only seven. Currently, they're under the mission of surveilling the streets of Italy and taking out illegal drug dealers, and tracking down the source of the providers and assassinating them too for good measure.
Time to time, they would assassinate specific people who did other things than selling drugs. High ranked civil servants, members of the parliament, and even a few celebrities/heroes that needed to be taken out of the equation. And here I was, ordering one of my deadliest subordinates who does unspeakable things to teach one of my temporary students. Hopefully nobody finds out about this. Besides, with their history completely a blank state(hopefully), it'll be near impossible for anybody to know their identity and their job occupation.
This should be kept as a secret no matter what. I had lied. Lied to a student no less, and if the truth were to be uncovered, not only would I be in a sticky situation, but Shinso's life would be less or equally screwed as mine.
"... h-hello…? Is this… uhh… is this boss…?" A feeble voice sounded on the end of the receiver.
"Yes, this is the boss. Who am I speaking to?"
"A-ah! Boss! Th-this is—"
"Wait, don't answer. I don't care" I spoke, cutting off the receiver who started whimpering by my random acts of bullying. "Get me Risotto Nero on the line"
It took me a few seconds, but unfortunately, it wasn't Risotto Nero on the line.
"Umm… boss…? Are you… are you still there?"
"I am… what is the matter? Is Risotto not there?"
"N-no, boss! It's just that… she's asleep…"
"Asleep? For my understanding it's already past seven in the evening over there… Whatever, you better wake her up then"
"R-really…? But it's… waking her up is kinda scary…"
"What are you saying?" I asked, getting a bit annoyed by the receiver. "Are you implying that my subordinate is scarier than me? Are you implying that I'm just a chump?"
"Eep! N-n-no boss! I didn't mean any disrespect! I'll wake up Risott— kr…! GRAAARKKK!"
"I hope you have a good reason to sneak up behind me at six in the morning Pesci… Is it perhaps that you're trying to assassinate me?" A new husky voice entered the conversation as I slightly winced at the sound of Pesci throwing up.
"N-no…! It's b-b-boss… ueerkkk!"
"... why didn't you say so…? Hello?"
"Hello, Risotto Nero. Well… I'll keep things short, I want you and Prosciutto to come over to Japan right now"
"... I didn't know our works would go international… Who are we assassinating in Japan?"
"Oh, nobody at the moment. It's just that… I need you to teach somebody how to be a stealthy fighter"
"Hoh… are we getting a new recruit? Is it a cute Japanese boy?"
"Yes, he's a cute Japanese boy, but he's not a new recruit. He's a student in UA who wants to be a hero"
"... I'm sorry, I believe I misheard you. I thought you said that I, a heavily experienced assassin who has killed countless of people, was supposed to teach a boy who goes to Japan's largest hero academy to become a hero"
"I didn't stutter"
From the short silence that took place, except for the quiet sniffling sounds of Pesci cleaning up her mess, I could easily picture my favorite assassin rubbing her temples in every direction possible to quench the rising headache that was starting to harm her brains. Obviously, what I'm asking is too much and too illogical. Already I had several calls from my high executives and capos that I was being way too emotional as they begged me to return to Italy immediately.
I told them to shut the fuck up and they did. Those who talked back and crossed the line… well… the assassins took care of them as usual. Seriously… it's common sense that disrespect cannot be allowed in this type of place, and yet some still have the gall to do it right in front of my face.
Besides, they should understand. Most of them should understand my situation. I just wanted to lash out this emotion that has been piling up inside of me. I wanted to avenge my mother, and I wanted to do it properly.
…
What a little pathetic hypocrite I am…
"... boss, all due to respect, this is a really bad idea. The risk factors completely outweighs the benefits, if there are any in the first place"
"I thought about the risks" I replied, cranking my neck. "But I just decided to ignore those"
"Boss!" Came the exasperated and a bit frantic reply as the assassin's voice slipped. "Please! I beg you to reconsi—"
"Risotto Nero" I spoke, my voice allowing my room for arguments. "I. Didn't. Stutter"
"... we'll be there at least tomorrow, boss"
"Good"
With those words I hung up and smiled to myself, amused. Truthfully speaking, my involvement with UA was obviously because the students' destinies were tied with the League of Villains. I was simply… using them as a means to satisfy my irking sensations of losing my mother. But I have to admit that being a teacher was indeed fun. Besides, nobody said that the road to vengeance had to be depressing, filled with drama, and sorrowful all the time.
Popping open some expensive cognac, I poured myself a drink, but not one for the others. I wasn't going to hand out alcohol to my pet, and as for Diavolo… well, she would probably hate it especially in this kind of romantic setting. It was indeed romantic when you consider the amazing view down below from the hotel's VIP room while you have a glass filled with alcohol that costs more than an ordinary person's salary. In addition to that, the blissful music of Arcangelo Corelli rang in the bedroom as I picked a cheap candy, popping the sweet sugary dessert into my mouth.
Strangely, the taste and texture of this cheap consumable fit so well with this high quality cognac.
As I was slowly preparing to finally relax and pondering whether to have sex tonight, the hotel's phone rang. Strange. They wouldn't call me unless it was urgent…
"Yes? This is Diego Brando speaking"
"B-Brando-san!" Came the frantic voice of a Japanese woman who I believe was the receptionist. "Th-there's a person who's looking for you…"
"I thought I mentioned clearly to deny any person who tries to visit me" I growled slightly as I slowly clenched my fingers around the glass cup. "Do not tell me that you forgot my… requests?"
"Of-of course no, Brando-san! But… but he's… he called himself, Josephine Joestar and you told us to notify you immediately when—"
I wasn't listening as I heard the name flashing through my ear. Joestar. A Joestar. My grandmother's greatest enemies. A threat to each other. A nemesis to each other. My potential enemy. My potential killer. My potential victim.
When I was brought back to my senses, the glass that held the cognac was crushed and sanguine blood was gushing out of my wounds by the glass shards that pierced my palm. Grunting, I urged my gushing blood to emit more through the small wounds. By doing so, all the glass bits popped right out of my hand, but the process stained the perfect carpet.
…
…
…
"B-Brando-san…? Are you… umm… are you still on the phone, sir?"
"... escort Mrs. Joestar to one of the private dining rooms" I ordered as the wounds closed before my eyes. "And get two housekeepers to replace the rug in this bedroom. I apparently spilled… well, fluids"
"Right away Brando-san!"
With that I put down the phone and sighed heavily and walked out the door.
After telling Doppia to be good and hiding Secco in the closet, telling her to stay there until I retrieve her, I made my way to the VIP elevator.
Subconsciously, I began to fiddle with my cuffs and my necktie when I noticed something. My arms… they were shaking, and a dribble of sweat ran down the back of my neck. This was… this was far more intimidating than anything I've experienced… This was worse than my first kill, worse than training with dad, fighting with dad to obtain the throne of a gang-star, worse than doing all the shit to become the no.1 hero…
This was about facing my destiny. This was about a feud between the two houses that created this destiny for me. The branches of the Joestar and Brando have entangled together a century ago, and because of that, I knew in my blood that each member of each house attracts one another. In the past, we may have become the greatest allies, but the relationship between us has strained ever since my great-grandmother killed and destroyed a Joestar's life.

…
I do not know Josephine's intentions. Why now all of a sudden, and not immediately when I set foot on this island? And I am sure that the old woman didn't come here unprepared. Who was she with? Perhaps somebody capable of fighting… after all, they wouldn't just enter my territory without coming up with various ways of escaping or fighting back…
Suddenly, with a ding, the elevator reached the dining area and the doors slid open, not hesitating the slightest for myself.
Breathe Diego, breathe. Breathe in, breathe out. Control her heartbeat until it's a steady metronome. A panicked mind is no good in a warzone.
Now as I walk through the doors the cogs and gears of destiny are turning, and it won't be long until I face my destiny, whatever it might be.
