There was one thing that could be said about Ladybug, Hero of Paris and current Guardian of the Miraculous-she was the consummate professional. Despite how much flirting she endured from her partner, Cat Noir, she rarely broke her shell of professionalism.

These instances...and the fact that they worked with each other on a daily basis and faced life and death battles...Ladybug knew there was no way to deny her feelings for the dark-clad feline hero. And despite the fact that Master Fu-the previous Guardian-told them to avoid relationships...she was the Guardian now...
So the night started like any other-Ladybug and Cat Noir met at their usual rendezvous. "Good evening, milady" he said as way of greeting.
"Hello...my prince" she replied.
This caused him to raise an eyebrow. But he took it in stride. "So, what's happening tonight?"
As she had been sitting on the rooftop, she stood to stretch-letting Cat Noir take in her form as she did. Was this an accident...or deliberate? Did she know what kind of hold she had on him?
He wasn't even paying attention as she was talking to him. "Kitty! You with me?"
He shook his head. "Sure! But...could you repeat what you said? For clarity's sake?"
She said, "We're patrolling the usual spots, of course...try and keep up, Kitty..."
She threw her yo-yo out and swung away. Cat Noir said, "Right behind you, milady!"
They swung and leapt across Paris- but their patrol area had been reduced thanks to the heroes Ladybug entrusted with Miraculous-such as her friend Alya, who was the Hero Rena Rouge, and Nino, Alya's boyfriend who was Carapace. As Ladybug landed, Cat Noir said, "Hey, milady...it seems to be a quiet night..."
"You're right, Chaton...what should we do now?" she replied.
"How about a sweet for my sweet?" he asked.
You've been repressing your feelings for him for all this time...now you should let him know... "Alright, Cat Noir. What do you have in mind?"
Minutes later, they were enjoying ice cream courtesy of Andre the Ice Cream Man. Cat Noir said, "You know, Bugaboo..."
"You know I don't like that name...but continue, Kitty..." she said.
"These moments...just us...on a quiet night...are what I cherish the most about us." Cat Noir said.
She knew he had a point...after all the fights and battles...he was always there.
"Oh! Cat Noir!" she said.
He looked at her with concern. "What is it, Ladybug?" he asked.
"You've got ice cream all over you!" she replied. "Let me get it off..." she added.
She approached him...and kissed his cheek. He touched the spot her lips touched...
"Wait...I'm not done yet!" she said. And this kiss-touched his lips. Just like Dark Cupid...if he never remembers, I do...
It was short...he looked at her and said, "Milady...what does this mean?"
She looked away, a light blush creeping onto her face. "Why explain it when I can show you?" she answered.
"My Lady..." Cat Noir whispered as she leaned in and their lips crashed together. And this kiss wasn't the innocent one they just shared-this one was born of hunger and an acknowledgement of long-repressed feelings...she had gripped his shoulders, only to bring her hands behind his neck as he held her waist...in this moment, everything else disappeared...her duties as a hero and a Guardian...it was so easy to hide behind these things. But the truth was that she was a young woman...and like many other young women, she had needs and desires...
...and she was intent on getting those needs fulfilled. They separated for air and green met bluebell.
