Chapter 34 Olidroll City Part 2
Ash and Lillie continue to explore as they arrive at the Police Station, they decide to check inside to see what is going on.
Police Officer: Welcome to the Police Station. I'm the chief. You seem like a respectable trainer. I can tell by the way you carry yourself...not to mention all those badges. Do you want to be a Police Officer to help us out?
Ash: (Both of them are looking at each other and nod.) Sure, since we finished our tasks in the Rangers. We can be Police Officers.
Police Officer: Oh? So you also helped out the rangers? That's great. Then you'll have the Rotom Phone, right?
After installing the application, Ash and Lillie are now members of the Police.
Police Officer: If you ever want to help out around Olidroll, you can take a look at the board to your right, or the App for our current case. We could use some extra hands. This is a big city, so by the time you finish one case, another will have probably popped up.
Ash and Lillie know that it is the same as what they do in the Rangers Base, so they decide to check out their first case.
Mission Name: Smeargle Smear Campaign. A citizen in the Residental District has reported a Smeargle repeatedly trying to paint the apartment building she lives in. She usually manages to catch it in time, but this time she didn't. We've already called some people about cleaning up the apartment, so your job is to find the Smeargle. Her apartment building is the one just in front of the Recreation District gatehouse. It'll probably still have some paint on it.
Lillie: So we just need to find the Smeargle and capture it. That sounds easy.
And then they are off to the Residental District, they are in awe at the sight of the area, not to mention the giant advertisement with Felicia on it. They find the Smeargle near the door that leads to another place, and much to their shock, it ran and ran into Lillie's Pokeball.

When they go to the HP Room, there are Noctowl, Loudred, Musharna, Jigglypuff, Marill, Nidorina, Lickitung, and Swalot.
Ash: I already have a Noctowl, so I'll just capture a Swalot.
Lillie: (Confused) Why Swalot? I mean, if you want a Poison Type, Nidoqueen might be a good choice...
Ash: Swalot is good for defensive attacks, so I think it might be good to use.
After that, Ash has Girafarig helping him battle the Pokemon, and eventually capturing it.
In the Attack Room, there are Tranquill, Ariados, Watchog, Herdier, Hitmonlee, Nidorino, Pinsir, and Heracross.
Ash: Compared to Nidoqueen, I think I'll capture Nidoking instead. It is a good thing that we bought a lot of stones at Bolaii Beach.
And Ash manages to capture the Nidorino by lowering its Health, and then he gives him the Moon Stone to evolve it into a Nidoking, and it also learns Megahorn after evolving.
Lillie: Since you have a Heracross, I think I'll get its counterpart, Pinsir.
She has Bayleef battle the Pinsir, even though it is not very effective, Bayleef evolves and it prompts Lillie to capture Pinsir in the end.
Ash: Pinsir is a Bug Type, but it learns Fighting moves more than Bug moves, and when it Mega Evolves, it gains Flying Type...but the only Flying move that can learn naturally is Arcobatics...I wonder why is that?
Lillie: I have no idea as well.
In the Defense Room, there are Spewpa, Swadloon, Sudowoodo, Torkoal, Durant, Sandslash, Quilladin, and Skarmory.
Ash: For the Kalos Starters, you have Braixen and I have Greninja, I think maybe we can get a Chesnaught so that we have three of them.
Lillie: Sure, though I know that Chesnaught is quite bulky as it is also a Fighting Type as well.
Ash then has Charizard battle Quilladin and then captures it in the end, which is a success. Then he also sees a Skarmory.
Ash: And I think a Steel and Flying Type like Skarmory is good as well.
Lillie: Compared to Corviknight?

Ash: Lillie, how about we both capture a Kirlia, and I'll evolve it into a Gallade while you evolve it into a Gardevoir?
Lillie: Sure, I mean, of all the Psychic Type Pokemon, I heard that they are very popular among the crowd.
And they find a couple of Kirlia, who decide to double battle with Ash and Lillie, as they go with Decidueye and Dartrix. In the end, Dartrix evolves into a Decidueye and both of them go with Spirit Shackle to defeat them, having them captured. Ash uses the Dawn Stone on his male Kirlia, and it evolves into a Gallade. As for Lillie's female Kirlia, she uses it to battle Roselia to evolve into a Gardevoir.
Lillie: My next target is going to be Alakazam...I think a Kadabra is good to use.
She has Torracat battle the Pokemon, and Torracat evolves into an Incineroar, and it learns Darkest Lariat to defeat Kadabra, having Lillie capturing it. And by using the Link Stone, she evolves it into an Alakazam.
They also evolve a lot of Pokemon, such as Stunky, it evolves into a Skuntank, but Lillie is still trying to accept the stink from the Pokemon. Ash also evolves Deerling into Sawsbuck, and since it is Autumn, so that its color is brown. And Lillie also trains Brionne and Cufant, as they evolve into Primarina and Copperajah in the end.
In the Special Defense Room, there are Ledian, Lombre, Floette, Gothorita, Togetic, Hitmonchan, Hitmontop, and Mr. Mime.
Lillie: Now I am getting a lot of Psychic Type Pokemon...I think I also want a Gothitelle as well...
Ash: I don't think you can evolve it into a Gothitelle, since it needs more level to evolve.
Lillie then has Mimikyu to help her capture the Gothorita, and with the help of Shadow Claw, Gothorita is now captured by Lillie's Pokeball.
Ash: As for me, I'll go with Togekiss. I have a Shiny Stone, so I can just evolve it from Togetic.
And just like Ash said, he has Pikachu defeats Togetic so that he can capture it, and he also uses the Shiny Stone on Togetic, and evolves it into Togekiss and it learns Air Slash.
And finally, in Speed Room, there are Pidgeotto, Swellow, Fearow, Linoone, Raticate, Pikachu, Ambipom, and Fletchinder. They didn't capture the new Pokemon, but Lillie also evolves her Braixen and Dewott in the end. As for Ash, he also evolves his Wartortle and Quilladin into Blastoise and Chesnaught in the end.

Raymond: My name is Raymond. I'm the Gym Leader here. One of them, that is.
