New day, same old story. Another secret fling of Parkinson's has come out of the darkness and into the light.

I wonder how that makes Neville, Ron, and Fred feel to find out that Pansy's been caught fooling around with yet another member of the redheaded clan.

I never knew Little Weasley swung for the other team.

"It's a damn shame I missed out on a chance with Little Weasley when I had a chance," Greg laughed, shaking his head as he walked past the group of students gathered around a familiar redhead. He winked and flashed a smile when he saw Ginny pop her head out of the circle.

"What was that comment, Goyle?" Ginny hissed, furrowing her brow as she crossed her arms over her chest. She stepped out of the circle of friends so that she could get a better look at Greg.

Greg stopped in his tracks with a snicker before turning on his heels to face her. A smirk pulled at the corners of his lips as he looked her up and down. "It's no wonder that Zabini and Nott couldn't make you happy. They didn't have the right parts."

"Keep Theo and Blaise out of this, Greg," Ginny replied, taking a few steps towards him with her eyes focused on him. She refused to break eye contact with him. "Just because I turned you down for a date doesn't mean I'm interested in girls."

"That's not what the rumor mill said," Greg laughed, shoving his hand in his pocket to find the piece of parchment he had shoved in there before he turned down the corridor. A smile pulled at his lips as fingers wrapped around the small paper plan. He pulled it out and tossed it to her. "Gossip Witch seems to state otherwise."

Greg noticed Pansy rounding the corner and stopping dead in her tracks when she noticed Ginny standing in the middle of the hall reading the piece of parchment.

"Parkinson, it seems you and your little redheaded secret need to have a little chat," Greg laughed, motioning for Pansy to join them. "It would appear she's having a little bit of memory loss. A big ole kiss might just remind her. What do you say, Parkinson?"

"Do you have to be such an ass, Goyle?" Pansy growled, snatching the piece of parchment out of Ginny's hand. She noticed Ginny open her mouth to protest but closed it when she met Pansy's eyes. "Maybe you're just jealous that your love life is so non-existent that Gossip Witch doesn't have anything to write about you. Or maybe she's not so concerned with one of Draco's little lackeys who can't get a date to save his life."

Greg opened his mouth to respond but closed it almost immediately as he thought about what else he could say that would make Pansy shut up and retreat. Nothing he could think of would bite back the way that he wanted it to. Pansy wasn't someone to be messed with; that's why he chose to start something with Weasley. She was an easier target than Parkinson. Shaking his head, Greg held his hands up and backed away. "You win."

Pansy nodded her head and looked around at the crowd that had gathered around them. "What are you all looking at?"

A chorus of "nothing" rose up around her, and she laughed as she watched people turn away and return to their conversations. However, she could tell they were still watching them out of the corners of their eyes. Rolling her eyes, Pansy took a deep breath. She knew they were waiting for something to happen. They didn't know what they wanted to happen, but they wanted to wait. It was the only reason they were all still there.

Pansy glanced at Ginny out of the corner of her eye. Ginnys' mouth was hanging open as she watched Goyle walk away from the crowd. It was almost as though she couldn't believe how easy it was to get him to go away. Pansy rolled her eyes; she had her fair share of practice chasing people like Goyle away. The Slytherin Common Room wasn't always the most friendly place to spend time.

"I can't believe this blast," Ginny mumbled, shaking her head as she turned to face Pansy. "Thanks for coming to my rescue."

"I didn't rescue you," Pansy scoffed, looking her up and down. "I have a reputation to uphold."

"Of being the castle slut?" Ginny asked, crossing her arms over her chest as she cocked her head to the side.

"Really?" Pansy asked, tossing her head back with a laugh. "That's rich coming from you."

"What that's supposed to mean?" Ginny hissed, stepping closer to Pansy. Their faces were only centimeters apart. Ginny's eyes searched Pansy for an answer before allowing her eyes to flutter closed. They both leaned into one another.

Pansy's hands found Ginny's waist and pulled her body flush against her. She tilted her head slightly to get better access to Ginny's lips, sliding her tongue along the seam, asking permission to enter. Ginny moaned in response, allowing Pansy's tongue to slip inside her mouth and deepen the kiss.

The two remained entangled in one another for a few moments before pulling apart. Ginny's eyes went wide when she realized what had just happened. She pushed away Pansy and took off, running down the corridor, refusing to look behind her. She could hear people calling her name, but she couldn't look back. She just couldn't.
