"We need to talk," Astoria said, grabbing Daphne's hand and pulling her off the bed. "But we can't do this here."
"Let go of me," Daphne growled, pulling her hand away from her sister. She crossed her arms over her chest and leaned back against the headboard. Daphne looked Astoria up and down and frowned. "What if I don't want to talk to you?"
"Why wouldn't you want to talk to me?" Astoria replied, furrowing her brow. "If anyone shouldn't want to talk to someone, it should be me not wanting to talk to you. I mean, you have been caught sneaking about the castle with my boyfriend."
"Yes, because everything is about you," Daphne said, rolling her eyes. She pushed herself off the bed and shook her head. "Did you ever think maybe I didn't want to leave the safety of my dorm? I don't think people are exactly happy with my drunken stupor from a few nights ago."
"Oh, right," Astoria sighed, scrubbing her hands over her face. "I forgot about your fight with Blaise. Have you talked to him since it happened?"
"I don't want to talk about this," Daphne huffed, brushing past Astoria to grab her coat. "Let's just get out of here so you can tell me whatever it is you want to talk about."
Astoria inhaled sharply and held her breath for a few moments, stopping whatever smart remark that was about to drop out of her mouth. At this moment, she needed her sister because she was the only person in the entire castle that would understand what was happening to her. Even though Astoria hated Daphne's behavior, she knew that Daphne would be able to tell her exactly what to do, especially since she was Theo's best friend.
"Where are we going?" Daphne asked, glancing over her shoulder. She laughed when Astoria jumped at the sound of her voice. "Who's got you spooked?"
Astoria rolled her eyes as they made their way out of the common room and through the dungeon. As they approached the stairs, Daphne stopped and turned on her heels to face her sister.
"You need to tell me where we're going so I don't wander around the castle like a moron," Daphne said, shaking her head as she looked Astoria up and down. Something was off about her sister, but that wasn't entirely unusual. Daphne had always been a tad bit more judgmental of her sister than was necessary, but that was her job as the oldest Greengrass sister. Well, one of her jobs.
Daphne shook her head as the thought passed through her mind. She wanted to live the life that she wanted, which meant she needed to make sure Astoria followed the Greengrass family ways and all possible suitors were approved by her parents. Creevy was not the match her parents had in mind, so whatever had happened with him and Tori, Daphne needed to get to the bottom of it.
"Let's go to the Astronomy Tower," Astoria said, pointing towards the stairs. "You're familiar with the location, right?"
"You want me to listen to what you have to say, right?" Daphne asked, furrowing her brow as she glared at her sister.
"Of course," Astoria said, nodding her head quickly as she ran her fingers through her hair. "Sorry, I didn't mean to be rude."
"Save it," Daphne said, rolling her eyes as she turned around and made her way up the stairs. "We can go back to hating each other once you tell me what's going on with you."

Draco let out a sigh as he leaned up against the railing as he looked out over the castle. This was the only place he could get away and think. Hermione knew he liked to hang out here, but she also knew when he came here that he needed to be alone. He needed to clear his mind and finally figure out what the hell he was going to do about Lucius's ultimatum.
"Damn it," Astoria sighed, tossing her arms up in the air as she rounded the corner and noticed Draco standing at the top of the stairs. "Malfoy, what are you doing here?"
Draco glanced down the steps out of the corner of his eye and bit back the remark that was sitting on the tip of his tongue. "I came up here to think. What are you doing here, Tori? And with Daphne," he laughed, shaking his head. "That's an interesting choice of companion for the tower. I didn't realize you two were into each other."
"That's why neither of us would go out with you," Daphne huffed, pushing Tori out of her way as she made her way up the steps. She squared up to Draco and crossed her arms over her chest. "Why aren't you curled up in the Gryffindor common room with your bookworm? Did you two finally realize you were better off apart?"
"What's that supposed to mean?" Draco snapped, taking a step closer to her but stopping himself before he did something he might have regretted. "What have you heard?"
"Nothing," Daphne laughed, holding her hands up as she shook her head. "It was just a joke. But apparently, there's some truth to it. Let me guess, Mommy and Daddy Malfoy aren't happy with your love choice."
"I'm not talking about this with you," Draco huffed, shaking his head. "I'll get out of your way."
"No," Astoria chimed in, joining them at the top of the stairs. "Stay. You might be able to help me too."
"Go on," Draco replied, leaning against the railing. He gave Astoria a once over. She was pretty, but he had never noticed it before. She was always Theo's girl, and after the incident with Ginny, Draco knew it was best not to go to war with Nott over a girl.
Astoria took a deep breath and closed her eyes. "Before I tell you this, I need you to promise me that you won't say a word to anyone. Can I trust you?"
Astoria's eyes fluttered open as she looked up at each of them. She saw Daphne nodding her head, which she knew was as good as her giving her word that she'd keep her mouth shut. With that confirmation in mind, she turned her attention to Draco, who was looking at her with a smile.
"For now, you can trust me," Draco said, offering her a wink and a smile.
"Colin Creevy kissed me," Astoria said, mumbling under her breath. She had hoped that neither of them had actually heard her, but it felt good to get it off her chest.
"We know," Draco and Daphne replied in unison.
