AN: I don't own My hero academia or the characters form the other animes that will be appearing
Last time… the investigation went on. With help from other Izuku and co were able to gain even more evidence to prove their classmate's innocents. The problem was they didn't know which faculty member was behind all this. They ended up stalking their target late at night. Little did they knew it was a tarp. One that made the go face to face with massive monsters.
Remember to smile part 2
"I must say it is quite impressive that you all made it this far." The man commented with a sarcastic clap. "Then again I shouldn't expect less form the boy chosen by the walking security camera himself."
Walking security camera? Izuku dismissed that question form his mind and stood tall. He's starting to understand this case in its entirety. Looking back at everything that happened it was all too clear. Despite the fear following through his body, he was able to put up a strong front and faced the mastermind of this whole debacle. "So, you're the one behind all of this, Mr Hasami."
The old man chuckled and bowed his head, "indeed I am. Did you know?"
"In hindsight, it was pretty obvious." To know the format of Shiketsu's security systems so well they could tamper with the security footage that would require a lot of inside knowledge in their technology. All tools available to a veteran security teach faculty. Even more easy if they are the ones that made it. Not only could the tamper with the footage but they could also make a key card coded with their teacher's ID. Making them look like they were to blame. As for the true key card. The hole in Arata's pocket didn't come from nowhere. It was cut and the veteran had a neat pair of scissors fingers. All he had to do was get close to the guy. Which was simple since he was a part of the meeting that day Arata lost his key card. "Not only did you frame Arata sensei, but you blackmailed another student to frame Shishikura. I am getting all this right?"
Hasami chuckled while the blackmailed student squirmed beside him. "Yes, yes all true. I heard about little mother overhear as well as young Shishikura heritage towards the school. I thought they would both be fine pawns to use."
"But why," Mikoyasha yelled out of turn. "Why would you do such cruel things. What is the purpose of this?"
The villain twisted his head from side to side. Contemplating weather or not to say it. "I would tell you, but it's seems your little detective has figure that out too. I can see it in his eyes."
There was a moment of silence as all eyes turned to the young detective. He could feel all those sets waiting for him. He didn't let it bother him this time. he knew the answer. It was becoming far too clear. "This was all an elaborate ruse to get rid of Arata sensei."
"Get rid of Arata sensei." Allen whispered allowed not too convinced. "But why would they want to do that? Because he's strong?"
"No there's more to this than that and ruining his reputation." Izuku glared at the smugly smiling man. It was becoming all too clear. From the day Izuku meet Arata something was strange about him. It was more than just himself. It was his ability. His quirk. Since day one the hero only even used his telekinesis quirk openly. It could be easily mistaken that was his only quirk at first glance. But there was another. He was sure of it. There were countless of times when Arata would answer a question he never said out loud. A couple of instances when he could have sworn, he heard his voice in his head. Like that time in the jewellery shop. Then there was the comment on him being a walking security camera and how no spy was able to break into the academy thanks to his quirk. "Arata sensei doesn't just have telekinesis. He also has a telepathy quirk. That's why no spy has ever broken into the school under his watch. A simple mindread and he could find them out. That must be a problem for you."
While the other students were shocked by the realisation, the old man laughed loudly. He gave the young detective an over dramatic round of applause. "Yes. You hit the nail right on the head. Your teacher has quite the remarkable quirk. Dual-kinesis I believe it was called. Not only can move and manipulate objects with his mind but he can read multiple minds at once in a significantly large area. Many moles have tried to seek in as students or new faculty members, but they were quietly weeded out with Arata screening every one of them. His quirk truly is a thing of marvel."
"If that's the case how on earth did you survive screening," Click questioned.
It was a decent question. One the villain was happy to answer, "you see I have been working at Shiketsu far longer than him. My loyal was with them until recently. The day I met him changed everything."
"Him?"
Hasami grin become even wilder. Demotic even. He extended his arms and pointed his face to the sky as if he was going to call on god himself. "All For One," he announced. The students looked at each other hoping they would know what that meant. None of them knew. How could they. The man was a forgotten legend. A rumour. A myth. But he was real. "My new master will change everything. I doubt even All Might himself can stop him. He's growing stronger by the day."
"What are you talking about?"
His howling laughter grew louder. "Ever wondered what information I stole? This more than some elaborate framing scheme for your dear homeroom teacher. I was requested to obtain information he could find useful." He held out his hand to the traitor student beside him. His fingers curled in a beckoning motion. The student took the hint and quickly rummaged something from within his uniform. Then he produced a book thick device with a handle. Presuming that was where the stolen data was held. The villain took the device by the handle and allowing in to sway in his fingers. "You see the master is very interested in quirks. It just so happens that hero schools attract plenty of interesting quirk users. Those quirks could prove useful to them."
"So, you're planning on kidnapping students with promising quirks and force them to join your side," Allen concluded. The mere though disgusted him. "I don't know about others, but I know for a fact no one in our class with join you. We are all training to be heroes."
"Exactly," the villain snapped his fingers and nodded with the boy's last statement. "You hero students usually produce the finest quirks. Perfect for the taking."
Taking? That was an odd way of putting it. He just means kidnapping them and maybe brainwash or threaten them if they don't comply. He couldn't mean it literally. That was not possible…or was it? A dreaded thought came to Izuku's mind. His blood ran cold with the sudden realisation. If it was true, this would shake up the very core of society. Someone with that type of power would be a monster. Then there was this look in the villain's eyes. Crazed and sure. He said that this All For One had the power to match even surpass All Might. It was in the name itself. All the power for one person. "You can't really mean…it's not possible…" Biting his lips he stared the villain down in the eyes. "This All For One. They have the ability to take other quirks."
The villain clapped rapidly in glee. "Ding! Ding! And we have a winner. That's exactly what he can do. Incredible, isn't it?"
"More like completely absurd," Click yelled out. He swiped the air in front of him calling the villain crazy. Someone like that doesn't exist.
"I didn't believe it myself until I saw it in action. Such incredible power. One would be a fool to deny a man like that," his crazed eyes landed on the young detective again. The boy shivered as they met. Something about them unsettled him more than it already did. It was like they were looking at a meal. One they were desperate to take a bite of. "My master also has the ability to give quirks."
Give quirks. It suddenly occurred to all of them what the man was suggesting. All eyes were once again on their quirkless detective. His body frozen in place. His eyes shocked as wide as they could go. It was a brain racking thought. A being that could take and give quirks.
The villain grinning at the sight. These children fully understood. That made this so much better. "I've been watching Arata for quite some time. Even before my recruitment. Always had to be on guard with him to not blow my cover. Then he brought you into the academy, Midoriya. A quirkless boy. Most of the staff couldn't wrap their heads around his obsession towards you. But I see it now. You are a remarkable young man. Quick learner, observant and analytical. For such an amazing mind trapped in such a weak body. Sad really. To be so unlucky. Let me help you with that." He extended a hand to the group. Particularly down to the young quirkless detective. "Join us. My master can give you any quirk you desire. We can even give you one of the quirks on this database. One of your classmates here perhaps. Anything. What do you say, Izuku Midoriya?"
"Don't do it!" the others were quick to call out. Each of them yelling phrases on the line of he shouldn't be trusted or not for him to lose his way. Anything they could think of on the spot that could convince him not to take the deal. Even if some of them sounded cheesy.
It was all unnecessary. The boy made up his mind long ago. He remembered his Sensei words form yesterday. Whenever he found himself in a tough situation. Remember to smile. So, he took a deep breath, gazed into the crazed villain's eyes. He smiled as brightly as he could. The villain took this as a sign of acceptance and smiled smugly back. Even his classmates panicked debating whether to jump him now before he could make a move. All of it was unnecessary.
"I still remember those days. I tried so hard to use either of my parent's quirks. Only for nothing to happen. So many people told me time and time again I could never be what I always wanted to be. A hero," he started off sadly before laughing. It didn't ease his classmate's concerns and only made the villain that more excited. The situation seemed so funny to him now. "You know Arata sensei gave me a hypothetical question like that before. If I could get a quirk, would I accept it. It's funny how that came back like this. A hypothetical question becoming reality. That's just the type of world we live in now, I guess. So, I'll tell you what I told him. More or less." The students would bite their nails if they could while the villain became more crazed. To all their shock the detective gave the villain a thumbs down. "No. I don't need it," he said whole heartedly.
The villain was outrage while his classmates were surprisingly relived. "NO! Are you insane? I'm giving you a once in a lifetime change to cause your disability and you're going to say no."
Without hesitation, Izuku nodded happily. "Yup. I don't need one. It took me a long time to realised that. Arata sensei had to chase me around with swords for months. I was even rejected by my idol. It's impossible for me to become a hero pro without a quirk. But there's the loophole. I don't need to be a pro. I don't need a quirk. I don't have to be that useless Deku anymore. I'll become a hero my own way!" he yelled out proudly while banging a clenched fist at his heart. "I will prove to everyone that I can be a hero."
Suddenly, a clap echoed through the halls of the warehouse. The students and villains looked around wondering where it came from. then something even more unexpected happened. The monsters that threatened them began to move. Their bodies contorted in painful positions. They even howled at the pain. It looked horrific with the sounds of bones snapping and discoloured blood squirting at their ripped skin. Then they stopped. Their bodies fell limp. What just happened? That questioned was soon answered as someone came out of the shadows clapping all the while. Arata smiled proudly as his student. "Well said, my boy."
His students were happy but stunned to see him. How did he find them? And how long was he there? The villain couldn't believe his eyes either. "Arata? How is this possible. You were placed in our highest containment unit."
Arata's laugh grew lounder. Sinister even. The kindness in his smiling eyes were replaced with something much darker. Insane. "You thought that little jail cell could contain me? HA! I've been in much worse conditions." His attention soon landed on his students. Each one of them stood still in attention the second their eyes met. Even though Arata was smiling there was a tone of rage mixed in it. it made them sweat more than a little. "'ve been following your movements telepathically. It was good entertainment I my cosy little cell. Well done solving the mystery. I applaud your efforts. However,"
The man then smacked all of them in a road right on the forehead. The force was so mighty that they fell off their feet. They even have a matching red palm print on each of their heads.
"Confronting the enemy was not only foolish by reckless as well. what were you all thinking? You should at least go to your headmistress." The children tried to explain they were only trying to be careful since one of their faculty was a traitor. They just didn't know which. This did not satisfy their teacher. "And taking on the villain head on would be any better? Did you ever thought of what you would do if you were found? Or if it was a possible trap? Especially you Izuku. I thought you were smarter than this. Thing!" He outrageously pointed to the villain above them. He looked more than a little offended. "Since our culprit has been so careful. It would make no sense they would keep such obvious evidence laying around some child locker. The note was extremely straight forward. Why not somewhere harder to get into like their dormitory. Or since they were faculty, they could have easily talked to the student privately. No evidence left behind. Yet there was. Why was that?"
The answer was obvious to the four of them the more their sensei talked. His smug smile grew as did their realisation. They wanted to be found. Either to force them to join them or kill them and make an example of those who go against them. This would also ruin the reputation of their school. Maybe even their teacher if they managed to pin the blame of their murder to him. The four of them hung their heads. "Sorry, sensei."
Their sensei easily accepted their apologies and turned his attention to his fellow faculty member turned villain. "I must say I'm slightly surprised. A veteran like you betraying the academy. Explains why I couldn't find the mole so easily. You were on my clear list for years. Obviously, I'll need to regular checks from now on."
The villain grins as the hero floated closer towards them. He tried to get the upper hand by using the student next to him as a hostage. It didn't work. As soon as his hand dash out to the child it froze. His body completely encased in a blue glow. "Damn It," he hissed through his tighten lips.
"Ha ha ha ha…" Arata laughed almost menacingly. There was a taunting and smug tone to it that matched his oversized dark grin, "Although it is quite funny. To think that bastard has his hands in high-ranking hero school. Perhaps even the famous U.A is unsafe. The populace truly has become weak if they are swayed so easily by that demon."
Suddenly, the villain's body was constricted and straightened. His legs firmly tight together along with his arms at their side. In a flash they were dashed forward. He didn't stop until he was forced to see Arata's eyes. They were wide opened. Gazing deep into his soul. The shine of playfulness they usually had were gone. Replaced by darken command.
"You did mention a man who can take quirks didn't you? what did you call him? All for One? Is that what that demon calls himself now? Hahaha…how fitting." The forced on the old man's body crushed him further. He could hear and feel his own bones staring to crack little by little. He would scream if it wasn't for the force keeping his lips shut. All he could manage was mummer desperate mumbles. Arata inched his face closer. The darkness in his eyes grew even more. "Tell me. How is that demon doing? I can't imagine he's doing well given how long it's been. Then again, he always seems to cheat death. No matter how much he deserves it," he hissed sleighing is hold. At this rate he would suffocate the man while crushing his bones.
His students watched horrified. They were all completely stunned by this sudden character change. Sure, their sensei seemed to have this sadistic side to him, but this was something else. There was clear malice behind his words and actions. Only a sliver of sense was keeping him from going too far. The scariest thing was that malice wasn't just aimed at the traitor. It was someone else. If that someone was here would their teacher act differently. "Arata sensei," Izuku whispered fearfully not entirely sure what to do. that's when he noticed something in the corner of his eyes. the other students were too horrifically entranced by their sensei's brutality they didn't notice. Thankfully, he did. "Look out!" Izuku yelled while dashing at his classmates.
They were all forced down at the nick of time as a set of bladed tentacles swiped at their heads. They each gave out a scream when they saw the creatures that their sensei twisted into pretzels where slowly unknotting themselves. It was a slow process but that didn't make it any less terrified watching them span their mangled bodies snap into place. the three of them roared with this alien tone.
Hearing the ruckus, Arata immediately panicked. The glow of his eyes faded as he turned towards his students. "Izuku!" it was a fatal error.
Slash! Blood spilled down from the railings. An immense stabbing pain speared through the hero's side. "Sensei!" the students screamed in horror as they saw their teacher got stabbed by multiple scissors like blades at his side. Forming a sizable hold in his abdomen. the pain on his face was clear as if wrinkled. His eyes twitch erratically as they shoot a glare behind him.
The villain was grinning with stick satisfaction. "You're not so tough now. Are you, Arata Darewell?" Swiftly, the villain's twisted his scissor fingers and yacked them out form Arata's body. Blooded rained from the blades as it gushed out of the hero's body. The haunting imagery was something they would all remember.
Then Arata closed his eyes. His body lost all sense of strength and it tumbled over the side of the rail. His students hurried to catch them which they did. It was disgusting feeling. Having their sensei's blood cover them. Mikoyasaha was quick to action. Ripping apart, a portion of her clothes and using them as makeshift bandages. Anything to stop the excessive bleeding. The others followed offering their ripped fabrics of extra. They were going to need as much as they could get given the size of the wound. Then the girl got to work using her healing flames quirk to close the wound as quickly as possible. she wasn't sure if she could manage. She never had to heal I woman this big before, but she was certainly going to try.
The villain's cackle couldn't be more joyous. Watching the children attempt to save their dying teacher was just too humours. His wicked gaze landed at the three monsters. "Incredible aren't they. Genetically made weapons with any slice of quirks imaginable. Nomus I believe they are called. They're quite resilient things." The nomus become stationary. All they need now was an order. "You with the wings to me. the rest of you makes sure you kill those kids."
The nomus howled alive again. The two bigger ones dashed right for the children to attack. That's when Allen stepped up to bar and activated his giant armoured hand. He used it to shield him and the others. However, with two nomus dashing at him, he wasn't so sure how long he could hold up the line. The third nomu flew up to the railing where the villain was waiting. The creature hooked their arms around the villain's waist while he held the data file firmly in hand.
The child that collided with him rushed up in a panic. "What about me? We had a deal."
"Don't worry your mother will be fine. I'll be sure she dies peacefully." He replied with a sadistic grin. "Besides I can't afford any lose ends." Fear flared in the child's eyes as the man stepped closer and pushed him off the railings. With that job done the villain began his escaped with the flying nomu as his getaway.
The student screamed as he fell to the battle below. He was going to get crushed by the monstrous hand of the nomu if it wasn't for Click reeling him in with his quirk. The change of trajectory made him fall behind the safety on the Allen's armoured arm which he slid down on. Izuku managed to catch him before he could land on concrete. His heart racing, he panted a sigh of relief, "thank you."
"Don't thank us yet." Allen growled. Beads of sweat fell from his forehead has his breathing grew heavier. Although Allen's armoured arm seemed impenetrable it too has it's limits. He can take so many hits from a pair of nomus before it deactivates. Sooner if he's hungry or tired. "I hate to be the bear of bad news, guys. But I don't know how much longer I can last like this. I'm run out of energy."
"Energy?" Mikoaysaha whispered to herself while continually trying to heal their teacher's wounds. That when it hit her. "Hurry one of you reach into my pockets." Not asking questions they did as told and found a hand full of something warping thin cling film. On closer inspection it looked like some sort of breakfast bar with oats, berries and some other odd things they couldn't recognised compacted together. The question of what it was came to all of their minds, so the girl explained. "They're the stamina bars a told you about. It's what Heart and my brother have been working on for the last few days. It's supposed to make you feel full and rejuvenate your energy levels."
That was all Izuku needed to hear. He ripped apart the cling film wrapping and shoved the bar right into Allen's mouth. it was hard to chew on but once he got it down his throat, he felt the bar's desired effect worked instantly. He suddenly didn't feel as tired and feel like he had a whole meal. Feeling invigorate, Allen had enough strength to fight back. With a swipe of his arm he forced the nomus back giving them some breathing room. Still, they will be back on the feet in seconds.
Izuku had to think fast. The villain was getting way, their teacher is injured and they've facing against two monsters. To make matters worse only one of them had the quirk strength to fight back. Those are a lot of problems with very few solutions. Allen couldn't possibly last fighting on his own. Neither Click or him had the power to help. He was quirkless and Click's quirk specialised it movement and throwing objects. His strings would be too weak to restrain those things and there was nothing around them light enough for him to threw as a weapon. Miko was too focused healing their sensei to help Allen. And if they try to run after the villain now one of the nomus would surely stop them if Allen can't contain both. That when he realised there was one last variable he didn't account for. His green eyes sharped at the redhead betrayed by the villain. He was cowering behind Allen. Unsure of what to do or contemplating his death. Firmly, the young detective placed his hands on the boy's shoulders. "Your quirk allows you to copy body parts, right?"
A little surprised by the question, he nodded his head for a yes.
"Can you copy body parts related to a quirk that makes them transform. Or maybe a mutant quirk."
"Well, I copied my mutant's friend arm once. I just have to be touching the body part I'm trying to copy with my matching counterpart."
"Good enough for me." Izuku quickly grabbed the boy's gloved hand and slammed on to Allen's metal arm. Instantly it transformed into a matching carbon copy. The boy freaked out about the sudden new weight the appendage he was given as well as the sudden attack the nomu did on it. The funny think was it didn't really hurt. Their punches and claws felt more like pricks and tickles. He could get use it. Izuku clasped a hand on both of them. "I'm counting on you to keep those beasts and protect Tashio and sensei. With any luck Sensei will wake up."
"Right," Allen nodded while clawing back at the nomus.
"I don't know about this. I'm not a fighter," the older student yelled fearfully.
Izuku's eyes darken at the student. He didn't remember asking a question or giving any form of a suggestion. "If you don't, you'll die here with us. The villain will have his victory and your mother... I think you know where I'm getting at." Gulping the student tried his best to keep up with Allen's movements and block off the nomus. Izuku then turned to Mikoyasha and Click. "Tashio. Keep working on Arata. Try and wake him up if you can. Click you're with me. We can't let that villain win."
"Got it," Click hook an arm around Izuku and use the other to latch his strings up at the railing. The two of them shot up. The two nomus tried to stop them but Allen and the other student manged to kept them at bay. This allowed them to escape.
Meanwhile, the villain was fighting off with his precious cargo in hand. The transaction went a little messier than what he originally planned. He at least hoped to convert Izuku to their side. The boy would have been an interesting test subject for his new master. Oh well at least he got rid of that annoying Arata in a more prudent matter. An unexpected bonus but a bonus none the less. All he had to do now was contact the boss. He fished out a flip phone from his inside pocket and detail the only number. "Hello. It's me. I'm here to report…"
Bang!
The sudden loud sound shocked him so much he lost his grip on his phone. He watched the device fell till it was out of sight. "What on earth?"
Bang! Bang! Bang!
Soon after the noise pass, he noticed that they were losing altitude. Even more odd the nomu stopped mid-flight. Its grunts and screeched as if it was caught on something. Looking up he noticed a substantial number of holes on the creature's wings. They panicked more when they saw what appeared to be a buddled of wire strings snared at one of their legs. Following the strings with his eyes found a pair of brats. Izuku with a fake small handgun and Click pulling on the stings. "Those little nuisances," the villain growled under his breath.
Izuku lowered his bb gun, "I don't have any more ammo. And that thing can regenerate. Can you reel them in?"
"I think so," Click huffed while yanking on his sting hard. He brought one of his hands behind him and attached another set of strings on a nearby pipe just so he wouldn't be sent flying. Still the sensation of his body being pulled apart wasn't a pleasant one. "Although some help would be nice." Izuku instantly helped. With the two combined they slowly hosed the creature down.
"I don't think so," the villain his. He thrusted his body forward making the nomu follow suit. He bent down look enough it reached the nomu's snared leg. His hands transformed to sectors and chopped the sting off. This was his mistakes. Although the sting attached to the nomu went limb the unattached string looked like it had a mind of its own. They snaked their way up the villain's arm clamping his scissor hands up. It as annoying. "Shake them off." The nomu tried to do as commanded but the strings were surprisingly stronger. Even more so when they were in buddle and layered on top of each other like they were to the villain's arms. The creature ended up flying in circles making the villain he was holding rather dizzying. In the mist of his blurred version, he saw something green come closer. When his vison focused back, he saw Izuku climbing up the stings like a rope. Griped in his mouth was the hilt of a broken blade.
On the final stretch of string, Izuku gripped on tighter and then yelled himself forward. With some effort he hosted himself on the nomu's waist making the create panic. It flew erratically in all directions but that wasn't enough to shake Izuku off. Not when he was climbing forward to the part he was hoping to get. It's back wing join. He spit out his broken blade into his free hand. Using his other hand to keep himself in place, he began to saw threw the nomu's wing joint. This thing used to cut mental like butter. Even now that it was shattered to pieces its sharp edge was still sharp. With one firm slice he cut through the wing joint. With one of its wings missing the nomu began to fall. Izuku found himself flying over the creature's shoulder as gravity took them down. So, he anchored himself down by stabling what little remains of the broken blade into the creates back. then held on to it for dear life hoping for the best.
It was easier to force the nomu down thank to the loss of a wing. However, means they were falling fast hard. With the added weight of Izuku they will have a hard landing. Click yanked at his stings even harder so they wouldn't fall of the edge of the building.
Soon enough the grouped made impact. The nomu took the brunt of the fall, landing face first into the concrete. Their hold on their cargo loosened as the villain to smash down hard as well. The second they made impact since Izuku was luckily on the nomu's back his body merely jolted upward. His broken sword that was still attached to the monster dislodged itself and Izuku was flung off. His body rolled across the surface until it eventually halted on his own. Growing in pain, his eyes soon spotted the data cartridge. Grinning, Izuku forced his aching body up and dashed for the device. His hand griped the handle and that was that. he successfully obtained the stolen data.
Slash.
"Ah," Izuku screamed as he felt something scratch his leg. He soon stumbled and found that his leg was indeed cut a lot with his trousers. In his haste he failed to notice the villain not too far from the cartage he was previously caring.
The old man maybe battered but he was clearly not giving him. He rose and took an unsteady step forward to Izuku. His eyes now filled with wicked kill intent. "Give that back you brat," he demanded darkly. His fingers now back to their scissor like from clawed at the child.
Not letting go of the cartridge, Izuku rolled to safety. He got his footing back and twisted a round. A hand had of scissor blades slashes at him. Quickly he blocked them using his bloody broken blade.
The villain laughed. "You expect to beat me with that puny thing. It's not even a full sword."
"I can try, can't I?" Izuku taunted. He blocked another attack from the scissor hands and then another. He was in a clear disadvantage and was forced to retreat with each strike. Still, that didn't mean the villain was any closer in getting a clear hit. Or retrieve the data he worked so hard to steal.
Frustration painted his wrinkled face. He lifted one of his arms high and slashed it down as hard as he could with frantic cry. This impatient movements proved to be his downfall as Izuku dodged the slash at the last second. With the force he placed on the hand it impaled itself deep into the concrete. No matter how hard he tried to pull his hand was completely stuck.
Taking the prime opportunity, Izuku jumped and landed heel first into the villains trapped hand. The forced embedded the hand deeper and most likely broke it. For good measures Izuku dug his heel in the hand. The action would almost be considered sadistic. The why he was smiling so smugly didn't help things.
Once again, the villain screeched. His glaring eyes burned with hate for the quirkless boy. How dare he humiliate him like this. How dare he smile like that. It was so irritating. With his only free hand he thrusted forward at the boy. once again it did nothing. Izuku easily blocked the hand of scissors blades and pushed it back. "Damn you." His luck and chances of victory further fell as an army strings wrapped around his scissor hand and shut them tight.
"Don't forget I'm still here," click called out pulling on his stings. This voiced the villain's arms back. now he was truly trapped.
Once again Izuku took this prime opportunity. Using the data cartridge, the boy smacked the trapped villain across the face. "That was for framing Shishikura," he yelled. Then he smacked the villain again on the other cheek. "That was for blackmailing a student to do your dirty work." He reangled the cartridge and strike lower. This time he smashed the villain's bottom jaw with the slight sharp edge of the cartridge. The was a hard crack once it made contact. Izuku could care less. "That was for trying to kill me and my classmates."
The villain's head dropped down. His head was barely operating. Not with the waves of pain it received. Blood trickled down the corner of his nose. He could feel them swelling up. Mistakenly, he decided to look up. His growl soon changed to horror. It was a sight he won't soon forget.
A menacing pair of wide green eyes glared down at him. They were almost a perfect match to Arata who bore a similar expression to him. Since the villain was hunched down the boy looked so tall. Monstrous with one of his arm's lifted high. The dark night sky only added to the ominous image. The moon shone brightly behind him darkening the shadows across his face. The only stand out future was his green eyes glowing it that darkness. "And this if for Arata sensei," he whispered darkly before crashing down the data cartridge right on the villain's skull.
That final hit was the end for him. His body slumped forward unable to hold itself further.
Cautiously, Click slid up to Izuku while retracting back his strings. "Hum…don't you think that was a little over kill?"
"No," the quirkless boy stated casually. "This would be overkill." He then lifted his broken blade. It still dripped with the blood of the nomu that he stabbed.
"…point taken." Quite literally one may add.
"AHSHHHSHHH!" shirked a voice.
The boys turned around to see the flying nomu was back on its feet. It's broken wing recovered, and its dead eyes were aimed at them. Both boys took a fighting stance. "You think we can win?" Click asked.
"We…can try," Izuku admitted. Not sounding all too hopeful.
Then there was a gust of winds. Both boys felt themselves moving yet not moving at the same time. it all happened so quickly none of them could truly comprehend what just happened. All they knew was when the odd second motion stopped, they somehow changed locations. They were back in the warehouse floor. Standing beside them was an equally confused Allen and the second-year student he was with. They stared at each other wonder how the other two got there. Another odd thing they were quick to noticed was the monsters they were fight were tied up in what looked to be construction pipes. What on earth. "Hum…do you two know what happen?" Click asked.
"There was a gust of wind. Then the monsters were gone and are now over there. Then you two appeared," Allen explained not completely believing his own words.
There was another gushed of wind. Appearing before them was someone none of them expected. "FEAR NOT CHILDREN! FOR I AM HERE!" All Might in all his blue, white, red muscle glory was standing in front of them proudly with the villain they dangled in his arms hand cuffed. As usual his smile was blinding. "I hope you don't mind but I brought alone some friends!"
As if on que the doors of the warehouse burst open. Policed came pouring in on all sides. Leading the charge was detective Naomasa of all people. With a megaphone in his hands, he barked out orders. "Secure the premises. Get those villains to custody and someone please look at the children."
Of course, the children were in shock. "How did you all find us?"
"Ahh well," The hero scratched his nose. his blue eyes shifted to the side. "Funny story. I was at the edge of town for my friend over there," he pointed an arm at the busy detective. He was still scurrying around giving out orders. The other police followed to the letter. Then All Might continue, "We were having roman and then this voice called us."
"A voice?"
"Yeah, it was odd." He pointed to his head "it sounded like it was coming from my head. Someone begging me to save their students. Even gave an exact location. They sounded really hurt too."
"Sounded really hurt?" Izuku eyes widen once he put all the dots. Then he hastily turned around. "Sensei!"
The man was still in Mikoyasha's lap. The look on her face did not give positive expression. The hands were still pressed firmly at their teacher's stomach. With all the blood it was hard to tell if they successfully healed the wound he received. The girl's arms were trembling. When she heard the footsteps of her classmates they only trembled more. regrettably, she looked at them. tears ran across her face. "I'm sorry. I don't know if I can do anymore," she stuttered. "I think I closed up the wound…but there's so much blood loss…his heart is so faint. I don't know…" she could say any more. She pressed in her own bloodied hands on her face sobbed. Her friend Allen was quick to her side to comfort her.
Click wore a worried expression. He knelt next to them. A part of him wanted to inspect their teacher but another part of him was too scared to. Even the other student couldn't come any closer. Not when he knew he was a part of this mess.
However, Izuku was the worst of them. He did his best to smile like his teacher told him but couldn't completely fight of this sinking feeling. So, he tried to logic his way out. "Don't worry guys. He's fine. Sensei has a psychic type of quirk. That means it requires him to remain conscious. If he sent out that message that means he's ok." He just had to be. He couldn't image…the worst. He stepped closer. Still with that desperate smile. "I know you're ok, sensei. Stop playing around."
The man remained still. Almost lifeless.
"This isn't funny anymore sensei." Izuku dropped to his knees and shook the man's arm. Still, he didn't response. His face looked paler than usual. Could it be from the blood lost. There was a lot of blood but…not enough to…he just had to be ok. "Sensei, sensei, Arata sensei." Called out again. "Wake up Arata. Please wake up. you're scaring me." His fear overtook him. His smile was lost. No twisted around as his eyes dripped with tears. "Sensei."
"Back up kids. This man needs medical help now." An officer told them calmly. With no other choice the children backed away from their teacher allowing the cops to do their job. The quickly and carefully placed him on a stretcher. Examined his vitals. The looks they exchanged to each other didn't look promising.
"Hahahaha…" the villain laughed finally getting conciseness. "Looks like I managed to succeed in one of my tasks. That walking security camera won't be a problem anymore."
Something snapped within Izuku when he heard those word spouted. His pained and worried expression grew darker and derange. His snapped his head at the villain. He was still laughing his head off as if this whole situation was funny. Fighting for their lives was funny. Hurting their teacher was funny. Them crying out to his still body was funny. Oh no. Not to him. None of this was funny. This was stick. Laughing at this was pure disgust. He wouldn't allow this laugher to go unchecked. With answer on his heel, he dashed forward to the cackling villain. His speed and agility were unexpected. Officers in the way instinctively jumped out in fear of colliding with this unstoppable force.
Some tried to stop him. Detective Naomasa was one such. "Izuku what are you doing?"
All Might wanted to stop him, but he was all too shocked to make a move. He tried to picture that boy on the roof top, the boy from the exams and this boy now as the same person. It was hard to believe. The boy from the roof top was too fragile. Even more so when he incidentally had to crush his dreams. That frailness was gone during the U.A exams. Sure, he was hesitated but when someone called for help, he jumped into action. Just like the sludge monster incident. Now he looked like something else. The look in his eyes looked far too much like someone he'd rather not remember. The anger and hate. It didn't suit the boy at all.
Izuku ignored all of it. the yelling. The demands to stand back. He was not going to let anyone get in his way. Dodging more officers that were trying to stop him he finally reached his target. With a clenched fists he hammered a furious attack at the villain's mouth shutting up their laughter. The impact causing the villain to fly a good foot away. They coughed a little blood but did Izuku care? No. without mercy, the boy hoisted the villain up by the collar and forced him to face him. "How dare you laugh at our expense. What kind of sicko are? Do you really feel pleasure in harming others? You where supposedly loyal to the academy all your life and that changed because what? Power? What use it power if you use it to hurt others."
"Haha…you're too young and naive to understand," the villain said drowsily. Still drunk form the pain. "You should have accepted my offer. You would have been the perfect canvas. I super soldier even instead of a weak, quirkless child."
This made Izuku angrier. "I maybe quirkless." He readied his fist again. "But that doesn't make me weak." Before his fist could meet with the villain's face yet again a familiar voice called out to him.
"Well said my boy," said a weak, but cheeky voice. "But you forgot your smile,"
Stopping himself mid punch Izuku turned around. The light of hope returning to his eyes. There still laying on his back but very much a wake was Arata smiling softly at him. Tears of relief replaced his worried ones. "Sensei!" Grinning while crying, he rushed back to him. without even thinking he jumped the man in a hug crying him his chest. "I was so scared."
Arata accepted the boy's hug even if it was painful. He didn't show it however has he held the boy softly. Stoking the back of his head with affection. "Hey, didn't I told you to smile no matter what?"
The boy laughed and lifted his socking mess of a face up at the man. He was smile from ear to ear. He was just so happy to see his sensei was alright. "I'm smiling, see?"
Arata smiled back patting the boy's head. "That's my boy."
His other students crowded him. relieved that he was ok. "You really scared us there, sensei. You weren't' responding at all."
Unexpectedly, the teacher looked at his students confused. "Do I know you?" he asked. The most concerning thing was that he sounded genuine.
"We're your students," Click explained.
The man looked even more confused. "My students? You don't look like anything like my students. In fact, you don't look like any student I have seen in the academy."
"What do you mean we're you're first years."
"First years? But I have a set of third years. They'll be graduating soon." If that wasn't concerning enough a drop of blood ran down the man's head. his confused and now once again frightened students watched in horror. Feeling the trop run down Arata touched it. He noticed the blood that coated his fingers and laughed. It was a sad laugh yet one that wasn't surprised. "Oh dear," he whispered sadly with a smile. "I seems like I forgotten something again."
AN: I'm so close. Soon this will be over, and I can get out of this uniform. Next one's the aftermath. Then off back to present time to end this mess. For anyone still here I applause your patience and tolerance. I know this isn't the best but damn it I'm still going to try and reach a kind of ending.
