So, another day for Marcy in Royal Woods and she wants to obviously check out everything the town has and know more about what it's been through, and then she might be able to have some friends and possibly… A Temporary family, like how Anne had hers within the Plantars. Enjoy reading guys.

Chapter 740: Another day for Marcy.
(August 2, Royal Woods.)
Now we go to Gus' Games n' Grub, and Lincoln along with his friends are surprised to see how Marcy Wu is doing. "Dude, this is the tenth game she's played and she's a dang pro at this" said Kick. "Look."
They see that Marcy is beating the high score on the video game: Need for Speed. Linka smirks. "Wow. She is one ace in the hole, and she'd make a perfect asset for the Royal Woods Middle School Gamers Club. I mean, she is a gaming machine!"
"No kidding" said Zach. "She beat my record on some of the games, and now her name is on all the high scores. How many games has she played and beaten?"
Timmy goes through the games she aced. "Well, all of them. This is the last one, and it's just Pac-Man, and she's beating my high score. Heck, she aced the hoops game and showed us that she can be physical when it counts. Looks like being in Amphibia helped her huh."
"And from what you guys told us, she didn't partake in gym much" said Tabby. "She seemed to be more into reading and gaming. Straight A's and all that."
"Sooo. When does Marcy Wu start schooling?" asked Clyde. "I mean, she is 13 and she needs to go to school, she's bound to be in the same league as us, right?"
Lincoln recalls that one. "Well, from what Michelle told us last night. She wants to be there to support Marty, something tells me she's gonna be acting as the surrogate mom for Marcy until she can get back home. So, chances she'll go to school at the same time as we do."
Jordan nods. "She might also end up trying to reason with us to come onto one of our missions, but for that to go down, she has to prove it to us. Chances she'll need to show us what she can do at the training grounds in the Royal Fortress, but the big issue is that she can be insanely clumsy."
"She may have changed so much living in Amphibia, but chances her clumsiness is still around" said Linka. "So, we're all gonna need to keep a sharp eye on her and don't let her do something that would be super bad."
Simon sighs. "This is gonna be a very interesting summer, and we've yet to interact more with Rusty after what he did to get into trouble."
Stella nods. "No kidding." She then looks to Marcy who cheer after beating the high score. "I can't believe she sounds just like me, this is so weird. I mean, if she goes to school with us, it's gonna be confusing right?"
They all begin to talk about that, and then they watch Marcy go and grab a prize after claiming more than 55,000 tickets. "She's gonna beat all of us in games" said Trent. "We're doomed."
(The Royal Woods Mall.)
The group are at the mall, and have done their shopping. They all went to different locations to buy some stuff that might be interesting, but the one person in the group who went on her own shopping spree was Marcy, but she seemed more interested in the stuff she likes.
They have already gone to the book store, in which Marcy wanted to check out some of the books they have which are based off of the history she seems to know, but she seems interested in some of the books with adventure and magic within them.
Such as The Lord of the Rings, the Hobbit and Harry Potter books. She seemed less interested in the Twilight stuff, but she can tell that Sasha and possibly Anne would've wanted to read those.
They head over to the video game store, where Marcy would see the many video games they have, and she wants to try them all out, but they think it's best she sticks with one first. She seems really persistent to trying a game to beat.
Lincoln is concerned over this and it seems like an obsession for Marcy to face a challenge, or puzzle. So, they got her a Nintendo Switch.
But she also seemed to be interested in the puzzle board games they had selling there too, and she seemed pretty fond of this board game called: Dungeons and Dragons. Sam recalls, that her dad Peter played it with Neil, Leon and Sergei and it didn't end well for all three of them.
They head over to the electronics store, and Michelle purchases a cellphone for Marcy to use, because her other one seems to be a bit busted after the fight at Newtopia, and this new phone has more memory and battery power.
Marcy seems fine with this, and she even seems interested in the other electronics she has never encountered before.
Soon, they're all at the Food Court, and they see the bags Marcy has are many and she can carry them all. "Wow. This mall is amazing, and bigger than the one I went to some times." Marcy looks around at the folks walking by. "I mean, I never knew there'd be so many interesting things around here."
"Also, this place is way less boring than the mall I went to… Heck, I think Sasha and Anne would've loved this place…." She then eats the food that Michelle got for them and Marcy has tears eating.
This concerns the others. "Marcy, are you alright?" asked Michelle.
Marcy nods. "I am, it's just… I haven't quite eaten any food like this in a long, long time. I seemed to have been more dependent eating on insects back at Amphibia, like a lot."
They all smile hearing this, Marcy is adapting well to the standards of Royal Woods, and she seems quite emotional when recalling some stuff going around the place, and they know that it reminds her of home and… And her two friends.
Luna thinks about how this would turn out for her when she goes to school. 'Marcy is still 13, and she's gotta go to her next level of classes when she goes to Royal Woods Middle School. I just hope Michelle knows what she's doing with this plan.'
(Ketcham Park.)
Now at the park, with the stuff they got all in the cars, and Marcy goes around the Park and she interacts with most of the Pokémon wildlife wandering around there. Marcy goes over and she watches some Diglet helping plant some new trees and she spots a snoozing Shiftry on the tree nearby.
Marcy then takes some selfies of herself for the first time with a Pokémon, and that Pokémon is Froakie, and the Pokémon hops away back into the lake.
While she's doing this: Lincoln, Luna, Sam and Michelle are at the picnic bench and watching her go around. "She sure has a lot of energy inside of her, I can't believe she can go one whole day and not even get tired, but just hungry" said Sam.
"From what we do recall from Gyro, she seems adventurous and curious" said Lincoln. "You know, it was only days ago she was upset and looking depressed and now look at Marcy Wu, she just got back up and is now exploring everything this town has for her. She seems fine, or normal in her own way."
"Yeah, but there's gotta be something going on inside of her, dudes" said Luna, she seemed concerned. "I mean, she seems alright trying to see what our world's got and chances she'll ask to go to other worlds, but deep down, she's still in pain. The pain of her biggest mistake, and we all know what that is."
Lincoln, Sam and Michelle nod. They continue to watch as Marcy interacts with the Butterfree flying around, and then she spots the Garden Worms are basking in the sun, but they retreat into the water when she goes near them.
Michelle smiles seeing this. "Guys, I know some of you have doubts about what I chose, and I know the guardian, the guy I am dating might not be pleased about this… But, I think being her surrogate mom is a good idea. Marcy needs someone to be there for her and support her all the way."
"Sure, she might be able to make some friends here in town and gain their trust and friendship, but she needs family. I mean, her parents back home might be proud of her for being one heck of a student, but she might need a parent who can understand her ordeals."
"She doesn't wanna be alone, she has fun being adventurous and trying to learn new things, she seems to be capable of doing stuff that most can't do, even though she is clumsy, she is skilled and determined to finish the task at hand, and most of all…. She wants others to understand her, and be there for her."
"Anne was her first friend, and those two shared a good bond, and Marcy relied on her to keep her from getting into trouble, and yet she tries to show she doesn't need help, and then Sasha showed up and she kept an eye on them, and became the bossy leader of the pack."
"Marcy needs to learn to try and do things on her own, even when she says she can, it seems like she can't, and that she needs some folks by her side, and I wanna be one of those folks she can be by her. I still need to talk to Neil about taking her in as my…"
"Mom?" They look to Marcy who is in front of them. "You wanna be my surrogate mom? Or, temporary mom?"
They realized that they were too busy talking to each other, they didn't notice Marcy was headed towards them. Michelle gets up. "Marcy, I know that this is…."
Marcy goes over and hugs her, and so Michelle returns the embrace. "It's alright. We're all here for you, I'm here for you."
The others smile seeing this, and the tears of joy coming from Marcy, they know she would trust Michelle because she was the first person she spoke and seen when she woke up, and obviously she can fully trust someone who can keep her calm and tell her what's happening.
Michelle continues to embrace the girl and calm her down, and then she too has some tears of joy. Having the feeling of being there for this girl who is lost and in need of comfort and support.
They don't know that Linka and Jordan also see this, and then Leni, Loni, Luan, Lori, Dana, Becky, Carol, Leon, Sergei, Loona and they're pups, Ember, Peter, Simon, the Dazzles and Duchess. They all know one thing. 'Looks like Michelle's plan might just work after all. But she still has to watch over that girl and her clumsiness.'
(FutureTech.)
Located at the lab, the trip of the place watch as the portal to the Infinite Corridor is open and coming out is Gyro and he seems dizzy. "Wow. That shit was crazy, alright the job is done."
Jack Cyber then asks. "So, locked down the world of Amphibia from our world and the web of the multiverse and other worlds?"
Gyro nods. "Yes, yes. All done, but there seems to be tons of other worlds I need to keep track on, but there is just so many. I need to go and consult with the Xel'Naga, I'll see you guys next time." Gyro gets ready to leave the room.
Martin then asks. "So, all we gotta do now is keep track in there will be more unexpected worlds and portal openings coming?"
Gyro turns around and nods. "Dang right, also I will need to talk to Marcy soon about her damned actions of how she got herself and her friends trapped in Amphibia, and I also wanna check out how Boomer is with his infant son too. I missed so much in this world."
Victor smirks. "Yeah, you missed so much when you wend Missing in Action, dude."
Gyro chuckles. "Dang right, also tomorrow is your birthday right Victor? Well, I will be there if there is gonna be a party, and you are turning 22 right? Alright, well I am going now. Bye lads." He turns into a raven and flies out of the place.
Victor is annoyed and sighs. "I'm gonna be 25 asshole! Fuck, the hell is wrong with him?" He then looks to Martin and Jack Cyber. "Guys, no surprise parties. We're not having a repeat like last year."

A/N: Looks like Marcy Wu is handling well, and she seems to be making friends with them, and she has yet to visit Great Lakes City too, but she will soon, and she might be surprised when she might listen to what Michelle has surprised for her soon. Leave a review and tell me what you all think.
