"My god... it actually worked." I hear Lilith mutter behind me.

"Let's take the fight to Jack!" I cheer as I raise my hands above my head.

The key frees itself from the hole in the ground and floats upwards, Lilith takes the key and slowly floats over to me, she brushes a hand across her head as she nears. "How the hell are you not being cooked alive by that thing? Its body heat is intense enough for me to feel it even back here."

"Fire immunity." I shrug catching the key as she tosses it to me.

"Hn." She hums with slight annoyance, seemingly pouting over how I always get the cool shit.

"Let's get back to Sanctuary before Jack attacks it again." She states as she turns and floats away.

The warrior slowly prowls behind me as I walk over to the group, it looks over all of them slowly.

"Lilith! Roland! Shit! Jack showed up and he's got a big ass fucking monster! What the hell even is that thing?!"

"Morde?!" Lilith asks.

"The son of a bitch brought more loaders too. They are about to break through the damned wall! We are keeping them back with the Cannons, but with the loaders and that thing... we won't last long!"

"Monster fight." I whisper under my breath before I look to Lilith. "Teleport us, Lilith."

"I've never teleported something that large before!" She responds.

"Well, you have to, Lilith, but everyone but you, Maya, Gaige and I are going to be vomiting their guts out when we get there, so you should put them inside Sanctuary when you get there!"

She sucks in a sharp breath as a purple glow passes over everyone... including the giant monster. "Here we go..."

*FLASH*

Pov: Elsewhere.

The sounds of explosions rock Sanctuary, a Hyperion loader of massive scale crashes through the shoddily repaired wall protecting the one bridge to Sanctuary, it wasn't even a month ago that the exact same thing happened, however this new loader is much larger, easily thrice the height, with thrice the weaponry.

Green bullets impact the robot's hull, sparks flash around it as a see-through barrier springs to life around it and absorbs the attacks.

A man wearing a helmet with a built in gas mask and red tinted goggles ducks behind a wall as dozens of turrets upon the yellow loader bot's hull spark to life, the sounds of bullets ricocheting off several inches of metal reaches his ears.

He has yet another thing to thank the kid for... without his fabricator these metal walls would have been impossible... and he would have been rendered into nothing more than a puddle of meaty chunks.

He grips the black and green rifle in his hands, a scope that looks out of place sits atop it, the kid had given out dozens of these things to the crimson raiders, it is by far the best rifle he has ever seen. Makes killing stuff a breeze. With this new scope he added onto it, he can take the heads off things from nearly two thousand feet away.

Of course, he isn't thaaaat good of a shot, that one was mostly a fluke, but in the five hundred to one thousand foot range, with this rifle, with this scope, not many people can beat him out.

However, it really shines when you take it to a robot. Which is understandable considering he gave them out when they were being raided by Hyperion.

There is a loud explosion as the man peeks out, a cannon shell strikes the large yellow robot in the torso, sending it staggering back, shield flaring to life, from here he can see the word 'STRN' painted across the side.

Another man slides behind the barricade, rifle in hand, he nods his head at the original helmeted man. "Reiss."

"Jessup." The man nods back. "We're in deep shit right now."

The new man peeks around the corner of the barricade. "Shit! We've got Super Badass Loaders incoming."

"Shielded?" 'Reiss' asks.

Jessup pokes around the corner and squeezes off a shot, there is no real audible reaction- considering there is an active war going on all around- as he ducks back behind the wall.

"No, they're not. I took out a leg with one shot."

The barricade rattles as a missile crashes into the dirt just before it.

"Good." Reiss nods. "That means we can hamper them."

He peeks over the barricade and quickly lines up a shot, with a pull of the trigger a green splatter of corrosive fluid and machinery shoots out of the back of one of the nearing loaders, he twists and fires off three more shots, hitting the chest of another twice, causing its arms to snap off, and a final right in the neck.

"They're nearly to the bridge." He growls.

A second set of gunfire goes off as Jessup joins in, felling quite a few loaders.

The large yellow 'STRN' standing rooted in its spot staggers backwards as its shield breaks.

The two men dive back behind cover as the super badass loaders begin shooting back.

Jessup lets out a hiss as he takes a bullet to the shoulder, luckily he had a shield or he might have lost that arm.

He looks to his wrist where he spies a bar.

"Shields down to seventy five percent with one shot." He mutters.

"Did you never upgrade that damn rare shield?" Reiss asks.

"To be fair... I'm normally stuck on gate duty and all the shields in the medi-vendor are even worse than this one." The man replies.

"Fair." The original man shrugs.

He peeks out again shoots a few more bullets, he watches as the large loader eventually smashes to the ground. The attacks from the dozens of crimson raiders around finally getting through its armor and putting the large bot down for good.

A bunch of cheers fill the air as the two men smirk.

"Oh. Shame. You took down one... what about the other seven?"

The cheering stops abruptly as Handsome jack hacks into their echo devices.

A brilliant red light is shot towards them as an orange robot in the distance levels an absolutely titanic cannon at the front lines, while Saturn had possibly dozens of cannon-sized guns, the lone loader in the far back, towering over the super badass loaders, the same size as the one loader that just fell, has only a single gun, but it's the size of a building, It would be like comparing a rocket launcher to a pistol.

Red light reaches them as Sanctuary's shield springs to life, the wave of power slowly washes over them, crawling up the city-wide shield and dying out as it nearly eclipses it.

"Reiss!" A man calls out on the radio. "The shield can't take much more of that abuse! We need to find a way to stop it!"

Reiss clicks his tongue.

Getting over to that...

He looks over the massive swathe of loaderbots beyond the broken walks.

Impossible. There's no conceivable way to get over to it to stop it. Even in a suicidal attack, they would die long before reaching it.

It's like an ocean. Thousands upon thousands of loaderbots march along the ground, looking like some form of rippling metal sea, there are larger loaders here and there, larger loaders beyond that, then there are the seven remaining titanic loaders standing in the distance, their mere presence casting ominous shadows across the fields.

But by far the worst omen is that thing... standing in the far back. Its necks writhe and whip about in the air as it looks around, some form of drone is floating above it, slowly circling around it, almost lazily.

They are waiting for something... but what? The vault hunters maybe? That's the only thing he can think of.

But do they really deserve all of... this? Like, they are big threats, sure, but Jack looks to be throwing legitimately EVERYTHING he has at them. And judging by the hordes of marching loaders slowly creeping further and further, they might just run out of ammunition.

Reiss cups his chin. "Jessup. I want you to quickly go around, comms are compromised. Atlas protocol three seven eight. Tell the others to get it set up for my mark."

The other man quickly salutes Reiss. "Yes sir!"

He turns and quickly rushes across the clearing towards a large trench.

He dives in it as bullets whizz by him, a few bullet strike him as he collapses into the trench.

Reiss reaches for his echo device. "Shit! Jessup! Are you alright?"

A hiss comes through the echo device. "I'm fine- er- well, I'm alive... but my shield is down and the son of a bitch got me in the leg."

"Hey. You." He continues seemingly speaking to someone else. "Comms are compromised, Atlas Protocol three seven eight, Reiss' orders. Be ready and wait for his signal."

Another man speaks up on the other side of the echo. "I'll pass it on. You take a break, Jessup. I think we've got a health vial somewhere around here."

This is going to be rough, but they just might be able to hold out long enough for help to arrive.

Pov: elsewhere

A black haired girl sits alone in a room, facing the window as she stares out towards the front gates of Sanctuary.

She lets out a long sigh as she slowly lifts an arm, the same arm that used to be swirled with blue tattoos.

At first, she enjoyed not having them, but... she does sort of miss the white noise. She hadn't been able to sleep well due to the lack of it... far too quiet for her liking.

Plus, if she still had them, maybe she would have been of actual help to everyone instead of being nothing more than an atrophied girl who can barely walk under her own power.

She rubs a hand across her face as she lets out a weak groan.

She is talentless. She overly relied on her powers... there's nothing she can do.

She spies a couple of Torgue corporation's drones flying throughout the sky. They look nothing more than red cameras on tiny thrusters, how they manage to even stay stable is incredible.

The girl shivers.

This is all because of her.

Everything.

If she didn't have those damn- er- darn powers, Jack would have never been able to rise to power like this... if she didn't have those powers the key wouldn't be charged for another two hundred years or so.

If she didn't have those powers, New Haven never would have fallen...

And she nearly caused Sanctuary to fall... had they used any of the cores within that Hyperion transport, Jack would have ordered her to take the shield down.

A-and she'd be forced to do it.

Luckily, David had the foresight to warn them, otherwise Sanctuary would have died while they were at Torgue's tournament of carnage.

She watches the form of Saturn fall, eventually defeated by the hail of bullets, much like a human being stung to death by a horde of insects.

Morbid.

The girl shakes her head as a red wave crashes against the shield, it looked like it was going to wipe out those resisting, at the front doors to Sanctuary, but luckily someone activated the shield.

She just wishes she could do something to help.

Her eyes stray to an echo device sitting on the table beside her.

M-maybe?

Maybe she can help?

She has spent all of her life hacking into things... her home system shouldn't be all that difficult... she knows several bypasses. She can do it! She can help!

She reaches for the echo and powers it up, freezing as it opens up to the base internet.

She isn't in Hyperion's systems anymore...

She spent most of her time, when she wasn't 'assisting' the vault hunters, by hacking into the Hyperion systems and telling Jack how to fix them... it was just something to do... she would be relieved of boredom and Jack got stronger security... but it's really coming back to bite her.

Wait! There was one she hadn't explained how to fix yet! It should get her access to the older model basic loaders!

She is unable to know which loaders are 'older models', or how many Jack has brought with him, yet it should turn the tide of battle slightly. It'll by more time for the others to arrive with The Warrior!

She cracks her fingers, wincing slightly at the action, regretting her decision to crack her fingers briefly, then she begins hacking.

Pov: elsewhere.

A man sits in the cab of a space truck in low orbit, leaning back in the driver's seat as he watches several cameras stream right to his dashboard.

This is BADASS. Where else to you get to see such complete carnage! This is even better than that tournament he hosted! This'll absolutely bring in the views! They'll absolutely buy some Torgue Brand items so he can purchase himself a robot dinosaur car like that one dude from the tournament!

The loaders march forwards, they are being absolutely shredded... it's as if they are walking right into a meat grinder.

BADASS!

When The Anomaly said he had better things to do- not his exact words, he was polite... a REAL man is always polite!- DAMN did he mean it! Is this all he does? Badass thing after another badass thing? He can sure as hell wait on the turkey. This is exciting! This is breathtaking! This is almost as badass as him suplexing a shark wearing a bolo tie!

That was a fun commercial.

The badass CEO of the Torgue corporation frowns as he looks through the multiple camera feeds.

Where's his badass friends? Shouldn't they be on the front lines? Busting heads? Kicking ass?

A weaker man might have said they had run away, but Mr. Torgue knows for a fact that they are not those kind of people... after facing trial after trial, sand pirate adventure after sand pirate adventure...

There is only one thing they could possibly be doing right now.

"THEY ARE PREPARING A BADASS SURPRISE TO TURN THE TIDE OF BATTLE!" The man shouts with a cheer. "F*CK YEAH! MEDLY MEDLY MOOOOW!"

Pov: Elsewhere

"Stand still!" A girl snaps.

"Damn it, Ty! I'm trying!" A boy with a long robotic limb frowns as he holds up a radar dish far above his head.

"Try harder!" 'Ty' growls. "If dad finds out what we're doing, we're going to be grounded again."

"A little to the left." She continues as she looks down at the makeshift screen before her.

"This is a lot harder than it looks, Ty." The boy lowly growls as he slowly twists his wrist.

"OH! OH! I'm getting something! But's it's really unclear! A little more to the left."

The picture clears up revealing some sort of news... broadcast?

The edges of the screen are made of checkered flags, in the bottom corner is the blue word 'TORGUE' that looks like it was made on a license plate.

"What the hell is this..." The girl mutters.

"What is it, Ty?"

She slowly twists the screen around to show her brother as she takes a seat to the left of him.

On the screen is a war zone... a marching wall of robots slowly make their way towards a bridge, flashes of green cross the screen, shearing into the waves of robots, single bullets carving lines of destruction into the robotic front lines.

"Some sort of war?" The brother mutters. "Can they really just show this kind of stuff on Tv?"

"Who cares?!" The sister grins. "All this destruction is far more entertaining than whatever we could do on this planet!"

The brother clicks his teeth and grimaces. "Isn't it a little tasteless?"

"What? The fact that all these robots are being destroyed?" 'Ty' asks.

"I was talking about the potential for all those people to be slaughtered... but I am part robot so... yeeees?" The brother continues.

"Ugh. You pansy." The girl scoffs.

The robots reach the bridge and begin marching across.

The camera is suddenly rattled as the bridge is targeted by several cannons, they blow huge chunks out of it, slowing the robot advance as the bridge begins to shudder.

The canons return to shooting at the marching lines of robots, if they had to guess there would be easily hundreds of thousands of them. Their robot bodies are actually making massive mounds that block sight, every second, millions worth of robot parts are shoved into the trench separating the men from the bots.

The screen gains some static, causing the girl to look back to her brother. "Arm up, Cripple!"

His robotic limb had begun to sag, but he quickly redoubles his effort to keep the satellite dish aloft.

"This isn't easy Ty, my arm weighs like two hundred pounds, and this dish adds like another two or three hundred." The boy lowly growls.

"I gave you some of the serpent's power! You'll be fine."

The boy rolls his eyes and mutters under his breath. "Yeah, like four percent of it... four percent that was left after it had been dead for years."

The two silently watch the conflict with morbid interest, this is by far the most entertaining thing they have ever seen, even more entertaining than tormenting Nekrobugs.

Suddenly the fight seems to change, loaders abruptly turn on their allies, quickly sowing discord into the ranks of the robot wave.

There are dozens of explosions as suicide loaders blow themselves up, and other loaders pull the pin on their grenades.

A swathe of destruction is left in the army's wake, larger loaders quickly activate jet boosters to get off the ground and hop over the carnage, they land with loud thumps, dozens quickly picked off by gunfire from the men who spotted an opportunity to counterattack.

They seem to cheer, but the camera pans over the sea of loaders, it looks like a warzone, but several titanic robots loom in the background.

Suddenly a dark blue almost lapis colored robot begins marching forwards, crushing small loaders underfoot, it has two large shields on its arms which project a visible hard light barrier in front of it, it has four small cannons on its pointed chest, two above and two below, both barely peeking out of the barrier as it continues stepping forwards, on its side is the word "NPTN". a second absolutely titanic loader, this one a pale blue and designated "URNS" follows after, this one has two massive missile pods instead of arms, and two slightly smaller ones on its shoulders.

Shields crackle around them as thousands of loaders in the sea open fire on them, they seem to just ignore it as they continue stepping forwards.

Their mere presence and menacing stepping seems to silence the soldiers, causing the girl to let out a giggle. "Oh, look at how they scurry!"

Suddenly everything changes, the world is briefly tinted purple.

The purple glow eventually fades as an absolutely massive beast appears, it nears the height of the titanic loaders... and it is quadrupedal.

Its muscles ripple, its entire body looks as if it is made of molten rock and stone, two misty rock wings stick out of its back as it shakes its head and looks around.

There is a flash of purple as a figure, too far away to make out any details, floats up into the air, supported by two massive purple wings.

"A Siren?" The girl mutters, eyes glancing towards the tattoos coating her tanned left arm.

There is another flash of purple as several more figures disappear, leaving the sole siren as they land on the back of the large beast.

"I wonder what sort of powers she has..." The girl mutters.

The beast lurches forwards, clearing the bridge and canyon with a single leap.

"Now we get to see a giant monster fight giant robots?" The girl's brother asks. "Honestly that's pretty cool. Not going to lie."

Pov: Returned

*FLASH*

I blink the blinding purple light blinding away as Lilith lets out a pant and collapses to her knees.

I look around slowly.

Yes, this is the front of Sanctuary.

An army of loaders march towards us as the large beast shakes its head, seemingly not used to teleportation, it quickly recovers, however, and scans the battlefield.

The rest of the vault hunters begin vomiting aside from Maya, Gaige and Lilith.

"Lilith. Take the rest inside. I'll stall for a few minutes. Then once the others aren't sick anymore you can join in."

I look to the vault key floating above my hand and toss it to her.

She catches it then slowly nods. "Right."

Gaige slowly looks down and hugs me after a moment of contemplation. "Be safe, alright?"

"Don't worry about it. It'll take quite a bit to put me down for good."

I float off the ground, with a couple of flaps I reach The Warrior's head, I land atop it with a grin.

I grab onto one of its head spines and look down to the black metal bracelet on my wrist. "Hm. this would probably be a lot cooler if I had some background music..."

I let out a quiet huff of amusement. "And I know just the one."

A boom box appears in my hand as I step atop it and loop my foot through the handle.

*FLASH* Lilith takes the others away with her Phasewalk as I tilt my head to the left and right. I grin as I reach down and push the button to play what is in the boombox.

It's a light piano.

I pat one of The Warrior's large neck spikes and point forwards. "Fluffy... OBLITERATE!"

It lets out a shriek as it lunges forwards, galloping across the ground, it suddenly jumps, clearing the gorge and landing on the other side with a crash, crushing dozens of loaders underfoot.

It lets out a roar of challenge towards the two gigantic loaders which have ceased their approach.

It rears up on its hind legs as it takes a step forwards, it suddenly leaps forwards, a clawed hand raised as with a flap of its stoney wings it is propelled through the air.

The boombox suddenly shifts to a metal variant of the mighty morphin power rangers theme.

I let out a cackle as its clawed hand slashes against the twin barriers of Neptune, they skid off with a shower of sparks. The bracelet form of Excalibadass shifts into a strange railgun-looking sniper rifle, I lift it and shoot once as I hold it in one hand, the bullet passes in between the two barriers and smashes into the loader's hull, causing the shield to spark to life and crackle as electricity goes through it.

The Warrior- er, Fluffy- slams both of its forelimbs onto the barriers as its tail sweeps around behind it, clearing out hundreds of bots in one fell swoop, Neptune loses balance and crashes to the ground, Uranus Bot who was standing just behind levels its missile launchers at Fluffy, but he steps on top of Neptune and opens his mouth, blasting the bot that has a funny name with a bright orange beam that washes over the loader's shield, it staggers back, as after a moment the shield fades, its limbs and shoulders detonate, the missiles within exploding.

It collapses backwards, losing power completely due to damage.

Fluffy looks down at the large blue loader beneath him and begins to pry apart the two barriers.

"FLUFFY TO THE LEFT!" I shout.

He hops off loader and dives to the left, carving several large trenches in the dirt- plus the loaders beneath his feet- as he slides to a halt, and not a moment too soon, a massive red beam from a loader bot in the distance passes through the spot we were in moments before.

His tail flicks around, and with a sweeping motion he jabs the spear-like tip into Neptune's side, it pierces the metal and goes cleanly through the loader, the tip poking out the other side with a shower of sparks

Neptune's barriers fade as it falls limp, seemingly losing power, Fluffy rips his tail out of its side and lets out a low growl.

He shoots another beam, this one aimed for the large orange bot that just tried to kill us.

Another large loader leaps in the way, this one brown, blue, green, and white, the letters 'ERTH' are painted across its side.

The beam washes over this new loader and causes it to stagger backwards, the shield fades and some of the paint is stripped off it, but otherwise it looks fine, the beam must have been weakened from the distance.

Fluffy's tail lashes out and shoots a condensed purple beam towards the damaged loader, it passes through its hull completely and with a purple cascading explosion it collapses forwards, falling limp.

A slightly smaller loader- but still far larger than the super badass loaders- rushes forwards, its arms replaced with massive spears as rocket thrusters upon its back spit fire, it practically skates across the ground as its wheeled feet crash through any minor obstacle with ease, it has a silvery paint job and the designation 'MCRY'

Fluffy catches the two lances, stopping its charge while only being slid backwards a couple hundred feet.

He rips the two lances away from each other as I unload a trio of shots into the robot's torso, he then smashes his head into the robot's chest, caving it in and causing it to fall backwards.

He steps on it and causes fairly large explosions to spew from the defeated bot as it is crushed further, said explosions don't even phase my boy.

We are forced to dodge another laser beam as a red loader lands in our path, The Warrior's side smashes into it, allowing the loader to wrap its arms around the large vault beast.

Suddenly dozens of small hatches open revealing detonation charges.

"GET AWAY FROM IT!" I shout as I pause time, the music eerily stops abruptly as I leap off Fluffy.

I shift my sniper into its blade form, quickly sacrificing ten years to double my time stop duration.

I still have that one perk selected so I have around twenty six seconds to stop this.

A blade beam crashes into the shield, weakening it and causing a gap to appear as the shield fails, I cleave my blade through the arm, then quickly fly to the other arm and do the same, slicing it off like the last, I twist and unleash an absolutely brutal hail of punches against the red robot's torso, the word "MARS" on its chest.

I aim for that spot.

After about five seconds of absolutely wailing on it, I kick off it and fly back to my spot on fluffy.

'one hundred and eighty seconds to cooldown.'

I loop my foot back in the boombox's handle, my contact with it is the only thing preventing Fluffy's 'hot bod' from melting it into a pool of plastic and metal.

Time resumes a couple seconds later, the large loader's shield fails as fluffy raises a hind leg, its arms spark as they begin falling off fluffy, Mars is launched back by an unseen force just as fluffy's leg makes contact with it, the force of my punching and his kick not only propelling the loader's body away, it takes us into the sky with a couple flaps of Fluffy's wings.

He lands with a crash a couple hundred feet away, the loader detonates, the pure force of it causing my hair to ruffle all the way over here, my shield crackles from the shockwave as Fluffy staggers to the side.

If that had hit us... we- or, rather, Fluffy- would have died... I would have been able to escape with time stop, but I'm not confident in fighting thousands of loaders by myself.

"Kill the orange one." I state down to Fluffy as he shakes his head in annoyance from the shockwave.

He opens his mouth and unleashes a beam of orange energy towards the bot in question, the flames flicker across its shield, the beam lasts longer than the other times it has fired, after a couple moments The Warrior closes its mouth, its lava body seems to have cooled slightly, but the cannon loader 'JPTR' has its upper torso reduced to molten slag

And then there were one.

A single yellowish-brown loader stands in the way, its weapon of choice are two shoulder mounted cannons, on its side is the word 'VNUS'.

Another tail beam punches cleanly through it, I let out a hum of satisfaction, giving Fluffy a pat on the head as he lets out a couple rumbling pants of exhaustion.

I reach down and turn off the boombox, muttering an idle. "Maybe I should have gone with Pacific Rim..."

"Hn. The warrior really lives up to expectations, huh." A voice begins from my echo.

My eyes narrow as a single object floats before me, it appears to be similar to the Bunker, a large flat ship shaped roughly like an arrow, however it looks... strange... it's made of black metal and is about thirty feet long, it has a large black and red spire poking out from its underside, looking like it is partially made of crystal. however, there is something unsettling about it... it looks almost... Eridian.

The word 'PLUTO' is painted on the underside in a deep red color

Jack continues. "I mean, really, it rendered some of my greatest creations nothing more than scrap in under four minutes... that's some serious fire power. I had expected to take you both down with Mars, but you both have seriously exceeded my expectations. But they did their job. I'll rebuild them later. To go up against a vault monster? Yeah, they are worth the trillions to make them."

I give the floating ship a half-lidded glare as I slowly look around. "Alright where's your big beasty? I came here under the promise of a giant monster. I've brought my own. Let's boogie."

Jack is silent for about twenty seconds.

"It doesn't have to go like this brat..." Jack sighs. "This is your final chance. Give up. Leave pandora. I'll even let you keep the vault beast. Just go away. I'm begging you here, and damn it I've not begged one person since I've become CEO of Hyperion. I don't want to hurt you."

"We both know that this is how it has to be, Jack." I state with a pointed glare.

"You are so fucking STUBBORN." The man growls. "You want your vault monster fight? FINE. TAKE THIS!"

I hear the sound of jet thrusters...

A dark figure swoops throughout the clouds and crashes down behind us, The Warrior slowly turns to face it.

It is large, larger than The Warrior in fact, it stands on four limbs, body made of rock, some form of liquid seeps underneath, strikingly similar to the Warrior's except that it seems to be both orange, light blue, and lime green all at the same time. It prowls on four legs, has two long whip like tails with spikes upon the tips, the most striking thing about it is its three heads, each with a crown of horns upon it... three heads look down at Fluffy, the liquids seem to split, the leftmost head has green glowing veins throughout, the centermost head has orange, and the rightmost head has light blue.

It has visors over its eyes, a dim red glow slowly pulsing throughout each, grafted upon its back are two large wings made of solid steel, several jet thrusters line the bottoms as a large VTOL engine sits within the upper bend of the wings. They slowly fold out of the way as the beast shakes its heads, letting out low rumbling growls and glaring hatefully down at us.

Odiwavolmirjiracantis, The Artificial Vault Beast
"Vault Monster X" (Shit just got reaaaal)

"Ah. Shit." I mutter weakly.

A trio of roars fill my ears.

WELP! David's fucked! Maybe he should have accepted his chance to grab his shit- Primarily Gaige and Tina- and fuck off. Now he has to fight a Keizer Ghidora knockoff with a pet Godzilla.

And for the record, yes, it's a combination of the 3 raid boss kraggons from the pre sequel, Odjurymir, Iwajira and Volcantis. Now that I really think about it... The Warrior might just be an eridian modified Kraggon... both are made of rock and magma, both have four limbs (Or six in the legitimate BL2 warrior, which I scrapped because six legs look fucking stupid) both look similar to dragons... or maybe the Kraggon race was a prototype of The Warrior?

Anyways, now onto the Guest Reviews!

Guest reviews:

Aussiewolf: the problem with Jack is that he ALSO thinks that Sanctuary is full of bandits... I mean, he isn't wrong, but still! Also, no, this won't be a harem fic, sadly.

Also, a lot of people sort of shout about Gaige hitting David, I find it sort of confusing when one, it doesn't hurt him in the slightest and two, they don't actually consider the Borderlands universe overall... it's like casually acceptable to MURDER people. In one of Typhon's logs, he shoots someone and calls it a 'Pandoran Handshake'. This world is BEYOND fucked up. Even in calm cities you probably wouldn't be all that safe from death, like how canon Gaige jumps from sad and depressed about killing someone to shooting bandits in the head and giggling psychotically as she summons Deathtrap to disembowel them. I've taken a couple liberities to change stuff here and there, and if I could go back in time I would certainly make it so Gaige makes a lot more references to old earth movies and culture, but eh, I'm pretty satisfied with where the fic is at currently.

Guest 001:
I mean she technically could make an arm backpack, but eh, she hasn't really had time.

JustAFan123: I don't plan to continue the fic after the end of BL3, sadly... but I guess that can change. Who knows what the future might hold? But I'd definitely 'end' this fic and start another to catalogue their adventures at the very least.

M. Rose: GOOD!

Daisy: My motivation has been on point with this chapter! Who knows how long it'll last!

Nobody: I was thinking more of the beach Headhunter for a vacation.

Bitch: Thanks! I'm glad you like it!

Also! I just noticed that this story got over 200k words last chapter! And with this chapter it has surpassed all my other stories as the longest fic I have ever written. (also, Flame's Trash doesn't count because it's actually 20+ stories in one) taking away the reccord from my first fic... which was complete garbage.
