There are some traumas that one can never fully recover from. Some that damage you so deeply, so irrevocably, that the person you once were has disappeared. In Kagome's case, it happened one night when she left on a short journey to help a neighboring village. Circumstances, however, take her down another path entirely and after that night, she'll never be the same.

Growing up in the family shrine, Kagome has always thought she would graduate and get a fine job. When her mother suddenly died she has to come back home to be her brother's guardian and help her grandfather run the shrine. Her life is dull and she's tired of her draining job. She finally has her chance after an interesting call from her best friend Sango.

Kagome finds a lone inuyokai babe and instinct compels her to take the child in as her own. But there are some things about inuyokai babies that Kagome doesn't know and is ill-equipped to deal with. Fortunately, Kagome has a knack for getting herself out of trouble.

InuYasha's soul is tied to the Shikon Jewel. So when the jewel is destroyed so is InuYasha. This is a dark story with adult content. Please do not read if under 18.

It was a cover up for him and now he has to go through many obstacles to win back the affections she had for him on their first meeting. Will she ever think of him in that manner again? or will they just be friends...

Five hundred years, he's waited for this moment and now he can finally undo all that he'd done. Finally, he can reverse the actions of time and bring about the future that should have been, if only he'd given in sooner. Kagome would be his.
