A/N: So, today… I tried PM ing myself it didn't work which was so sad instead of talking to myself I could have PM ed myself.

Willa's Point of View

This time, instead of the boats, we got on carriages that were pulled by thestrals. Of course, we knew this because will was a big animal nerd and befriended the lot of them last year. I literally had to point to the carriage and say 'in' so that he realized it was going to leave soon. It was cute to see him interact with them though.

I'm not cute! I'm just saying hello to old friends! Right… I thought sarcastically, "So your sister is in Hogwarts this year." Mary had found somewhere else to sit with friends her own age. That didn't mean I wasn't going to talk to her after everything settles down, "What house do you think she'll be in?"

I was genuinely curious; she definitely had a lot of different traits that would put her in different houses. He shrugged not knowing, "I mean I don't really know. I think she might be a Gryffindor, but that's really only because everyone in the family has been a Gryffindor." It just reminded me that having different houses in family's didn't happen often. If anything, we should have gotten in Hufflepuff or become Gryffindor's.

"So, how's the luxury of sitting in these perfectly cushioned seats instead of a hard boat!" Teddy paused. Then continued, "The multiple lights instead of the one!" He made an overexaggerated gesture of relief, "And finally! The opportunity to not be seasick before your sorting!"

Why does teddy always have to be like this? It's because this is his natural form of speech. Yes, but why? "There's not much of a difference for the vampires in the group. Anything really feels comfy, we can see in the dark, and vampires don't get seasick."

He attempted the eyebrow arching and failed miserably. It was around the holidays when I learned he couldn't raise an eyebrow. It was so weird, and I didn't let him forget it. Also, at his failed attempt I made an eyebrow wave and stuck out my tongue. 'Hey, I am twelve' I sent to will before he asked anything.

Teddy just sighed and said, "You know, when I learn to do that, you're going to be groveling at my excellence." I snorted, "Not likely." The ride in the carriage was actually quite short and we only had a few minutes to tease each other before we had to leave the coach.

It wasn't fair that we were in different houses. Or that during feasts we had to sit at our house tables. It really wasn't fair.

Life isn't fair!

Woah, does snape have a quote for everything? Sometimes it really seems he does. Either way, entering the great hall I finally let go of Cristian and sat down next to will. Like last year I picked a spot I could easily have a staring contest with Ashla with. This time however, I chose a spot so that I could also see Cristian.

"Welcome to all new students, and welcome back to old students. We will start with the sorting ceremony. Professor Dumbledore if you please." He nodded and left to the first years. Remember when we were standing there? Yes. I remember it like it was last year. Oh wait… it was. Thanks for the assessment. 'No problem' I responded. If will wanted me to stop making jokes, then he needed to stop giving me the ammo.

All the students entered the great hall and stood waiting to be sorted. I even saw the customary hat and stool, "This hat will tell you what house you will be a part of. So let's call out the first name. Brandon, Anderson." The hat got put on his head, "Ravenclaw!" The hat cried out after a minute.

The sorting continued for quite a while before, "Longbottom, Mary!" If I wasn't mistaken Mary was nervous. Weird, I've never seen her this way. Of course, I only knew her for less than a year, but I think I knew her pretty well to say that bravery and nerve were a few traits of hers. The hat sat atop her head for more than five minutes. She's a hat stall. Hat stall. where did I remember that from?… It's when the hat sits on your head for more than five minutes deciding. Hey, I had it, it was just on the tip of my tongue.

"Gryffindor!" Aww! Why does she get to sit next to Cristian, and I don't. Sadly, life isn't fair. Right now, my brother who already seems like a mini snape when meeting new people is quoting snape. Hey! One, I'm not a mini snape! And second! Snape is actually a great guy once you get past all the hating our mom thing. Right sure…

"Alright, now that the sorting has been completed. I should introduce you to your new defense against the dark arts teacher, Miss Finnigan. She has joined us this year as Flamel has been charged." There was the start of whispers in the great hall. Mostly wondering if what was rumored actually happened.

"Silence please! It is true that Flamel raised a hand against a student for the creation of a second sorceress stone. However, I am more than sure that nothing like that will happen again." She muttered 'for the most part' under her breath, "It is time for the feast to begin. Enjoy." She then sat down and the usually trays of food showed up. I had learned last year that mom was right about the whole balanced diet thing, so this time I actually ate human food. It wasn't as bad now a days.
