Charlie's Point of View

"I think I have to explain to you your three options." Rebecca said after a while. I had let her in to the house, of course leaving the vampires on the porch. She met Leah and mace, even though the meeting was a bit strained.

We had caught up a bit in daily life afterwards, "Options?" I asked, I thought there was only one. Death, "Yes, there are three for someone who knows vampires exist." Hmm… "Why don't shifters count?" I asked, she claimed 'anyone' who knew the secret had three options. Not that I wanted anyone in the la push pact to be subjected to three options, "I meant anyone not magical."

Magical? "What I mean by this is shifters are considered magical beings by the wizarding community, and therefore not a threat for exposure." Wizarding? "How big is this 'wizarding community'?" She made a weird face, "If I tried to answer that we would be here all day." Oh, so a way of saying it's big,

"But for basic numbers. The number of wizards, wizard being a uni sex term. Is five percent of the world population, and there are more or less 196 types of magical animals. Not considering a muggle versus magical type, or hybrids." So, way more than 196, got it.

"Back to your three options though. The first is death, though I wouldn't want you to choose that." So, death was an option. Just not the only one, "Being turned is another one." Becoming a vampire was apparently an option, "Or living in Volturi castle for the rest of your human life."

Well I obviously didn't want to die. I also didn't necessarily want to be a vampire. However, there are vegetarian vampires. Though I'm not sure how Leah and mace would take that, and then there was living in a castle for the rest of my life surrounded by vampires with no regard for human life.

"Would Leah be able to come with me?" Leah explained to me recently that she had 'imprinted' on me, and therefore meant we were soulmates, "That would depend on whether she want to come. If she did, I know Caius would hate it, but he would have to deal with it." So basically yes.

"Give me a moment." I told Rebecca as I went to the living room. I thought this would have to be a family desiscion, "Leah?" I said looking at her. Despite the fact she had been less than half of my age when I married her. I still loved her a lot, "I heard the conversation." She was looking quite annoyed to be quite honest, "I know you're going to ask me. What I think, and although I wish I could keep you safe from them. I can't, honestly to me the best option is staying in Volterra."

My wife wasn't one to accept defeat at all, "So you would come to Volterra with me?" She nodded and started talking, "Just as long as those leaches behave!" A second later she screamed at the door, "Same to you leach! I'm not happy about this either!" I guessed there was conversation going on between one of the vampires at the door and my wife, "Fuck you leach!"

I felt a bit uncomfortable in this room right now, so I left back to the kitchen to see Rebecca waiting. There was a mixture of hope and dread in her eyes. I guessed it was because of the options. Wait… "What's a muggle?" I asked as I sat down, "A muggle would be someone like yourself without magic and not a part of any magical beings or beast community's." So would that have made Bella a muggle. To at least until she became a vampire, "I think living Volterra is the best option."

Willa's Point of View

It was breakfast on a Sunday morning. The competition was going to start soon.

Calling all talented students for all years!

Do you have what it takes to be the best of your year? To win a competition for your house? For those of you who do there will companions for potions, care of magical creatures, defense against the dark arts, charms, transfiguration, dueling, quidditch, ancient runes, and divination.*

It was weird, because the quidditch tryouts for the different houses hadn't even started yet.

You will be competing against your year in all instances and the top four, (one from each house) will compete against each other. Thus, the best house wins. Points will be awarded to the house that wins.

*disclaimer ancient runes are not available to any students under year five.

What areas do you want to participate in? Care of magical creatures, potions and quidditch. What about you? I'm hoping to participate in defense against the dark arts and quidditch, obviously, charms and transfiguration, dueling as well obviously.

"Cristian which subjects do you want to participate in?" He though over it for a moment, "Dueling maybe, I think I would fall flat on my face if I even tried quidditch." I turned to teddy with a smirk, "What about you?" He chuckled, almost as if waiting for me to figure it out on my own, "Everything! Just imagine when all third-year competitions are won by Gryffindor! Roar!" He paused for a second, "Specifically by me" and then continued 'roaring'.

"What about you Mary?" I tried my best to make her feel at home at Hogwarts the last five days, "Maybe I'll try dueling. Care of magical creatures sounds fun too though." Mary was another care of magical creatures nerd like my brother. I think I found them geeking out about some bowtrukcles yesterday through the bond. It was very wholesome to watch. Of course, I did it as discreetly as I could, but I think will might have noticed. That would have been an understatement.
