William's Point of View
Well, well, well I found it
I saw the snitch, it was about twenty feet in the air, and on the other side of the pitch. Coincidentally closer to the other teams seeker. I started to make my way to it. I didn't exactly want the other seeker to know about the snitch, but I did realize that time was of the essence, because the other team only needed two more scores to tie the game. And three more to win it, even if I did catch the snitch.
I calculated the distance of me and the other seeker to the snitch. He was riding a nimbus 2006, mine was a 2019, so I guessed the difference in speed would be enough to make sure I would catch it. With that, I started to make a beeline to the snitch. The other seeker of course noticed this, and looked around for the snitch. He found it and started speeding to get it. The difference in speed was quite obvious and I felt a little bad for him. He was going to lose the snitch because his broom was a bit outdated.
I was close to it, it was right in front of me, but before I could grab it, it dived. Of course, me and the other seeker went after it in a quick decent. If I wasn't mistaken, we were now one hundred feet from the ground, so I'd better catch the snitch fast. At least if I didn't want to smash into the ground. 90 feet, 80 feet.
Hey that wasn't very nice Mr. seeker! Lily was referring to the fact the other seeker tried to ram me off my broom before I passed him to grab the snitch. Of course, that put me back a bit in the race, but not enough that I wouldn't have any chance of catching the snitch. And instead of getting offended and ramming back into him. I just focused on the task at hand.
50 feet, 40 feet. We were quite close to the ground and the other seeker chickened out and pulled away. Catch the snitch will! I'm rooting for you! Sisterly love. I didn't think lily knew this, but sometimes I tunned into her head when I was feeling down. She had a way of being optimistic, but also realistic. If I wasn't currently thirty feet from the ground, I might have laughed about how sometimes people would think she's an optimist and then she just said something completely pessimistic. Then, she would say that she's a realist not an optimist.
At literally twenty feet because I knew I was out of time, I lunged at the snitch and finally caught it. Though now I had a split second to pull up. I just barley brushed the ground before showing everyone the snitch.
That would put the makeshift second years, as better than the Slytherin house team. I wasn't sure if I should be insulted, or feel ecstatic. I guess no one thought we would be able to defeat the Slytherin team. Hooch's whistle sounded, "Alright the game has ended. 160 to 150."
Rebecca's Point of View
I was glad Charlie decided not to choose death. Even though death was the next great adventure. It still hurt when someone left the world. I was going to introduce him to Caius, Marcus, and Aro today and later Diana and Dora, since they weren't at Charlie's house right now.
He said that he still didn't approve of the murder they commit for sustenance, but that he would get to know them. We actually could stay in forks for a day or two, so I might actually get to meet my other cousin that was young enough to be my nephew. And actually, since Charlie and Leah were both coming to Volterra. I would actually be able to be a part of chucks life. It had been a while since I had a child to raise.
"Okay," I said while opening the door to let the three of them in. Caius obviously didn't look too happy about the idea of having a shifter in the castle. Even if she wasn't a werewolf, and I could understand where he was coming from, but I thought he needed to become friends with a wolf so he could see not all of them were that bad.
And besides, the wolf that attacked him, had attacked him during the full moon, and therefore had no control of his actions, "This is Aro, he's my mate so please don't give him a hard time, alright?" I could almost imagine him thinking 'yeah right' before I started introductions again, "This is Marcus." Marcus made a gesture of peace then I started Caius's introduction.
"And the scowling one is Caius." I had to say the biggest difference between the two of us, was when I found someone I didn't like I usually calmed down and thought rationally. That's not to say he didn't think rationally, but he usually satisfied his bloodlust with whomever got on his bad side, "You don't look like much." Charlie said to Aro.
If Charlie was any bit more like me. He would have been poking Aro while he said it. Something I was sure Aro was going to tease me about later, "How do you know you can protect my niece? If I remember correctly, she decided to go to Volterra, and some car crashed into mine and almost killed her. Someone I'm pretty sure was one of your kind, right?"
I sighed; didn't I just ask Charlie not to give Aro a hard time? "Yes. It was likely one of our kind. However, we can't find them because of an intraceability gift." It looked like it hurt Aro to admit someone who killed me got away with it; but he would have been lying otherwise.
"Charlie what did I say about giving Aro a hard time? Besides, I did die that day but I'm fine now." Charlie obviously looked at me like I was delusional, "The doctors were right when they said I shouldn't have survived the crash. They were just wrong in assuming I didn't."
