A/N: Sorry that it's a bit short

Rebecca's Point of View

"The doctors were right when they said I shouldn't have survived the crash. They were just wrong in assuming I didn't." Charlie was still looking at me like I was delusional. Figures I would have to explain this to him sooner rather than later. I was actually surprised he hadn't asked about it sooner.

"Basically, before I met you, the British wizards were fighting a civil war, and thanks to a prophecy. I was destined to defeat Voldemort. Now, I won't give you all the details right now because you can ask about them later; but long story short, while I was trying to defeat him, I became the master of death or would you consider it mistress?" I paused, actually thinking this over and questioning why I didn't think about this before.

"Either way, this means I won't die, I'll never age, and um what else… oh right, nothing can harm me indefinitely, and if I do die, like what happened with the car crash. Then I'll just regenerate, which may take a little bit of time." After I finished, Charlie was stunned silent.

"My niece was expected to solve a civil war? How old were you when this prophecy was made?!" Honestly, he sounded angry. Probably because of how much I was supposed to do in whatever period of time, "Well technically I wasn't even born by then. I wasn't even conceived as weird as that sounds, and the prophecy could have been suggesting me or Nevil. Who also hadn't been conceived at this point."

Wow, now that I think back on it, grown wizards and witches were looking at an unborn child to save them. If magic wasn't involved, Charlie must have thought I was born into some kind of cult. Which reminds me, he really didn't have any evidence magic existed. To him, it was actually likely that I grew up in a cult, "I'm sorry what?" He said it so softly and almost looked like he was about to murder somebody. Of course, I knew he probably wouldn't as he was so against it.

"Basically, the prophecy said, 'someone born to parent's who had thrice defied lord Voldemort', and 'someone born as the seventh month dies.' Like I said, the wizarding population is very small and there isn't really a lot of people willing to fight against Voldemort. A lot of people were, and are, still too afraid to say his name; so, there was only two children who could have been born fitting the criteria." Aro was holding the bridge of his nose by now. Was my explanation really that hard to take?

"that's not what I meant. They expected a child, not even born yet to defeat some Voldemort guy people are terrified of? Why didn't James stop this? Or lily?! I know the both of them, and they wouldn't have let you even try to defeat someone that terrifying." Oh, right, MUSCA only sent the letter to Charlie about my parents deaths after I decided to come here twelve years ago.

"Um…" This just got really awkward, "Mom and dad died when I was one, they never got to have any say about me defeating or not defeating him." Charlie, if he wasn't already, was now thoroughly enraged, "They what?! And I only heard about it seventeen years afterwards?! I really need to talk some sense into your people! They can't just hold out this kind of information! What if I never found out and just ended up hating them for never talking to me anymore?"

That certainly could have happened, which in all honesty was sad to think about. I actually didn't even know Charlie existed until he was mentioned in Snape's memories, and even then I had to really look into it to find out about even something as simple as where he lived.

"That is true, however, I don't exactly like wondering about the what if's. If I did I would have reminisced on my death more times than I can count. And let me tell you that can really sour your mood." Aro, of course, was looking as if he'd rather not think about those times to, "Can we maybe stop this conversation for the moment and continue it at a later date?"

I could tell he was getting uncomfortable, and I knew he would never say it out loud. Especially with Charlie here asking all the questions, "Fine but I'm making a list." Charlie said before reentering his living room. I guessed this was where we were supposed to leave, so we exited the house, "At least he decided to talk to you instead of avoiding you." I said as I took Aro's hand. I was more than happy about how well things had turned out today.
