Willa's Point Of View

I guessed the 'anyone else' group was just going to be only for the back up positions, "Okay, keepers you first. Someone get up there." The two keepers at tryout just looked at each other before the one on the right sighed, getting on his broom and flew up to the goal.

"Okay, Camren, Ethan, get up there and try to score." I guess this was how he was going to test the difference of talent in the chaser positions as well besides his own of course. I wasn't sure, but I didn't think the team leader could be replaced for someone else. He threw the Quaffle up to the guy in the duo. I think Randolph said his name was Ethan? Either way, he threw it up there and Ethan passed it to Camren.

Camren flew to the goal and threw the ball in as she passed. The keeper tryout guy caught it and threw it back to the chasers. Cool. Now Ethan tried, he managed to make it in. Not as cool for the keeper on tryout, but cool for the chasers. This continued three more times of which the keeper on tryout only let the Quaffle in once more before the other keeper was set to tryout.

After five throws, the chasers weren't able to get the Quaffle in. I guess he's going to be on the team. I guessed so to. I was actually glad Macey and snowy got me to come to tryouts. This way, if I failed, I failed, but at least I tried and all that positive muggle stuff about missing all the shots I didn't take.

If anything, I had to say will was probably the most likely to get the seeker position, and that might be personal bias; but I've actually seen him play and he was way better than the seeker he played against in the competition, "Okay, Russel, you get the keeper position. Lucas, our reserve keeper is better than you, so you don't get a position."

Ouch, that's got to hurt, but I understood him wanting to be blunt. Tryouts could take a few hours if there were to many pleasantries, "Seekers, it's your turn to go." He took out a stopwatch, "I'm going to be timing how long it takes for you to get the snitch. Lira, you first." There were actually five people hoping for the position, so either four or three people would be told to leave in an insulting manner.

Do you think you're going to leave insulted? Nope, how can I be insulted if I don't take it that way? It's just a game. he was mentally snorting. Hey! It is just a game. Not to everyone. But to some people. Honestly, this might not be the most reasonable thing to get stubborn about, but so what? It wasn't like will would ever change my mind. No amount of competitive thoughts would.

It took so long for lira to be done, "forty-one minutes and fifteen seconds." That was actually on the longer side of snitch catches, as most were over from thirty to fourth minutes, "Scott, your turn." Literally after five seconds in the air Marn said, "Get back down you obviously can't fly!" At least I knew I would receive no bullshit from him.

Why are you the only one who's happy about that? Hey! Why would I want things to be sugar coated? It just makes ripping off the proverbial band aid harder and hurt more in the long run. Will had no answer to that, "Evelynn, you can start flying, but if you can't fly, I would suggest you leave now." She audibly gulped. Of course, that could just be vampire hearing, but will heard it.

She got on her broom looking for the snitch Marn just released, "Thirty four minutes and twenty one seconds." He said as she touched down showing that she caught it, "William, you can go." I'm not sure if he said will's full name because he forgot, or if he was trying to mess with him. Sadly, it didn't do anything, and he got on his broom.

One thing I've noticed about the people in flying class was that apparently grace on a broom wasn't normal and that usually you were a bit wobbly on a broom. I guess I had to be thankful for my vampire genes. I don't think I've ever been clumsy, on a broom or otherwise.

"Twenty minutes and fifty-nine seconds." That was fast. By now it had already been an hour and people had begun to sit down on the grass waiting, "Presly, now you." He released the snitch after she got in the air. Will, of course, since his tryout was over went to sit next to me.

"So how was my tryout?" I shoved him slightly, "Don't you know the answer to that?" I said sarcastically. Of course, he knew that. He was just hoping to hear it from me, "Good job." I said and patted him on the head. do you really have to do that with all these people around? Yes, it's definitely funny to see you so worked up over your hair. He was currently fixing the hair I apparently misplaced while patting his head.

"Thirty-three minutes and seventeen seconds." Well, I guess will was getting that seeker position. Unless the seeker from the backup team was better than him. Which I doubt, since will won the match against him, "Alright William, you've made the team everyone else who wanted the seeker position, you can leave." After they left. It was my turn to show what I can do. Or at least for beaters to, "Okay, beaters next."
