Willa's Point of View
Me and will were currently walking through one of the many corridors Hogwarts has. We had just been to one of the Slytherin quidditch practices. I don't think Marn had expected us to be up and ready by the time he sent the message to come to the pitch because his face was priceless; a mixture of surprise and if I dare to dream looking slightly impressed.
Either way, Marn had done quite a few training exercises that I knew would make me sore later today, or at best tomorrow morning. I could see why Marn was doing all of this. I mean, the Slytherin team did lose to Gryffindor last year.
We heard a sound that almost sounded like a whip cream dispenser dispensing it's wiped cream. I knew of the sound as I hear it when mom or we use it, because unsurprisingly mom does have sugar, "Killing fun, oh, killing is fun." What? "Killing is fun, killing is fun." It seemed to be in some kind of sing songy voice. Neither will or I was talking, much less singing.
"who's there?" He said, moving into a more protective stance in front of me, "Killing is fun, killing is fun." We both decided this was the time to take out our wands. We were both wondering if we should go see who the voice belonged to, or leave. Mom and dad's scolding was still fresh in our memories.
I guess leaving the area would be best. I felt that way too. Though, we would have to get an adult to check out whatever it was. After all it did say 'killing is fun' in song form. Will was just sighing at my sarcasim next to me as we left the area, keeping our senses sharp as we left.
We didn't hear the voice again. The closest office to this corridor was our defense against the dark arts teacher Ms. Finagin. Professor finagin. Oh yes, professor. I seriously didn't get will's need to think with that amount of decorum, "Umph! Sorry I didn't see the two of you there." I had accidently bumped into our defense against the dark arts teacher.
"Professor Finnigan! We were actually trying to go to your office." She raised an eyebrow, "Oh, why is that?" She questioned, "Because we heard a voice. It literally said killing is fun! It was down that corridor." I said pointing towards the corridor I meant, "Oh, I'll go and check this out then. I imagine you'll tell headmistress McGonagall about the voice, correct?" I nodded and she left down the corridor.
I had actually expected her to question us a bit more about the voice, but she didn't. Looking to will I saw he was stumped at her actions as well, "How about this? I know your missing Cristian, I'll go talk to the headmistress." I nodded. I really wasn't looking forward to being the person questioned by McGonagall. Of course, I knew that of anything dangerous came from the situation, I would be questioned.
He used some of his vampire speed to walk briskly to McGonagall while I headed to the great hall. Breakfast would have started a little while ago, meaning Cristian should be there right now. Teddy probably would have been up for a while because of his own practice and I think Mary went to cheer him on.
As I sat down teddy asked, "Where's will?" Cristian and Mary both looked like they wanted the answer to that as well, "We heard this weird voice, and it said literally killing was fun in song form." Teddy interrupted, "Even better, a murdering voice in song form!" With snark, and I gave him a look before I continued.
"Either way, we ran into professor finagin, and told her about it. Will is right now going to McGonagall to tell her about what happened." Teddy made a big gesture of a wince, "I imagine he's getting questioned in the most torturous of ways right now." Being questioned by a teacher was never fun, but listening to teddy talk about it was.
"Did I ever tell you how much will is enjoying your sarcasm right now?" He puffed up his chest, "No, however, I'm guessing he is?" I responded with a, "No, of course not." And he feigned hurt, "Then I must make some better sarcastic quips." Rising to the challenge he did just that.
I could tell will was enjoying his antics when he got to the 'griffin door'. For some reason, McGonagall has been having her meals in her office. I guessed it might be the stress of running a school. Either way, the 'griffin door' started moving after will stood there for thirty seconds. Apparently, McGonagall knew when a student was standing right in front of the statue. Which was probably how I was able to attract McGonagall's attention in the first place, when Flamel tried to make a sorcerer's stone.
"Willa have you just stopped paying attention?" it was an irate teddy, "No, sorry, I was just watching will enter McGonagall's office." He looked interested now, figures. I focused back on the scene will was in. Now I actually felt bad, will shouldn't have to explain some voices intent of murder to McGonagall. Specifically, not, McGonagall, alone, and I sort of wanted to be there.
Suddenly that weird entering the other's mind thing happened. I was seeing through will's eyes, and this time will could still hear me mentally. What the heck is going on lily? Instead of the usual mental message sound that sounded a lot like we sounded. This sounded like your own thought, if you can hear your own thoughts in the physical sense that is.
