Willa's Point of View
It was the day we would go home for winter break. We were going to Volterra first this year, will wanted to see snowy, and mom wanted us there to help cheer up Bella. I agreed with will about Bella, she really should get her act together. The way she treated mom wasn't exactly respectful or nice. Something mom probably couldn't see, she wanted to keep her whole family close and was blindsided by this.
"Attention everyone! I have an announcement. The potion competition will be held after you all come back from winter break. Have a wonderful holiday and remember that no magic is to be used in the duration of winter break."
McGonagall sat back down after that, and people started their conversations up again, "Are you sure you want to come to Volterra Mary?" Cristian had been asking at intervals, making sure she was perfectly fine with staying in a castle filled with vampires. I really didn't blame him for checking once or twice, but he had been checking quite a lot. I think it was the protective big brother in him, "Yes, is this the last time you're going to ask today? Or are you only going to stop once we get there?" probably only once we got there. It was really a rhetorical question.
A few hours later, we were on the Hogwarts express and I was looking at the hills passing by while sitting next to Cristian, "So when are the two of you going to go on another date?" I couldn't help it, I blushed, and I could smell Cristian's blush right next to me, "Maybe someday soon, I don't know, you don't just ask someone that teddy!"
He smirked, "But you guys are such a cute couple! And you still need to have your first kiss." I could feel my blush expanding. Our relationship had been purely emotional at this point. I was still a bit shy about anything physical, since teddy decided to talk about it. I decided to be another one of his dramatic friends and get some payback at the same time.
"We'll get to that point when we get their teddy. We aren't about to kiss just so you can gossip about it with will like an old lady." He rolled his eyes and morphed into an old lady, "Willa Volturi! Respect your elders and give me something to gossip about." Morphing back, he was still grinning, he had done the 'old lady' voice so well I almost forgot he was still a teenager.
"Sorry," I fired back, "I won't respect my elders unless there at least a hundred years old, because otherwise, there quite young." I thought you listened to me? Being an older brother isn't an elder. Same difference. Your right, it will be a same difference… once were about a hundred.
The Hogwarts express has officially stopped. Please take your bags and exit the train. The train station was the same as it always had been, but this time Demetri and alec were there instead of Felix. Interesting… "Hey alec." I said knowing they would hear me despite the train station being busy. Vampire hearing was great.
"And you aren't going to say hi to me?" Demetri asked. Snickering, I told Mary and Cristian about it while were walking towards them. Teddy had already found Mrs. Weasley and his brother Dylan, "Hello Demetri." I said making a wonderfully exadurated production of wavering at him,
"So, you would be Mary, it's wonderful to make you acceptance." Alec said when we got there. Being chivalrous and kissing the back of her hand, Mary looked a bit uncertain of what to do in the situation, and to be honest, a bit embarrassed, "Um, thank you." She said.
"Really Alec?" I said, "There's a reason vampires are listed as the most seductive creatures on the planet." He feigned offence, "I have but the purest of intentions." Rolling his eyes, will said, "We all know you do." We ended up spending some time catching up at the station before getting on the plane, or technically jet, "It's so weird to think muggles use these all the time."
"well, we got the best of both worlds growing up as halfbloods." It was true being halfbloods was the best, you could function better in both worlds. Something I've noticed many purebloods and muggleborns lack.
Muggleborns are thrust into a world of magic that they were told didn't exist for eleven years, and purebloods sometimes had zero idea what muggle things were and or did. Liam didn't know what a plastic straw was, it was actually quite hilarious thinking back on it.
Not only that, but you weren't inbred like most of the purebloods who normally married their cousins. Or if possible… there second cousins, "Well, I'm going to go pass out on the bed in the first cabin, happy plane ride." will said sarcastically.
We told Mary about what happens for will on a plane though I didn't think she believed us. Even so, she would probably believe us in a second when the plane starts and will starts snoring, "So, what are we going to do to make the plane ride pass faster?"
Obviously, we couldn't all fall asleep on a plane like will, "We could all play poker." Poker? "Are you sure mom's okay with us gambling? And besides we don't have anything to gamble with." Alec pulled out some toffees from a glove department and shrugged, "Eh, why not?" I said. Demetri won once, I won a few times, Cristian just decided to watch with alec commenting and Mary won most of the games surprisingly. I wondered her secret at keeping a poker face… and I wanted some of the toffees.
