Willa's Point of View

I was honestly stunned, the thought that a basilisk was roaming Hogwarts, and that there was another parslamouth at Hogwarts could do that to a person. Right now, will was face to face with McGonagall, who was commenting on the grim look of will and teddy's faces.

I decided that now would be a wonderful time to join will in his head, "Headmistress, how was mark found?" He asked. McGonagall looked questioningly at him, "I'm not certain why this has any reason to interrupt my work Mr. Volturi, I'm kept quite busy between the letters from Ryan Carson and trying to find out how or why someone decided to attack Mr. lancer."

She did look quite irritated, and I think if it were anyone else but us, they would have backed away from her glare, "Mam, I think I know how he was petrified." After a second her nostrils flared and she said, "Go on! Out with it!"

All of her patience must have been used before now, dealing with a Carson must do that to a person, "A basilisk attacked him, that's why I asked how mark was found. If he was found with a reflective surface then that means he was extremely lucky to not have looked directly at it."

"Why do you think it's a basilisk? There's no more basilisk in the chamber of secrets, and if there was one roaming in the corridors with no one to stop it, then why hasn't there been another attack?" Well, at least she thought it was a semi plausible idea.

Wait… will, what about the disembodied voice from that day? Could that have been in parslatongue? We really didn't know the difference yet. When we heard it, or when we ended up accidently speaking it, "Because there's another parslamouth. Me and teddy came across another snake in the corridors today it said, 'so you're one of the other parslamouths?' Meaning besides me and lily there's another parslamouth! That would also explain the disembodied voice we heard in the corridor that day before the attack. It sounded like English, but we really don't know the difference yet."

Wait… that also explained the whipped cream sound! Doesn't snowy sound like that when she moves? "Lily just said that that also explained the whipped cream sound. Because 'that's how snakes sound when they move'." He said it in air quotes, rude.

For a second, McGonagall looked confused. Probably before she remembered what we had said last year about the mind link, or maybe it was about what snake movement sounded like. I really didn't know, "Hmm, Mr. lancer was found with a mirror in hand. He seemed to have been checking on how his face looked."

Which meant he was checking his hair when a basilisk came in and petrified him. Can you not be sarcastic for one moment? We've literally just found out there's a basilisk in the school. Hey, this is how I cope with trauma, you do it too. He had to stop himself before he said anything because he realized that it was in fact true. Me bringing up every time it happened might have had something to do with it.

"This is quite serious; I'll have to do a thorough search of the school…" By now she was muttering to herself. I don't think teddy heard what she was muttering. Though we heard it loud and clear, "Thank you, I'll address your concerns, was there anything else?" Will nodded, "Whoever the parslamouth is, we think might have been the one to set the snake on Ashla. Probably with the snake in the corridor."

"oh, right," She said, "Where is that snake now?" Why don't you say Mrs. Finnegan showed up and vipera evanesced it away? He mentally sighed at me. It was a funny joke I shot back, "Mrs. Finnegan showed up and cast vipera evanesca on the snake, so basically the snake is no longer in existence."

Summoned snakes are kind of created from nothing, and there really was no way to bring back the snake you sent away with that spell. I guess it was because no one had need for that sort of thing, at least not until now that is, "Alright, you may go back to doing whatever it was you were doing."

She left after that, up her 'griffin door' It's just a door lily! It's more than a door will! It's a griffin, and a door at the same time! The imagery is ironic! Will sighed, this time out loud. Do you even know what ironic means?

Yes, ironic: something that happens that is the opposite of what it's supposed to be generally, causing wry amusement. My amusement is defiantly there, even if it's not wry. Fine. Alirighty, I said to him before leaving his mind. We had tried to enter the others mind and had definitely gotten better at it. Whether or not we would get sucked into the others mind for some random reason was still to be seen as it hadn't happened yet. Which I took as a good sign of it possibly working.

"What was that all about?" Oh, right, I forgot to say anything besides I was entering will's head so he wouldn't worry that I spaced out, "Well… will and teddy found a snake in a corridor, then Ms. Finnegan showed up and vipera evanesced it away, then they went to McGonagall to report it and basically bounced ideas off of each other until they came to the conclusion that there is in fact another parslamouth in the school and probably a basilisk running ramped through the corridors, even though the technically can't run and can only slither…"

I took in a huge breath now that, that was ended. I had not been breathing while trying to explain this to Cristian. Now though, that the basic explanation was done, I started to explain piece by piece what happened.
