This is the full rewrite of the original Interloper, first posted almost ten years ago. Summary: Follow the adventures of Michael Liddle as he quite literally falls into the ME universe. A self insert covering the events of the first entry of the series. Follows the story of the Normandy crew and more as they strive to save a changing galaxy.

Deployed to patrol the Turian Fringe Systems the HNV Invictus is badly damaged and is forced to blind-jump with a damaged FTL drive, it's crew survived the ordeal, landing on 'humanity's doorstep the crew is rescued and the Invictus is scuttled, Humanity learning of the Hierarchy moves to put its best foot forward by bringing their wayward sons and daughters home. In the Year 2015, Earth was attacked by an unknown Alien Empire. With X-com they fought the alien menace again and again, overcoming the Odds and Forging a new Empire comprised of the former enemies enslaved to the Elder's will. With a lighthearted disposition, a pistol for a mouth, and an unorthodox way of doing things that's hardly ever PR-approved, she's made her mark on the galaxy, for good or bad. The war is over. The Reapers were defeated. Now, centuries after, both Shepard and Liara has the perfect life. (Basically Shepard can live 1000 years and lives with Liara for centuries now.)

Before Shepard goes back to Earth to face charges against her by the Alliance, she and Garrus decide to make the most out of their last day together. Garrus/FShepard! Rated M for sexual content, mostly.

In the aftermath of Thessia, Councilor Tevos receives an unexpected visit. A short, sweet one-shot in which Shepard and Tevos are closer than anyone realized. Now being continued as a series of vignettes chronicling the unlikely relationship between the Asari Councilor, and the first human SpecTRe.

AU, ME1. Main changes are to humanities biology. Same universe as 'Bloody Path to the Stars'. After coming onto the galactic scene in a short but bloody war, Humanity has a meteoric rise. Now another hurdle is being jumped. A human is being seriously considered as a possible spectre, but this human will be more important than anyone realizes.

The combat drone installed in the omni-tool Cerberus gave to engineer Evangeline Shepard is a sophisticated piece of equipment, and there aren't a lot of safeguards isolating it from other systems in Shepard's omni-tool or within Normandy's servers.
