Kuvira is under house arrest in Zaofu. The sooner she leaves Republic City, and more accurately Korra, the better; but life more complicated than what everyone thought. Korra and Kuvira must accept that their souls are bound to one another, and deal with the consequences of that connection. Despite this mess, can love bloom in the most unexpected places? A collection of short stories from the people who remained in Republic City after Korra went back to the Southern Water Tribe after book 3. Primarily focuses on Asami, but other characters do get some stories as well.

The spirit world, and the physical are joined once more. The portals are open, and the nations are at peace. Avatar Korra has finally brought balance to the world, or has she? No matter how brightly a light shines, there will always be a shadow waiting for night to fall. Darkness is rising once more, and this time the Avatar may not be enough to stop it. Story loosely follows the comics up to the end of ruins of the empire. Korra/Asami. THis story follows Korra and Asami as they handle the fallout from Kuvira's destruction and help restore balance to the world and heal their wounds. All the while they discover more about their relationship and the world they live in.
